Geelong Horse Racing Tips, Wednesday 30th June 2010, Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Geelong Races Wednesday 30th June 2010

Races were moved from Sandow to Geelong and the synthetic track. I hope to steer us in the right direction.

Race 1 – 12.00pm – No 6 Fifth Elephant with Nolen on board the first time this preparation has a big chance in this weak field. No 1 Rue Maple with the 2kg claim has a good chance here. Also nominated this Saturday. No 7 Selma Spur has a chance at odds if starts, is also nominated Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Race 2 – 12.35pm – No 1 Royal Bender from Darren Weir won easily first up and the 3kg claim by Noonan a big help here. No 3 Melted didn’t do a lot right first start, slow away and no speed before waking up about 400mtrs to go and finished race off well. No 5 Miss Outstanding has won a trial and finished second in another. From Patinak racing so will sure to be a smart horse. Also nominated Saturday.

Race 3 – 1.10pm – No 5 The Pentagon gets Boss on board and 4th run back this preparation should be firing fit. No 1 Titch has only had 3 runs in Australia and finished close to the talented Black and Bent. Will appreciate the good firm surface for sure.

Race 4 – 1.45pm – No 1 Whoppit is a smart horse and if anywhere near best will account for these. No 4 Roof Raiser likes to lead but putting Newitt on board he may be able to hold her up a little and finish over the top of these. No 3 Belle’s Ready will be doing best work late and could sneak over the top of them.

Race 5 – 2.20pm – No 5 Starshot this looks ideal for him, very light and extra metres all in favour. No 1 Clang and Bang with a 3kg claim and will be finishing hard as always. No 5 Curata Dream looked very good winning first up.

Race 6 – 2.55pm - No 2 Lake Crescent will like the synthetic track and has run two solid races in Melbourne for a win and a good 5th. Will be hard to beat. No 6 Amerryking closed out his last race really well. No 16 Koornang Road won his only race 320 days ago. This was a very nice win and ran 2nd in a trial on the 23rd.

Race 7 – 3.30pm – No 7 Spontaneous isn’t far away from another win. No 2 Definitive has Nolen back on board and did show some promise 2 starts back. No 5 Speedymac has Rodd on board and has been working to the line well so extra metres should suit.

Race 8 – 4.10pm – No 13 Stella Command from Oliver gets a good weight drop and is running really well. No 11 Shysta is running a great stint here and looks like will be in this a long way. No 1 Take All of Me is a classy horse. If anywhere near best will be hard to beat.

Quadrella numbers, races 5,6,7,8:

1,5,7,12 / 2,6 / 2,5,7 / 1,3,4,11,13 at a cost of $120 a unit

Flemington Races Saturday 26th June 2010

It is a heavy 8 track and a chance of more rain so mudlarks are needed. Will try and point everyone in the right direction.

Race 1 – 12.25pm – No 1 Breitling (special) is a first starter from Robert Smerdon and Glen Boss on board. It has been backed from $10 into $2.50. There has to have been a good whisper from the stable for such a move on this horse. I got on board late at $5.80 for $500 and am hoping to start the day off well. For multiples No 5 Sweet Cheeks $5.50 and No 4 Soul $13.

Race 2 – 1.00pm – No 2 Servant $6.50 looked really good the way he finished his last race win off. The extra metres look perfect for him. No 8 Riptide $4.50 with the 3kg claim will again be right in this; last start win was a nice the way she finished over the top of the leader. No 4 Jaggers $6.50 showed a lot of fight last start and the small break will have him very fresh for this. No 10 Marked Danger $16 fought so hard last start after leading all the way to the line.

Race 3 – 1.35pm – No 2 Stoneblack $3.90 (Special) did finish the race off well last start and the extra metres looks perfect here. No 3 Midnight Glory $6 is a big threat, ran a big race last start being wide and no cover and still fished well over the others. No 9 Fiscal $13 last two runs give him a big chance in this for sure.

Race 4 – 2.10pm –No 7 The Handsome One $4.40 won his first two races before coming up against Denman and Carrara and being blown away. Did look good winning at Caulfield and ran a nice trial to win on the heavy on the 31st of May. No 6 No Vacancy $8.50 has a good first up record and also distance and handles the wet. No 5 Alkahiff $8 has been around the mark with four thirds in a row. Needs to step up a bit though to get that win. No 2 Beyond Pardon $6.50 will lead and make them chase hard all the way.

Race 5 – 2.45pm – No 1 Keano $5.50 (each way) is good first up, track, distance and wet form all very good and a big threat. No 10 Whiston $8.50 is light and has been running well. No 4 Galbraith $6.50 is sprinting well and sure to be in this a long way. No 14 Ferocia $12 two solid runs this preparation and last start a hard run and fought well.

Race 6 – 3.20pm – A hard race and many chances. No 7 Dane Keeper$5.40 has a solid record first up, at the track and on the wet. No 8 Outlandish Lad $9 has a terrible barrier but racing well and should handle the wet. No 5 Dr Doute’s $8 has been running solidly. No 1 Pinnacles $18 is carrying some weight 60kgs but a handy horse

Race 7 – 3.55pm – No 6 Red Buttons $4.80 looks like he could win his second race in a row here. No 1 Light Vision $9 is a solid stayer and will be in this a long way even though the big weight. No 8 Riveted $4.80 is very light with the 3kg claim and a nice gutsy effort last start. No 5 Even Adam $11 won well last start after blowing the start.

Race 8 – 4.30pm – No 4 Cherbonbutch $2.90 (special) has 3 impressive wins in a row and a huge chance at making it 4. No 1 Offenders $3.10 this should be what he is looking for and last start hardly got out of second gear. No 7 Riceman $7 has excellent wet form and also over the distance.

The quadrella is hard today as races 5 and 6 are very open, race 6 there are 10 horses that have a chance of winning I believe.

My quadrella numbers are: 1,4,10,14 / 1,3,4,5,7,8 / 1,2,5,6,8 / 1,4 at a cost of $240 a full $1 unit

Moonee Valley Racing Tips 23rd of June 2010, Victoria Australia.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Moonee Valley Races 23rd June 2010

Race 1 – 11.30am - No 2 Noesis could be back to the horse everyone was thinking could be a decent thing. She won the Listed Inglis 1000mtr 100K race. Had 5 more starts and not a place, some races there were excuses but what is exciting is how she won a trial on the 25th of June. She looked like she may have found that speed she showed in her first race. No 3 Val’s Boy did a bit wrong last start and finished 2nd not too far behind the winner. Made contact at the start and also in the home straight when shifting out off the track. You cannot ignore No 8 Bye Bella who has won her two starts this preparation in a good way.

Race 2 – 12.00pm – No 2 Clang and Bang (special) is racing really well and last two wins have been really impressive. The 3kg claim makes him carry a weight he should have no problem with. No 8 Wassaic will lead for sure and give these something to chase down. No 5 Exclusive Choice should be looking for this distance. Was chasing hard last start all the way to the line.

Race 3 – 12.35pm - No 2 Mayenda Strategy is going great guns and the 3kg claim makes a huge chance to make 3 wins in a row. No 9 Rock and Roll could be the big improver here. Fought really hard last start after dropping away and then coming again. Well bred and just hasn’t found her feet yet. No 8 Princess Rage 5 really good runs this preparation and will be right in this. No 1 Mont Fleuri has been getting away badly from the barriers, if she can jump well she will sure to be a threat.

No 4 – 1.10pm – No 2 Jetconi is second up and even though not a good record at this his first up run he looked good working home solidly. No 1 Prospect, the trainer is confident he can carry the 59kg and h did run a very good race last start.

