I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Last night my $100 bet saluted at Moonee Valley in Race 5 No 9 Pied A Terre at $3.70 so that makes $500 invested for a $310 profit after 5 days. Here I am going to have two $50 bets. $50 the the win in Race 5 No 2 Glacier King and race 7 No 3 Selingkuh.

Race 1 – 1013mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

I expect No 4 Bighorn returns from his first spell and I thought his run first time in blinkers was better before a poor run and then spelled. Returns fresh and hope he is better schooled. Smerdon’s other runner No 3 Muss to be better if returns here. One you just need to give a chance to. No 1 Flashanator has three runners up in four races and will be abig chance to break the duck.

Race 2 – 1216mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 3 Daddy Rooster
returns from the spell forget his debut run as he was very green and no support in markets so keep a close eye here. No 6 Patience is another horse I expect to be better returning from his first spell. No 7 Turf’s Pride not a bad debut as was doing best work too late. No 2 Beneficiary is one to keep a close eye on markets as looked alright in his trial leading into this.

Race 3 – 1216mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 9 Waalo
is to give a chance ticket to as has improved as a racehorse, returns from a long spell so keep a close eye on markets. No 12 Kiss McDove having her first start and she looked alright in her trials. No 1 Brynne will appreciate the extra metres and should varry the weight. No 13 Oracle another to just give a chance to and if any money moves respect.

Race 4 – 1620mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

Not a strong race so first starter No 2 Hornets’ Nest is nicely bred and could salute. No 7 Jumpin Joh stepped out to the mile for the first time last start and a good run. No 5 Unreal was green on debut and give him a chance card as should be better for the run. No 8 Mighty Serene has been racing very well of late.

Race 5 – 1520mtrs 0 - 58 Handicap – 03.20pm

A very poor race for me here. No 2 Glacier King is the big threat but the weight is the worry. Carried 58.5kgs two starts back well and looks best in this field to me by a good length or more. No 4 Picquart is an old fella racing well of late and a chance to add another win here. No 3 Gothic Crown a solid run last start and has carried big weights over the hurdles so respect. No 1 El Paros not without a show.

Race 6 – 1520mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.58pm

No 8 Seguro
looked much better stepping out in distance last start. Trainer has been patient this preparation. No 5 Richoman is going to be better for the two runs back this preparation and found the line well last start. No 6 Count The Diamonds a good run last start as was checked off heels and also raced tight and had to push between runners. No 1 Mr Molokai not such a bad run back from the spell and will be better for it for sure.

Race 7 – 1520mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.38pm

This is an open race for me and there are a couple of horses that have been a little down lately but wouldn’t take much to turn them around. No 3 Selingkuh a very good first up run in Victoria. Settled last and came wide on the turn but didn’t stretch out until the last 100mtrs and realy looked good. Extra metres should really suit. No 7 Grassy has raced well this preparation and last start a very good front running win. I thought she went too early and I thought she was gone 50mtrs out but held on. No 8 Princess Mossman returned with a good win and give a chance of running this distance out. No 4 Valpincon both runs back this preparation have been good and really found the line well.

Race 8 – 2031mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.15pm

No 7 Umatain
has no jockey nominated here. Maybe they are waiting to get Newitt booked on top as he has ridden her the last couple and she has raced well. If she starts a big threat. No 12 The Southern we haven’t seen his best and will be better for the runs and also more distance for me. No 2 Inabeauti is racing very well but I do thik will need to find a few yards here. No 10 Circle The Globe big win last start and racing very well and big threat.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1005mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

Definitely keep your eye on the markets here as there is not a lot to go on. On breeding for me No 2 Heater looks best to me for this distance, did trial worse than its stablemate in the same trial but take that with a grain of salt. No 5 Tiger Tales could have a bit of speed but probably another furlong would be better. Some of the others are nicely bred but I think they will need further. The raced horse No 3 Our Monashee debut run sat wide and looked a little green and maybe the track condition didn’t suit but did grind out to the finish.

Race 2 – 1005mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 1 Flashanator
two good runs to date and with the 3kg claim a big chance to break the maiden status here. The worry is will have to cross the field to lead but does have speed. No 8 koonoomoo she is ten starts without a win but has $65k in the bank. Must respect her. No 10 Zilch may start later in the week but is runs here I wouldn’t discount. Both starts back from the spell has used too much gas early racing on the speed but fought well to the line. The apprentice jockey is good and maybe can settle her a little better. No 6 Liveforthemoment I liked his debut but was very green and then a good run at Sale before two starts well out of class. Returns and watch markets.

