Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 1st February 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 1st February 2011

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate – 01.00pm

No 2 Maftoon
should go well fresh as his dad Commands won over 1100mtrs 3 times his first 4 runs, his mum She’s God’s Gift was a handy Perth sprinter so I expect a forward showing. No 4 Barely Anytime will probably want it a little longer but will be working home well late on breeding. No 6 Divine Ambition was disappointing on debut, should be better as just looked underdone and the run will have done her good. No 5 Confederate Rose on breeding will be looking for more distance and a horse to follow as it steps up to 1400mtrs and more I think. No 3 Shadow in the Sky will want more distance for me, follow as he steps up in distance.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs Maiden Plate – 01.30pm

No 8 Great Impressions
has come back from a 162 day spell looking better, was finding the line well late 2nd up and should have trained on since then. No 8 Speargun I would give a chance as his first start he was hampered at the start when another horse shifted out at the start and unbalanced him, never got going. A good trainer and give a chance. No 1 Cash Card is a 6yo having his first race start, out of Guiscard who was a reasonable sprinter and ran some good races at listed and group level including a good 4th in the G1 Newmarket to Toledo. No 3 Danspec has two good runs this preparation but will need to find a yard or two.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs Maiden Plate – 02.00pm

No 10 Aspen Nikita
returned with a very good run after 222 day spell getting well back and was still 11th until the 400mtrs, angled 3 wide and at the 200mtrs was chopped out of a run but found the line full of running late. No 6 Pursuit of Glory has two 2nds in a row, will need to find a few yards of speed as times nothing flash but is racing well. No 9 Hardcourt has been in work a while, will be better for his last run and also blinkers go on for the first time, a good trainer and keep safe. No 3 Kawarau Falls out of Diatribe could go well first up, watch markets for any moves.

Race 4 – 1700mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap - 01.30pm

No 6 Desiago
(Nom Thurs) has two runs back this preparation, will appreciate the extra metres and the 3kg claim makes him very light. No 1 Dashatin not a bad horse and been around in some harder races, drops back in class but up in weight. No 5 Devil’s Party (Nom Thurs Fri Sat) last two starts she was out of her depth, back to this class will give a better performance. No 3 Flash Kid is racing very well but this distance will test him.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate – 03.00pm

No 10 Yukona
returned from a long 341 day spell with a solid run, sat up on the lead before weakening, looked like she needed that run and will be much better here. No 3 Guntur made a nice debut here at the track. Worked into the race well and hit the lead before being run down, fought hard and she will be much better for that run. No 11 Howmuchforcash is having her first race start and hard to know how forward she is, on breeding could run well fresh but watch markets closely. No 1 Aypebe returns from a long break, has had a change of trainer and is trained on the track so could go well fresh, watch markets for any moves.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 03.30pm

This is a hard race with 5 horses that I think have a chance of winning. No 5 Athenian Girl (Nom Thurs) returned from 168 day spell with 2 good runs. Last start win at Geelong came from well back, about 300mtrs out eased outside and started her move. Joined the lead 100mtrs out and 1 ¼ lengths on them. No 7 Oshkosh had a change of trainers and came back from a long 324 day break, has found form in his new stable. This is a step up in class but he is running well. No 1 Seattle Sonic also returned from a long 251 day break, he has also came back looking much better with a good win here at the track lat start, wound up well and found the line strongly. No 3 Eumeralla Quest is back after 191 days, he will be better for his first preparation and did run a good first up race on debut.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap 04.00pm

No 2 Full Peal
returns after 106 days, won well on debut then failed at Warrnambool, she jumped badly that day then never got into the race. She didn’t want to get between horses and with blinkers on here should make a big difference. No 1 Cult Hero (was scratched from Stawell yesterday) returned to his home track last start for a good win, will need to find a few yards of speed did win nicely. No 7 Spiritoftheriver (Nom Thur Fri) is much better than her first up run from the spell. She has run some decent races a while back. No 6 Mimics had 511 days in the paddock, has 3 runs back that haven’t been too bad but will need to lift a little to fill the places.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 04.30pm

There are some average horses here. The first starter has to be in with a chance No 1 Alexander Avenue out of Beckett who won his only race start being a group 1 over 1400mtrs but his mum Conviviality won her first two race starts over 1100 and 1000mtrs. Watch markets for any moves. No 4 The Enterprise is going alright, has a good record for this distance. No 9 Raikkonen (nom Fri) not a bad run last start here at the track, was scratched the 23rd and 29th so will be fit and forward. No 7 Tarantalina has been away for 144days and had a change of trainers, is trained at the track can run on the speed so could surprise.

Cranbourne Horse Racing Tips Sunday 30th January 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Cranbourne Horse Racing Tips Sunday 30th January 2011

Race 1 - 1200mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate – 12.50pm

No 11 Noble Twostep
is nicely bred out of Stratum the Golden Slipper winner, her first race run was big as she was very green and got held up from the 400 – 200mtrs but found the line well. She will be much better for that run and ran a trial on the 24th of January running 2nd to Moody’s Hallowell Belle in good time. No 3 Cash For Matt I look forward to seeing him on better ground here, his last start before freshened made good ground, has a trial also on the 24th and will be ready to go here. No 6 Le Samer is out of Al Samer is unseen to date, Al Samer was handy as a sprinter so watch markets. No 9 Tramp will be a chance for the places.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs Maiden Plate – 01.25pm

No 7 Sidecar
should break his duck here, came back from a long spell has two runs under the belt and last start led most the way just tiring late, will be fitter and very hard to beat. No 2 It’s Sebastian has been in work a while and sure to be very forward, lat trial ran was good and will be coming home hard. No 11 Il Sogno raced unruly early on and also kept getting her head up a number of times through the run, she fought hard and should be better for that run. No 4 Prohibit came back with a good run from a long spell, jumped badly and lost a few lengths but finished race off well.

Race 3 – 1300mtrs Maiden Plate – 02.00pm

No 10 Hold For Applause
(Nom Thurs 3rd February) returned from her 358 day spell with a nice run, had trouble in the run avoiding heels become unbalanced and the was held up in the straight. Her run against Tallow was good as well. I will back if better than even money. No 7 Hamel returned from his spell on the synthetic at Geelong, forget this run as he was away slowly and never recovered. He is better than this and I expect a much better run. No 11 Xaar Best (Nom Thurs 3rd February) returns after 608 days, ran a trial that was a good run. Her only race runs were both good so watch markets closely. No 9 African Diva returned from her long spell with a very good run, I like Symons on board.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs Maiden Plate – 02.35pm

No 7 Harmony (special)
should break her duck here. She has done a lot wrong in her earlier runs including last start. It was a huge runs as she was slowly away settling last, had to cross heels coming to the turn and checked across heels again about 100mtrs out, flying late. No 2 Arms Deal ran in the same race and was a very good first race run, was green and sat midfield enjoying a cart into the race before laying in, found the line well and will have learnt from that run. No 6 Sands Like A Party won her trial over 1550mtrs well and must respect on that run. No 4 Idovoodoo also ran in the race of my top two picks, came across from the wide barrier sitting wide with no cover and got a bad check but still found the line well.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 03.10pm

No 2 Danz Boy
(Nom Wed Thurs next week) is racing in good form and last start a very solid win finding the line well. No 5 Doggerel has disappointed to date, I expect improvement as he is much better in breeding than he is running. No 1 Artic Point last two starts been very good, fitness is there now and will be hard to hold out. No 4 Mahsam has disappointed but back to this distance a good move and should be better here.

