Sale Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

Moody has a couple of first starters here and No 6 Aeronwy I like the breeding but this horse is going to be a mile plus and out to two miles maybe. Could be a cup horse down the road. No 12 Shihabi on breeding should sprint well but also get out to the mile with racing. Of the raced lot No 9 Firepit has been freshened and not a bad effort first time in blinkers last start. She is still green and learning. No 1 Crowns Mistress is racing well with the blinkers on last couple of starts but the weight is a test.

Race 2 – 1500mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 5 Dedication
in this field this should be a kill. She hasn’t been outstanding but is well bred and will bet better with racing and more distance. No 8 To Be Honest is another still with a lot to learn and will improve with racing. I am not sure if the wet tracks suited last couple of starts and need to give a chance. No 1 Bartholemew forget debut run as they walked in this early and he never had a chance being back in the field. Was solid in markets and give a chance. No 7 Set Value not the worse and a multiples chance.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

This is not a very good field at all here. No 7 Stroemsky gets a big chance here to break his duck. No 5 Queen’s Warrior looked to need that run back from the spell and was warning up late. No 4 Johnny Goodyear was first up over 10 furlongs from the spell but struck bad traffic near the bend and never got into the race. A handy stable and respect. No 6 Shinko Kai for multiples.

Race 4 – 2200mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 02.45pm

A weak race and No 1 Tide has changed states and stables and this could do the trick. Hasn’t set the world on fire to date. No 5 Maxmollieva is a real grinder and will grind this right out to the line. No 4 Clairwood last couple of starts have been good.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 03.20pm

Now this is a nice little race here. No 6 Churn and Burn is returning from his first spell after he won well on debut. He was well backed and gave them a lesson and I look forward to seeing how the paddock treated him. No 8 Joyeux also returns from the spell and will give this a mighty shake as much easier than most her runs to date. No 1 Sunday Wonder returned from the spell with an okay run, will be better for the run and should be a multiples chance. No 5 Lightenuff first up in this class don’t dismiss for multiples.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.00pm

Another interesting race here and No 1 Hot Power returned from the spell with a decent run, got away poorly and then ran into traffic around the bend but flattened out well late and I also think will appreciate the better track conditions. No 3 Whatanexcuse two solid runs back from the spell and last start a little unlucky as was wide with no cover early and took the lead on straightening and fought right to the line going down by a bob of the head. No 2 Phantom Brew returned with an okay run from the spell. Sat midfield and wide and then fanned wider into the straight but ran out of gas and should be better for the run. No 5 Molon Lave for multiples.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 1 Flyingconi
returns from his first spell after some promising runs. I do expect him to have matures a little and even though he failed his only start on the dead, shelve that completely as he seems handy. Trial run I watched and he didn’t do a lot but go through the motions. No 8 Silver Falls returned from the spell and not a bad effort at MV. Had no cover mid field and got a cart into it wide and ground home well. Should be better for that run. No 6 Tycoon Rob scratched from Kyneton yesterday and a decent win last start at his third outing. No 3 Zellemsee for the multiple players.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs 0 - 72 Handicap – 05.20pm

And this is the best race for last for me. No 12 Lonhrielle I hope she starts here. Since trialing she scratched twice but would come into this good at the weights for me and can go well fresh. No 1 Emboldened has two solid city runs under the belt. Can carry weight and don’t discount. No 2 Exclusive Choice has been a cotton-wool horse. It is a shame as have not seen his best. Owners have changed stables and barrier trial he looked alright. No 14 Crawfish returns from the spell and drawn wide but has enough speed to cross these and it will just be the fitness.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

A couple of these horse I look forward to seeing over much further, at the least the mile and beyond on their breeding. The best on breeding for me to sprint but this horse will do better over further is No 5 Silver Trinket. No 3 Affable is the next best on breeding for this distance if you ask me. I really look forward to seeing this horse progress to the mile and beyond No 4 Danestroem and her trial run was good and she will give this a shake.