Race 3 – 1207mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 11 Gracie Louise
after two good run disappointed a little last start but the jockey did report the horse’s action didn’t feel right. Both Ballarat runs were good and if brings that form a big chance. No 2 Made You Rock is a hard one as returned with a decent run but green, then over-raced and faded in the straight next start. Last start seemed to have every chance but need to keep an eye on markets closely with this stable. No 5 Seeing Stars is unseen and keep an eye on markets as could go alright fresh for sure. No 6 Sezwho has been freshened and all three starts have been okay.

Race 4 – 1508mtrs 3yo & up Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

No 4 Power O’Raylee
if starts will take some beating if you ask me. First up from the spell not much luck and not clear until way too late but had plenty in the tank. She would be even better suited if it got a little wet. No 8 Pediment has been supported last two start but fallen just short and sure to be around the finish again. No 9 Stay and Play a good run as did a lot of work in the run but fought right to the line to just go down. No 6 Greisen just keep an eye on markets as should be better than she has shown to date.

Race 5 – 2013mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 5 Kingdom Of War
has been a little disappointing for his breeding but still a young colt learning and his last two starts have shown me a glimmer of promise. Last start looked to be working into the race but run into a dead end and couldn’t finish it out. No 1 Inabeauti returned with a surprise first up win, looked good winning and no reason couldn’t go on here. No 3 Looklook does seem to like the sting out of the ground. Last start a good run and Nikolic back on top again. No 4 Mr Birchy with Rawiller on top will get every chance here.

Race 6 – 1005mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 03.55pm

There is plenty of speed in this race and leaders. No 3 Persona Grata has hit his straps last two starts for wins. The claim will help but I do worry about a speed battle with No 8 Daughter O’Fortune. These two are more than likely going to lead and if they don’t set a breakneck speed they will be hard to run down. No 7 Caribbea a good first up run back from the spell and sure to be better for it and another that will be right there at the finish. No 11 Fieryflirt with the 3kg claim only carrying 50kgs and she will more than likely try and toe across and lead and this may take a little too much out of her but she will fight hard at this weight.

Race 7 – 1508mtrs 3yo & up Fillies and Mares 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.35pm

No 2 Rainbow Queen
a decent first up from the spell. Didn’t have a lot of luck with clear running and could have been a lot closer and the 3kg claim will be a big help. No 1 Inscribe this is the best she has looked this preparation. Both runs have been promising and she has been freshened but will need to find a few extra yards for sure. No 9 Boulevard Betty a promising debut and then onto the tight MV track and failed terribly, maybe the track or outclassed but give a chance. No 5 El Rayo for multiple players.

Race 8 – 1207mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 05.15pm

A low 58 handicap to finish off the day here and it is average. No 3 Sauce on his Hamilton run a week ago I give him a chance as he was wide all the way but just went down late. No 4 Bennati I watched about 6 races of his and not a lot of luck in most and I think a big threat if stays out of trouble. No 8 Martinka is first up from the spell but should be forward as been in work a while and a good stable and jockey.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Friday 14th October 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1018mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

A tough maiden to start and watch markets for moves. No 3 Reparations returns from the spell. First two runs were decent, went up against Secret Hills who has gone on and become a handy horse. His last start at MV just forget as was a shocker and will be better schooled here for sure. Watch markets closely on first starters No 2 Ladretto, No 5 Wind in his Hair and No 6 Handcut. I wouldn’t rule out No 9 Sapphire Mistress as both her runs have been okay and Nikolic on top a good choice.

Race 2 – 1223mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

Of the raced lot nothing of interest at all. Keep an eye on first starters No 7 Deeming and No 11 Mango Mojito. No 4 Chick on a Roll watched the video and not a bad return from the spell.

Race 3 – 1527mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 1 Conserve
a decent debut working home well late and then spelled. Returns here and on breeding should want this and further. No 8 Tyro Godess has been freshened for a month and doesn’t look such a bad horse, good chance to break maiden status here. No 2 Jazz King forget the Geelong run, was wide and did a lot of work early went back and then pulled up lame. Before that was running well. No 4 Visit Us for multiple players.

Race 4 – 2044mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

No 7 Alice Alice
has a good run back from the spell, has only been over the 2000mtrs once before against Rain Shadow at Caulfield and just over raced and weakened, a chance for me. No 8 Beautiful Dreams watch markets as has been freshened and looks like a horse that could run this out. No 10 Invidia a good run last start as was wide most the way and fought hard right to the line. No 13 Rive Gauche is one to trust just on breeding, to date nothing flash but trust breeding.

