Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Sunday 18th September 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.40pm

No 6 Riviere
is very well bred and in a good stable, made a decent debut before being put away and she is sure to be much better schooled here. No 11 Landuc a decent first up run, got going well late and extra metres should suit. For multiple players No 2 Elusive Burst and No 3 Estermac.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.15pm

A tough race here. You have No 12 Gliding that was scratched from The Guineas Prelude at Caulfield yesterday, Sydney form solid and if starts have to respect. No 6 Destiny’s Kiss found the line very well on debut. No 4 Theadmiralreturns a good first up run and found the line well. No 11 Xavi another that had a solid debut and should be better for the run.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.50pm

No 5 Godspeed
is nominated a few times over the coming days, is a $1.8 million dollar purchase and the colt just hasn’t lived up to expectations yet. I have watched all his runs and he does look a nice horse and is still very green but I am sure Moody will iron that out and he can still become a handy horse before a stud career. This is meant to be a kill for him if he starts. No 12 You Tell Me first up from the spell was solid looked to need the run as did lay in a little down the straight. No 4 Danichi I don’t mind his first race run, have watched the race a few times and give a chance. No 8 Polish is in the Cummings’ stable and nominated for the Caulfield Guineas and Cox Plate. First run at Ballarat did a bit wrong, wouldn’t settle early but did find the line okay.

Race 4 – 2200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.28pm

No 4 Surface Tension
a Galileo gelding won well last start, his first race in Australia not a lot of luck but last start sat a little wide early, moved to the lead into the straight and found the line well, lost a plate in the running and this distance and further should be no worries on breeding. No 5 California Valley has had plenty of chances of late, but I like Oliver being put on top here and I think he will give a plumb ride and may surprise. No 6 Metung Belle steps back in grade and could pick up her first win since September 09. No 1 Onerahi Bay forgive for last start, not a bad run as was wide most the way.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 03.05pm

This is a very average and weak race and advise to bet carefully or not at all. No 3 Tel Onnah won well on debut and then disappointed next two starts. Was sent to the paddock and sure to be better returning here. No 6 Agasha didn’t have much luck first two race starts, one was held up and couldn’t get clear running and the other raced too wide. Last start finally had a clear race and saluted well. Time nothing flash but this is also a weak looking race. No 2 Sutanoc for multiple players.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 03.45pm

A hard race for me. No 4 Penzevengi was scratched yesterday for this, a harder race this. Is well bred but struggled to show that breeding, did win well first up from the spell but not in fast time, did have to change course running home but found the line well. No 5 Cardio Beat is a very lightly raced 6yo. I watched all his runs last preparation and he is not so bad. I think probably the best horse from the videos I watched and markets will be a guide to how fit she is. No 9 Glorious Choice not a bad run back from the spell and should have trained on since then. No 7 Head Honcho a kiwi horse having its first Australian start. Form over there looks okay on paper but have to see how this transfers here.

Race 7 – 1500mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.25pm

No 4 Faltastic
gets back on top of the ground here and I think this will suit. Bendigo win really found the line well. No 3 Cosmonaut will be looking for much further and has been disappointing to date but give another chance in this easy race. No 8 Zeeyajimi was a little underdone first up looking at that run. I am sure that Smerdon will have him raring to go. No 2 Carnegie Dan is his own worst enemy many times but if on can run a big race.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.05pm

I look forward to seeing No 12 Testimony return here. I think he will be a better horse here even though his trial leading into this was average on a heavy track. No 4 Perfect Pecs is racing well and drops back in distance, keep him safe. No 8 Perian Moon last start pulled up lame, is better than that run and if right have to respect. No 6 King Of Mountains have to watch markets for support, can run a very smart race if right.