Race 2 – 1100mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 9 Exceedingly Rich (nom Fri,Sat,Sun,Mon) just went down on her Aussie debut, she will be tighter for the run and Nolen on top here. She could start later in the week just have to wait and see but respect her. No 13 Esprit Rossa a nice run here at the track last start. Did plenty wrong in the run and was also held up early in the straight. Did find the line well when she finally found her feet. No 6 In The Pocket (nom Fri,Sun) is his own worst enemy. He is still learning and believe he is better over more distance so will probably start Sunday at Ballarat over 1400mtrs. No 10 Miss Muja (nom Sat) forget last start as raced wide and also didn’t handle the conditions I think. No 7 Soaked (nom Thur,Fri,Sun,Mon) not without a claim. With the scratchings and track conditions throw in No 8 Crown Mistress as light with the claim and should handle the going.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 6 Magisterial
(nom Sun) look if starts keep a very close eye on markets as he is well bred and maybe his first race run just didn’t handle the conditions or racing. He was never supported in markets and looked a little green. I am sure he will be better. No 11 Recited is another that will be better on top of the track and Price will have her ripped and ready. No 10 Magic Journey a decent debut run on a slow track and dove late. Should have trained on. No 4 Tye Rock returning from his first spell should be better schooled. No 12 Stay And Play with conditions now comes into play.

Race 4 – 1717mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

No 2 Danezare (nom Fri) if starts here should break his duck, this is his best chance for sure. No 7 Set To Excite (nom Fri) will lead or be right on the pace and be hard to run down. No 8 Suerose I expect a better horse than what we have seen on debut.

Race 5 – 1717mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 03.20pm

Another field with a lot of scratchings. No 1 Westonrubi (nom Sat) a decent run back from the spell, should have tightened up a little and also appreciate the extra metres. No 4 Fine Wine (nom Sun,Mon) was freshened and returned with a good run and will run the distance out. No 3 Banner is lightly raced and still learning and not going too bad. No 6 Naringaling will lead and give them something to chase down here. No 8 Captain Ladoni now in calculations with current conditions.

Race 6 – 17000mtrs 0 - 72 Handicap – 03.55pm

No 9 Grenada Road
(nom Sun) is sure to have filled out a little in the paddock and she looked good her first preparation. No 3 Bracken Lay (nom Sun) a good win last start, first up after being freshened he hit the running rail in the straight and his race was over. He looks nice watching a few of his runs. No 5 Spatha was back looking better last start winning. At MV the night racing didn’t seem to suit and he seems more than handy on his day. No 4 Don’t Wake Me can run a big race believe me and last start the time is slow but he can pick up more than a few lengths for sure. No 8 Head Honcho comes into things with the track conditions.

Race 7 – 1100mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 04.40pm

Only five runners after all the scratching and the best I can see is No 6 Prussian Power as handles the rain affected going. No 8 Capturethedream is first up from the spell and goes alright fresh.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0 - 62 Handicap – 05.20pm

Not an easy race to finish the day on. No 14 Two Sugars returned from the spell and a big plunge backed from $6 into $3.80 and saluted on the slow track, was a strong win and a big chance going on that run. No 10 Hugomania goes alright on the wet and returned from his first spell looking better. No 3 All Due Respect probably needed those first two runs looking at them and should be better here. No 12 Zamask is a bit of a mystery as since her debut win and put away she has come back for two last places. Just have to respect on breeding and watch markets. No 5 Kadena Lane is getting on in years but goes well in the wet.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

No 6 Gioe
if starts respect, debut was okay and will be better for the run, Boss stays on board and I think we will see a better horse. No 2 Dubawi’s Daughter is 13 starts and still looking to break through. Has the trial under the belt returning here and I think will run a forward race. No 5 Skitter both starts to date has not had everything go right, looks a nice country horse and if things all go well hard to beat. No 1 Dr. Ruth for the multiple players.

Race 2 – 1741mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.30pm

If No 12 Lipari starts here a huge chance for here to get her first win, has not been disgraced in much harder races and I like what I have watched of her, she looks nice. No 13 Pentimento a decent debut, got stuck ona limb midrace and came wide in the straight and flattened out nice late. No 3 Island Home really started jumping out of the ground late last start. Multi players No 5 Master Invader.

Race 3 – 1013mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.00pm

Small field here going around, No 5 Shanghai Warrior has trialed well and need to respect as this is not strong. No 7 Halle Rocks is nominated on Thursday as well and I look forward to seeing her race. She is well bred; her dad was a very good sprinter and her mum not so bad either.