Race 5 – 1.45pm – No 3 Shylock’s Daughter ran a very good race after blowing the start last start. Worked to outside the lead and was just run down near the line. No 1 Soph, first start in Australia wasn’t so bad, did finish well off the winner but was finding her feet towards the end of the race. No 2 Pray For Me is running solid and back in this class will be a threat.

Race 6 – 2.20pm – No 5 Dane The Rave is running very consistent and finding the line very well. No 4 Have a Shot looked okay after a hard run.

Race 7 – 2.55pm – No 7 Saint Roman ran a very nice first race on Australian soil. Fell out the gates last, was 3 wide but was doing best work late. No 10 Rubinacci is a long way from his two Ballarat wins in a row but is going well and finishing races off well. No 9 Robden Flyer is only going to be fitter here and ran a very good race last start before fading. No 1 Tinamou has to carry a heap of weight but will be in this a long way.

Race 8 – 3.30pm – No 10 Tough Future (Special) is a Tasmanian galloper come to Melbourne to test how good he is. I have watched each of his races and he does look like he could be a decent money earner. Was slow out of the barriers and two runs in a row and each time has an exceptional turn of foot to get up to the lead. Then last start he jumped well and thumped the others by 8 lengths.

Race 9 – 4.10pm No 3 Viking Turf Belle is going to be a lot fitter here and hard to keep out. No 7 Piece of the Sky has a win and a second first up, so respect. No 6 Gold Rocks won the Group 2 Karrakatta in Perth ($504,000) 1200mtr but since coming to Victoria has gone amiss. She did look a lot better last start and finally gave a glimpse of her old self.

Bendigo Races 20th June 2010

Bendigo Races 20th June 2010
This is a hard meeting; most races have many chances so watch markets closely to see where the smart money is going.

Race 1 – 12.10pm – This race there looks to be many chances. A few have a decent run under their belt and the first starters are nicely bred to sprint well. No 1 Arboreta has a nasty barrier (14) but an Exceed and Excel who was smart, No 4 Defying Gravity out of Flying Spur also bred for speed, No 7 Global Anthem out of General Nediym also an excellent sprinter. Of the raced lot No 2 Booklet and No 3 Crystal Castles both ran solid first up race runs.

Race 2 – 12.45pm – No 10 Maxmollieava has an excellent chance to break her duck and No 1 Black Hawk form looks terrible but by breeding should be better than this.

Race 3 – 1.20 pm – A hard sprint race. No 4 China Tang first run is better than it looks. Was 3 wide and no cover all the way but still fought hard to finish third. No 10 Ossetia has a big chance to finally break through for a win, is racing well and not too far away. No 11 Persian Mix is an interesting runner. Ran a good debut race back in August 09, then next race tried to be a bronco horse and eased out of the race. Then ran another shocker. Sent for a 274 day spell and won a trial 17th of May over 900mtrs. Hillman her dad had speed so could surprise here.

Race 4 – 1.55pm - A very hard race. A number of chances here. No 8 Miss La Frenz from O’Brien and Hall on board only has two starts and both times found the line well. Won’t need to do a lot more to win this. No 4 Cranleigh is sure to be a better horse after her spell, was making ground out wide to the line last start. No 6 Hussallet looked good last start making good ground after a very tough run wide. No 7 Meander Valley should like this distance and has been working home well.

Race 5 – 2.30pm – Another hard race with plenty of chances. No 3 Belgietto ran 2nd to the promising Base, hit line very hard to just miss beating him. Forget last start as was awkwardly out of the gates and made heavy contact with another horse and never recovered. No 2 Royal Dalton has 2 excellent listed race runs last preparation, first up this preparation was held up and could have finished a lot closer, and last start too far back before making good ground on the line. No 5 Lord Of Arms looked good winning last start and could be a decent money earner with the odd city race win for connections. No 1 Brillanconi has a big weight but can carry it for sure and will be in this a long way. No 6 Montague won by 8 lengths last start and did this in only 200mtrs.

Race 6 – 3.08pm – No 13 Starxaar has two very good runs under the belt this preparation, handles the wet and finishes her races off well. No 8 Marotta has a bad barrier (17) but is flying; this is her 4th run in this preparation and will be very fit. No 3 Banri Maeve won for me last start and will be in this for sure but is up in weight and maybe will be a little too heavy. No 4 Graphic has ran against two smart horses last two starts and not so far away, this is a much easier race.

Race 7 – 3.45pm – No 6 Fifth Elephant gave them all a lesson last start. It was an impressive win and though only a maiden fillies and mares she looked very good. No 8 Masai Miss has run against some good horses, and she beat Dubleanny, and just behind Gibraltor Moon and Trim. No 2 Save a Penny has an excellent first up record of 100%. No 4 Kaeduna also goes well fresh.

Race 8 – 4.25pm – No 10 Diva La Belle a Bel Esprit first up this preparation has wet track form and goes alright fresh. No 9 Sweet Svengali flew home last start for a nice win. No 11 Miss Pinkalot last two races have been very gutsy leading and winning one and another just getting pipped. No 8 Gavan’s Gift look good winning last start.

Quadrella numbers races 5,6,7,8

1,2,3,5,6 / 3,4,8,13 / 6 / 8,9,10,11 cost $80 a unit

Sandow Lakeside Racing 19th June 2010

The track has been downgraded to a heavy 9 and the forecast is overcast and possible rain.

Race 1 – 12.10pm – No 1 Conquering Journey $4 from Moody and Dunn on board won well last start. Found the line well after being tightened for room about 900mtrs out. His breeding suggests this distance should be what he wants and more as his dad won his only two group race starts over 1600-1700mtrs. No 2 Dorsoduro $3.60 really charged home late last start at Flemington down the flat straight. Will need to be closer on the speed and not sure if will handle the heavy track. No 6 Men are From Mars $5 got held up last start and had to get off heels before flying home to just miss out on the win. Any scratching look at No 4 Clarion Lass $7.50 who won well last start but looking at her races isn’t up to speed of the others.

Race 2 – 12.45pm – No 5 Musqui $7.50 has made the trip from Tasmania, has two runs for two very impressive wins. Last start absolutely blew them away, it was only a 2yo handicap but still impressive. No 2 Trudeau $2.50 has two excellent wins under his belt. Finding the line very well and the 1.5kg claim will help on the heavy track. No 3 Al Jandar $11 won by 4 lengths on debut at Ararat, this is a long way from there but is out of Al Samer who was a smart sprinter. Watch the markets on first starters No 6 Cosmic Causeway $8 and No 12 Miss Fiona $7.50.

Race 3 – 1.25pm – The Australian Steeple, I am not a big fan of jumps racing but am tipping No 3 Last Shogun $9 is racing well over the hurdles and finished not too far off Black and Bent and Some are Bent and fought very hard last start to just miss out. No 1 Mazzacano $2.80 is a top quality steeple chaser, this might sound crazy looking at last two losing margins of 33 lengths and 99.1 lengths but this horse has been set for this and is much better than the last two starts and the markets reflect this. No 4 Stop The Traffic $11 is going well over the steeples.

Race 4 – 2.05pm – No 3 Black and Bent $1.90 (special) is impossible to not back, has 6 out or seven wins on the trot and looks like it will be extended here going by the way he is racing. His stable mate No 1 Some are Bent $6 has gone just a little off track last two runs, is a quality horse and if he could turn his luck around here could break the 1million barrier. No 6 Tibooburra Travis $7 is running solid races over the flat and hurdles.

