Flemington Horse Racing Tips Australian Guineas Day Saturday 5th March 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 5th March 2011

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Ice Cream Stakes (listed set weights) – 12.40pm

No 1 Golden Archer $4.40
has a nice turn of foot and goes well down the straight here, sure to be in this a long way. No 2 Vatican $7 ran a nice race first up from the spell against Atomic, will be better for that run and should have trained on. No 7 Kid Kobe $8.50 is a first starter with two trial wins under the belt, keep an eye on the markets. No Fortune of War $3.60 is another first starter with a trial win, well bred and keep an eye for any moves in the markets.

Race 2 – 2000mtrs Victoria Plate – 01.15pm

No 6 Anudjawan $3.20
last two starts have been very good, was unlucky last start as stuck on fence and steadily shuffled back to the back of the field. In the straight held up for clear running until 150mtrs out and hammered home late, a big run. No 5 Rubinacci $4 is running very well in easier class, last start stepped up to open company with a good run. A lot harder but a chance on form. No 4 Port Vell $3.70 is another horse racing well, last start a good run as there were excuses in that run. No 1 Mourayan $8.50 has a strong record second up, form doesn’t look great but he has been going around in much harder races. No 2 Hanks $6 has blinkers first time and this could make a big difference for the Encosta De Lago gelding.

Race 3 – 1100mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Plate (set weights) – 01.55pm

This will be a two horse race for me. No 3 Dubleanny $2.30 returns from her spell in a filly and mare race, she was hot last preparation against some smart horses and her trial run of the 21st of February she looked very good. No 4 Psychologist $3.60 I backed her and tipped her on her return from the long break, she looks a smart horse and it was a nice win at the Valley. No 5 Girls Go Racing $9 has come across from Sydney and form is decent, she won well first up and she can find the line very well. Down the straight doesn’t have to go around the turn on the wrong foot a bonus. No 2 Valentine Miss $5.50 her last six starts have been group or listed races and she won a group 3 and solid in the others. Her last three runs in filly and mare class she has two wins and a second, respect but she has run into a couple of smart ones here.

Race 4 – 2600mtrs Roy Higgins Quality Handicap (listed) – 02.35pm

No 11 Streaky Fella $6
is a nice outsider for sure, last start in Tasmania is better than it looks on paper. It was a big run and the start before at Morphettville was nice. as also had trouble in the running. Family Bliss ran 4th and has gone on to win at Sandown. No 3 Vesper $4.60 won well last start, a very good ride by Hall, goes back up 5kgs in weight so a big task over this distance. No 1 Kid Diamond $4.40 is racing very well, in very good form but also rises 5kgs in weight. He can carry it but over this distance the question. No 7 Elmore $9.50 is last year’s winner of this race. Needs runs under the belt and sure to run an honest race.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares PFD Stakes (Group 3 set weights) – 03.20pm

No 3 Aloha $2.10
is short but is going to be hard to beat. I have backed already and has been well supported. She really hit her straps last preparation and was flying. Price sure to have her ready to go. No 2 Return to Sender $11 is over the odds for me, she is good second up and at the distance. No 5 Flying Tessie $7 is terrible at the barriers, she walks out and misses the starts but absolutely motors home. Last start played up at the barriers and missed the jump before hammering home the last 200mtrs. Williams on board first time and if he can get her to jump well she could give this a big shake. No 4 Casual Friday $13 this is a class rise but at this weight will run an honest race.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs 3yo Australian Guineas (Group 1 Set Weights) – 04.05pm

No 7 Bullbars $9.50
to me looks a good a chance as any here. He ran a nice race last start for a good win. Drew the wide barrier and paired last, came wide in the turn and straight and found line late for a good win. Will be better for the run and McEvoy takes the ride and he is a very good jockey. No 11 Under the Eiffel $11 has looked really good since returning from his spell. A big run in the group 2 Autumn Stakes last start, was away slowly and settled back in the field. Wide into the straight and motored home, got her head to the side. Looks ideally suited here. No 2 Playing God $5 you cannot fault his Perth form, will that form hold up here is hard to say but respect. No 5 Run For Levi $26 back over this distance and will appreciate that, a nice horse and a good chance at longer odds for me.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs Bob Hoysted (listed) 04.45pm