Race 4 – 1213mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.30pm

Another weak race here, No 11 Sabres I am more than willing to give a chance, returning from the spell did a bit too much work early on wide, fought hard and sure to be fitter here. No 1 Asphalt will have his first race start here. Watch markets as should go alright fresh. No 12 Caesour’s Promise on breeding will probably want further but mum was handy over 6 and 7 furlongs early in her career. For multiple players No 4 Chad has been finding the line well.

Race 5 – 1213mtrs Class 1 Handicap (apprentice jockeys only) – 03.00pm

No 2 Ra Ikane
I remember watching his debut race win and thinking, nice! It wasn’t a great time but the way he won, striding out to a 6 length lead and just getting them all off the bit and nothing made ground. Will have to watch markets for support. No 1 Gazardiel give a chance; just run down late last start. Should be fitter and nice bred horse. No 3 El Blazing Time not the worst here. Peter Moody has No 6 Heavenly Wonder nominated here, if starts watch markets as they will be the guide, this horse has been disappointing to date.

Race 6 – 1524mtrs 0 - 72 Handicap – 03.30pm

No 6 Sean Baile Mor
if starts is the class horse, well above these for me. Is nominated for the Melbourne Cup but I think that is a pipe dream. No 4 Kudeta has been up a while and not sure if will start here or Saturday, still no jockey allocated yet. If starts a chance in this weak race. No 4 Hotham Heights should be around the mark.

Race 7 – 1741mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 2 Portland Success
surprised with a first up win back from the spell. It was a good win to as sat wide and still hit the line really well. Will only be better stepping out in distance and looks hard to beat. No 11 Rampling I am more than willing to give her a chance. She is light and did run on alright in the straight last start. I think the extra 300mtrs will help her. No 4 Godfather is better than his first three Victorian runs suggest. For multiples No 8 No Jay Vee.

Race 8 – 1424mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 5 Mudslide
has drawn wide here will settle midfield, can lead but I think there is a little bit too much speed inside. Looked decent last start finding the line. No 8 Zabillie you just have to trust the breeding after two average runs in harder grade. Returning from the spell and markets will be a guide. No 6 Stanzior and No 10 Speedy Emma for multiple players.

Race 1 – 1113mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.45pm

Keep an eye on first starters No 6 It’s Crunch Time (nom Thur) is well bred, No 11 Vankatcha also looks nice. No 3 Chad a good run back from the spell. No 4 Derryname give a chance.

Race 2 – 1213mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.20pm

This is a hard race and markets will be a good guide. Of the first starters I like the breeding of No 3 Jungle Man, No 2 Jamelden’s Dream I like the breeding but think more distance will suit. Of the raced lot No 8 Profit Margin going alright and No 10 Galvagin will be better for his first start.

Race 3 – 2237mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 01.55pm

No 5 The Southern (nom Tues)
if starts get on board as simple as that. For exacta players No 3 Sharqiya Sands.

Race 4 – 1622mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.31pm

Another tough race. No 6 Waahej I look forward to seeing this $600k plus gelding on the better track. Looks a nice horse with a good action. No 15 Al Qasr from the Moody camp should be better up here as disappointing first up. No 8 Blazing Destiny and No 4 Renounce also chances.

Race 5 – 1742mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.06pm

A very hard race here with many chances. No 8 Mr Molokai (nom Wed) if starts here much better for the two runs this preparation. No 11 Bel Rhythm a very good run last start as did have trouble in the running. No 12 Law and Order is another that didn’t have a lot of luck last start. No 14 Naadji (nom Mon) the first emergency a chance for multiples.

Race 6 – 1213mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 03.41pm

Don’t discard No 2 Karoo as after the let up sure to be fresh and ready to go here. Also No 1 Uno No worked home well last start.

Race 7 – 1424mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.16pm

No 6 Carnegie Dan
will appreciate the extra metres and is going to be hard to beat here. No 9 Impulsive Business drops back in distance and I think this will suit. No 1 Viallico has been freshened and can sprint. No 2 Chilled by Choice for multiples.

Sale Horse Racing Tips

Sorry for the late tips, Blogger has again been down.