Race 5 – 2.45pm – No 6 Rowland $5 has an excellent record at this distance and also in the wet. With the claim is very light and will be a big chance of winning 3 in a row. No 2 Oak Heart $4 ran an excellent race against Black and Bent last start and was doing best work late over the 2500mtrs. No 7 Crabs $11 can run the distance and with the 3kg claim is very light.

Race 6 – 3.20pm – No 8 Elumino $5 is a lightly raced mare with talent and was scratched last Monday at Moonee Valley. Will handle the track and sure to be super fit. No 4 In The Shadows $8 ticks a lot of boxes. A good record at the distance and track, good wet track form and excellent first up form and was scratched last Monday at Moonee Valley. No 2 Falaise$10 have to keep safe, this horse does have speed, wet track form and trained by Snowden and Zahara on board.

Race 7 – 3.55pm – No 3 Ghost Milk $2.20 (special) has only had a handful of runs since coming to Australia and this preparation looks to have found her feet. Last start won very well and it wasn’t an easy run but hit the line with plenty in the tank, the 3kg claim by the jockey will help a lot. No 1 Afterburn $10 you have to respect when you look at wet track form and not too bad at distance and track. No 7 Bronislava $10 has two wins in a row and last start dug deep to hang on, is sure to be fitter now.

Race 8 – 4.30pm – No 1 Jungle Ruler $2.40 (special) looks too good for these with his current form. He has two good wins in a row and looks like adding a third. No 6 Mossurmi $4.60 the visitor from Sydney handles the wet well and a 50% record at this distance. No 9 SpeedyMac $9 with a 3kg claim is very light.

Quadrella numbers races 5,6,7,8

2,6 / 4,8 / 3 / 1/ only costing $4 or 2,6 / 1,2,3,4,8 / 3,7,10 / 1 / costing $30

Tatura Races 18th June 2010

The races were moved from Kilmore to Tatura because of the track. It is still a slow 7 so will be looking for mudlarks.

Race 1 – 12.14pm – This is a very weak race and all these horses are average at best. So I am going for the first starter No 8 My Liberty Belle, is out of Statue of Liberty and he had some speed and Hall on board looks good to me. No 6 The Majority has shown some fight in his runs. No 5 Seguro ran 1.9 lengths to Kidnapped over 1400mtrs and lead for the first 600mtrs.

Race 2 – 12.49pm – No 6 Strategic Spell out of Strategic who won 5 out of his first 6 race starts.Strategic Spell last start had a huge run, if you haven’t seen the race. Got onto the heels of a tired horse, got held up at least 6 strides in the straight, had to check off the heels and then laid in. Was solid in the market and the extra metres look excellent for him. No 4 Major Event a first starter from Russell Cameron looks nicely bred and should have speed as his dad had plenty of speed. No 7 Zeeyajimi from David Hayes, he has been very patient with this horse. It first trialed in September 09 and was put away after a poor performance, then trialed again on the 24th May 2010 running a decent race. Was scratched on the 10th of June at Geelong so watch betting. Looking at breeding would prefer longer.

Race 3 – 1.24pm – Another tough race with plenty of average horses. No 1 Bold Truce (nominated 22nd Kyneton) has improved each start this preparation. Last start was working to the line very well. No 2 Eldoni (nominated 22nd Kyneton) also found the line well last start, was laying in but still making ground. No 9 Lagonissi (nominated 22nd Kyneton) from Moody hasn’t done anything fantastic her two starts but wouldn’t be surprised to see a much better race here. No 4 Magnetic East (nominated 22nd Kyneton) is from Jeune and has nothing to show from 8 starts but maybe this distance will be more to the liking.

Race 4 – 1.59pm – No 8 Rampart looks like he has been sent here for a kill. He is a better horse than his form suggests. Both races has been in the lead and last start raced wide and also got galloped on. No 10 Bellantina is a first starter who won a trial and is out of Bel Esprit so respect. No 5 Halo’d Be Thy Name out of God’s Own and had speed. No 6 Hovercraft is probably going to want a bit longer than this.

Race 5 – 2.34pm – No 6 Mahmentum had two solid race starts before failing on the very heavy track last start. Will be sure to be right in this with a better track. No 7 Coppalrossa won impressively last start and stays at the same weight. No 1 Darwin was scratched at Flemington on the 5th, is a good horse and a chance even though the big weight. Any scratchings No 2 Cugat King for multiples.

Race 6 – 3.09pm – No 8 Distillery won for me last start and I believe he can again. No 10 Mokobaesi Miss won first up well and has a good 2nd up record. No 5 Beerwinespirits is coming back from a 240 day break but also nominated the 19th and 24th. Is a smart horse with a very good record at this distance so if starts watch markets.

Race 7 – 3.44pm – No 8 Forge has very good form around this distance and Newitt on board looks good to me. No 3 Turantino is coming back from a spell but has a 1550mtrs trial under his belt. No 2 Ready and Willing is a lightly raced 5yo and has been scratched twice since his last run and goes okay at this distance.

Race 8 – 4.29pm No 10 Podsnap won well first up and Zahara on board will again be hard to beat. No 7 Mitchener from O’Brien and Hall on board has to be watched and will be coming home hard. No 9 Bussan Boy is also running solid races.

Quadrella Numbers races 5,6,7,8

1,2,6,7 / 8,10 / 2,3,5 / 7,9,10 cost $72 a unit

Seymour Races 17th June 2010

The first 6 races are all maidens and I will try and steer you in the right direction.

Race 1 – 11.05am – No 10 Troubleshooter is an interesting runner, has changed hands from Gai Waterhouse to Mick Price. This horse ran two excellent trials way back in January 09 over 900mtrs but then disappointed when racing. He has since been gelded so expect a different horse. No 4 Highly Regarded is close to breaking through for his first win, was solidly back last start but distance seemed a little too far this early in career, back to 1200mtrs and the way he was finding the line over shorter distances this looks a much better trip. No 3 Fossicking was disappointing last start but a betting move was made so watch markets again and track conditions better. No 14 Repetitious ran a solid debut and hit line hard over 1100mtrs.

Race 2 – 11.35 – No 2 Farasi form looks terrible but when you watch his races he hasn’t done a lot right or had a lot of luck. Is well bred and opened his career against the top galloper Denman being smashed off the track. Has blinkers off for first time and also no barrier blanket either. No 3 Golden Jeuney will have to be watched first up, his dad did win over 1200mtrs first up before going on to be a champion stayer. No 12 Gail a first starter needs to be watched in the betting. No 10 Crosshairs from Mark Kavanagh watch betting closely

Race 3 – 12.05pm – No 12 Miss Yappa (nominated 22nd at Kyneton) ran a good first up race in Echuca, was well supported and raced wide all the way and was also unbalanced but weakening horse shifting ground in the straight. No 11 Jindga has found the line all 3 runs this preparation, having Yendall on board a big plus. No 2 Bensky is a horse that could be the big improver. Is back after 217 day break so watch markets.

Race 4 – 12.35pm – No 3 Calippo can be forgiven for her first up run, was hampered when starting by another horse and then couldn’t get clear on the bend with no clear runs in the straight. Breeding suggests better than this. No 7 La Phillyharmonic out of the strong Kent stable. This horse was scratched at Geelong back on the 10th and she was supported last start but failed and spelled. I expect a much better horse here. No 6 Jac’s Pride from David Hayes is out of Don Eduardo (A Zabeel colt) will probably need longer breeding suggests to me, his dad did win over 1300mtrs and ran some good races over 1400mtrs. No 2 Bon Delicieux has Zahara on board for the first time but will need to lift going on past and present form but with this jockey it is possible.

