Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1600mtrs 3yo 0 – 82 Handicap – 12.35pm

A nice 3yo race to start the day here and a few are nominated this Saturday as well. No 1 Collar $3 if starts will take some beating looking at his last start. It was a beautiful ride by Hall and the horse had plenty in the tank late and will run the mile out. No 5 Meethaq $2.80 didn’t have a lot of luck against Collar last start. Got caught worse than midfield and in traffic and could not get clear running until 25omtrs out. Did flatten out well late and looks like will find the mile well. No 6 Salter $9 will be doing his best work late, gets back a little but usually finds the line strongly and is a light weight chance. No 7 Supreme Warrior $11 steps up after a strong maiden win last start. It was a good front running win and Nikolic won’t lave anything in the tank.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo Debutants Stakes (Listed SW) – 01.10pm

This is hard, a few are unseen and others have trialed. I have watched all the trials and markets are going to be a good guide. No 13 Princeton Miss $2.80 is the current favourite after a strong trial win. Won by 8 lengths and was not over exerted. Does look a nice horse. No 4 Rolling Zone $4 is next in markets. Has a run under the belt and did find the line well after being stuck in traffic until a furlong to go. No 3 Planet Voyage $5.50 I have already backed him. He is well bred and dad was very smart and mum not so bad either. His trial win was solid, looked well settled and I have heard a few good things. I do think will be better suited around the 1200 – 1400mtrs but I expect a forward showing here. No 9 Yellow Jersey $7.50 is another I like the breeding. Dad a smart horse and mum was a very handy Perth horse that won the Hareeba and Sangster. Sure to be better over further but may surprise here.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.45pm

No 2 Bolisimo Miss $2.80
returns here and gives the boys some weight but she is smart. Last preparation she was still green and won all her three races, sure to be better schooled and I look forward to seeing her race again. No 4 The Counterfeiter $7 may push for the lead here, if jumps I am sure will cross and try and dictate terms. Has two good trials coming into this. No 1 Rockshaft $8 returns here and has been gelded over the spell. Markets are going to be a good guide here of where he is at. No 9 Halle Rocks $6 an impressive debut winner in an easy maiden race but looked strong. Multiple players No 3 Vatican $4.20 is still a maiden after 8 starts but watch his runs this preparation as not so bad. Finished 4 lengths off Sepoy in the Vain Stakes and 2 lengths off Golden Archer the McNeil.

Race 4 – 2000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.20pm

This is a hard race for me. No 3 Keep Cool $8 has been racing well this preparation and should run this out strongly. No 9 Cosmonaut $3 if starts must respect. Last start at MV did too much work and led a long way. Returned from a long spell where he was gelded and had surgery for bone chips. No 4 Ulundi $3.90 has hardly put a foot wrong this preparation and racing well. No 2 Finiguerra $8 has never been out of the money in 7 starts and sure to run a bold race.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.00pm

After going over the form and then looking at the markets I agree No 8 Excluded $1.90 should be the favourite but is a little short. I do think he is a good few lengths better than these but he may not start and go onto the Seymour Cup on Sunday. No 10 Navillus Superman $13 also nominated for the SC and only been over the mile once for a good run. No 11 AbsolutelyAwsome $8 don’t discard as has run decent races against some smart horses in much harder races. No 1 Eraset $10 also nominated for the SC, the worry here is the weight. If scratching throw in No 5 Happy Trails $8.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies Thousand Guineas (Group1 Open SW) – 03.40pm

It is hard to see No 8 Alantic Jewel $1.55 being beaten here. I backed her a while back and the odds were not a lot better than this. Her hardest test to date but the way she won last start was wow! She drops 2.5kgs and she looks a nice horse in the making. No 2 Hallowell Belle $11 has been racing well. First time over the mile last start a good run and home track here. No 1 Mosheen $5.50 looked smart wining last start, will be charging home hard for sure. No 11 Sharnee Rose $17 a big run last start, missed the jump and settled last. Was still last at the turn and really come into it well out wide, a place chance for sure.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 4yo & up Mares RT Classic (Listed Open SW) – 04.20pm