I am not a fan of wet tracks, unless I have good mail I don’t bet a lot on heavy tracks. Tomorrow at Sale there are some first starters I am looking forward to seeing. I have had some mail for a few tomorrow but will wait until track conditions in the morning as this will be important.

Race 1 – 1100mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.01pm

No 7 Stratumsphere
has drawn badly but I like the breeding. I also like No 1 Coach Stone but I think this horse will be better over more distance but is nicely bred. Keep an eye on the markets as they should go well first up No 9 Very Certain and No 11 Graceland (nom Mon).

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.31pm

No 3 Checks
made a nice debut, was held up a little on the turn before hitting the lead but weakened late, will be much better for that run, well bred. No 5 Flyingconi ran a good race at Ballarat on debut, hit the line hard striding out and just missed out, a nice action. No 10 Luckycent returned from the spell with an unlucky run, was wide all the way and also bumped in the straight late, went to Mornington and was well supported at every call and flew home to just miss out. No 2 Bongiorno is better than his form suggests, breeding is better than that. The change of stables could be just the thing to turn things around.

Race 3 - 1700mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.06pm

These maiden races are hard, I like No 11 Secret Stealth even though drawn barrier 17, I have watched all 4 runs this preparation and has ran into trouble each race. I like Nikolic back on board here and this horse looks to have plenty in the tank. No 13 Heavenly Dreams is another horse that has caught my eye watching the video. She has really found the line well both starts and the extra distance looks to suit. No 3 Arms Deal has been sent out favourite last 4 starts being the bridesmaid three times, Nolen getting on board could be the difference. No 5 Cottonwood not a bad debut, has changed stables and gets blinkers here so respect as nicely bred.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.41pm

No 2 Kinbred (nom Sun)
has done things wrong both starts to date, I like Walker on board here and if gets away well will be hard to beat looking at the video. No 4 Phantom Brew has drawn 17, if he had drawn inside of 8, I would probably have him on top here. Watch the video of his debut here at this track it was an eye opener. No 1 It’s Legion (nom Sun) ran a decent trial on a slow track, chance for multiples. No 14 Dicko’s Dream from the Moody camp, gets stable jockey Nolen on board here and could be the big improver.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.19pm

No 10 Moment To Saviour (nom Tues)
returned from his spell with a good win, goes well second up and if starts could be pretty short. No 13 Regimental Dance (nom Fri, Sun) is another that goes well fresh and if starts respect. No 7 Momuntai Momuntai this is easier than last few races and could be around the finish. No 3 Cip Cip Hooray needed that first up run, will be fitter here. No 11 Magic Tartan (nom Sun) drops way back in class but not sure if will handle the track.

Race 6 – 2200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.54pm

No 8 Merryvale
drops well back in class here after a very good run last start at Caulfield. Stays down in the weights and big chance here. No 11 Cartago at this weight is sure to run a forward race. No 4 Desert Control (nom Sun, Mon) two wins in a row after the freshen up and a chance again on current form. No 10 Umatain a good front running start last race, chance for multiples.

Race 7 – 1100mtrs 0 – 68 handicap – 03.30pm

I really don’t like this race, a lot of glue pots getting about here. I watched a lot of videos and the best I can recommend is No 10 Westella Magic is a lightly raced 4yo mare, watched her last three runs before the spell and she looks the best to me by a bit. No 11 Baltic Spirit has again been unlucky with a wide barrier, ran a good race last start after settling last. No 9 Octavanus has drawn barrier 20, will come in with scratchings and will be doing best work late.

Race 8 - 1700mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 8 California Valley
a nice run first up, will be fitter and better suited over more distance. No 11 King Oliver (nom Sun) is first up but I am sure Kent will have him ready if he starts. No 14 Mesmerize Me (nom Mon) a chance on the heavy track. No 12 Lopov if backs up from a week ago keep safe for multiples.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.55pm

No 9 The Counterfeiter (special) (nom Sun
) if starts should break his duck here. Won his trial back on the 21st and has been in some harder races first preparation. No 2 Secret Stealth give a chance as first up last start not much luck, ran some good races first preparation. No 3 Bustaringer (nom Sun, Mon) if starts a chance for multiples.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 2yo Handicap – 01.30pm