Race 5 – 1.10pm – No 3 Camago Cat (nominated Sunday Bendigo) last start was a shocker and forget, Tried to buck rider off at the jump, then raced wide with no cover, before at only race start was a solid 3rd over 12oomtrs and being a Scaredee Cat should like this distance. No 6 I’m Outspoken (nominated Saturday Sale, Sunday Bendigo) has run 3 good races this preparation. Rattled home weaving through horse last start after losing 2 lengths at the start being tightened for 2nd and Boss on board. No 2 By The Ears (nominated Sunday Bendigo) from Ken Keys and Zahara on board is a better horse than his last race. His first start he ran a very solid race.

Race 6 –1.45pm - A big watch on No 15 Zafir Adiva opened short at $3.30 on debut but drifted to $8 with no support showing that she wasn’t ready to win. She is a Cape Cross so 1600mtrs or more should be perfect and in her first race she actually looked good. Watch markets closely. No 2 Ellezorez is racing well as the distances have increased this preparation. Is finding the line well and so close to a win and a big chance here. No 4 Flash O’Brilliance found the line well at his 3rd race start and breeding suggest (Royal Academy) he will like this distance. No 9 Titus Tatius a Show a Heart gelding has no doubt been very disappointing for connections and trainer. Had two trials before this preparation before running 4th but was checked and hung out. Could be the big improver with fitness and that run.

Race 7 – 2.20pm - No 2 Mann Almighty has a terrible barrier (17) but won impressively last start over 1400mtrs and supported very well from $1.70 into $1.60. Hit the line flying to get there. No 3 Margrave from Snowden and a Lonhro gelding, Snowden has been patient as always and here he puts winkers on for the first time and this will help this horse a lot as he ran about in the straight last start. No 7 Hef finished his race off well last start to get a win and being out of King’s Best this trip with 300mtrs should suit beautifully. No 15 Imprudence looked smart winning last start and the step up in distance should suit by breeding. No 4 Mateo 2 very good runs back this preparation and will sure to be coming home fast.

Race 8 – 2.55pm – No 5 Sheedy is much better than his last 3 starts suggest. This horse has plenty of speed and wil sure to be very fit now and will be hard to hold out. No 6 Silky Smooth comes into this light, has been carrying 57 – 60kgs but here just 53.5kgs. Will be sure to give this a shake. No 3 Tan Tat Jet is racing well and will soon be spelled for sure. Rattled home last start for a good win and at this weight a big chance.

Race 9 – 3.30pm – No 4 Shinning Bullet (nominated 22nd Kyneton) has two good runs this preparation and now up to a suitable distance at the 2000mtrs being a Galileo. Was well supported last start and expect him to be strong to the line. No 5 The Big Steel (nominated 22nd Kyneton) over raced last start but still found enough to win, now Boss is on board and one of the best distance jockeys there is. No 9 Onerahi Bay (nominated 18th Kilmore, 22nd Kyneton) should be looking for this trip and beyond to 2400mtrs.

Race 10 – 4.10pm – No 12 Lucky Shot is second up and not a good record at this but looked good the way he fought hard first up and much better for that run. He does have plenty of speed. No 9 Glasovit has plenty of speed and may zip and push for the lead from barrier 14 and then set a genuine pace and hold these off. No 2 Sherpa has an excellent record over the 1000mtrs and will be right in this. No 5 Nate is up a little in weight but also has good speed.

Quadrella numbers races 7,8,9,10

2,3,4,7,15 / 3,5,6 / 4,5,9 / 2,5,9,12 at a cost of $180 a unit

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

A slow track with chances of showers for the Queen’s birthday holiday.

Moonee Valley Races 14th June 2010
Race 1 – 12.40pm – Plenty of first starters so watch markets closely. No 12 Ruby Royal will be very light with the 3kg claim and has two good runs this preparation. No 6 Sing or Swim has two runs as well and last start just tired late but fought hard. No 8 Sassaro won a trial and has Newitt onboard. No 7 Many Facets was scratched on Saturday at Flemington to run here. A big watch on No 4 Wild Turkey from Mark Kavanagh.

Race 2 – 1.10pm – No 1 Believe N Achieve (special) is in good form and won very impressively last start even though this was in a Fillies race and this is open handicap I believe she can do it again the way she won.. A small rise in weight will be no problem. No 6 Belgietto had two very good first up runs before last start which you can forget. Jumped badly and made heavt contact with another horse then tacked on last but never got going. No 3 Stoneblack from Robert Smerdon was scratched Saturday at Flemington for this race. Any scratchings add in No 2 Bombay Sling for multiples.

Race 3 – 1.40pm - I am going way down to No 11 Glancing who has shown some good things in her first two runs. Her maiden run she got caught behind slow runners after she worked home well and last start also gave a good fight fading at the end. It is a long way from a maiden to handicap but she might surprise at this weight. No 4 Doubt She’s Single two good runs with a win and a third before being spelled. Back after 121 days and will sure to be right in this. No 1 Rue Maple forget her first up run as was slow away and wide and faded in the straight. Last preparation ran good races over the 1000mtrs and on the wet. No 3 Better Be The One is also one to watch as ran against smart horses last preparation and not too far away.

Race 4 – 2.10pm – No 2 Come On Cugat will be much better with Zahara back on board. He will give a nice settled ride from the wide barrier and work through the field patiently for a final go at these. No 7 Costalots last start was over raced in the first part of the race as caught wide trying to cross for the lead and the apprentice pushed on. Form before this was good and with Newitt on board a better choice. No 3 Titch has shown some form in his two runs in Australia, I prefer Noonan the apprentice over Michelle Payne and his 3kg claim makes him very light at 50kgs. No 4 Mr Riggs is sure to be there with Boss on board.

Race 5 – 2.40pm – No 1 Clandon (eachway) was scratched on Saturday at Flemington and is also nominated Thursday at Seymour. She won some good races over 1400 and 1600mtrs last preparation and will be better for the 3kg claim. No 6 Miss Lily Rose was scratched midweek at Sandow, ran a good first race as blew the start before knuckling down and working home well. No 4 Pink Shimmer is racing well and ran a good race last start after being well back.

Race 6 – 3.10pm – No 7 Our Baby Bonus (special) has been a winner for me 4 times I cannot see this stopping even though there are some smart sprinters here. So far she has ticked all boxes and comes from barrier 5 again and drops 5kgs with the claim as well and sure to dictate the race being this light. No 8 Royal Charades will be coming home hard like always, tends to get back and always hits the line hard. No 10 Galbraith will lead, it will fight for the lead from barrier 12 and then hope to hand on. Is light only 50kgs with the claim.

Race 7 – 3.40pm – No 7 Testaguy was scratched on Saturday at Flemington and is also nominated Thursday at Seymour. Is better than last start and forget that run. No 9 Star Pirate a good win last start, good record for distance and wet track and has Boss on board. No 15 Spontaneous is an emergency but if gets a start watch. Ran 4th to Star Pirate but was a really hard run, settled way back, was held up and lost a plate in the run. Will be better from barrier 5 here. No 5 lake Crescent is an interesting runner from Tasmania who won well on debut at Sandow. Has never raced beyond 1400mtrs and breeding suggests this trip is too far and willing to risk.

Race 8 – 4.10pm – No 4 Altitude looked good winning last two starts and with the claim of 3kgs is still light. No 10 Bubble Below ran an excellent race last start after walking out the gates, came home very well to just miss out. No 2 Princess Gisella had a terrible run last start, bumped at the start and unbalanced got stuck on the rails and never got going. She is a much better horse than this run. No 3 Elumino for multiples as Moody is always a threat and this horse wasn’t too far away last start.