The top 4 horses are all in the market and have good chances. No 4 Master Harry $3.60 one start down the straight at Flemington for a strong win. His two runs this preparation very nice and is going to be hard to beat. No 2 Winter King $4.60 three starts back ran a good second to Black Caviar, a good record over the 1000mtrs and sure to be in the finish. No 1 Secret Flyer $5 can carry the big weight and was running home well last start. No 3 Broken $5.50 is very good over a 1000mtrs and sure to be in the places.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs Birthday Stakes (listed) – 05.25pm

No 7 Launay $2.50
is short but I have already backed as very confident with him here. His first up run from the spell was solid, was very well supported in the markets and had a few problems in the run. Will appreciate the extra metres and having McEvoy back on board as a plus for me. No 8 Eraset $5.50 was also solid first up from the spell, fought hard all the way to the line and will be much better for the run. No 9 Belgietto $5.50 was specked at odds last start and ran a good second and will like the extra metres here as well. No 5 Just Look $17 didn’t get a clear run last start, was working home well late and has a good second up record and the distance. Top weight No 1 Danzylum $5.50 have to respect the old fella as he is a solid horse.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Thursday 3rd March 2011

Race 1 – 1108mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

Watch markets as Peter Moody has a nicely bred horse No 8 Star Salute a $100,000 dollar purchase first up maybe but is nominated Saturday. No 3 Storm Cell $200,000 purchase another Moody first starter and Nolen has chosen to ride him.

Race 2 – 1108mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

This is an average race. No 7 Colonial Sensation ran a good first up race, was caught wide all the way but found the line well. No 8 Little Flame was a little green first up, did work home well in the straight and will be better for that run. No 9 Evil Eye give a chance as was never on the track her first run. No 2 Our Ernest is a first starter so keep an eye on markets.

Race 3 – 1419mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 5 Muktashef has been gelded during his spell, this will surely make a big difference. He was a $650,000 purchase and I look forward to seeing him race here. No 10 Grenada Road from the Moody camp was a $400,000 purchase (nom Sat, Sun, Mon) I would have preferred to see over something a bit shorter but watch markets for any moves. No 6 Paramour is well bred and looked better schooled first up from the spell, made nice ground and will be better for the run. No 12 Variate ran a good race last start, was wide early and went to the front on the turn and was run down about 50mtrs out, a good run.

Race 4 – 1419mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

No 7 Appeasing (nom Sat, Sun)
gets blinkers on for the first time here, she will be better for her two runs and last start did show some promise. No 8 Arizona Miss is very well bred, both mother and father smart horses but I want to see and should be a nice stayer if all goes well. Was a cheap buy of around $60,000. No 12 Madam Redoute has been disappointing to say the least, last start forgive and give a chance as was off the track and never got a chance to get into the race. No 2 Just Grand has a nice trial win under the belt in good time so watch markets closely.

Race 5 – 1208mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.20pm

Finally away from the maiden races, some fillies here I want to see run. No 2 Bellantina Mick Price and Boss team up, this preparation the horse looks very nice. Two big wins and the Moonee Valley run could have been a lot better placed with a better run. Last start win a beautiful ride and from about 120mtrs out put 5 and ½ lengths on the field. No 3 Queen Delight (Nom Sun) was scratched from Sandown yesterday, might step up the 1200mtrs first time here. Has two strong wins in a row, last start by 6 lengths in good time on the slow track. No 5 Margiela has been disappointing for sure, she was a $650,000 purchase and I am hoping the first 4 races of her career and the spell she will come back a better schooled horse. No 1 God Help Her respect first up but has weight to carry.

Race 6 – 1208mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.57pm

No 5 Arco Iris (nom Sat)
I am going to forget last start as I have watched his other two start this preparation and both have been good. No 10 Paris Memory (nom Sat) ran an okay trial against Vareena Miss back on the 10th of January, so has been in work for a while and should be ready for this. She was a $400,000 purchase and just hasn’t performed to date but should be better here. No 1 Still Dark (nom Sat, Sun) is racing well and last start was better than it looks on paper. Was wide throughout but stuck on in the straight. No 9 Salamander Bay if you forget her last start where she pulled up a bit sore after the run, and her run at Pakenham where she finished 10th as she did over-race a long way and shifted ground a few time, she looks like a half decent horse. Her other two runs has found the line full of running and if all together will be a big threat.