No 4 Pump It
looks like this distance and further will suit after working home well last start. No 8 Seat One Aye also from Freedman does not have a jockey nominated yet, if starts also a horse on breeding that will like the extra metres. No 7 Chieftain Jack (nom Sun) was disappointing on debut but give a chance. No 5 Raffles Pegasus has been racing well.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.05pm

This is a hard race as most the raced lot look very average. No 1 Lincoln Green has two decent runs under the belt. First starters have to watch markets for money moves. No 7 Super Casa (nom Sun) is unseen. No 8 Yamavite and No 13 Altruism (nom Sun) both from the Moody camp have trialed but were average. And the Hickmott runner No 2 External is nominated for 10 races in the next 5 days.

Race 4 – 1700mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.40pm

No 6 Integration (nom Sat, Sun, Tues)
I am glad I didn’t back him first up as Nicholas Hall disappointed me with his ride, actually he does this too often for me (look at yesterday’s ride on No Means Go). The horse was green indeed and was unlucky but follow wherever he starts. No 8 Rock “N” Roll King (nom Sat) looked alright stepping out to 1500mtrs last start and the better track also a plus for me. No 13 Deity Dane the further the better I think for this horse, give a chance. No 2 Backburn for the multiples.

Race 5 – 1500mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap - 03.15pm

No 1 Caribbea
sat back returning from her spell, usually she is leading or on the pace. She hit the line very well for a strong win. No 5 Youeffoh (nom Sat) returns from the spell, has trialed nothing special but respect. No 2 Heavenly Wonder (nom Sat) a nice win first up at Cranbourne, respect the stable. No 3 Sky Shower a chance for multiples.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.50pm

No 8 Sheahan (nom Sun, Tues)
a good win first race start, was a little green laying in under pressure but will be better for that run. No 6 manzanilla only once been out of the money in 7 starts. Been freshened and watch markets. No 1 Last Cash needed that first up run, will be better here for sure.

Race 7 – 1700mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 1 Karoo (nom Sun)
has been going around in harder races, drops back in class but I really like his last start, a big run. No 3 Cooper James (nom Sun) last two runs very good, last start a little unlucky and the extra metres will suit here. No 4 Stratocracy last start was good, big class drop but up in weight.

Race 8 – 2200mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.10pm

No 1 Star Delight (nom Sat)
is going alright in harder class races. No 5 Jac’s Pride (nom Sun) has two runs under the belt and both improving, a chance for sure. No 4 Count Lotus (nom Sat, Sun) a good win last start, might back up here a week later. No 8 Charli’s Phantom (nom Sun) I don’t know if will start backing up after 5 days, if starts watch markets.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 29th March 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

The Moe races were transferred here to Sale. It is a hard country meeting so keep an eye on markets.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

A few first starters here so watch markets closely for any moves. Of the raced lot No 13 Wabash River looked okay in her trial run. No 3 Lightenuff is running well. No 14 Bustaringer if he starts a big chance for me.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) - 01.30pm

Keep an eye on markets for any moves on the first starters. No 10 Torahka was a $175K dollar purchase just got too far back last start but did work home well and will be better for that run. No 9 Test The Best is a first starter, nicely bred and in a good stable. No 8 Raffles Pegasus was $100K purchase and gets blinkers here first time, needs to approve a bit though. No 4 Loot N Run not a bad debut.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.00pm

This is an average race to be polite. No 5 Need to Exceed I expect a better horse here than his first up run, he has been kept as a colt so they expect him to be better than that first run 156 days ago. No 12 Cicho keep an eye on markets, trial run was average but I expect better.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.30pm

Again this is an average race indeed. No 2 Cape Chauvel has not been anywhere near potential first few runs. No 3 Friend not such a bad return from the spell. No 9 Alice Alice around the mark a few runs to date. No 8 Canopy only 3 runs to date and not so bad.