Quadrella numbers - 1,4 / 7 / 7,9 / 2,3,4,10 cost $16

Swan Hill Races 13th June 2010
It is a slow track with fine weather so maybe a small upgrade.

Race 1 – 12.00pm – I am going for a first starter No 13 Thor’s Goddess. It hasn’t had a trial but from breeding should sprint okay. No 1 Albert Park Lake from Robert Smerdon has run a trial and finished second. Out of Magic Albert so sure to have speed. Another first starter No 14 Lucidas from Darren Weir will have to be watched though I think will want more distance going on breeding. Of the raced lot No 2 Coodashoodawooda ran an excellent first up race.

Race 2 – 12.35pm – No 1 Kaptain Kosmos is a Viscount and after his okay first up run was put away for 169 days until now. Will be a much better horse for sure now. No 8 Wine and Wickets should be suited to this distance. Breeding suggests to me 1000-1200mtrs and the 1400mtrs is a little stretch which was the case last start. No 7 Third Screen (also nominated Thursday at Seymour) was too far off the pace last start, looked good forst up and give another chance on the wet. No 3 Our Billy Jack (also nominated Thursday at Seymour, Friday at kilmore) is in good hands and a very good jockey on board.

Race 3 – 1.10pm – All these horses I tip should be looking for 1600mtrs or more. No 1 Cierpinski should be looking for this and beyond, Last start made good ground late after a hard run. No 3 Utmost Faith (nominated Thursday at Seymour) also should be better suited at 1600mtrs and last start was closing in on the line. No 6 Brookston Storm being a Niello should look for this trip and more. Was held up before getting clear and made good ground.

Race 4 – 1.45pm – A 4yo and up maiden race, for all the glue pots that haven’t been able to win as a 2 or 3yo. No 5 Just Make It is close to a win and trained and part owned by Darren Weir. Has drawn a terrible barrier but will come in with scratchings. No 2 Desiago is an excellent chance to break his duck. Last start worked home from well back making good ground.

Race 5 – 2.20pm – No 2 Desert Control (nominated Thursday at Seymour) has progressed well each run this preparation. Each race found the line well and will sure to be right in this. No 14 Flawless Gem (nominated Thursday at Seymour) has looked much better last two starts. No 4 Diamonds at Noon has been up for 8 runs and will soon be spelling, has been around the mark. No 13 Mainstay has improved over distance this preparation.

Race 6 – 2.55pm – No 12 – Shewan has looked very good last two winning starts. Is light here and a bigger test but Blevic her dad was a very good 3yo and this distance should be what he wants. No 7 Streaky Fella is racing well and sure to be in this a long way. No 8 Comocean is also running solidly and in very good form. Watch betting on No 2 Golden Honey and No 4 The Catarena.

Race 7 – 3.30pm – No 5 Glaneuse (Special) has taken all before him this preparation. Looks a much more mature horse and a very strong chance to make it 4 wins from 5 runs. No 1 Bird Of Fire is a very honest horse and will be in this all the way. No 7 Montego Bay for multiples.

Race 8 – 4.05pm – I am going to give No 4 Waltzes a chance here as is running well and a Bel Esprit and he could sprint. No 1 King Carnage is a good sprinter but will need to be at his best carrying 59kgs on the slow track by race 8 if it chops up a little. No 9 Blazing Gilbert (nominated Thursday at Seymour) is a lightly raced horse and has speed.

Race 9 – 4.40pm – A horrible race to finish. No 2 Dr Schimell, No 5 Last Orders and No 7 Scardeymac all have a chance I think and watch markets for any money.

Quadrella races 6,7,8,9. I am looking at the moment. 7,8,12 / 5 / 1,4,9 / 2,5,7

Flemington Racing Tips 12th of June 2010, Victoria Australia.

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Flemington Races 12th June 2010
It is a heavy track and showers are forecast so we will be looking for the wet trackers. The jockeys were not happy with Flemington track last week as there were many flat spots where horses tore big chunks out of the track and went flat. It is reported to be from bugs eating the roots of the grass so some horses could again hit spots like this and lose momentum at the worse time.

Race 1 – 11.50am – Not a strong race to open. A few first starters that I don’t think will win as they will probably need more distance looking at the breeding. No 2 Tempest Belle $7.50 has 2 solid runs under her belt, racing is invaluable experience and she fought hard for a gutsy win last start. No 1 Rockabee Miss $5 won on debut 217 days ago and then put away. It was a nice win but well up in weight here. His dad Fastnet Rock won on a slow track on should handle the track. No 10 Storm Burst $4.60 first start was solid before spelling for 140 days, Peter Moody turns out good horses so respect.

Race 2 – 12.25pm – No 7 Gunawati $3 from Mark Kavanagh ran a nice first up race, was last out the gates at Moonee Valley, worked 2 wide to 4th at the turn and solid to the line. Drops 2kgs as well. No 3 Anniversary $2.60 is from Gai Waterhouse and first start in Melbourne. Her win first up at a midweek meet at Kensington was very nice. Raced on the speed and then took off in the straight for an impressive win. Watch markets carefully for any moves. No 1 Jaggers $9, this is a long way from Bendigo and Echuca but his win at Echuca was a very good run. Raced 5 wide in the straight and hit line hard with plenty of toe and a 3kg claim means he will be light at 54kgs.

Race 3 – 1.00pm - No 4 Red Buttons $3.80 has two very solid runs this preparation. Led and dictated the race last start win here at Flemington and drops 4kgs with the claim on that run. From barrier one will again be able to lead. No 7 Definitive $11 could be a huge improver here. If you watch the video of the race at Sandow midweek after straightening was impeded about 4 times in the run to the line and when 200mtrs out jumped a shadow that unbalanced the horse but still got home 2nd only 0.5 length away from the winner. No 2 Savquaw $4 and No 3 Tindal $4.40 both have good chances of filling the multiples.

Race 4 – 1.35pm – No 5 Tan Tat Tess $5 should really be eating up this distance with her breeding. Lat start win showed a glimpse of the talent she should have and hit the line very hard. No 3 Winged Charm $3 won well first up and has 1 win for 1 start. The claim keeps her 0.5kg under last start weight. No 8 Lavia $10 could be the big improver, from breeding should handle the wet and form last preparation was solid against some smart horses. For sure will get back but best work will happen in the straight.

Race 5 – 2.15pm – No 3 Dubleanny (special) is in from $4 to $2.50 is taking all before and this should be the case here as well. I backed her and is my best bet of the day. She hasn’t started on a heavy track yet but her mum Uncanny Lad out of Canny Lad won his only start on a heavy. No 4 Undeniably $3.90 will be a huge improver from last start and you can just forget that run completely. Pulled hard early, raced onto heels, lost a fore-plate and was also galloped on. Form before is very solid and will be in this for sure. No 5 Tan Tat Brav $6 was cast in the gates last start and vetted and passed to run. Put in a bad race and then ran wide and no cover. Forget run and must give another chance as form is much better than this run.

Race 6 – 2.59pm – No 11 Offenders $5.50 is a lightly raced 4yo, has a good second up record and out of Canny Lad so the track no problem you think. The barrier 12 isn’t ideal. No 4 Philda $7.50 is in barrier 18 and will more than likely be scratched and run on Thursday in Seymour. If starts must respect as wet form solid. No 8 Makeadreamcometrue $18 is also nominated for Seymour Thursday, also has good wet track form and distance so respect if starts. No 5 Dr. Doute’s $7.50 hasn’t shown great form the 3 runs this preparation but expect a much better horse here as is much better than the form suggests. If there are a few scratching throw in No 3 Jungle Ruler $6.50 as the old guy is solid on the wet.

