I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.
I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.
Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.
Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia
Race 1 – 1100mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 - 89 Handicap – 12.35pm
I like two chances here. No 7 Neriani $3.50 returned with a good win first up. The time doesn’t look flash but was posted wide and there was a good pace on early. Lifted and fought hard for a good win. No 1 Limerock $6 you have to respect even though this may be a little short for her. She usually likes to come from back in the field but can also lead and will have to be on the pace from this barrier. The markets will be a good guide to see where she is at. For multiple players No 6 Miss Elvee $5.50 can sprint well first up and fresh and No 8 Perfect Hostess $7 if she is on looks a great mare and talented.
Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 01.10pm
No 3 Atlantic Jewel $1.70 you cannot go past, last start win showed us that she might be one handy little horse. She was widest from near the 600mtrs and they was she put paid to the others was nice. I backed her on Wednesday. No 10 Our Miss Jones $15 I think is a huge chance for the places here. I have watched both her runs to date and she can really find the line well. She hasn’t had a lot of luck and if all goes well could see a much improved horse here. No 8 Sharnee Rose $8 a good run against Atlantic Jewel last start but has drawn a little wide and plenty of speed inside her here. No 6 Crucial $13 this race is a lot harder than the last few starts but have to respect as the Ballarat win was solid. Multiple players have to include No 1 Kneeling $7 but the weight a bit of a worry.
Race 3 – 1700mtrs Handicap – 01.45pm
No 5 Extra Zero $5.50 steps out another 100mtrs here from last start and looked good hitting the line well late. Big threat I think. No 11 Cabeza $6 did too much early last start, back in grade and weight and expect a better showing. No 12 Don Carlos $8 first Australian start not great but keep an eye on markets for support. No 2 Paddy O’Reilly $7.50 has the runs and trials under the belt he needs now. No 1 Mighty High $4.40 the Hong Kong horse this looks a little short and the big weight a worry but a nice looking horse.
Race 4 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 02.20pm
No 5 Anudjawun $4.40 looked much better stepping out to the mile. Should be primed 4 runs back here. No 7 Ishant $4.40 also should be fully fit here and expect a very forward run. No 11 Lopov $13 a chance for multiple players as well as No 8 Pacino $15 and keep the favourite No 9 Shewan $4 safe.
Race 5 – 1400mtrs 3yo C & G Caulfield Guineas Prelude (G3 SW) – 03.00pm
No 3 Golden Archer $4 steps out to the 1400mtrs for the first time and going on his last start win should run this out, very strong. No 9 Chase The Rainbow $5.50 a big run last start, found the line well and looks a nice little horse in the making. No 1 Helmet $3 is the class horse for me without a doubt, but first trip to Melbourne and on the wrong foot but sure to be well schooled. No 12 Cross of Gold $11 was impressive last start and sure to be better for that run.
Race 6 – 1400mtrs Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (Group1 Hcp) – 03.40pm
No 13 Smart Missile $3.50 I have backed, watching the run of Manawanui in Sydney today sewed that up for me. Smart Missle should have won that race but went laid out badly. He is a smart colt. No 2 Woorim $5 came down from sunny Queensland and won well at MV, hit the line well but my worry is the pace will be on and I hope he doesn’t get too far back. No 10 Testascana $13 this is hardest test to date but don’t write him off.
Race 7 – 1200mtrs Handicap– 04.20pm
No 5 Shrapnel $4.40 is 3 wins from as many starts second up. Have to respect as he is a nice horse. No 10 Irish Dream $7 just got there last start, left it very late but I can see Nolen getting her into a very handy place here. I think a big threat. No 1 First Command $5.50 was average first up, is a much better horse than that and do not right him off, very classy.
Race 8 – 1800mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.58pm
I am going for an outsider here being No 16 Our Affirmative $13. Is a Kiwi horse having its first start here in Australia and I have heard looks great. No 8 Midnight Martini $2.25 is too short for me. I have questions if she will handle the track condition. She did look good in the much harder group 2 last start working home but I think no certainty. No 10 Winged Charm $8 goes well at the track and distance and has been running well.