Race 5 – 2050mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.00pm

No 4 Skybee is racing very well. No 1 Arvan has been around in much harder races, must respect any money moves. No 2 Our Aristocrat ran a decent first up run from the spell. No 3 Selecta Minoria for multiples.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.30pm

No 5 Toffrey returns from his spell and looks a nice horse. Finally picked up a win last start before his spell. No 7 Bell Trees returns from a 69 day let up, is a smart horse and respect. No 8 Club Zero watch markets as not so bad first two runs. No 4 Beasty Boy another nice horse and watch for support.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 1 Tuskegee Bomber is flying home, last two starts should have won as simple as that. No 2 Alfiler forgive last start as did do a lot of work early before tiring. No 6 Rapid Thrill is better than last start. No 7 Quizzicle Mis for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 2 Stax on Max a solid run back from the spell. No 1 McConnor is racing well. No 4 Jiminy Cricket is racing well.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1213mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.30pm

A few first starters here so watch the markets for support and moves. No 6 Tommy Two I like the breeding and should sprint well, ran 2nd to Artic Command and I like what I saw of him and sure to have come on since then. No 1 Caravaggio a first starter from the Freedman camp, a $200,000 purchase and should go well fresh. No 9 Tully Costa was a $250,000 purchase, trialed 3 times and made her debut at Sale on March 3, she jumped badly and lost a lot of ground. She was very green in the run came 4 wide on the turn and laid in around 150mtrs out but still made good ground. Gets blinkers on here for first time and I think will be a big help. No 8 Embark (nom Sat) from the Hawkes camp, give a chance and forget her first run.

Race 2 – 1213mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

Again some first starters getting about here, watch the markets for support and moves. No 6 Longlea Lad (nom Sat, Sun, Mon) has two trial runs and won his last one, had blinkers on in that trial and looked better with them on and keeps them on here. No 11 Blue Nile has scratched from two trial runs so unseen, On breeding should go well. No 9 Stroemsky I will give a chance as did have excuses first preparation in some runs, Boss has stuck with him. No 3 Jungle Rover (nom Sat) keep an eye on markets. No 1 Agent (nom Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues) watch markets.

Race 3 – 1213mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 7 Candy Stripes
has been around in much harder class races, she has been a little disappointing but she has shown some promise in her races that I have seen and willing to give a chance. No 1 Colonial Sensation if you watch both her runs back this preparation she has looked good. She has really motored home and if she gets cover a big threat. No 9 Miffy won her trial nicely and she looks a nice horse, look forward to seeing her here and watch support in the markets closely. No 13 Very Cherry drops way back in class here, is first up and needed her trial, she is definitely a horse that has talent and just needs to take that next step.

Race 4 – 1422mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 5 Holder (nom Sat)
has been around in much harder races and not disgraced. Forget his Werribee run as the speed was on early and just never settled, will be much better over this sort of distance for sure. No 12 Show of Heaven (nom Mon) has ran a trial but nothing special, have to respect the breeding and trainer and give a chance. No 4 Funded (nom Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues) is nicely bred and I look forward to seeing when he starts. No 1 Friend is first up and should run well, it is good to see Noel Callow back and hope he gets into the winners circle more often. No 2 American Jet won his trial and then went to Wangaratta but never got going until too late.

Race 5 – 1213mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.45pm

No 11 Xian (nom Sat)
I like this horse a lot, ran 4 lengths off Sunday Rose a little while back and impressed me, since then has been frustrating watching her trial run and I have been told she looks good. No 1 Club Zero (nom Sat, Sun, Mon) an impressive win at Kilmore on a slow track on debut, was well supported in markets and lead and fought hard to hold on. No 4 Rorke’s Drift returned from the spell with a strong win, hot line hard with a good margin. Will push for the lead for sure from this barrier and run a forward race. No 9 Sendari will lead and make it an honest race and take chasing down.

Race 6 – 1213mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 8 Quadruple (nom Sat, Tues)
I like his last run, led at a good speed and was only run down very late, I think he has a chance of stealing this. No 2 Absolute King (nom Sat) returns from a long spell and will be better for his first preparation. His Kyneton win was very good. Watch markets for support. No 5 Magnificent Force hasn’t been disgraced in harder races and won a trial in good time on March 7th. No 1 Energized first start on Australian soil, watch markets for any support or moves.