Race 6 – 2080mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.46pm

No 1 Second King (Nom Wed Thurs next week) came back from his 245 day break with two good runs at this track, last start win was a great ride and will be fitter and another chance. No Kincaple (Nom Wed next week) ran a good race last start as he jumped badly but worked into the race well, has been in work since October and is good at 2000mtrs plus. No 2 Bolton (Nom Wed Thurs next week) is a lightly raced Zabeel colt from Hickmott’s stable, 4 starts for 2 wins and 2 places, made good ground from too far back last start and breeding this is no worries. No 5 You’rejokingme (Nom Wed Thurs next week) has drawn terribly and will probably scratch fro next week but is starts a chance for the places.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.24pm

No 9 Regalmania ran second to Varenna Miss in a trial, we know Varenna is a smart horse in the making and returned with a win on Australia Day. Regalmania has shown glimpses of breeding and maybe finally matured. No 10 Acro Iris came back from her spell with a good run at Cranbourne, she raced over 1200mtrs her first race run and did a lot wrong, she didn’t want to be loaded and fought hard with attendants, raced ungenerously, shifted ground and bumped another horse. She looked much better returning this preparation. No 2 Regibush won last start and had her foot on the till since her run against Vals Boy at Caulfield, and will give this a shake for sure. No 1 Mr. Moxie drops way back in class here but goes up in weight, sure to be charging home.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0-68 Handicap – 05.04pm

No 6 Cardiobeat (special) forget last run as he over-raced, pulling hard and just never settled, you go back to his Geelong win over 1400mtrs where he won by 6 lengths in good time. He has talent and Nolen will be a big bonus being on board. No 3 Mighty Blitz is going to be very fit here, has been running well and will be there at the finish. No 5 Fancy Pants is a Lohnro gelding in the Smerdon camp, he has shown some talent and I do like his last start at Geelong. No 9 Mousseline has been disappointing to say the least, she did look a little better last and may sneak a place.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Saturday 29th January 2011 Victoria Australia

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Horse racing can be a funny and frustrating sport, look at last night at Moonee Valley I wasn’t having a good night with my top choices finishing in the first 6 races 2nd, 4th, 4th, 3rd, 3rd, and 3rd. Then race 7 came along and I my tips were:

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 09.45pm

No 11 Show Bling has really found her feet her last two races for good wins. She hit the line hard last start to just get up late. No 1 Adaptor should be forward as has been in work for a while, can go well fresh and the 3kg claim a big help. No 4 Can Do with the 3kg claim will give this a shake, worked home well last start and will have trained on since then. No 8 Cavendish drops back to the 1200mtrs and both runs this preparation have been promising. If emergencies No 13 Prussian Storm and No 14 Heyington Honey get starts keep them safe in your multiples.

Show Bling won paying $5 and this recouped about ¼ of the money I had outlaid for the night, but what was even better was Adaptor. I was screaming as I had and small but nice eachway bet and ran 2nd in a photo finish paying $53 for the win and $11 the place. I picked up 5.5K for the place dividend but missed a $26K payout. And it got better as my multiple trifecta came home, only cost $12 a full unit and took 5 times and it paid $2,800. And the first 4 on numbers 11, 1, 8, 4 paid $30,000 but I didn’t back it. Now I could whinge and complain but I don’t take that many first 4 bets anyway. Still not too bad. And best I am back in front just under 10K.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Saturday 29th January 2011

Race 1 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 12.50pm

No 3 Languid $4.40
had her first start here in Melbourne and won well, hammered home and should like this track. No 1 So Nonchalant $2.70 has two race starts for two wins, she won well at Moonee Valley last start and has a 2kg claim here, I don’t like the apprentice engaged. No 5 Caravan Sang $15 ran a good first race start, found the line well late and gets Williams on board. No 4 Means A Lot $6 was spelled after her only race run, came back with a nice win in Echuca.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo Plate – 01.30pm

There are plenty of first starters here, watch the markets as breeding there are a few that should sprint well first up. No 2 Boys on Tour $2.60 is too short, there has been money for him since markets opened and his trial win was good but there are some good unseen colts here. Watch markets and follow any good betting moves.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.10pm

No 3 Under The Eiffel $2.20 (special) is skinny and has been backed well in the early markets. Came back from the spell with a solid win finding the line well, will be fitter here. No 6 Gilded Spur $9 first Australian run was good, he finds the line well watching some of his Sydney runs and will be a good outside chance here. No 2 Blades Of Glory $4 from the Moody camp has two starts for two wins, I think this distance will push him and will be better after his first spell. No 4 Yorkshire Lad $9 he gets blinkers first time here, watching some of his early runs they were very nice and you think will come home late.

Race 4 – 1500mtrs Handicap – 02.50pm

No 1 At The Heads $2.20
you cannot go past, is flying and still won after shifting ground last start, the claim helps of 1.5kgs. No 4 Reassert $5 was scratched from the Valley last night because of the wide barrier, is racing well and a chance. No 5 From The Terrace $3.90 I like his runs I have watched, his last two races could have done better as he had to be straightened when working home well and last start couldn’t get a clear run but had plenty in the tank looking at the race. No 2 Cascabel $6.50 is a consistent horse and at this weight will make a fight of it.

Race 5 – 1800mtrs Handicap – 03.30pm

No 8 Port Vell $7.50
is frustrating as he can run a decent race. Has a tendency to be away slowly and work home well late. I like Nolen has finally got back on board here for the first time since September 2009. If Nolen can get her to jump well and not lay in and out she is a chance. No 4 Abitofado $3.30 has two runs under the belt this preparation, will like the extra metres and the 3kg claim a big bonus. No 3 Red Buttons $6.50 has been freshened and he finish his races off well and expect him charging home late. No 5 Anavalanche $3.10 will like the extra metres and won well last start.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs Handicap – 04.10pm

No 4 Barwon Express $6.50
has two runs back this preparation and been in work a while, will be fit and distance should be right on. No 7 Translation $9 was outclassed last start, drops 3kgs on that run and will come from back in the field but a chance. No 1 Spacecraft $3 makes his return from the spell, he is classy but this may be a little short for him. No 5 Hanks $9 has been away for 70 days and could go well fresh, watch markets.

Race 7 – 2400mtrs Handicap – 04.50pm

No 5 Summarise $4
came back from his 90 day break and has five runs under the belt, has stepped up in distance well and won three of the starts. He will need to find a few yards of speed as his times are not fantastic and No 7 Absolute Joy $4.60 is a big threat. This Zabeel mare has also stepped up well each start this preparation, a good chance for her to pick up another win. No 2 Guest Wing $7.50 the Perth Cup winner has come across to try his luck in Victoria, he will be ready as he was scratched on the 22nd of January and had time to train the Victoria way of going. No 6 Muir $8 is a very frustrating horse but must keep safe in multiples.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs Fillies and Mares Handicap – 05.30pm

No 4 Mid Summer Music $3.60 (special)
won well on Boxing Day returning from her spell, she did a few things wrong but won well. Then she was the hot favourite $1.80 and went down, she over-raced and she will be a different horse with Nolen back on board. No 10 Safe $6.50 is light only carrying 50.3kgs, she will lead and give these all something to chase down and it wont be easy. No 5 Counterpane $4.40 is a Lohnro mare across from Sydney and I have watched a few of her races and she is a nice little horse and will have to see how she handles the Victorian way of running. No 12 My Emotion $12 can run well fresh, she has speed and if forward will be charging home late.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Friday 28th January 2011

Race 1 – 1018mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate – 02.10pm

No 5 Nodoubt Aboutme out of Undoubtedly the Blue Diamond winner so watch markets. No 6 Sky Shower out of Stravinsky another that should sprint well. No 7 Spurring Success out of Flying Spur had a trial on a heavy track way back in August against Warm Love who is flying at the moment, should sprint well. No 1 A Roddick Moment out of Barley a Moment should go alright fresh but this distance will probably be a bit short.