No 1 Lady Lynette $3.20
looks good this preparation. Gets out to the mile and on current form a big threat. No 17 Yavanna $9 has returned from the spell looking a nice horse. Both runs have been good and last start win was away slowly and got her head up a bit. Came wide and gathered them up about 100mtrs out hands and heels only, looked nice winning. No 9 Gail $21 first two runs back from the spell not great but if she is right she will give this a shake at odds. No 11 So Pristine $8 keep an eye for support, has form in NZ but failed to show in Australia.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs Handicap – 05.00pm

An open race and markets show this being $6.50 the field. Sydneysider No 8 Top Drop $6.50 I have watched about 8 races of his and he goes well. Last start a good win returning from the spell. Did try and lay in but did flatten out nicely and if handles the wrong way of going should be a threat. No 6 Facile Tiger $7.50 this Queenslander came down and ran a solid first race in Victoria. Did a bit of work early and if has trained on and settles a little better a chance for me. No 12 Cascabel $13 goes well fresh and at the track and value for multiple players. No 5 Soul $7 has just not gone on with the potential he showed in his first preparation. No doubt he has talent and it is there somewhere and respect.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

The mighty Black Caviar returns today and also a few other smart horses getting around. Let’s see if we can a few winners on top.

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo Colts & Geldings Handicap – 11.30am

Only six starters here with the scratching but should be a good race. I really don’t know who is going to take the lead here. No 2 Whitlam $4 returned with a good win in an easy race at Bendigo. But what I like is the way he found the line, looks a better schooled horse and top jockey gets on top. No 1 Adamantium $3.30 a good run at MV lat start, was slowly away and got into traffic, had to get off heels and when clear flattened out well. No 5 American Dream $3 was well supported on debut and the punters may have worried a little when he bucked just after jumping, he was very green and laid in down the straight. Did hit the line full of running for a strong win. First 4 players No 4 Revitalise $3.80.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies Thoroughbred Club Stakes (Group 3 SW) – 12.10pm

No 6 The Fairy’s Kiss $4.60 on debut ran a decent race against Mosheen and was spelled, returned and both runs this preparation shows she could be a handy little horse in the making for me. Last start it was an easy race at Seymour but the way she won. Froggy Newitt didn’t touch her until around 300mtrs out and gave her a little shake and she went 3 lengths in front and held that easing down to the line. No 2 Hollyweird $4.60 returns to Melbourne for some spring action and last start a good run against smart Kurata Queen. Was back near last and worked home well in the straight, not quick acceleration but slowly flattened out hitting the line well. No 3 Platelet $4.40 hasn’t put a foot wrong since starting racing, she is sure to be around the finish. No 1 Emerald Downs $3.80 you can find excuses for her last two starts, watch those races and you will see she did a few things wrong or had bad luck. She has talent and if it is all together a threat.

Race 3 – 2400mtrs Herbert Power Stakes Quality Handicap (Group 2) – 12.45pm

A nice staying race here and a few of the international horses are stepping out for their first runs. No 13 Tanby $3.70 has really improved so much in his short career to date. There is no doubt he will be absolutely primed for this. No 14 Shewan $4.40 has 3 runs under the belt and two were rippers and the other he lost a plate. Last start a solid run as was back in traffic and didn’t get clear ground until about 200mtrs out and then the jockey dropped his whip, he looks a handy stayer in the making. No 10 Lopov $41 (I had $250 each way @ 50)/1) is a big outsider for me. I watched about 10 different races of his and he can put a good foot forward. His only start past 10 furlongs was here and was a win. Last start I have watched this race a few times and he ran a solid race. No 6 Macedonian $11 was a long way back and a lot of traffic last start, not a lot was asked from him and the more metres will be better suited.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Schillaci Stakes (Group 2 WFA) – 01.20pm

