Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 6th July 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips

A slow 6 track with rain and showers predicted so a chance of heavy or worse track.

Race 1 – 3300mtrs 0 - 120 Hurdle – 11.55pm

A hurdle race and I have no interest at all.

Race 2 – 1300mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 12.35pm

This is a small field with the scratching and No 2 Ben Zena 1.80 (nom Sat) looks a step above these. I backed at $2.05 but there is a good chance he will start Saturday from what I have heard. He looked to have a few cobwebs at Morphettville before blowing them away at Moonee Valley. No 5 Massoni $4.20 a good win last start as was wide but too strong, this is a step up though. No 6 Darbu $8 is his own worst enemy, if he could run straight and keep out of trouble he would give this a shake.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.15pm

A small field and if No 1 Minnie Mah $4.60 (nom Sat) is right will give this a huge shake. I haven’t been able to find out too much about how she is looking but she is smart. No 4 Glamour Rock $2.10 (nom Sat) it was an impressive win back from the spell at Seymour, and she was beaten by Minnie Mah but was held up in this race. These two will finish first and second. No 6 Magic Rhythm $14 for the multiple.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 01.45pm

No 2 Abberant $2.50
with the 3kg claim is going to be hard to beat, will be fitter here for sure. I am looking forward to seeing the well bred No 6 Chateau Margaux $5 (nom Sun), from what I have heard she will start here and the breeding is exciting, will really like to see her as she steps up in distance. Any markets moves get on board. No 1 Gone Skiing $4.80 I want to see him run a trouble free race for once, he looks a nice horse but seems to find trouble and do things wrong.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.25pm

There is no reason No 1 Gossip Girl $2.30 can’t make this three wins in four races. She drops back in class and goes up in weight but the 2kg claim will be a big help. It was her first time past 1200mtrs last start the only thing is the track might not be as heavy. No 2 Winged Charm $4.20 watch both her runs this preparation and you will see she has not had much luck, she doesn’t have a lot of speed inside her and I think will get across easy maybe one off outside Court Ya that will probably lead. No 5 Our Poeticprincess $8.50 returned with a nice win and second up strong so multiples a chance for sure. Keep No 3 Reconcentrate $4.80 safe in the multiples.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 03.00pm

No 4 Population $5.50 (nom Sat) doesn’t know how to run a bad race, is primed I have heard and looks great if he starts here. No 5 Testacana $4.40 everything is pointing to him and the extra metres should suit but will have to run Population down. No 12 Baron $5 ran a good race back from a long spell. I think will probably want further than this but respect. No 3 Neat & Nice $8.50 (nom Sat) if starts keep safe in multiples.

Race 7 – 2100mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.35pm
This is a two horse race as simple as that. If one of these two does not win I will be absolutely gobsmacked, even if they don’t run one and two. No 1 Miss Lily Rose $2.40 is a classy horse, she should have won more races but that is racing. She looked really good last start and stepping out to 2100mtrs a bonus for me. Oliver gets on board and the cobwebs will be blown out here third start back. No 2 Picalero $2.60 kicked the wall in the tunnel going out to the Valley track last start, was passed to run and ran a race she did. For multiples throw in the field as a few have a chance. If I had to pick just one then No 8 Carnivale $26.

Race 8 – 2100mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.15pm

This is a very average race to finish. After looking at the form and some videos I could only pick two and they are both the favourites. No 1 Fieldmaster $2.35 has the two trials and two runs under the belt, did himself no favours last race and if he goes straight sure to be hard to beat even with the big weight. The other pick is No 4 Easton $4 has had plenty of chances this preparation but just hasn’t gone on with it, I think Fieldmaster will be too good but one of the gluepots could be ripped and ready to go.