Race 2 – 1018mtrs Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate – 02.45pm

This is an average race, No 8 Patient Lady didn’t go well in her only trial on a heavy track but breeding should be better than that. No 9 Spirit of Sienna ran a few decent races last preparation, will be better for those runs. No 3 Liplock her run before the spell she did a lot wrong but still found the line alright, sure to be better for those runs coming back from the spell.

Race 3 – 1223mtrs Maiden Plate – 03.20pm

I am looking forward to seeing this colt from the Peter Moody camp, No 6 Money or the Gun (Big Watch) out of champion racehorse Octagonal is having his first start, I tried to get an early bet on with my bookie but no luck, he said he expects him to open as low as $1.50. I am going to have a little go at him if I can get $1.50. For the exacta No 4 Downright did plenty wrong first up, was very green and laid in making the jockey stop riding to straighten.

Race 4 – 2044mtrs Maiden Plate – 04.00pm

No 9 Jade’s Dilemma
should have won a race by now, she is well bred and does too much wrong, she is still learning but has potential. Last two starts have been good, last start ran about shifting in and out having a bumping duel. No 10 Tully ran a decent race last start. No 4 Macallan with Symonds on board a chance for the places.

Race 5 – 1018mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 7 Belle Chantecler
is returning from her spell, she will be a much better horse here. No 4 Ello Ello has trialed well over the 100omtrs and watching his races he has run okay races. No 2 Nate will be around the mark.

Race 6 – 1527mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 4 Sassy Bay should win this, and should do it easily if I read the form correctly.

Race 7 and 8 later today.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 28th January 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 28th January 2011

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 3yo Handicap – 06.45pm

No 1 Master Harry $2.25
didn’t handle the slow 7 against Toorak Toff, he will be better here returning and I have already backed in this small field as he will shorten. No 2 Chelembra $6.50 with Mallyon claiming 3kgs will make these chase all the way. He will lead and will take running down. No 5 Tassa Avanta $4.50 her first two runs were good, she weakened last start to be run down late. She will be stronger here after her first spell. No 3 Cristallo $3.90 drops back to the 1000mtrs, will run a forward race but I like over more distance.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 0 -68 Handicap – 07.15pm

No 10 There’s Only One
has two nice runs back from her spell, she won well in good time last start at Warrnambool, Meech rode beautifully and she found the line very well. No 1 Golden Choice has 59kgs but will run a competitive race, he is a nice horse and Symons a top jockey. No 6 Skimalong has a good chance to break his duck, has had excuses in his earlier races and last start was motoring home too late to just go down. No 4 Nomatamata was a big improver last start, on that run is a chance.

Race 3 – 3000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 07.45pm

No 1 Star of Juene $2.25 should win this, his form is much better than the others and I have backed already. No 4 Montgomery $3.70 has stepped up well in distance each run this preparation and last start win here at the Valley was good. No 5 Pento Diablo $6 last start was leading before McCabe thought something was amiss with him and pulled him up, vetted and nothing found wrong. He is a decent horse. No 7 Equal Rights $12 was a good run last start, got tightened near the turn and hard to get a clear run but found the line well.

Race 4 – 955mtrs 0 – 78 Mares Handicap – 08.15pm

No 1 Pyrenees Express $7.50
returns from her spell, she will lead and even with this weight will take running down. No 7 Super Swell $4.60 is in good form and running solid races and will probably lead with Pyrenees. No 6 Stack Em $3.80 is the favourite and deserves to be on her run at Sandown against Two Hills and Perfect Hostess. I think the barrier will not help her as she like being on the pace and will have trouble crossing with the speed on her inside. No 2 Shabangabang $9.50 is a chance for the places at nice odds.

Race 5 - 2040mtrs Fillies and Mares Handicap – 08.45pm

No 7 Comocean $3
should have won last start, laid in down the straight about 200mtrs out a good three horses. When Newitt finally straightened her she motored to the line just missing out. She lays in often in races I have watched of her. No 4 Appennine $3.90 has been up a long time this preparation but Smerdon has her going well. Current form hard to fault. No 9 Jetta $13 is a good outside chance, this horse motored home late at Moe last start carrying 59kg. No 1 Manila Jewel $5 is a classy horse and even with the 59kgs will be there a long way.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs Australia Stakes Group 2 – 09.15pm

No 9 Typhoon Tracy $2.05 (Super special) returns and will give these a galloping lesson, she is special and even though I really respect No 8 Undeniably $6.50 and No 4 White Friars $5.50 she is just a class above these. No 2 Heart of Dreams $16 may fill the places but will want longer I think. And No 10 Ortensia $5.50 returns from Singapore and is fresh and should be charging.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 10.15pm

No 8 Itimio last start was just outclassed, the pace was just a little too hot for him. Before that his win at Ballarat and Cranbourne were solid. No 12 Stole won her first Australian start, it was only a 4 horse race but she did win nicely. No 4 Zizz $8.50 had a hard race last start, posted wide with no cover and had to ease off heels in the straight. No 3 Reassert $5 is the favourite and racing very well but the barrier worries me for Moonee Valley, it will be a hard run here.

My quadrella for tomorrow will be:

4, 7 / 9 / 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 14 / 3, 4, 8, 12 at a cost of $48 for a full unit.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 26th January 2011

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo fillies Handicap – 01.00pm

No 5 Iridescente $4.40 this is her first trip to town, she came back from her spell on the turf at Geelong and looked very nice winning, looks a different horse and she won easily. Drops weight with the class rise and was well backed last start. No 1 Cristallo $3.70 is a classy horse, won well after her 79 day break, she just held on and was a good time for Moonee Valley, will be fitter here and again a big chance. No 3 Storm Burst $3.70 from Moody is another returning from a spell. Her first race run against Toorak Toff was good, then went to Flemington with a nice run late to finish 2nd before two wins in a row. She will be a much better horse for that first preparation and watch markets closely. No 6 Minnie Mah $5 I have watched her 4 runs to date, she can finish her races off well and at this weight a chance for the places.

Race 2 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 01.36pm

In this small field I like No 3 Elmore $12 as a very good outsider, has two runs under his belt, will be fit and does find the line well. No 4 Lord Pindari $2.80 is short, he is racing very well and in this small field will be very hard to beat. No 2 Mr Bentley $5.50 is a consistent horse, was freshened and first up run was a little underdone, will be fitter here. No 1 Spinney $3.50 is across from Sydney has been going around in much harder races and not disgraced, the 2kg claim will help a lot.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs Blue Diamond Preview Colts and Geldings – 02.12pm

No 2 Golden Archer $2.25 has two starts for two wins, Has won down the straight at Flemington and here at Caulfield. The Caulfield win was nice as he led and was pressured but gave them a good lesson easing to the line for a 2 ½ length win. No 3 Grand Britannia $15 ran in the same race and was very unlucky, was re-shod at the barrier, jumped badly and made contact got well back before making good ground, had to squeeze through some tight gaps. I think way overs at $15. No 1 Sepoy $8 from the Snowden camp won on debut then put away for 115 days, returns here and will be a big chance again. No 7 Boys On Tour $6 won a trial in good time and well, is well bred and must respect.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs Blue Diamond Preview Fillies – 02.48pm

