Seymour Horse Racing Victoria Australia. Thursday 17th June 2010.

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Seymour Races 17th June 2010

The first 6 races are all maidens and I will try and steer you in the right direction.

Race 1 – 11.05am – No 10 Troubleshooter is an interesting runner, has changed hands from Gai Waterhouse to Mick Price. This horse ran two excellent trials way back in January 09 over 900mtrs but then disappointed when racing. He has since been gelded so expect a different horse. No 4 Highly Regarded is close to breaking through for his first win, was solidly back last start but distance seemed a little too far this early in career, back to 1200mtrs and the way he was finding the line over shorter distances this looks a much better trip. No 3 Fossicking was disappointing last start but a betting move was made so watch markets again and track conditions better. No 14 Repetitious ran a solid debut and hit line hard over 1100mtrs.

Race 2 – 11.35 – No 2 Farasi form looks terrible but when you watch his races he hasn’t done a lot right or had a lot of luck. Is well bred and opened his career against the top galloper Denman being smashed off the track. Has blinkers off for first time and also no barrier blanket either. No 3 Golden Jeuney will have to be watched first up, his dad did win over 1200mtrs first up before going on to be a champion stayer. No 12 Gail a first starter needs to be watched in the betting. No 10 Crosshairs from Mark Kavanagh watch betting closely

Race 3 – 12.05pm – No 12 Miss Yappa (nominated 22nd at Kyneton) ran a good first up race in Echuca, was well supported and raced wide all the way and was also unbalanced but weakening horse shifting ground in the straight. No 11 Jindga has found the line all 3 runs this preparation, having Yendall on board a big plus. No 2 Bensky is a horse that could be the big improver. Is back after 217 day break so watch markets.

Race 4 – 12.35pm – No 3 Calippo can be forgiven for her first up run, was hampered when starting by another horse and then couldn’t get clear on the bend with no clear runs in the straight. Breeding suggests better than this. No 7 La Phillyharmonic out of the strong Kent stable. This horse was scratched at Geelong back on the 10th and she was supported last start but failed and spelled. I expect a much better horse here. No 6 Jac’s Pride from David Hayes is out of Don Eduardo (A Zabeel colt) will probably need longer breeding suggests to me, his dad did win over 1300mtrs and ran some good races over 1400mtrs. No 2 Bon Delicieux has Zahara on board for the first time but will need to lift going on past and present form but with this jockey it is possible.

Race 5 – 1.10pm – No 3 Camago Cat (nominated Sunday Bendigo) last start was a shocker and forget, Tried to buck rider off at the jump, then raced wide with no cover, before at only race start was a solid 3rd over 12oomtrs and being a Scaredee Cat should like this distance. No 6 I’m Outspoken (nominated Saturday Sale, Sunday Bendigo) has run 3 good races this preparation. Rattled home weaving through horse last start after losing 2 lengths at the start being tightened for 2nd and Boss on board. No 2 By The Ears (nominated Sunday Bendigo) from Ken Keys and Zahara on board is a better horse than his last race. His first start he ran a very solid race.

Race 6 –1.45pm - A big watch on No 15 Zafir Adiva opened short at $3.30 on debut but drifted to $8 with no support showing that she wasn’t ready to win. She is a Cape Cross so 1600mtrs or more should be perfect and in her first race she actually looked good. Watch markets closely. No 2 Ellezorez is racing well as the distances have increased this preparation. Is finding the line well and so close to a win and a big chance here. No 4 Flash O’Brilliance found the line well at his 3rd race start and breeding suggest (Royal Academy) he will like this distance. No 9 Titus Tatius a Show a Heart gelding has no doubt been very disappointing for connections and trainer. Had two trials before this preparation before running 4th but was checked and hung out. Could be the big improver with fitness and that run.

Race 7 – 2.20pm - No 2 Mann Almighty has a terrible barrier (17) but won impressively last start over 1400mtrs and supported very well from $1.70 into $1.60. Hit the line flying to get there. No 3 Margrave from Snowden and a Lonhro gelding, Snowden has been patient as always and here he puts winkers on for the first time and this will help this horse a lot as he ran about in the straight last start. No 7 Hef finished his race off well last start to get a win and being out of King’s Best this trip with 300mtrs should suit beautifully. No 15 Imprudence looked smart winning last start and the step up in distance should suit by breeding. No 4 Mateo 2 very good runs back this preparation and will sure to be coming home fast.

Race 8 – 2.55pm – No 5 Sheedy is much better than his last 3 starts suggest. This horse has plenty of speed and wil sure to be very fit now and will be hard to hold out. No 6 Silky Smooth comes into this light, has been carrying 57 – 60kgs but here just 53.5kgs. Will be sure to give this a shake. No 3 Tan Tat Jet is racing well and will soon be spelled for sure. Rattled home last start for a good win and at this weight a big chance.

Race 9 – 3.30pm – No 4 Shinning Bullet (nominated 22nd Kyneton) has two good runs this preparation and now up to a suitable distance at the 2000mtrs being a Galileo. Was well supported last start and expect him to be strong to the line. No 5 The Big Steel (nominated 22nd Kyneton) over raced last start but still found enough to win, now Boss is on board and one of the best distance jockeys there is. No 9 Onerahi Bay (nominated 18th Kilmore, 22nd Kyneton) should be looking for this trip and beyond to 2400mtrs.

Race 10 – 4.10pm – No 12 Lucky Shot is second up and not a good record at this but looked good the way he fought hard first up and much better for that run. He does have plenty of speed. No 9 Glasovit has plenty of speed and may zip and push for the lead from barrier 14 and then set a genuine pace and hold these off. No 2 Sherpa has an excellent record over the 1000mtrs and will be right in this. No 5 Nate is up a little in weight but also has good speed.

Quadrella numbers races 7,8,9,10

2,3,4,7,15 / 3,5,6 / 4,5,9 / 2,5,9,12 at a cost of $180 a unit