Race 5 – 1223mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 4 Yellow Tagh
I would like to see them settle just off the pace and not lead and if they can do that he might pinch this. No 2 Flightmaster a good run last start, took a big bump around the 200mtr mark and wobbled a bit but finished the race well. No 9 Verification has run some decent races and unlucky to still be a maiden.

Race 6 – 1223mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 14 D’Oyly Carte
will get a start here if they want. Won on debut and spelled so watch markets. No 5 Braken Lay first start on the better going last start and looked good winning. Has been freshened and a big chance. No 1 Adaptor even with the big weight will run his heart out for sure.

Race 7 – 1018mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.40pm

On potential you cannot go past No 6 De Lilly Lightful, no doubt she is better than average and if you watch her run in the group 3 Champagne Stakes she did a lot of work and led till 100mtrs out but fought hard. I will give No 2 Tequila Queen a chance of an upset. Won on the heavy first up from the spell but I think will be better suited here on top of the ground. No 7 Ready as Elle will lead and make them chase her down. For multiple players No 5 Sky Shower.

Race 8 – 1527mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 05.20pm

A nasty race to finish the day. No 2 Mudslide has drawn off the track but will come in a little with scratchings. There should be a little bit of speed in the race and if he can tuck in nicely and get a good cart will be hard to hold out. No 3 Naringaling will lead and set a genuine pace I think. Not sure he can run this out but if he gets a few cheap sectionals could pinch it. No 1 Beacons has a couple of decent runs this preparation. And the old fella No 8 Hear Me Talkin for multiple players.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 3rd August 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Today something a little different as we are midweek racing at Mornington, it is a really nice track and if you ever get a chance go and watch the races live there.

Race 1 – 2019mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 12.30pm

I agree with the markets and it is hard to separate No 3 Buddy Amazing $4 and No 2 Stone Black $4 but I am leaning toward Buddy Amazing as I like the Caulfield run last start, could have finished a lot closer as was checked off heels badly and once straightened and balanced again looked good finding the line. For multiples keep No 7 Arch Pegasus $12 (nom Sat, Sun), No 8 Card Sweep $21 and No 6 Titus Vinius $6.

Race 2 – 3028mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 01.05pm

I am looking at a couple of outsiders here in this hard race for me, do not dismiss No 1 Kerdem $9 over the flat, would probably prefer a little more give in the track but sure to be fit and ready to go. No 13 King Oliver $15 a good run last start as did a lot of work covering extra ground and I am sure Kent will have him ready to go. No 6 Jumpin Jack Flash $5.50 should run this out as has been over 3000mtrs a few times. No 7 Our Chateau $7 and keep No 2 Geejayhaitch $4.60 for multiples.

Race 3 – 1611mtrs 0 - 78 Handicap – 01.40pm

Again after going over the form and watching videos that markets agree with me. No 4 Hotham Heights $2.40 (nom Sun) looks a good bet here, hasn’t run over this distance and this is a little worry but did find the line well last start. No 7 Zenawomann $3 (nom Sat) will run this distance out and both starts since the freshen up have been solid. Nice win last start as the short price favourite. No 6 Devil’s Quest $10 (nom Sun) and No 10 Delighted Owners $13 for the multiples.

Race 4 – 1611mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 - 78 Handicap – 02.18pm

No 9 Lady of the Lamp $2.40 (nom Sun)
I have already backed and from what I have heard will start here and will be better off in the much better ground. Has trained on well and looks good my little birdie said. No 1 Jalsah $4.80 (nom Sat) if starts must respect, can carry weight and sure to make a race of this. No 4 Melted $4.60 (nom Sat) is racing well and at this weight should be in this a long way. No 12 Corinella $16 (nom Sat) is the emergency but gets a start if the connections want and with Boss on top keep safe in multiples.

Race 5 – 1210mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.54pm

I am going against the favourite as I think too short. No 1 Garozzo $7.50 is at very nice odds, goes well fresh and will more than likely lead without too much pressure. I do look forward to seeing over more distance but Moody will have him ready to go. No 4 Sir Hallowell $2.20 (nom Sat) there is no doubt this horse has talent but needs to produce his Perth form and show us. No 7 Nohoaks $7.50 is a horse racing well and keep safe in multiples. No 12 Season of Fortune $10 for multiples.