No 4 One Last Dance $2.50 I have already backed for a decent wager, if you watch her only race run and the way she won, it was impressive. Nolen didn’t move on her until straightening and then shook her up and gave her a few whacks with the whip and she cruised to the line easing down. No 1 Spectrolite $19 is my clear second choice, I will exacta these two. Both her runs have been down the straight at Flemington but she will be better suited with the bend I think. Her last run was big for me, was away badly, held up a little before getting clear and finding line well. No 6 Graskop $6 is still a green horse and a lot to learn, she has impressed me her two runs and the way she finished her races off. No 3 Jessica Rose $19 won her only start in a small field here at Caulfield. The time wasn’t anything flash but she fought hard late to win and will be fitter and better for that run here. Watch markets for the first starters.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs Zeditive Stakes – 03.24pm

It is hard not to pick the current favourite but I think the big Anabaa colt No 1 Anacheeva $6 will give this a big shake. I have already backed and think he will race well fresh here. He will be coming home hard and is going to get a good cart into this race as there will be pace on. No 4 Éclair Mystic $2.80 deserves to be favourite and she has been good to me and helped pad my bank account. She will be hard to beat and will sit in a perfect position from this barrier. No 5 Spirited Eagle $9 I like what I have watched of him. He looks a nice little horse. His first up win from the spell was a good run, fought hard after being held up for a tough win. No 9 Linked In $6.50 a good win first up and will have trained on, a good stable so respect.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs John Dillon Stakes – 04.02pm

No 2 Danzylum $3 is favourite and hard not to like. I like the old guy and his last start win solid, sure to give this a big shake. No 9 Wind Shear $5.50 has been freshened and at this weight sure to run a cheeky race. No 6 Maxisun $4.20 ran a good first up run from the spell, was away slowly before mustering along before working home nicely. No 10 Lady Gaga $6.50 forget her last start as she took herself out of the race bucking after the start, much better than that.

Race 7 – 1100mtrs Mares Handicap – 04.42pm

No 5 Varenna Miss $2.20 (Special) I am really looking forward to seeing her back from the spell. She is a nice horse and won her trial on the 10th of January well. No 3 Be Positive $10 forget her two runs in Brisbane she just didn’t seem to like the wrong way of going, is much better than that and she won her trial easily and should be forward. No 4 Conquering Queen $9 is better than her form looks, she can run a good race so watch markets for any moves. No 8 Perfect Hostess $7 is light and will be fit for this and sure to run well.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 05.22pm

No 13 Quick Peek $4.40 I like this horse a lot, his first two races wins were very solid. In the Group 2 Salinger is a better run than it looks on paper. Was taken out at the start by Swift Alliance and then also shifted ground about 250mtrs out and the jockey incurred a suspension for this. I am very confident about this horse and Walker a big bonus back on board. No 4 Acorns $2.70 is the short favourite and he deserves this after his first race run in Victoria ended in a big win at Sandown Hillside, ran the 1000mtrs on a slow 7 in 56.91 so impressive. Was a big win but does go up 4kgs in weight on that win. No 8 Esprit De Bullet $6.50 also had excuses in the Salinger, has got speed and will charge home. No 3 Zedi Night $8.50 last two runs have been big, in the Xmas Stakes came across from the wide barrier and sat wide all the way but dug deep in the straight, in the Doveton again posted wide with no cover and fought hard right to the line.

Geelong Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 25th January 2011

Race 1 – 1112mtrs Maiden Plate – 01.00pm

Only 6 starters at the moment with the scratching, looking at the first starters No 4 Jake Boy out of Face Value who was a nice sprinter, Face Value won his first three race starts and went on to run very good races in Group 1 – 3 races. No 3 Del Porto is out of Stratum and he was a good sprinter winning the Pago Pago and Golden Slipper. No 5 Coeur Du Cheval is out of Show a Heart and we know how good this horse was but will probably be doing best work too late and want more distance. No 6 Daughter of Fortune returns from her spell, her first preparation she went around in much harder races and will be better for that racing.

Race 2 – 1212mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate – 01.30pm

No 1 Crystal Downs the first starter is nominated for the Australian Guineas on March 5th at Flemington, out of Stravinsky so watch markets closely. No 4 One of the Boys is a first starter for Mark Kavanagh out of Canny Lad and wasn’t he a horse and a half. Should be good first up for sure. No 11 Trista Rossa won a barrier trial nicely on the 10th of January, she will be better for her first preparation. No 6 Democrat returns from the spell, will be a better horse for sure, is well bred and a good stable.

Race 3 – 1312mtrs Maiden Plate – 02.00pm

No 5 Heritage returned from the spell looking much better, posted 3 wide in this race with no cover and weakened late, will be fitter and a big chance here. He is nominated for the Australian Guineas. No 4 Caulfield ran a good race first up at Geelong considering, he wasn’t away well, over raced, ran into a narrow gap and then had to go around heels finding the line. No 3 Hausratte should be better than his first start, I think will be much improved here. No 9 Coral Reef ran a nice first up race, on breeding should want further but will be a chance at the places.

Race 4 – 1512mtrs Maiden Plate – 02.30pm

No 4 Kerford from Robert Hickmott and casino man Williams. Having his first start (maybe as nominated 4 times this week), must watch markets as out of Galileo and this distance and further is what he should want. No 7 Clemente ran a good first up run, was unlucky in this race as hampered at the start, couldn’t get a clear run in the straight. Looked very green in his run and will be much better for this run. No 6 Zip Ole has been let up for 61 days, ran some nice races here and there and the freshen up could be just the thing. No 12 Prince Paragon first up run was okay but when vetted was slow recovering, came from well back on the turn making nice ground.

Race 5 – 1212mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 03.00pm

No 5 Enjin Number Nine if he starts here (nominated Friday MV night 80K race and also Australian Guineas) looks the horse to beat for me, won on debut at Bendigo in an easy maiden before taking on Flokkati and Marmaa who are both shaping as nice horses now. In this race he did so much wrong, reared in the barrier and got his near foreleg over the partition, was vetted and passed fit to run. Jumped away badly shifting in and making big contact, then had to check early in the running when tightened. Came home well but laid in down the straight. I will hit big if he starts here. No 2 Loudest from the Snowden camp, a Lohnro gelding that came back from a long 546 day spell and has had three good runs. No 10 Zaeem he hasn’t done anything special to date but his first up run from the spell was nice; he looked much better and showed some of his breeding from Magic Albert hitting the line hard late. No 1 State Grade watching his last 4 starts he finds the line very well. Is first up here and sure to be ready for this and a big threat.

Race 6 – 2418mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 03.30pm

This is a very average race being nice, No 2 Hurricane Trader has been freshened a little. Last start was held up a long way in the straight and only clear too late making ground to the line. Looks like the extra metres will suit. No 13 Milenka I have watched some of her races and not so bad, is a big chance in this weak race. No 7 Marker I think will be an improver here, has run well at Geelong and last start was a hard run but fought hard. No 1 General Iglesia is better than last start, this will be a big test but a chance for the places.

Race 7 – 1715mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.00pm

Again this is an average race for me, I like the best No 2 Peace An Quiet, he won last start in an easy race and did it hard as was held up before finding the line well. No 3 Spellberg, his first up run from the spell was nothing special and he usually takes a few runs to get going but this is weak and a chance. No 8 Royal Inquest caught my eye with his last run, was making nice ground late. No 5 Twiginthedesert has been around the mark of late and the opposition here a bit easier.

Race 8 – 1412mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 3 Shrapnel Gully has two runs under his belt and last start led a long way before being over run late. No 4 Flash O’Brilliance ran a good first up run at Seymour, was working home well late. A big chance for win number two here. No 10 Oforawsome (nominated Thursday, Friday) came across from NZ and his first run here was just outclassed. I would respect in this stable and first up from the spell. No 2 Firejet first up from the spell was really hitting the line hard late.