Race 7 – 3.39pm – This is another very hard race with plenty of chances. No 8 Fiscal $21 has a nasty barrier 13 but as the distances have got longer is improving as you would expect. Is a Shamardal who won 3 group 1 races 1400-2100mtrs from his only 3 starts and 2 million in prize money so this distance should be what he is looking for. No 5 Far to Go $21 is the same, his dad Golan won 2 group 1 races from only 2 starts from 1400-2400mtrs and close to 2 million in money. No 2 Stoneblack $7.50 is also nominated for Monday at Moonee Valley, is drawn wide here but is running well and a chance if starts. No 1 Star Scream $10 strong form and a Testa Rossa. Interesting runner is No 4 Tully Prince $13 was scratched from midweek Sandow to run here and won well at Cranbourne last start on a heavy track. I am willing to risk the favourite No 7 Vesper $3.20 and is also nominated on Thursday at Seymour. I want to see on the heavy track as his dad never won on one.

Race 8 – 4.19pm – No 6 Reprisal $5.50 from David Hayes is a Galileo and should love the wet and form is very solid. Should be super fit at this stage of his preparation. No 8 Riveted $7 as the distances have gone up so has his form. This is a long way from his last start Casterton win but it was impressive. No 1 Light Vision $7 is also nominated on Monday at Moonee Valley is a consistent horse and form solid on wet tracks. If scratchings No 9 Chase the Sun $13 has also improved with each run as distance has increased. No 4 Old Jock $4.60 seems a little short in this market but watch betting on him.

The quadrella for the day will be a hard one to pick. I am banking on the first leg and Dubleanny as a standout and then see what scratchings bring in the morning. At the moment I am looking at:

Quadrella races 5,6,7,8 my numbers are 3 / 3,4,5,8,11 / 1,2,4,5,8 / 1,4,6,8,9 at a cost of $125 dollars.

Hamilton Races Tuesday 8th June 2010

A heavy 8 track but a fine forecast so maybe a small upgrade.

Race 5 - No 3 Hostile Element is nominated here and Friday at Swan Hill. He has an excellent chance here if starts as he showed some form last start. No 1 Easy Rock Café has run to solid races back from a spell.

Race 6 – No 9 Ingalla Angel from Darren Weir and Jackson Mathews claiming 3kgs has to be watched. The breeding doesn’t look anything special but watch markets carefully. No 11 Moorunda Miss hasn’t shown any outstanding form but you look at her dad, Reset who won 5 races from 5 starts for 800K and her mum wasn’t too shabby it wouldn’t take much to turn it all around. No 3 Letdegoodtimesroll is running okay races and a chance in the multiples.

Race 7 – No 2 Rocky Island looked very good winning last start. He won on a slow track first up in Aug 09 flying home so the wet track should suit. No 1 Perisher Blue last two starts have been solid and the 3kg claim helps a lot. No 4 Schabacle will have to be watched on the markets.

Race 8 – No 5 Miss Moneyeater forget last run as not luck at all and was working to the line well late. No 3 Green Rises is running solid races in same sort of race. No 9 Outback Johnny has excellent wet track form and also good second up form so respect.

Race 9 – No 2 Flaming Sambuca is an old guy but running well and another chance to grab a win. No 1 Irish High King has a good first up record and has been close to winning over this distance. No 2 Rammutt from Luke Oliver has been scratched on the 31st and 1st I think looking for a track not too heavy. Won’t have better luck here.

Race 10 – No 1 Count Royal is also nominated Thursday at Geelong and Friday at Swan Hill. Is running very well and a chance with the 2kg claim. No 4 Tezza’s Way is a 6 year old with only two starts. His last start win was very nice how he hit the line and fought hard. No 6 Dark Flash from Paddy Payne found the line well a few times last start and here second up with an okay record at this.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Seymour Horse Racing

Race 1. 11.01am - There are ten first starters in this race. Off the unraced lot. No 1 Annlea is out of Canny Lad and he won 7 of his first 10 starts. Won 2 times over 900mtrs, 2 times at 1000mtrs then going on to win the Golden Slipper and 2million in prize money in 15 starts. So Annlea should have speed. No 7 Ruby Royal jumped terribly then raced to the lead and set a very fast tempo. Faded in the straight but fought to hold 2nd. No 9 Spooked should have the speed as her dad did. Will probably be doing best work late though looking for 1200mtrs or more.

Race 2 11.33am – No 7 Seguro is also nominated to run at Geelong Thursday. This horse hasn’t lived up to expectations. Ran an excellent race against Kidnapped over 1400mtrs. Won a trial on the 31st of May over 990mtrs by 6 lengths. No 4 Highly Regarded was scratched from a much harder race at Flemington on Saturday. No 1 Canna I would prefer to see over something shorter, the 1100 – 1200mtrs. No 1 Canna could go well fresh but would like to see him over something shorter at this stage.

Race 3. 12.03pm – No 5 Kash Spot ran a good race first up. Fought really hard to finish second and will be much better for this run. No 4 Dubai Storm looked a lot better returning from a spell. Shared the lead and fought hard to the post and will be much better for this run. No 6 Passion of Fire a few good runs last preparation and here first up could be right in this.

Race 4. 12.39pm – No 2 Gael Force three runs back this preparation and last start won well hitting the line hard. No 5 Mr Smile if the track is slow on heavy will come right into this. No 1 Bold Dazzler, you can forget his last start as he pulled hard and raced terribly. Before this was solid and the 2kg claim helps a lot.

Race 5. 1.15pm – No 5 Dixie Doll has been scratched on the 24th and 25th and held for this so the trainer must give her a good chance here. She is racing well. No 1 Count Cool is 5 runs back this preparation and running solid races. Was freshened and will sure to be right in this. No 2 Alfiler is a Pins horse and may be a big improver over this distance.

Race 6. 1.55pm – No 6 Flo’s Bo has had a good break since he faded last start. Last preparation ran good races over the distance and expect him to be right here. No 1 Flash Kid is a very consistent horse. I like that Griffiths the trainer has confidence to keep top jockey Zahara on board carrying the 59kgs. No 4 Scarlet Cross didn’t like the slow track last start and will lead and give them something to chase here.

Race 7. 2.30pm – No 3 Hussandthem was scratched on the 24th and if you go back to his second up race run and the way he won that race he should blow these away. No 5 Elite Spy last two starts were solid hot outs and with the claim of 2kgs will be a chance. No 1 Lucasam is nominated for Geelong Thursday as well. If he runs he is sure to be right in this as an honest horse.

Race 8. 3.06pm – No 1 Portland changed hands from the Peter Moody camp to current Jennifer Williams. She was meant to be something special but failed in the Group 1 Coolmore and Listed Hilton International. She won a barrier trial on the 26th of May in good time over 900mtrs so expect a good showing here. No 6 Mythical Spirit and No 5 Mistry are both nominated for Betfair Park on Wednesday in a 30K race, Mistry will want it slow or heavy at least. No 7 Rachine failed on the heavy track last start so forget. If the track is dead or better a big chance.

Race 9. 3.42pm – No 16 Noble Romeo is nominated Thursday as well and an emergency here. If he gets a start he will be a chance in this for sure. No 1 Star of Galilee is also nominated for Thursday, his last start he was off the track all the way and fought hard to the line, very gutsy. No 8 Crozzle is running well. Last start over raced and also hit the running rail about 1000mtrs out. She is better than that run.

Race 10. 4.20pm – No 13 Mousseline is well bred and looked better forst run back this spell. This is the sort of distance and more that she will want. No 5 Champagne Love is nominated here and Wednesday at Betfair Park. Is a chance if starts here at this distance. No 2 Spirit of Kintyre is nominated here also Wednesday and Thursday. Will need to be at his best here at this weight.