Race 6 – 1210mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.29pm

No 2 Shabangabang $5
first up run was solid and will be better on the firmer track I think. Has some decent form last preparation against some good horses. No 5 Lady Pachira $10 (nom Sat) is another horse that I think will appreciate the better ground, a chance at nice odds for me. No 6 Mousseline $8 a good first up run at Geelong on the synthetic but I would like over more distance but keep safe in multiples. No 12 Red Savina $6 if starts is backing up after 6 days but a chance for the places.

Race 7 – 1008mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.07pm
The favourite should be hard to beat but a little too short for me and I still have a few questions marks over him as well. Value for me is No 10 Val’s Boy $18 I had a small nibble at $22 as this horse can sprint and if Smerdon has him ready will give this an almighty shake. No 1 Sarge In Charge $2.30 (nom Sat) if starts you have to respect off his last three runs. But I really have doubt he can carry the 57kgs to win, hasn’t done it to date. No 11 Cristallo $10 will be better for the first up run. No 3 Nate $6.50 (nom Sat) for multiple players.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Friday 1st April 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1013mtrs 2yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.25pm

No 8 Saint Angers
returns after her spell. She will be better for sure and did show she has talent her first few runs. No 7 Reena has a very good trial run under her belt, looked nice and not over stretched so watch markets. No 1 Avenue Montaigne (nom Tues) give a chance for the places. No 6 Itsyourbirthday (nom Sun) has one run that wasn’t so bad, was supported late at odds.

Race 2 – 1216mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

If No 9 Blue Lotus
starts sure to be short. Was transferred to Peter Moody’s stable from Gai Waterhouse, won a trial on the 21st and looked good doing so. No 11 Lady of the Garter give a chance, ran 4th in the trial to Blue Lotus and gets blinkers for the first time here. No 5 Rockfest (nom Sun) has two runs under the belt since coming from Sydney, they weren’t so bad. No 8 Belaura is first up and will be better for her first few race runs.

Race 3 – 1520mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 5 Jungle Ruler (nom Sun)
a decent first up run and extra metres will suit. No 6 King of Pop (nom Tues) came back from a long spell with an okay run. No 1 The Gifted One will be around the mark for the places. No 2 Delta Seigneur I expect to be better here.

Race 4 – 1520mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.10pm

No 2 Egyptian Lova (nom Thur)
has been going around in harder class, last start forget and give a chance. No 7 Eternal Sunshine (nom Tues) is a good chance for a win, last start did plenty wrong. No 4 Perlight (nom Thur) is racing well in easier class but last two starts for two wins and found the line very well. No 3 Kronstan give a chance as last preparation okay in harder class races.

Race 5 – 1216mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 02.45pm

No 4 Magnificent Force
has returned from the spell looking good, a good trial win and then had no luck at Sale and should have won that race. No 2 Club Zero won on debut before failing at Sale, was wide that run and just didn’t go on, give a chance. No 1 Blacko (nom Sun) is sure to be a threat going on form, a nice first up run and did race keenly there, will be better here for sure. No 6 Ohmygod returns from the spell, came across from Adelaide, won on the synthetic at Geelong and put away, watch markets.

Race 6 – 1520mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 2 Distant Ruler
goes up in weight but to me the best horse in this weak race by a few lengths. No 9 Sarembry (nom Tues) has two runs under the belt and should appreciate the extra metres. No 8 Nenagh (nom Tues) give a chance as was beaten by a much better horse last start in Ecdysiast. For the multiples No 4 Marashot (nom Tues).

Race 7 – 1216mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 4 Anklets (nom Thurs)
watch the markets closely as she returns from her spell and did win 2 races first preparation, nothing special but any moves go with it. No 7 Galaxy Light is another that you will need to watch markets on, is hit and miss but Ballarat win was good. No 2 Whitbread Lass (Nom Tues, Wed) is first up and keep an eye on support. No 8 Glenkinchie (nom Thur) for multiples. Keep an eye on No 9 Marvellous Miss (nom Tues, Wed, Thur) as if she starts she is the class horse in the race, been in much harder races and not disgraced.

Race 8 – 2031mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 5 Assertion
has been racing well in harder class races, sure to give this a shake. No 3 Bamboo Harvester should appreciate getting out to this distance and Froggy Newitt a good jockey. No 1 Meezah led at a good pace last start, got run over the last 200mtrs. If Callow gets a good cart into the race could be too strong in the finish. No 2 Acclaimed Chaos (nom Thur) if starts will be around the mark.