Race 9 – 1412mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.00pm

No 9 Java Jack (nominated Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat) should have two wins from two starts to his name, his first race run was checked very badly but stormed home for a good second. Then won in a small 4 horse field at Cranbourne before being spelled for 170 days, sure to be ready if he starts here. No 6 Mojo Working has a bad barrier but I have watched a few of his races and he does find the line well, has been freshened and Arnold is a very good jockey. No 4 Nothing By Half made good ground returning from the spell, has run some good races on the synthetic here at Geelong just needs to do it on the turf. No 5 St James Lane is first up here, has a trial under the belt and will be better than that run for sure.

Cranbourne Horse Racing Tips Sunday 23rd January 2011

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate – 01.10pm

No 2 Kelvista has three runs back this preparation, should break through here (No 5 Kulgrinda scratched won yesterday at Moe very well. Out of Exceed and Excel). Last start was a little ken in front and I would like to see him get a little cover and have a cart into the race as he is a fighter. No 7 Missten from Smerdon came back from a 234 day break with a solid run. Was doing best work too late last start and breeding will want this distance and further. No 1 Fine Dina is first up after 100 days, only has three runs to date and two on heavy tracks, will be better for the first preparation and should be a better horse here. No 4 Saint Lenny is out of Niello and he was an okay sprinter but was better over more distance so he will probably be doing best work late.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate – 01.45pm

I am going for first starter No 5 Cataria (watch markets), out of Danbird who was handy as a sprinter, won his first race start, ran 2nd in the Magic Millions, won the group 2 Pago Pago Stakes. Should sprint well first up. No 1 Hold For Applause came across for NZ, had one start and then spelled, back after 358 days. Her run at Flemington in the Group 3 Vanity was good, was finding the line well too late. Her dad Thorn Park was a very good 1200mtr horse and I look forward to seeing. No 7 Lights Of Heaven from the Moody camp is out of Zabeel and should run a forward race but will probably want further. No 8 Meadow Vale is another that breeding should sprint well and could be at nice odds.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs Maiden Plate – 02.20pm

No 3 Extreme Silence will be a lot better coming back from a long 234 day spell, his first race run was good fighting hard only being overrun late. No 7 Invincible Miss looked a lot better her first run back this preparation. She was away slowly and chased hard coming home well wide in the straight. No 11 Roadacious led a long way last start before weakening, looked a little underdone and sure to be fitter here and will appreciate the drop in distance, Boss on a board a big bonus. No 4 Gotta Have Faith is another horse that will be better for his first preparation, comes back from the spell with a good trial under his belt.

Race 4 – 1500mtrs Maiden Plate – 02.55pm

No 2 Danz Boy (Best bet) should break his duck here, my bet of the day looking at it. He should break his duck here. All 4 runs this preparation have been solid, last two could have picked up a win with more luck. No 7 Jollience is a nice little horse, he only has three starts to his name and the two this preparation have both been very good. Got held up in both runs and charged home towards the line too late. No 4 Major Rocketman his last two starts have been much better, gets a 3kg claim with Mallyon and she is a good little apprentice. No 1 Commonage Close has been around in much harder handicap races, he will need to lift but the combination of Boss and Robbie Laing could do it.

Race 5 – 1500mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap - 03.30pm

No 2 Very Fast was wide the whole way last start at Moonee Valley, fought hard to the line for a gutsy run. The big worry is the weight for me. No 8 Danzoya looks better after the spell, last start found the line well for a good win. His breeding this distance will push him I think but respect. No 7 Hit N Miss is another horse that will find this a bit too far but this is a weak field and a chance. No 1 Blitzem Riley form isn’t great but this is a weak race and he can run the distance well, watch markets on him.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 9 Exceed and Excite (Best bet) has returned from the spell looking a much better horse. Her two runs for a win and a second have been very nice. It could have been two wins but last start got held up and couldn’t get room between horses till late then charged to the line. No 5 Quadruple is fresh and won his trial on January 10th in good time, will be forward and run a good race. No 1 Livefasy has the big weight but also has Bossy on board. Ran a big race last start posting wide all the way finding the line well to run a good 2nd. No 6 Biondi I have watched a few of his races and not so bad, he can run a decent race on his day. Gets blinkers for the first time and this could make all the difference.

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 22nd January 2011

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 2yo Plate – 12.50pm

This isn’t a strong sprinters race to me, the standout is No 1 Aberrant $4.40 who won on debut. The time isn’t anything flash but did have plenty in the tank and being out of Strategic should be able to pick up a few yards of pace. No 7 Redangelo $3.80 is another that should sprint well. He is a nice looking colt and his first race he did a bit wrong getting away slowly, then made contact about 200mtr out from the line becoming unbalanced. Out of Testa Rossa who was very smart and he looks to be a horse that could win a few good races. No 3 Break The Seal $12 and No 4 Charting $5 will go well but is a horse that will want more distance and I will follow as they step up in distance.

Race 2 – 1620mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 01.30pm

This is a very even race with 5 horses having a good chance of winning. No 2 Casual Friday $4.60 last start was doing best too late, got too far back from the wide gate and was virtually last on the turn, made good ground late and this barrier she will race a lot closer to the lead and is 2.5kgs lighter. No 6 Sparks Fly $21 was the same, got too far off the lead, was finding the line well late and drops 2.5kgs. No 1 Rubinacci $4.80 was a good hard fought win first up from the spell, is a horse that puts a few wins together usually and sure to give this a shake. No 4 Winged Charm $4 is the favourite, was a nice win last start, she meets her opposition worse at the weights and also the barrier worries me as she tends to get away slowly and could get pocketed on the rail. I put a watch on No 7 Rain Shadow $5.50 as she is much better than her last start. Caught wide from the bad barrier last start and raced with no cover, weakened in the straight and rider sat up. This barrier will be a much bigger danger.

Race 3 – 1620mtrs 3&4yo Fillies and Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.40pm

Another open race. No 3 Gail $5 has come back from her spell in very good form. She is finding the line well and last start she did so much wrong, away badly, then she got pocketed and couldn’t get clear until about 100mtrs out then fining the line well. No 5 Seduced $8 changed to Kent’s stables, she has been running well in Adelaide and I have watched her last four runs and she has done things wrong and been a little unlucky. I like Rawiller gets on board and could be charging home late. No 7 Wayfield $11 also came back from a long break and has three good runs under her belt. Stepped up nicely in distance and last two starts for two wins in much easier company but the wins have been strong, impressive. No 1 Princess Diablo $4.60 is in very good form, is very consistent and sure to run a big race, the 2kg claim a big help and really hit the line well last start for a good win.

Race 4 – 1720mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.50pm

You cannot go past No 8 Cabeza $2.60 has three runs back from his spell, first two were very solid then last start he gapped them at Moonee Valley running a race record for 1600mtrs of 1-34.78 and this is a smart time for the Valley. I backed him as soon as the markets opened with my biggest bet this year. No 2 Grail Journey $5.50 has had three runs in Victoria for the Hawke’s stable now. They have been good runs and a fighter so I expect him to make this an honest race. No 6 Jetconi $8.50 was backed well late last start at long odds, money was so close with him tiring late to get run over. His race against Cabeza was good, got caught in a pocket and when clear in the straight made good ground to finish second. No 3 Port Vell $8.50 is into his third start back from the spell, last start if you watch it was better than it looks on paper, away badlyand laid out in the straight a few times, passed a few runners and with Oliver getting on board will keep her straighter and also closer to the pace. No 5 Cornish $6.50 in an international horse for Hickmott and Williams, is back from a 462 day spell and in blinkers the first time, watch markets.