Ballarat Racing Victoria Australia 6th of June 2010. Race 1

My tips were:

Race 1. 12.15pm – No 1 Bach come across from Sydney and his only start in Victoria settled on the pace and fought hard to finish second. Will be better for the hit out. No 8 Third Screen looked very good in his first race run at Mildura. Led on the rails all the way before being headed 75mtrs out and fought hard to stay second. No 3 Curata Dream will be more mature now coming back from his first spell. Finished his races off very well his first preparation. Has winkers off for the first time. No 7 Ripleys ran two very good races first preparation before failing on a heavy track and being spelled.

The results.

Race 1 – The winning numbers were, 1st 3 paid $7.50, 2nd 7 paid $1.90 and 3rd 8 paid $1.90. The 4 horse boxed quinella cost $6 and paid $22.70 and the 4 horse boxed trifecta cost $24 and paid $204.20. A good way to start the day.

Sale Races 6th June 2010

Race 1. 12.35pm – No 13 Xaar Best is a very interesting runner. Has changed trainers after her first two races starts. Both of those run were solid and now coming back from a 370 day break. Only finished ¾ a length off The Woodsman who is a handy horse now. Didn’t do anything amazing at trial on the 3rd of May over 1000mtrs but will be better over this distance. No 10 Amorous Lady ran a good race last start being off the track the whole way but fought hard to the line. No 5 Georgealmighty ran a solid race last start and the extra metres looks to suit.

Race 2. 1.10pm – No 3 Magic Ice

Race 3. 1.45pm – No 1 Columbus Line was put straight into a 70K race first up and failed then was put away for 148 days. Has had 3 trials in May and won his last in decent time so expect a very forward showing. His dad Fastnet Rack had plenty of toe. No 6 Ripa Artois has had two trials and won his last. His dad Bel Esprit won his first two races over 1000mtrs.

Race 4. 2.20pm – No 6 Deep Heat come up against some good horses his first preparation. His forst run back was a solid hit out and this race looks pretty weak. Others for multiple bets No 13 Persian Review and No 12 Zellemsee

Race 5. 2.57pm – No1 Given Sunday is from Tasmania having his first start in Victoria. An excellent record of 10 starts for 4 wins, 4 seconds and 1 third. No 8 Jagger Crow ran solid races last preparation and was finishing most of them off very well. Has won first up so respect. No 2 Mr Speed Star forget his last start come back from a 2 year break and raced greenly. Is a better horse than that run.

Race 6. 3.32pm – No 9 No Dispute has come back from the spell well and his last start win was good hittig the line hard winning by 5 lengths. No 14 Prinsom finished second to No Dispute and was a gutsy run fighting all the way and drops 3kgs here. No 10 Pablo’s Pick for multiples.

Race 7. 4.12pm – No 6 The Phoenician will be fully fit now and has been around the mark. No 5 Pepin Hoaks has runs 2 solid races back from the spell, just the distance a query. No 7 Court Ya 3 runs this preparation have all been solid and a chance.

Ballarat Races 6th June 2010

The track is slow but a weather forecast of showers so it may be downgraded. I will give suggestions for each race as I know the every day punter loves to have a bet in most races. Watch the markets in the races and see where the money is going.

Race 1. 12.15pm – No 1 Bach come across from Sydney and his only start in Victoria settled on the pace and fought hard to finish second.

Race 2. 12.50pm – No 4 Savaging has only had 3 race starts, two in the country at Geelong and Ballarat. The second run at Ballarat was nice the way he finished the race off. He was then sent to town to Caulfied and ran in the listed Gothic 100K race as a maiden. He ran a heck of a race only finishing 2.1 lengths off Kidnapped. Rider lost his whip about 300mtrs out and had to hands and heels to the line. No 8 Kouklamou is 5 runs back this preparation. Has been freshened and has been improving with each run. Her last start she really fought hard over 1300mtrs to just go down. No 5 Bella Elegante will be a chance for the multiple punters.

Race 3. 1.25pm – No 9 Little Tycoon is flying at the moment. Is hitting the line very hard and with Hall riding and the sting out of the track will be hard to beat. No 8 Houlgate with Newitt on board has been just getting beaten over 1300mtrs last two starts. Newitt will be able to get her to sleep and then hopefully finish off strong. No 1 Bold Image can handle the wet and the distance not a problem. Having Rawiller on board again a bonus.

Race 4. 2.00pm – No 2 Athenian Girl won well on the all weather Geelong track last start. Failed at Ballarat first start but must respect on the last run and the way she hit the line. No 5 Poison Ivy from David Hayes, this stable is out of form but it could have something to cheer about here. She does have finishing speed and her first up run from a spell wasn’t so bad against the upcoming and talented Base owned by Lloyd Williams. No 3 Gothic Paris won well on debut at Pakenham beating Houlgate who is running in race 2.

Race 5. 2.35pm – No 1 Carnegie Dan is up in weight but looks a much better horse back from the spell. Ran some solid races his first preparation and is sure to be much fitter here. No 2 Clang and Bang is into his 8th start and probably last of this preparation. Is racing very consistently and with Mathews claiming 3kgs will be in the finish again. No 7 Dear Prudence ran decent races on the wet last preparation and first up run was solid.

Race 6. 3.10pm – No 7 Kokoda Spirit is a lightly raced 4 year old. Only 3 starts for a win and 2 seconds. Handles the wet and is weighted well for this. No 2 Golden Image has two solid runs under his belt this preparation. He is finding the line well and McCabe claiming 2kgs helps a lot. No 3 Dom Perion ran a good trial against Viking Turf Belle on the 17th of May so expect her to be forward.

Race 7. 3.50pm – No 14 Rum Jungle hasn’t set the world on fire with her first 5 starts. Is first up from a spell and the sting out of the ground will suit. Could surprise at odds. No 3 ST Roper has walked out of the gates last two starts, he is finishing his races off well and just needs to get his jump right and will be a threat. No 4 Divine Force has four very solid runs this preparation and will again be in this.

Race 8. 4.28pm – No 14 Rubinacci has a terrible barrier (17) but with Hall on board hopefully will get her to a nice position midfield before a strong finish. No 10 Banri Maeve was beaten by Rubinacci last start. Meets her 2.5kgs better here and was way back before coming wide hitting the line hard the last 150 mtrs. No 3 Even Adam ran a very good race against Distillery, not a lot of recovery time but was finishing strong.

Flemington Race 8 - Eugene Gorman Handicap 1800m

My tips were:

Race 8 – No 3 Tinamou $6 has an excellent chance of making it 3 in a row. Last two wins have been impressive and with Noonan claiming 3kgs only carrying 53kgs. No 1 Red Buttons $3.50 ran a big race first up from a spell. Fought hard all the way to just go down. No 13 Anudjawan $10 is an interesting runner. Drops a whopping 5kgs to 53kgs and last start win was a ripper at Bendigo. Was slow away, settled well back came 5 wide to the turn and really flew last 200mtrs. Has to be a threat at the weight.

No 1 Red Buttons led all the way to win $4.80. It was a big run and held off No 3 Tinamou $1.80. In third was No 13 Anudjawan $2.10.

The boxed quinella paid $9.30 for the $3 investment. The boxed trifecta paid $112 for the $6 investment.

Flemington Race 7 - Ken Cox Handicap 2000m

My tips were:

Race 7 – No 10 Deliver the Dream $9.50 won well last start and is racing well. Drops from 58kgs to 53kgs and Boss on board all looks good. No 1 Avienus $7.50 is hard to get off as she has won 2 times for us her last 3 starts. She is up in weight and distance but is in top form. No 3 Marchelle Belle $8 took it to Avienus last start before just being edged out. Will carry the same weight as Hill claims 3kgs and has won up to 2100mtrs.

