Geelong Synthetic Horse Racing Tips Friday 8th April 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Geelong Synthetic Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1100mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.50pm

Of the raced lot watch markets on No 8 Crackalackin a decent first up run from the spell and will be better suited on a better track I think. No 1 Hellion has been around the mark most starts and first up from spell an okay run, 2kg claim a help. First starters No 4 Whiskey Hunter on breeding could sprint well fresh. No 2 Strategic Spell is coming back from a long spell. This horse has had no luck three runs to date, first two starts did things wrong and then third start bled. A good stable and any moves respect.

Race 2 – 2200mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.25pm

No 11 Xaar Best
returned from a long 650 day spell, has two very good runs and foot is on the till. No 10 Happy Now is going alright, Froggy Newitt on board a good choice for me. No 12 Imogen Miss led for a long time last start, run over about the 150mtr mark but fought hard to the line. No 4 Achilles Heel was $100K purchase for the Hawkes boys and has been disappointing but well bred and could turn things around.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.00pm

A tricky race here, No 3 Dashing Miss not a bad first up run, weakened and maybe a little underdone on the day, give a chance for sure. No 13 Lagello (nom Sun) first up from the spell posted wide and no cover, weakened in the straight so give a chance. No 5 Little Miss Moolah watch markets as breeding is okay. No 12 Vietnam Lass watch markets as Smerdon a handy trainer, a good horseman.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.35pm

An interesting race here for me. No 5 Saneyev was a $200K purchase, first two race runs were good, I really likes the Ballarat run. Then went into the Listed Westfield Stakes, wasn’t disgraced and this a lot easier. A clocker told me he is running good sectionals, so watch markets for support. No 3 At The Till back from a long spell, watch markets. No 7 Teak (nom Tues, Wed, Thur) from the Hickmott and Williams team, if starts respect and watch markets. No 4 Cheville is another back from a long spell, bred well and good stable so watch for support.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap - 03.10pm

This is a hard race, nothing really stands out for me. No 4 West of Greta a big run last start, took the lead around midrace, was a good click and then kicked a few lengths clear before being challenged but fought hard right to the line. No 1 Ribati is first up from the spell, goes well fresh but the 59kgs a big task. No 3 Desert Flare is better than first up run, give a chance.

Race 6 – 2200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.47pm

No 3 The Catarena
forget last start, is much better than that. He will be using this for fitness with the Warrnambool carnival coming up but a good horse over the flat and this isn’t so strong. No 7 Mauritius has hardly put a foot wrong in easier class of late, respect. No 5 Royal Dalton (nom Wed) last two starts over the 2000mtr mark have been good. Good trainer so watch markets. No 4 Hachiman rises in class but the weight drop and claim a big bonus. Racing well around the distance.

Race 7 – 1100mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 04.27pm

An average race to say the least. No 5 Glowing Edge finds the line well, just gets too far back in her runs. Sure to charge home and this is not a strong race. No 2 Sundown Clown (nom Tues) forget first up run, than last start laid in down the straight, give a chance.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.07pm

This is a hard race to finish. If No 11 Agent (nom Tues, Wed, Thur) starts sure to be the one to beat after his strong race win debut. No 12 Bedouin Express going on last start with the weight drop should be around the mark. No 6 Affluence returns from Sydney and is better than his first two runs, give a chance and watch markets. No 8 Nosealot (nom Tues) has drawn wide but if starts respect. Watch markets on No 9 Pitt Street.