Race 5 – 2600mtrs Handicap – 03.30pm

This is a hard race, No 6 Sister Norma $6.50 is racing very well, has been around the mark most of her races this preparation, last two starts fought hard right to the line. No 5 Fordee $7 is a frustrating horse, this is his forth run back this preparation, last race was a nice race fighting for the lead before being overrun, drops weight and could be the improver. No 3 Muir is another horse that has been disappointing, they have put blinkers on his for the first time and this could be a big difference. No 1 Guest Wing $8 is across from Perth, the Perth Cup winner is in good form but I worry about the weight.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs Kensington Stakes (Listed Race) – 04.10pm

No 7 Warm Love $4.80 is a big chance to make it 4 wins in a row here, this is a big step up in class but drops 3kgs and did win well last start, will get a beautiful cart into this race I believe from this barrier. No 4 Waltzes $12 is from a very good country trainer Jarrod McLean. He doesn’t bring the horses to town unless he thinks they are a chance. He will charge for the lead and more than likely come across and cart Warm Love along. Will fight hard a long way. No 1 Grand Duels $6 has a big weight being 59.5kgs but he can do it like he has before. A very good sprinter and will put his best foot forward. No 3 Cardinal Virtue $3.90 is the favourite and across from Sydney. He does look a nice horse and is running down the straight here so won’t have the problem of negotiating the bend but from the barrier he might get pocketed as he doesn’t like to lead. There will be pace on early in this race.

Race 7 – 1410mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.50pm

No 5 Imperial Command $5.50 returned in the listed Doveton Stakes, was a little tardy at the start and then ran a solid race throughout, will be fitter here and is pretty smart when he is on his game. No 15 Stillman $9 is a bit of an unknown, he came to Australia from Hickmott and Williams and raced once after a 266 day break, it was a decent hit out running a good second finding the line late. He was put away again for 276 days and makes his return for his second Australian run. No 2 At The Heads $4.80 last two start wins have been solid and again will be hard to hold out with the claim. No 7 Work The Room $5 came back from a 69 day let up with a big run, got too far back and was doing best work late.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs 3&4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 05.30pm

No 3 King Diamond $4.60 looked nice winning last start, will be fitter here and sure to be finding the line strongly late. No 4 Brillanconi $12 with the 3kg claim will run a very cheeky race at this weight, this is a big step up in class from his last two wins but he has found the line well. No 7 Shewan $5.50 Smerdon and Boss and a good combination and this horse has two very good runs under his belt this preparation. Last start ran a big race finding line well late. No 2 Vesper $5 an incredibly frustrating horse if you have tried to follow him, he is much better than his last 3 runs and I think the weight will be too much for him here.

Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 19th January 2011

Race 1 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 -72 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 4 Fill the Fridge I have watched all three of her races and she is a nice horse, both Ballarat runs were good and the win at Geelong came home hard making good ground. No 2 Iridescente came back from the spell with a solid win, looked good winning and still had some in the tank. No 1 Koala Bear has been going around in some much harder races, the 3kg claim will be a big help. No 3 Serene Diva from the Moody camp is a market watcher as has only ran on heavy tracks for a win at Cranbourne that was nothing special but I look forward to see back from her spell and she would have matured a little and the better track also should show us if she is a good little horse.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs Mares 0 – 89 Handicap - 02.10pm

No 2 Inablitz is racing well and won well at Morphettville last start after a big run at Moonee Valley a few weeks earlier. Has had a nice break and even though up 3kgs on her winning weight she will be hard to beat. No 5 Simply Put ran a nice race last start, got held up for a good 300mtrs and could have pushed Mid Summer Music if had a clear run. No 3 Reconcentrate first up she lead a long way before running out of gas late, sure to have trained on and be fitter here as well. No 7 Miss Phromily is first up from a spell, has a good record at distance and should run an honest race here.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.45pm

This is a really good race with some very nice horses running around. No 3 Broadcast I am looking forward to him returning from the spell, he looked good his first two race runs and then at Moonee Valley raced a little tight and had to check off heels, should be a better horse here. No 1 LuckyI’mbarefoot has had an 81 day spell and last preparation ran in some hard races over distances that I cannot see suiting this horse on breeding, his dad won the Golden Slipper and his mum wasn’t such a bad horse. No 5 Inadequate an ex Sydney horse will be well schooled, last preparation only to runs and both were good so watch markets closely. No 8 Lonhreign returned with a good run at Geelong. Layed in a little late in the straight but finding the line well.

Race 4 – 1500mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 7 Bolton won with a big run home last start, was in good time and he looks as though he really matured during his 311 day spell. No 12 Cardiobeat thrashed his opposition last start, drops 3kgs on that run going up in class and will be a big threat. No 2 Reassert has been in very good form this preparation. Is carrying a big weight but last two starts has shown he can do this. No 10 Mr Molokai has two runs back from the spell, both have been solid runs, this is a jump in class but drops nicely in weight.

Race 5 – 2100mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 9 Borscht last run forget, he was checked badly last start, two riders were suspended over this. Will be better coming from this barrier and I think a big chance. No 4 Trajet raced in the same race as Borscht last start, ran a good 2nd and sure to be fitter here. No 16 Yasey San nice win last start, should have won at Stoney Creek the run before that as well. Is light again only carrying 53kgs. No 1 Bertonic gets a 2kg claim and last start was a very good run as he over-raced badly middle stages of the race. Came 4 wide in the straight and still made good ground though being ungenerous.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 2 Wealthy Lad has a big chance here, the 1.5kg claim is a big help, last start could have won that race with more luck. No 6 Conquering Journey from the Moody camp returns from his spell. Has had 214 days in the paddock and will be much better here. Has won 3 of his 4 runs to date and could be a nice little horse in the making. No 9 Briefed I have watched a handful of his runs and he can finish off a race well. He has done a few things wrong here and there and with Boss getting in the saddle an excellent move I believe. No 4 Costa in the Glen is a must watch on the markets, has had a change of trainers, been in the paddock for 472 days, has a good first up and distance record.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 8 Helena Girl is lightly raced in the Hawkes’ family stable. There was a good plunge on her late last start that nearly came off. Sure to be tip top fit here. No 2 Taransay is across from Sydney, form looks good and I have watched her last two starts and they were good. The claim helps just a matter of if she handles the opposite way of running. No 4 Olympias Girl is racing in good form I am just worried about the weight being a little too much for her here. No 13 Our Maikai is very inconsistent, showed a glimpse of form last run and could follow on here. No 1 In Gods Time is racing well, is flying at the moment and the 3kg claim a big help and will be a danger.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 15th January 2011

Racing at Flemington on a slow track, tomorrow is meant to be cloudy becoming sunny so maybe a track upgrade is possible but being Melbourne it could pour rain.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Plate – 12.50pm

This is a nice race, only 7 runners but some very well bred first starters. They haven’t been seen in public and markets will need to be watched. I cannot even recommend or lean to a favourite as all are strong on breeding. Going out on a limb I would favour No 7 Rocksan $3.50 out of Fastnet Rock and No 4 Light Touch $4.60 out of Charge Forward. No 1 Graskop $2.70 won well on debut

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.30

No 3 A Beta Imagination $3.30 out of Magic Millions winner Bradbury’s Luck is two runs for two wins. Last start at Caulfield gave the leaders a good start before Melham got busy and run them down late, looks a nice horse. No 2 Utah Saints $5.50 broke through for a good win last start, jumps up in weight coming back in class, handles the wet track and very consistent. No 5 Dusty Star $5.50 last two runs here at Flemington have been so close to wins, this horse likes to lay in and out under pressure and has cost him for sure. I like Nolen being engaged as he will be able to keep riding and straighten him if need be. No 1 Cellarmaster $5.50 is a NZ horse that has changed into Patrick Payne’s stable, form in NZ is okay but will have to watch markets to see if any moves.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies – 02.10pm

It is very hard to go past No 1 Warm Love $2.20, she does go up in weight coming back in class but the 3kg claim will make her hard to beat again. No 3 Malbun $4.20 is across from Sydney, doesn’t have to worry about running around the turn the wrong way, handles the wet and sprints well. No 4 Lucky Doris $10 I think she is over the odds, her last start didn’t have a good race and just didn’t put her best foot forward, she is well bred and she won at Sandown on debut over 1000mtrs on a slow track in 56.92. No 9 Arkham $8 I put a big watch on her, she is a first starter and her breeding is very nice. Dad Reset won all his 5 race starts but her mum Ponton Flyer won her first 3 race starts over 1000mtrs and ran 2nd in the G1 Blue Diamond and Sires Produce.

