Tatura Horse Racing Victoria Australia. Friday 18th June 2010.

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Tatura Races 18th June 2010

The races were moved from Kilmore to Tatura because of the track. It is still a slow 7 so will be looking for mudlarks.

Race 1 – 12.14pm – This is a very weak race and all these horses are average at best. So I am going for the first starter No 8 My Liberty Belle, is out of Statue of Liberty and he had some speed and Hall on board looks good to me. No 6 The Majority has shown some fight in his runs. No 5 Seguro ran 1.9 lengths to Kidnapped over 1400mtrs and lead for the first 600mtrs.

Race 2 – 12.49pm – No 6 Strategic Spell out of Strategic who won 5 out of his first 6 race starts.Strategic Spell last start had a huge run, if you haven’t seen the race. Got onto the heels of a tired horse, got held up at least 6 strides in the straight, had to check off the heels and then laid in. Was solid in the market and the extra metres look excellent for him. No 4 Major Event a first starter from Russell Cameron looks nicely bred and should have speed as his dad had plenty of speed. No 7 Zeeyajimi from David Hayes, he has been very patient with this horse. It first trialed in September 09 and was put away after a poor performance, then trialed again on the 24th May 2010 running a decent race. Was scratched on the 10th of June at Geelong so watch betting. Looking at breeding would prefer longer.

Race 3 – 1.24pm – Another tough race with plenty of average horses. No 1 Bold Truce (nominated 22nd Kyneton) has improved each start this preparation. Last start was working to the line very well. No 2 Eldoni (nominated 22nd Kyneton) also found the line well last start, was laying in but still making ground. No 9 Lagonissi (nominated 22nd Kyneton) from Moody hasn’t done anything fantastic her two starts but wouldn’t be surprised to see a much better race here. No 4 Magnetic East (nominated 22nd Kyneton) is from Jeune and has nothing to show from 8 starts but maybe this distance will be more to the liking.

Race 4 – 1.59pm – No 8 Rampart looks like he has been sent here for a kill. He is a better horse than his form suggests. Both races has been in the lead and last start raced wide and also got galloped on. No 10 Bellantina is a first starter who won a trial and is out of Bel Esprit so respect. No 5 Halo’d Be Thy Name out of God’s Own and had speed. No 6 Hovercraft is probably going to want a bit longer than this.

Race 5 – 2.34pm – No 6 Mahmentum had two solid race starts before failing on the very heavy track last start. Will be sure to be right in this with a better track. No 7 Coppalrossa won impressively last start and stays at the same weight. No 1 Darwin was scratched at Flemington on the 5th, is a good horse and a chance even though the big weight. Any scratchings No 2 Cugat King for multiples.

Race 6 – 3.09pm – No 8 Distillery won for me last start and I believe he can again. No 10 Mokobaesi Miss won first up well and has a good 2nd up record. No 5 Beerwinespirits is coming back from a 240 day break but also nominated the 19th and 24th. Is a smart horse with a very good record at this distance so if starts watch markets.

Race 7 – 3.44pm – No 8 Forge has very good form around this distance and Newitt on board looks good to me. No 3 Turantino is coming back from a spell but has a 1550mtrs trial under his belt. No 2 Ready and Willing is a lightly raced 5yo and has been scratched twice since his last run and goes okay at this distance.

Race 8 – 4.29pm No 10 Podsnap won well first up and Zahara on board will again be hard to beat. No 7 Mitchener from O’Brien and Hall on board has to be watched and will be coming home hard. No 9 Bussan Boy is also running solid races.

Quadrella Numbers races 5,6,7,8

1,2,6,7 / 8,10 / 2,3,5 / 7,9,10 cost $72 a unit