Here we have a great race named after that beautiful grey gelding Schillaci. The super mare No 6 Black Caviar $1.06 is at unbackable odds returning from her spell. She is going for her 7th group 1 race in a row and The Melbourne Cup may stop a nation but tomorrow I can tell you there are going to be many people watching this race, having a BBQ or meeting at the pub, this horse has captured Australian’s hearts. She will equal the mighty Phar Laps record of 14 city wins in a row. If you get the chance watch this amazing horse in action. No 9 Karuta Queen $14 is light and will lead but is going to be no match for the great mare no matter what her trainer thinks. No 5 Ra Ikane $71 could be a multiple chance at nice odds. Debut win impressed before failing in the city. Returns and if right could be a place chance for sure. No 2 Stirling Grove $21 didn’t have a lot of luck first up from the spell and another multiple chance.

Race 5 – 2000mtrs 3yo & up Caulfield Stakes (Group 1 WFA) – 02.00pm

A tough Caulfield Stakes for me. A few of these are going to be primed for this. No 4 At First Sight $4.80 hasn’t raced for 3 weeks since a very good run against Caulfield Cup favourite December Draw. Does go up in weight at open WFA but can carry it and will be absolutely ripped for this. No 7 Lion Tamer $3 returned from a long spell with a good run in NZ then across to Victoria and a solid win here at Caulfield and a big threat on that form. No 8 Playing God $11 is a WA horse and have to respect as has not put a foot wrong this preparation. No 3 Mighty High $11 an international with a decent first up run and is sure to be better for that race. No 5 Alcopop $7, is this the Alcopop of old returned. Has looked much better this preparation.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs Toorak Handicap (Group1) – 02.40pm
What an open race with a good 6 genuine chances here. No 6 King’s Rose $4.80 has two Australian starts for two wins. Last start a gutsy win, just dig deep and found something and sure to do again and the 2kg drop a help. Call me sentimental but No 4 Dao Dao $21 gets Darren Beadman back on board here. He rode Dao Dao back in 2006 to his first two wins, returned April 09 for another win on top, then a second in April 2010 in the George Ryder, so 4 starts for 3 wins and a second. This horse goes well second up and last start was a good run as was wide from about the 1000mtrs in. No 9 Torio’s Quest $8.50 is a nice horse from NSW country trainer Partelle. Won the Queensland Guineas and then spelled and returned with a solid run over 1300mtrs, markets will be a guide. No 1 King Mufhasa $12 is racing well and if right will run a heck of a race.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 3yo Caulfield Guineas (Group 1 Open SW) – 03.20pm

This is an exciting 3yo race and some nice horses going around here. No 2 Helmet $2.45 his Caulfield prelude win was very impressive. Go and watch this race and you will see what I mean. No 3 Smart Missile $3.20 has a lot of talent and is still a young frustrating colt. Forget last start and Corey Brown gets on top, if this horse puts it all together we should have one heck of a race here. No 1 Manawanui $6 his record speaks for itself, but I see the other two just a few lengths ahead of him. For multiple players No 4 Chase The Rainbow $8.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs 4yo & up Mares (Listed Race Open SW) – 04.00pm

No 7 Celts $ 7
has only been to Melbourne once before and that was down the straight at Flemington. I think better suited to the bend and going the opposite way could be a worry I am sure Snowden has her well schooled. She does have a nice turn of foot and to me a chance. No 5 Valentine Miss $2.80 for sure is the one to beat. Has been racing very well in much harder races and doing very well. No 2 Gybe $7 another Sydney horse with good form and have to respect and watch markets. No 4 Panipique $12 for multiples.