What a blow out this race was. The track was down graded straight after this race to a slow 7. The winner Picalero paid $33.60 & $7.60, 2nd Pray For me $3.70 and 3rd Shylock’s Daughter $3.40. The bookies will be very happy.

Deliver The Dream finished finished 12th 18.4 lengths away, took up the running and lead but weakened. Avienus ran on from back in the field to finish 4th to finish 4.3 lengths away. No 3 Marchelle Belle finished 10th 14.9 lengths off the leader, didn’t get into the race at all.

Flemington Race 6 - David Bourke Provincial Plate 1600m

My tips were:

Race 6 – No 7 Lord Pyrus $4.60 finishes races off flying and will be sure to coming home strong with only 53kgs. From Barrier two should get a nice sit and if a split in the straight comes will fly away. No 11 Express Star $41 won impressively last start. It was only at Casterton but carried 58kgs to victory in good time and here only 53.5kgs. No 1 Leica Larrikin $8 is carrying 59kgs but carries big weights well and is flying at the moment.

No 1 Leica Larrikin won again fighting hard carrying a big weight. There was money as he only drifted $1 in the markets. This is a class horse and showed this again here paying very nicely $7.50. No 11 Express Star stepped up well and was in the mix a long way before weakening at the end finishing 1.6 lengths away in 6th. No 7 Lord Pyrus was 6th on the rail and never got into the race finishing 8th 3.6 lengths away. He was supported late from $4 to $3.60.

Flemington Race 5 - All Victorian Sprint Series Heat 4 1200m

My Tips were:

Race 5 – No 10 Elusive Touch $3.10 was brought across from Sydney and ran an excellent race against the smart Captain Coltish finishing 1 ½ lengths away. Was put away for 141 days and is back now. Watch betting moves. No 3 Arch Symbol $2.90 has an excellent record and hardly ever puts in a bad race. Is very light with Lovelock-Wiggans claiming 3kgs. No 4 Oreilly’s Clock $16 has an okay first up record and also if the track gets downgraded will suit even more.

No 10 Elusive Touch ran a very good race first up. On the pace and fought hard for the win paying $2.50 on the tote. Fixed odds yesterday were $3.10. Its run against Captain Coltish suggested it was going to be a smart horse. No 3 Arch Symbol was there for a long way on the pace but faded to finish 4th 3.4 lengths away. No 4 O’Reilly’s Clock was hitting the line very hard and finished 3rd only 1.2 lengths away and paying $2.90 the place.

Flemington Race 4 - BANJO PATERSON SERIES HT2 2500m

My tips were:

Race 4 – No 2 Come On Cugat $6 is super fit and last start was run over the top of late in the 3200mtr race. Is only up 1kg and sure to be out the front and giving them something to chase. No 1 Light Vision $9, Smerdon is confident he can carry the 59kgs as he has engaged Nicholas Hall to ride and not an apprentice. No 7 Zoomin $7.50 has only had 2 starts since coming from NZ and last start was doing best late in the race.

Robert Smerdon and his super consistent Black and Bent won again. Was well supported and is proving to not only be a very good hurdler but also handy on the flat. This is 6 wins from 7 starts in a row now over the flat and jumps and we have been on him most of the time. His other runner No 2 Come On Cugat ran 3rd 1.9 lengths away, paying $2.20 was in it but faded late. No 1 Light Vision was scratched. No 7 Zoomin was in the mix but just not good enough finishing 7th 4.4 lengths away.

Fleminton Races Race 3 - GEOFFREY LEVETT 3YOF 0-82 HCP 1100m

My tips were:

Race 3 – No 3 Cinecitta $5 is so close to putting it all together. Looks like a classy horse but has been doing small things wrong. No 4 Sunday Rose $3.80 from Bart Cummings first up jumped terribly but finished off well and last start was off the track most the way but still finished strongly. No 7 Head Over Heels $11 is a better horse than the last two starts have suggested.

No 4 Sunday Rose was strong in the markets from opening and won paying $2.70. No 3 Cinecitta was disappointing and was never supported in the ring and drifted out to $6, finished 10th 6 lengths away. No 7 head Over Heels was supported in the ring in form $10 to $8.50 but also didn’t run as well as expected, finished 5th 4 lengths away.

Flemington Races Race 2 -BRIAN BEATTIE 3YO HCP 1400m

My tips were:

Race 2 – No 1 Beyond Pardon $3.60 will make these chase him down. Is sure to be up on the lead and make it a genuine paced race. No 10 State Grade $11 comes into this with good form and very light at 53kgs. No 2 Doubtful Jack $3.80 ran a nice second up race, if can sit off the pace and get a nice cart into the race a chance.

The money came for No 2 Doubtful Jack late and it was right as he won paying $3.50. Was backed from $3.8 to $3.5 and got the perfect run as I thought and won impressively. No 10 State Grade my outsider ran a huge race to run second paying $4.50. Third was No 1 Beyond Pardon who might be a little tired and need a spell.

The quinella paid $34.30 for a $3 investment. A boxed trifecta paid $185 for a $6 investment.

Flemington Races Race 1 - VON COSTA DE HERO 2YO HCP 1000m

My tips for race 1 were:

Race 1 – No 1 Liveandletdie $1.90 won well on debut at Bendigo. He looks like a good horse in the making and the way he finished that race off has to make him hard to beat. No 5 Oregon Spirit $7.50 will have to be watched. Is a Bel Esprit and he won over the 1000mtrs in the Group 2 Maribyrnong, Three Group 3’s over a 1000mtrs. No 8 Indulgent $13 has three excellent runs under her belt and is super light here only carrying 52.5kgs. No 2 Columbus $6.50 is well bred but will probably need it a little longer, at least 1100 – 1400mtrs as a two year old like his awesome dad.

No 2 Columbus won impressively paying $7.80 and has lived up to the 1.2 million dollar purchase price. This is a horse to follow for the future. No 1 Liveandletlive did get caught in a little traffic but had every chance and found the winner just too good to finish second. No 5 Oregon Spirit ran third paying $3.30 the place and will also be one to watch.

Flemington Races 5th of June 2010

Back to the home of racing. I love this track and wish I could be there. I hope to steer us in the right direction for the day. All times are Victoria, Australia time.

Race 1 12.00pm – No 1 Liveandletdie $1.90 won well on debut at Bendigo. No 10 State Grade $11 comes into this with good form and very light at 53kgs. No 2 Doubtful Jack $3.80 ran a nice second up race, if can sit off the pace and get a nice cart into the race a chance.

Race 3 01.10pm– No 3 Cinecitta $5 is so close to putting it all together. Looks like a classy horse but has been doing small things wrong. No 4 Sunday Rose $3.80 from Bart Cummings first up jumped terribly but finished off well and last start was off the track most the way but still finished strongly. Race 4 o1.45pm– No 2 Come On Cugat $6 is super fit and last start was run over the top of late in the 3200mtr race.

Race 5 02.25pm– No 10 Elusive Touch $3.10 was brought across from Sydney and ran an excellent race against the smart Captain Coltish finishing 1 ½ lengths away.

Race 6 03.10pm– No 7 Lord Pyrus $4.60 finishes races off flying and will be sure to coming home strong with only 53kgs.

Race 7 03.50pm– No 10 Deliver the Dream $9.50 won well last start and is racing well.

Race 8 04.26pm– No 3 Tinamou $6 has an excellent chance of making it 3 in a row.