Race 7 – 1008mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.37pm

Not a strong race at all here, No 3 Caribbea (nom Sun) from Kent has held her own in some tougher races, a big chance to get win number two here. No 2 Forward Miss (nom Sun) not so bad and should have a chance at the places in this field. No 1 Dante’s Flame (nom Sun) if you watch all her five runs this preparation not so bad but just not getting the 1000mtr distance out. No 5 Hilton Head, when this horse was purchased for $500,000 that were hoping for more than shown to date. Look she is impeccably bred, and watch markets to see if she is ready to go here.

Race 8 – 1619mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.17pm

No 11 Classic Cameo
is going for three wins in a row and has a chance for sure, strong last start and drops a kilo with the class rise. No 8 Smoke N Brandy won well first up and last start over-raced a little midway, made good ground to the turn but never hit top gear in the straight, give a chance. No 14 Monte Bella keeps the blinkers on after winning with them on last start. It is a slow time that win but they were dawdling along until Boss took control of the race with a good ride. No 4 Shiny Buttons had every chance first up but will be better here over more distance and sure to be fitter.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 2nd March 2011

Race 1 – 2400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 4 Twiginthedesert better drawn here, last start made good ground late after a hard run, Hall back on board a bonus. No 6 Pennon forget last start as was checked badly a few times and made good ground when clear. A very consistent horse and Payne will have her ready. No 2 Kincaple has runs under his belt and the 2kg claim helps, sure to be around the mark. No 5 Keep Cool has O’Brien and Oliver teaming up, has been running well but jumping up in class.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 02.10pm

A heap of first starters here, some from good stables and well bred. Watch markets and follow the money. No 2 City of Song, No 3 Letter from France, No 6 Rheinfels have all won trials and Peter Moody has a nicely bred horse No 8 Star Salute a $100,000 dollar purchase first up maybe but is nominated a few times the next week.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.45pm

No 7 Never Forget
won well last start at Ballarat, was 3 and 4 wide with no cover, worked onto leaders heels three wide and then ran on strongly in the straight. Was challenged about 200mtrs but fought hard and pulled away for a good win. No 1 Paparazzi Dreamer one start for one win, put away for 284 days and returns here and watch markets closely. No 2 Queen Delight two wins in a row and last start gave them a galloping lesson in a much easier class but respect on that performance. No 4 Follonica is first up and Freedman and Williams must respect.

Race 4 – 1800mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 11 Lordoftheparrots $4.60 (special)
has been an unlucky horse, if you watch his runs he is a nice looking horse Last start was unlucky again and Williams on board will give him a good pilot. No 1 Base $1.90 two runs back from the spell, both have been very good and the 2kg claim will help. Looks a nice horse but still plenty to learn. No 5 Mount Everest $9 I liked his run over this distance last preparation at Randwick, both runs decent this preparation and specked at odds last start, the weight is a worry. No 3 Stoneblack $41 trial form is average but wouldn’t surprise me if he runs a forward race.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 3 Translation $12
is a good outsider to me, can run a nice race. Last start pulled hard early and the 3kg claim will help a lot. No 8 Conquering Journey $4.40 was supported late and did run a nice race last start, led them the entire way and set the back markers up but fought hard. No 9 From The Terrace $4.60 is another that the distance looks to suit was right in it until late and has been freshened since then. No 12 Nakaaya $4.20 I am looking forward to seeing he run again, she is a little wide but a smart horse.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.40pm

This is a hard race, plenty of chances for sure. Will need to keep an eye on a number of runners and see where the money goes. No 8 Dashing Stars jumps up in class again but I really liked his run at Bendigo last start. Came from well back and was finding the line well too late. No 9 Originate looked a better schooled horse his first up run from the spell. Was a good win in good time for the Ballarat track. No 7 Quadrant will be better for his first up run this preparation. No 6 Santana is another that impressed me last start with a good win.

Race 7 – 1700mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 6 Lady Pachira $3.50 (special) drops back in class here after a good run last start as she was caught wide early before coming wide in the straight and hitting the line motoring. This is her forth start back this preparation and the extra distance will suit. No 1 Miss Phromily $8.50 has been going around in much harder races, she will appreciate the extra distance and sure to run a good race. No 2 Yasey San $12 is nice at the odds, has been going around in open company, drops back the mares class here and last start a nice run. No 4 Cadenza $8 has drawn dreadfully, drops back to mares class as well here and will be better for her freshen up. No 12 Assertion $6.50 is the second favourite but isn’t going to find this any easier than what she has been racing in of late, her run against Gail at Flemington was good.