Race 9 – 2031mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 2 Cordillera
the Noonan boys team up here and a good win last start. No 5 Commonage Close (nom Thur) can sit or lead and will be around the finish for me. No 9 Whisper Her Name (nom Thur) two good runs in a row and Yendall sure to give her every chance. No 3 Van Halo (nom Mon, Thur) forgive last start was wide and got into a bumping duel, before that form good.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 16th February 2011

Race 1 – 1600mtrs Maiden Plate – 12.00pm

No 6 Domesky
has returned his spell with a solid first up run, met the very good looking Lohengrin who gave all a galloping lesson, he will be better for that run and also stepping up in distance a big plus. Has been around in some much harder races and a big chance to break his duck here. No 14 Timber Cat and No 5 Derisive both ran in the same race last start, both good performances coming from back in the field. I lean a little toward Derisive as did run into a little trouble in the run but Timber Cat also got pocketed in the straight. No 4 Almodovar returned with a good first up run, was up on the pace a little wide before fanning on the turn but never really got going but respect the stable.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 12.30pm

No 7 Kya
last start win is better than it looks on paper, was hampered badly at the start before mustering into a good position, then once straightening raced greenly and shifted out but managed to still find the line for a good win. A big run. No 3 Tycoon Express returns from a freshen up, I like what I have watched of him. Forget his last run as it was tough, too wide and just weakened out of the race, the run at Ballarat two starts back was an eye catcher, again wide and did a lot of work before finding the line for a good win. No 4 Zipit from Leon Cortstens won on debut at Hanging Rock, this is much harder but an honest trainer and watch markets. No 5 Marvellous Miss is returning from a spell, she could go well fresh her as she did win her trial over She’s Got Gears but will be better over more distance for sure.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Fillies and Mares 0 – 62 Handicap – 01.00pm

No 3 Glancing
from Kavanagh was expected to win last start and had every chance, she is expected to be a better than average horse and should want this distance, I think a big improver as the jockey did report that she wanted to lay in last start in the straight. No 10 Gypsy Rock (nom Fri) from Tinkler I would keep a close eye on the markets. Hasn’t set the world on fire to date but watching some of her Queensland runs she could be a good improver. No 6 Caprock I am going to keep a big watch on the markets and my friend at the track an ear on the ground, this horse has been miserable on wet tracks but last start on the dead showed some of her dad’s breeding, jumped away badly but motored home from the 200mtrs, looked good and I am keeping $500 each way for her. No 1 De La Laq has a terrible barrier, won on debut and will need Williams to ride a perfect race with this weight but respect.

Race 4 – 2000mtrs 3yo 0 – 62 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 3 Portland Success
a Savabeel gelding has two runs back this preparation and looked good winning last start, it was only Terang but worked into the race from well back and hit the line strongly, the time is good and if runs around the 2-04.00 mark should win this. No 8 Tully Tithe is racing well and this is a weak race, Maskiell claims 1.5kgs and sure to be in the finish. No 5 Mr. Consolidator last start forget and give a chance, was away badly and never really got going, breeding is okay for distance and his mum won over 1900mtrs in NZ I think and with Oliver on board sure to get every chance. No 1 Luckyi’mbarefoot is carrying weightbut been around in group and listed races much harder than this.

Race 5 – 1500mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.10pm

No 1 Danz Boy
(nom Fri night) has a bad barrier and up in weight but is racing so well, if he starts here he will need a little luck but is flying a chance for sure. No 9 Lonhreign should be favourite for this and maybe a little short but did run a big race last start, was badly away and then caught wide with no cover the entire race. Fought hard all the way to the line. No 7 Buster McGee has drawn wide but the 3kg claim a bonus and with some luck should come home strong. I have liked what I have watched of him. No 2 Elite Spy has come back from the spell racing well, will be fit and sure to give this a good go.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 2yo Inglis Premier Set Weights – 02.45pm

The young horses are stepping out in this 250K race. No 12 Amour Cache $5.50 (Special) from the Moody camp has drawn a much better barrier and if you watch this race you see she was 10 wide the first 300mtrs and unable to cross before dropping in behind the field. At the 400 switches around heels again coming 7 or 8 wide and from the 200mtr on starts to motor. A big run and very impressive. No 1 Delago’s Lad $4.40 has drawn wide but it was a nice win returning from his spell, he looked very good winning and could be a smart colt in the making. No 2 Masthead $4.20 returns from his spell, looked good at Moonee Valley before going down the straight at Flemington, this was a good run in the Group 3 race. No 10 Noble Twostep $10 is jumping up in class here but I like her win at Cranbourne and could run a surprise race here.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs Hareeba Stakes (Listed) Handicap – 03.20pm