Race 7 – 1722mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.57pm

No 9 Shiny Buttons
needs runs under the belt and she has two now. Will appreciate the extra metres and the weight drop with the class rise. No 1 Success Dostta will give a chance stepping back up in distance. No 3 Arvan not disgraced in two group 3 races over 2000 – 2200mtrs, have to respect. No 8 Richoman is racing well for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1722mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.37pm

No 3 Thebestmoneycanbuy
won well last start and should have won at Ballarat as well the start before but threw it away ducking out terribly losing all momentum and then flying again late to just miss. Led for a strong win last start, nothing made ground. No 4 Tuskegee Bomber is another horse racing well and need to respect, gets blinker here for the first time and will help with the horse laying in and out. No 6 Clearway no doubt has been a disappointment as a $575,000 plus purchase. Give a chance here as fist up run from the spell not so bad. No 2 Encosta Rica (nom Mon) is another that has been disappointing costing $300,000, is not so bad over this distance and further and should be around the finish.

Race 9 – 1422mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.17pm

No 4 Aussie Public (nom Sun)
won well his first run on Australian soil. Looked very nice and will be hard to beat on that run. No 2 Second Effort drops back in class here, has been a little disappointing after the way he started his career, give a chance as wouldn’t take a lot to lift and win this. No 8 Flash Gift (nom Tues) keep an eye on the markets for support as he can run a decent race and money will tell us where he is. No 14 Terphsichore (nom Sun) is an emergency but should get a start if she wants, last two starts have been very switched on and she is light.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Thursday 3rd March 2011

Race 1 – 1108mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

Watch markets as Peter Moody has a nicely bred horse No 8 Star Salute a $100,000 dollar purchase first up maybe but is nominated Saturday. No 3 Storm Cell $200,000 purchase another Moody first starter and Nolen has chosen to ride him.

Race 2 – 1108mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

This is an average race. No 7 Colonial Sensation ran a good first up race, was caught wide all the way but found the line well. No 8 Little Flame was a little green first up, did work home well in the straight and will be better for that run. No 9 Evil Eye give a chance as was never on the track her first run. No 2 Our Ernest is a first starter so keep an eye on markets.

Race 3 – 1419mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 5 Muktashef has been gelded during his spell, this will surely make a big difference. He was a $650,000 purchase and I look forward to seeing him race here. No 10 Grenada Road from the Moody camp was a $400,000 purchase (nom Sat, Sun, Mon) I would have preferred to see over something a bit shorter but watch markets for any moves. No 6 Paramour is well bred and looked better schooled first up from the spell, made nice ground and will be better for the run. No 12 Variate ran a good race last start, was wide early and went to the front on the turn and was run down about 50mtrs out, a good run.

Race 4 – 1419mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

No 7 Appeasing (nom Sat, Sun)
gets blinkers on for the first time here, she will be better for her two runs and last start did show some promise. No 8 Arizona Miss is very well bred, both mother and father smart horses but I want to see and should be a nice stayer if all goes well. Was a cheap buy of around $60,000. No 12 Madam Redoute has been disappointing to say the least, last start forgive and give a chance as was off the track and never got a chance to get into the race. No 2 Just Grand has a nice trial win under the belt in good time so watch markets closely.

Race 5 – 1208mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.20pm

Finally away from the maiden races, some fillies here I want to see run. No 2 Bellantina Mick Price and Boss team up, this preparation the horse looks very nice. Two big wins and the Moonee Valley run could have been a lot better placed with a better run. Last start win a beautiful ride and from about 120mtrs out put 5 and ½ lengths on the field. No 3 Queen Delight (Nom Sun) was scratched from Sandown yesterday, might step up the 1200mtrs first time here. Has two strong wins in a row, last start by 6 lengths in good time on the slow track. No 5 Margiela has been disappointing for sure, she was a $650,000 purchase and I am hoping the first 4 races of her career and the spell she will come back a better schooled horse. No 1 God Help Her respect first up but has weight to carry.

Race 6 – 1208mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.57pm

No 5 Arco Iris (nom Sat)
I am going to forget last start as I have watched his other two start this preparation and both have been good. No 10 Paris Memory (nom Sat) ran an okay trial against Vareena Miss back on the 10th of January, so has been in work for a while and should be ready for this. She was a $400,000 purchase and just hasn’t performed to date but should be better here. No 1 Still Dark (nom Sat, Sun) is racing well and last start was better than it looks on paper. Was wide throughout but stuck on in the straight. No 9 Salamander Bay if you forget her last start where she pulled up a bit sore after the run, and her run at Pakenham where she finished 10th as she did over-race a long way and shifted ground a few time, she looks like a half decent horse. Her other two runs has found the line full of running and if all together will be a big threat.