Race 4 – 2000mtrs Fillies and Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.50pm

I think No 4 Fashion Black $3.30 is way unders here, she is a nice horse but is beatable here for sure. I like No 5 Absolute Joy $8 is only into her 4th start back this preparation, she was beaten by Fashion Black two starts back but she blundered the start and was too far back to be a threat. She then went on to record a very tough win at Sandown next start. Will be fitter and the weight is nice. No 3 Appennine $6.50 has been up a long time this preparation but Smerdon has spaced her runs out. She is a nice horse that is racing very well and is light. No 10 Comocean $7.50 loves the wet track, is fitter and last start could have won last start but held up and couldn’t get clear.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 3 & 4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.30pm

No 7 Orinoco $6.50 won well last start, the run before at Flemington was held up for a good 500mtrs, clipped heels and dipped a little and still finished the race off well. No 2 Verdasco $5.50 returned from a 150 day spell with two wins in a row. Has been freshened 43 days and sure to be ready for this. No 3 Happy Angel $3.30 the current favourite led nearly all the way last start before being pipped late, will again be right in this a long way. No 6 Meddler $5.50 come across from Sydney and ran a good first up run at Sandown, really flew home late from back of the field.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs Chester Manifold Stakes Listed Race – 04.10pm

No 3 Chasm $3.80 last 6 starts have all been group races, his run in the Standish was solid, found the line well the last 400mtrs. Before that his runs in the Emirates and Salinger both good runs. No 10 Offenders $7.50 on Boxing Day flew late, hammered toward the line and is a big chance on that run. No 5 Keano $6 came back from being freshened with an average run, was slow out of the barriers, raced very tight early on, is better than that run and should be better here. No 2 Orbit Express $7.50 is racing well, sure to run another good race and make a fight of this. No 12 Lady Gaga $11 is a mystery, last start at Morphettville was a shocker, bucked like a rodeo horse, form before this was solid.

Race 7 – 1600mtr Handicap – 04.50pm

No 7 Wind Shear $4.80 last two starts solid, last start against Aloha couldn’t match the winner but a nice run and good weight here. No 3 Abitofado $8 was okay first up from the spell, handles the wet, distance and track. No 5 Bourbonstreetblues $26 I think is a chance to sneak into the places at nice odds. No 1 Reverend Lovejoy $19 is three runs back here and sure to be fitter and more forward. The favourite I am willing to risk, No 6 Tears I Cry $3.30 is in good form but this is his fifth start in just over a month, a lot of racing.

Race 8 – 2000mtrs handicap – 05.30pm

No 8 Fieldmaster $3.80 have the two Paynes teaming up. Has been good coming back from the spell and the further the better. No 9 Mycolada $21 had a long 508 day break, first up a good run, second up nothing special but I think will be a lot better here. No 3 Fast Future $5.50 is another stayer that has runs under his belt, was making good ground late last start. No 6 Lord Pindari $4.60 gave them something to chase last start and was only claimed late, fought hard all the way.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 14th January 2011

A night only for horses with a no metropolitan win (NMW) to their name. There are plenty of horses that have been close and I will try and point us in the right direction. I am looking forward to Assertive Albert running as he disappointed me last start.

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies NMW Handicap – 06.45pm

No 2 Iridescente from Freedman looked good winning last start, led from the start dictated the race and strode away in the straight easing down on the line, Melham hardly touched her and looked to have plenty in the tank. No 8 Vintage Triumph won well returning from the spell of 239 days. Her first race run she was very green and uneducated, looked much better winning last start. No 5 Kiss My Ice did a little too much work early last start. Still managed to win with a solid drive to the line. No 1 Anguissola the other Freedman runner is up in weight but can carry weight and looks a nice horse.

Race 2 – 3000mtrs NMW Handicap – 07.15pm

No 4 Tea For Two won well last start, Waterhouse has brought him across from Sydney and looks like a nice little horse. The Gosford win was easy with plenty in the tank. No 11 Olympica is in a good stable and Michelle is back on board, drops back to a good weight and will be running on late. No 8 Montgomery three runs back this preparation, stepped up distance each time nicely and will be fitter as well here. No 2 Pento Diablo ran a nice race last start and was run down late, made his move about 1200mtrs out getting to lead before pipped at the post. The claim helps a lot and will run a cheeky race for sure.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs NMW handicap – 07.45pm

No 3 Principia could break through for his first metropolitan win, is very honest and racing in good form. No 4 Alpha Proxima is solid of the 1000mtrs has been freshened and will be ready for this. No 5 Macedon Cat is another decent sprinter that should do well in this race. No 6 Sherpa is another sprinter that is honest is very light with the claim.

Race 4 – 955mtrs 3yo NMW handicap – 08.15pm

No 7 Bellantina returned from the spell with a big win, was a walk in the park. She was very impressive. No 5 Magic of Emma is racing well in the country, two wins and a third this preparation. Comes to town with a big chance of a win. No 9 Tassa Avanti returns from the spell, ran a nice race at Sandown last start and is sure to be bigger, fitter here. No 4 Jugahlation is racing in good form and sure to give this a shake.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 3yo Mares NMW handicap – 08.45pm

No 10 Gail has two runs under her belt this preparation, both have been very good. Her win in Warrnambool was a hard fight and then impressed at Sandown and started making ground too late. No 3 Thankgoditsfriday three good runs back from the 190 day spell, last start at Sandown found the line well and will get better with distance. No 8 Metung Belle doesn’t have a good second up record but I like some of her runs last preparation, she could surprise with a big run here.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs NMW handicap – 09.15pm

No 11 Assertive Albert was disappointing returning from his spell, his debut win was very impressive and then at Sandown jumped badly and never got going. I am sure he will be a different horse here. No 3 Dazza won well last start, was held up but when clear hit the line full of running for a good win. No 6 He’s a Hotty country form you cannot fault, at this weight will run a forward race. No 1 Papercut first up from the spell had a shocker and just forget, is better than that run and goes well second up.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs Mares NMW handicap – 09.45pm

No 3 Mikey’s Magic returns from the spell, is good fresh and at the distance. Has drawn a little wide and will need some luck getting cover but can lead if need be. No 2 Lady Rock cannot fault her form, she is racing very well and need to respect. No 6 Heyington Honey first up run was okay from the spell, her second up record is poor but is a nice horse. No 4 Tango Express is another horse in good form, last two starts in the city have been very good. Was just run down at Flemington and then just off them here at Moonee Valley. The worry is the distance as she is 0 for 5 runs. Watch betting on No 1 Elegant N Easy back from a 700 day spell, changed trainers into Weir’s stable wasn’t a bad horse a few years ago.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs NMW handicap – 10.15pm

No 11 Far to Go ran an average race back from the spell, looked a little underdone and the run will have done him good. No 9 Disco Dan is racing well, last start was unlucky and could have finished closer if not held up. No 8 Bushrod has disappointed me a little as he seemed to be a better than average horse. He can show glimpses of being a decent horse and last start was just too far back. No 4 Good Value will be short of good value I think. Is a nice horse that will run a big race.