No 5 Launay $4
is returning from his spell, really hit his straps last preparation and is solid first up and the distance, exciting to see him return. No 2 Captain Coltish $5 (nom Sat) returns from a long spell, is a little wide but does have speed and Moody will have him ready. No 15 Little Gem $17(nom Fri) has been freshened up, she is a smart little mare that is consistent and Boss will give her every chance. No 11 Harkaway $11 has two good runs back from the spell, is very good at the distance and could sneak into the places.

Race 8 – 2400mtrs $300,000 Mornington Cup (Listed) – 04.00pm

No 3 Cedarberg $3.30
the locally trained horse has had very good money come for him, opened at $4.60 in the markets and I had a wager at $4.00 but has continued to tumble in. His last start win at Sandown was good and can run this distance out without any worries. No 11 Shewan $6.50 Boss rode a perfect race last start and will again be right in this. No 2 Mr. Bentley $5.50 (nom Sat) will be in this a long way but might find it a little too far. No 1 Macedonian $7 (nom Sat) has been freshened and Moody will have him ready as this is an exemption for the Caulfield Cup.

Race 9 – 2000mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 7 Keep Cool $4.60
Boss has another good ride here. Is racing well and jumps up in class again but drops weight. No 4 Cheddington $21 (Nom Fri Sun) has been up a long time but must respect this stable and is decent over the distance. No 5 Bolton $2.70 (nom Fri Sat Sun) has again drawn wide but must respect as last start ran a good race after being caught wide. Is back up in weight and will have to put best foot forward to win this. No 6 Far To Go $4.80 should run this out and keep safe in multiples.

Race 10- 1200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 1 Adaptor $5.50
(nom Fri) returned with a good first up hit out, the 3kg claim a big help and sure to be around the mark. No 5 Second Effort $6 returns from his spell, does have a win over the distance and it was a good win at Warrnambool. No 2 Pity The Fool $7.50 is stepping out to the 1200mtrs first time this preparation, was away from racing for a long time but looks good since returning. No 15 Merryvale $8 (nom Fri Sat) a Moody runner keep an eye on markets but should need a run and more distance.

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Friday 28th January 2011 Victoria Australia

Mornington Horse Racing Tips Friday 28th January 2011

Race 1 – 1018mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate – 02.10pm

No 5 Nodoubt Aboutme out of Undoubtedly the Blue Diamond winner so watch markets. No 6 Sky Shower out of Stravinsky another that should sprint well. No 7 Spurring Success out of Flying Spur had a trial on a heavy track way back in August against Warm Love who is flying at the moment, should sprint well. No 1 A Roddick Moment out of Barley a Moment should go alright fresh but this distance will probably be a bit short.

Race 2 – 1018mtrs Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate – 02.45pm

This is an average race, No 8 Patient Lady didn’t go well in her only trial on a heavy track but breeding should be better than that. No 9 Spirit of Sienna ran a few decent races last preparation, will be better for those runs. No 3 Liplock her run before the spell she did a lot wrong but still found the line alright, sure to be better for those runs coming back from the spell.

Race 3 – 1223mtrs Maiden Plate – 03.20pm

I am looking forward to seeing this colt from the Peter Moody camp, No 6 Money or the Gun (Big Watch) out of champion racehorse Octagonal is having his first start, I tried to get an early bet on with my bookie but no luck, he said he expects him to open as low as $1.50. I am going to have a little go at him if I can get $1.50. For the exacta No 4 Downright did plenty wrong first up, was very green and laid in making the jockey stop riding to straighten.

Race 4 – 2044mtrs Maiden Plate – 04.00pm

No 9 Jade’s Dilemma
should have won a race by now, she is well bred and does too much wrong, she is still learning but has potential. Last two starts have been good, last start ran about shifting in and out having a bumping duel. No 10 Tully ran a decent race last start. No 4 Macallan with Symonds on board a chance for the places.

Race 5 – 1018mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 7 Belle Chantecler
is returning from her spell, she will be a much better horse here. No 4 Ello Ello has trialed well over the 100omtrs and watching his races he has run okay races. No 2 Nate will be around the mark.

Race 6 – 1527mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 4 Sassy Bay should win this, and should do it easily if I read the form correctly.

Race 7 and 8 later today.