Race 7 – 1008mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.37pm

Not a strong race at all here, No 3 Caribbea (nom Sun) from Kent has held her own in some tougher races, a big chance to get win number two here. No 2 Forward Miss (nom Sun) not so bad and should have a chance at the places in this field. No 1 Dante’s Flame (nom Sun) if you watch all her five runs this preparation not so bad but just not getting the 1000mtr distance out. No 5 Hilton Head, when this horse was purchased for $500,000 that were hoping for more than shown to date. Look she is impeccably bred, and watch markets to see if she is ready to go here.

Race 8 – 1619mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.17pm

No 11 Classic Cameo
is going for three wins in a row and has a chance for sure, strong last start and drops a kilo with the class rise. No 8 Smoke N Brandy won well first up and last start over-raced a little midway, made good ground to the turn but never hit top gear in the straight, give a chance. No 14 Monte Bella keeps the blinkers on after winning with them on last start. It is a slow time that win but they were dawdling along until Boss took control of the race with a good ride. No 4 Shiny Buttons had every chance first up but will be better here over more distance and sure to be fitter.

Sale Cup Horse Racing Tips Sunday 24th October 2010

The first three races are maidens, so watch markets carefully. At the moment a slow 6 but fine weather so an upgrade likely.

Race 1 – 1200mtrs – 12.25pm – Need to watch markets here. I am looking forward to watching No 1 Bokrah is well bred and in a very good stable. No 6 Josimar (Nom Wednesday) if starts watch markets for support as is smart.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs – 12.55pm – No 2 Dark Moon (Nom Wednesday) forget last start as was very unlucky, got caught on the rail and ended up last, before that I like his runs. No 10 Prince Myshkin has been in work for a long time, will be fit and last run wasn’t so bad. No 4 Irish Golfer ran a good race first up from the spell.

Race 3 – Nothing of interest but watch markets closely.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs – 02.05pm – No 2 Akihito $4.20 has a 1.5kg claim and was really finding the line well last start late. No 5 Shysta $5.50 is a solid horse and good record and must respect. No 1 Swift Bay $11 is carrying weight but chance for the place. No 6 Testapal $3.60 is the favourite and is smart and need to respect.

Race 5 – 2200mtrs – 02.40pm – No 11 Queen Asa comes off a highweight race, form is very solid and Boss on board a big plus. No 4 Indite from Crown Casino man Williams is a Zabeel and first up over 2000mtrs wasn’t such a bad run, will be fitter here. No 12 Shezaten is racing well and a chance.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs – 03.17pm – No 11 God Help Her did find the line well on debut, Nolen on board a bonus. No 2 Captura has come up against some good horses and been solid a big chance. No 1 Beyond Imagination won well on debut.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs Sale Cup – 03.52pm – No 10 Vesper $3 is going to be hard to beat (I backed early markets), come back from the spell and won with no effort, rider didn’t have to do a thing. No 13 Work the Room $4.80 is in good form back from the spell and finding the line well. No 4 Hanks $7.50 has taken on some of Australia’s better horses, is a smart horse first up and respect. No 2 Sadilbari $26 and No 8 Blue Oscar $26 for multiples.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs – 04.28pm - A good race, No 4 Niblick $2.40 has looked very good since returning from the spell and again hard to beat. No 10 Golestan $4.40 is going to be better suited the more metres and will get a good cart into the race with the speed on early. No 9 Chatrang $6 is another horse finding the line very well. For multiples No 11 Miss Chatter $6 and No 8 Jestarossa $31.

Race 9 – 1200mtrs – 05.08pm – No 4 Moon Walk won on debut before being spelled, it was eye catching the way he got out of the ground late hitting the line flying. No 2 King Cobweb is carrying weight but can do this. Has plenty of pace and been freshened. No 8 Mews is better than his form, is well bred and the weight drop will help. No 7 Fappiano’s Lad ran a very good race first up in Victoria.

If you want to know what I am backing, leave a comment and your email. It won’t be published and I will send through my bets and also my best multiples for the day.