Geelong Synthetic Horse Racing Tips Thursday 13th January 2011 Victoria Australia

Geelong Synthetic (moved from Ballarat) Horse Racing Tips Thursday 13th January 2011

The meeting has been transferred from Ballarat to the Geelong synthetic track, could be a lot of scratching will have to wait and see. There is some horrible weather forecast for Victoria, 200mm of rain or more predicted is being said. So there might not be much racing if this does happen.

Race 1 – 2200mtrs Maiden Plate – 01.00pm

This is an average race being polite, No 9 Haumea on form should win this. No 2 Count La Za finally put his best foot forward last start, will need to find a few yards of pace though. No 4 Provoked have to give a chance as came back from a very long 511 day spell, this is his 5th run back. No 10 Africa should finally break his duck here and at least run a place.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs Maiden Plate – 01.35pm

No 7 Watasham is a great name for a racehorse but also his first up run was solid. Hope he comes down to Geelong as a big chance for a win. No 1 Billy of Chicago first up from the spell a nice run, was doing best work a little late and if a bit closer on the turn a chance. No 10 Esthermac I also liked her only race run, she fought hard and drops back to 1200mtrs, Dunn will give a good chance. No 8 Bee Ali is a bit of a mystery, should want this distance and further. Has not placed three times at this distance. Can run on well, last start was wide and did too much work.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies Maiden Plate – 02.10pm

There are a few first starters here and must watch markets closely as I like the breeding on a couple. No 5 Kya is first up from the spell, ran some nice races last preparation and will be better for her first few runs. No 6 Mega Miss led a long way last start before weakening, should be fitter and better for that run. No 4 Invincible Lady both 1000mtr runs this preparation have been good. First up was slowly away before working home well, last start was held up and never really got going. No 12 Sirrah is well bred and look forward to see run.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate – 02.45pm

No 2 Fine Wine ran a good first up race, looked a little green or underdone first up and did make a little ground late. Sure to be better here. No 7 Skimalong was flying home late last start, just missed out and a big chance on that run here. No 5 Oratorium got held up a few time last start, never really clear and didn’t finish too far off the winner. No 1 Diary is going to have to find another gear here to win this but is a nice horse in a good stable.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 0 – 72 handicap – 03.20pm

No 6 Cardiobeat gave his opposition a galloping lesson last start, drops weight with the class rise but if repeats will be hard to beat. No 8 Wine and Wickets is running well, last two starts found the line well with a good win at Bendigo last run. No 4 Monarchs forget last start is much better than that. Should be fitter and ready for a big run here. No 3 Electronic Cross tired late last start, should be better for that run.

Race 6 – 2200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.55pm

No 8 Flying Hula from the Weir camp has three good runs this preparation, has stepped up well in distance each one and last start was hammering home late down the outside. No 2 Bold Dazzler last start he led to the 400mtr mark then faded, vet said he had a slow recovery rate, is a better horse than this run. No 7 Keep Cool is running very consistently, is bred to run this distance and should be a chance at the places. No 1 Asphalt Jungle is the top weight, he is running well back from the spell and will give his all.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.35pm

No 2 Shanghai Express returned from a 582 day spell with a nice run, he lead most the way before running out of gas. Is going to be better for this run and the connections have nominated him for the $1 million Newmarket Handicap in March. No 9 Under The Eiffel is an interesting runner, returning after 387 days and his only two race runs were promising. He is sure to be bigger now and was scratched New Year’s Day, watch markets closely. No 3 Pity The Fool returned from a 606 day spell with two nice runs, last start won well at Ballarat and will like the extra distance. No 4 Morossa came from well back last start finding the line well, was supported late from $9.50 into $6.50 and the money was nearly right.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.15pm

No 6 Java Jack is returning from a 158 day spell, was smart his first preparation though both runs were on heavy tracks and one only a field of 4 runners. This horse is nominated for the Australian Guineas in March. No 11 Mary Street forget last start, was away badly and then squeezed about the 1200mtr mark. The win at Mornington before this was a very good run five wide in the straight hitting the line hard. No 5 Pelikaan Straat firs Victorian run was okay, will be better for this and just got too far back in that race. No 2 Highly Regarded last two starts was caught wide with no cover, if he jumps well and gets a nice trail in the race will be running home late.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 12th January 2011

Race 1 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 2 Exchanges has a 3kg claim and ran a nice race last start, this is 4th run back from a long spell and sure to be super fit here. Could have won two starts back with more luck against Safe. No 6 Lady of the Lamp from Peter Moody finally broke through for a win after her first two runs were full of bad luck. Looks like a nice little horse in the making. No 3 Elsewhere just did too much work last start, looked headed in the straight but fought very hard to run 3rd. No 4 Lucky Angel was so unlucky not to win last start, was a really good ride and she just went down by a nose.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.10pm

It is impossible to go past the class of No 1 Two Hills, is carrying 59kgs, 6kgs more than her opposition but she is a class above. No 5 Super Swell has been running well this preparation, this is a big jump in class but light and fit. No 6 Stack Em is another horse with two good runs this preparation, last start at Caulfield a big run and could have been closer with a little luck. No 2 Johanski is light only carrying 51.5kgs and goes well fresh.

Race 3 – 1800mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 02.45pm

If No 4 Bolton starts he will be short and hard to beat. A lightly raced Zabeel in a good stable and won nicely first up. No 2 Testa Rocca finally broke through for a win this preparation last start, is racing well and at this weight will run a good race. No 9 Penquil is jumping way up in class but also goes way down in weight, I have watched his last start and he worked home well hitting line hard. No 6 Yasey San is another jumping way up in class but also drops in weight. Is racing well and last start unlucky not to win last start.

Race 4 – 1800mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 4 Meaisin, O’Brien and Boss team up here and this Zabeel gelding has stepped up well in distance this preparation, should want this distance and going on last start will give this a big shake. No 2 Blasting really found the line well late for a nice win last start, a good trainer and jockey and must respect. No 7 Four Freedoms was run down by Blasting last start late, drops to only 52kgs but meets him 3.5kgs better. No 5 Wolf Call, Payne and Payne are a formidable team and this horse isn’t going so bad, last start a nice win at Warrnambool and was well supported in the markets.

Race 5 – 2400mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 8 Cadenzai is racing well this preparation, 3 wins from 4 races and a chance to make it 4. Is very light carrying only 51kgs and again will make these chase her down. No 2 Sister Norma is running well, last start was unlucky not to win at Caulfield and on that form a big threat. No 10 Pennon is 4 runs back this preparation, will get fitter and better with racing and bred to run this distance. No 1 Fordee will get better with racing and also distance.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs Handicap – 04.40pm

No 6 Acorns is down from rain soaked Brisbane, has been spelled for 37 weeks and is a smart little sprinter, watch markets closely for any moves. No 7 Navmann is across from Adelaide, can run a smart time if right. No 1 Global Warming is a classy horse and two good runs this preparation, with the 1.5kg claim a chance. No 8 Royalaz forgive his first up failure, is sound second up and will be better for his first run.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs Handicap – 05.20pm

No 6 Simply Put was unlucky Boxing Day, could have won but held up too long, will appreciate the extra distance on that run and Oliver should give a nice ride. No 9 Sophie’s Spirit is running very well, last start just went too hard in front and was swamped, again will lead and give them something to run down. No 3 Emily’s A Star is another horse in good form and sure to be coming home hard late. No 8 Glaze weakened late last start, should be fitter here and run the distance out.