Race 9 – 1400mtrs Handicap – 04.40pm

I think No 4 Testa My Patience $3.30 is nearly back to his best. Both starts this preparation has excuses and still ran big races. If has no problems will be very hard to beat. No 14 Studley Park $5 the lightly raced Zabeel gelding. If starts here respect and watch markets for support. No 15 Too Deadly $12 a decent first up run from the spell, is light and should be working home hard late. Multiples No 6 Utah Saints $4.80.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 7th October 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips

Race 1 – 1500mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (Apprentice Jockeys only SW) – 06.45pm

A maiden to start the night off. No 10 Torah a good first up run back from the spell. Will be better suited here over more distance but she does get back and may need a little luck down the straight. No 7 Charmarama also returned with a good run back from the spell. Found the line well late and the extra metres and further should suit better. No 6 Tyro Goddess last two starts have been fair and with the 3kg claim a good help and a multiple chance for players. No 3 Sands Like a Party also for multiple players. Kent’s first starter No 4 Welcome Advice you will just have to watch markets.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 07.15pm

No 1 Classic Elle
does go up a heap in weight here after a decent run in the group 3 Guineas Prelude as she did a bit wrong early on in the race and also took a big bump about 350mtrs out, flattened out well late. No 2 Rose Pattern is well bred and went across to Sydney after her debut win at Sale to tackle a listed race at Rosehill and ran a good race. Led at a genuine pace and fought hard all the way. No 4 Twilighting won well last start in an easy maiden, was backed from $9 into $3.40 and when stewards asked about the much improved performance the trainer could offer no reason. Obviously some knew the horse had improved going by the markets. Multiple players No 7 Trading Halt.

Race 3 – 3000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 07.45pm

This is a very average staying race. No 1 Gotta Take Care returns to flat racing after the last two over hurdles. Weir has him going really well at the moment and looks the best to me by far. No 5 Crafty Cruiser has been up a long time but has two wins from as many starts at the distance and going well. No 3 Madaba Flyer I have watched a few of his races earlier on and can run a good race. Symons will need to put him to sleep and get a good sit to run the distance out I think.

Race 4 – 955mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 08.15pm

This is a tough race over the short scamper with plenty that have a genuine chance. No 8 No Means Go returns from a spell and looks great from what I have heard. I watched the trial run and he didn’t do a lot but wasn’t pushed either. He does have a good turn of foot and will definitely be charging home hard. No 4 Alpha Proxima goes well here and first up was a solid run. No 5 Alittlevolcanic is another with a good record at the track, has been freshened and will be one of the leaders from this barrier. No 7 Netra drops back in class here and I think will go a lot better against these.

Race 5 – 2040mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Handicap – 08.45pm

No 1 Dance With Her
even though the big weight you know she will run a big race as she loves this track and distance. She has been racing since February and hardly put a foot wrong those 16 starts. I hope she wins and goes to the paddock for a well deserved rest soon. No 7 Model To Nite is another racing well this preparation. First time over 10 furlongs but should run out the distance. No 5 White Yard will need this or further and is better than last few starts suggest. No 5 Placement on her day she can run a very good race, just go back and watch her runs in October last year.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 09.15pm

No 8 La Praline
is a nice little mare and her first up run was little flat. Has been freshened and will more than likely lead here. No 10 Bellantina returned with a good win from the spell. Won well finding the line full of running and a chance on that form. No 3 Verdasco is sure to be fit as has been in work a while, does find the line well. For multiples No 4 Melete.

Race 7 – 2040mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 09.45pm

No 4 Sunset Café
will get better with distance; will be fit and firing for sure. No 9 Almindoro is another that should appreciate the step up in distance and forgive last start as is better than that and did get his tongue over the bit before jumping. They have put the tongue tie on here. No 6 Savoy both Australian runs have been good and give another chance for multiples. Also No 1 Finiguerra is racing well.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 10.15pm

No 9 Invincible You
has returned and looked good from the spell, last start a good win after being a little tardy early. Really flattened out well late and out to the mile and further will suit. No 4 Another Prelate will get back but sure to be charging home late. Emergencies No 11 Cosmic Causeway is light with the claim and if starts respect. No 12 Sea Galleon will want this and further and a good win returning from the spell.
