Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia Saturday 9th March 2013

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend. Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 2yo Fillies Open Set Weights (Group 3) – 12.10pm

No 2 Montsegur $2.40 was 2 deep all the way last start and 5 wide in the straight. Respect this horse. No 6 Anatina $5.50 I like her debut race, late support and the winner of that race went on to run a good race at this track last start. No 1 Bulbala $4.80 didn’t have much luck back from the 70 day let up 2nd up, was wide and did a few things wrong. Looked good in her trial a few weeks back so keep safe.

Race 2 – 1100mtrs 3yo Open Handicap (Listed) – 12.45pm

No 2 She’s a Fox $2.50 is the form horse if she brings her Sydney form with her. A good outside eachway bet could be No 10 Flamberge $21 as he has been green and still learning and if he puts it all together could surprise here. No 1 Lankan Rupee $5 back from his first spell and sure to filled out and must respect this breeding.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 2yo Open Set Weights (Group 2) – 01.20pm

No 12 Great Esteem $7 has drawn wide and this will make it a hard race for him but I do like his first run and should be better for that run. No 6 Weinholt $5 improved a lot last start and looked good winning. Have to respect the stable and breeding but this is a big step up in class. No 14 Parfuri $13 I like the look of this horse and I think he will be better for his first up run. Also a better track all pluses for me and a good outsider. No 2 Shamus Award $8 I do think will struggle running this out but keep safe in multiples.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Open Set Weights (Group 2) – 01.55pm

No 7 Wall Street $4.40 is back to set weights and should give this a big shake. No 2 Budriguez $8 and No 6 Callinash $5 should lead this up and both will take chasing down. No 5 Dany The Fox $7.50 is back up weight but an honest horse and keep safe in multiples.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies Open Set Weights (Group 2) – 02.35pm

No 1 Norzita $1.80 is short but a smart horse and group 1 winner and first up win from the spell was good, hard to go past. No 2 Members Joy $9 is racing very well and have to include in the chances. No 3 Meliora $7 ran them off their feet last start, should lead here and take chasing down. No 10 Petite Diablesse $13 an outsider for your multiples.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs Newmarket Open Hcp (Group 1) – 3.15pm

No 2 Moment of Change $2.80 a good run back from the spell against stable mate Black Caviar last start. He really came on last preparation and if trained on should be a big handful here. No 13 Better Than Ready $5 is light and Brisbane form solid and won well interstate at Randwick. This is a big step up in class. No 5 Spirit of Boom $17 is an honest horse in big races and was a good run first up from the spell. No 5 Barakey $5.50 a WA group 1 winner and undefeated in 11 starts, respect but this is a big ask if you ask me.

Race 7 – 2000mtrs Australian Cup Open Weight for Age (Group 1) – 4.00pm

This is a good field and look forward to the race. No 1 Green Moon $4.20 returned with a solid run and is sure to have tightened up the last few weeks. No 12 Fiveandahalfstar $7.50 at this weight is sure to be in this a long way. No 13 Super Cool $4.40 both runs this preparation have been very good and sure to give this a good shake. No 3 Glass Harmonium $9 another with a good first up run and will also appreciate the extra distance.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Open Set Weight (Group 3) – 4.40pm

No 1 Spirit Song $5.50 was pretty unlucky last start, was a good run and need to respect here. No 13 Epingle $26 if Bossy gets her away well from the gate I think she could run a heck of a race. No 12 Perfectly Stunning $6.50 last two starts have been good wins and extra metres looks to suit. No 3 Hi Belle $6 was doing best work late last start.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.50pm

The only thing I can offer is watch the markets very closely as there are a few nice looking horses that watching their trial runs were not overly stretched.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3 & 4yo Fillies & Mares Handicap – 01.30pm

No 8 Total Attraction $4.40
has impressed both wins to date. She looks a really nice horse and at this weight a big chance for me. No 11 Pilbara Sand $8 is another from the Moody camp and one o just give a chance to. She is handy at the weight and looks close to taking that next step. No 10 Bohemian Circus $7 this is a lot harder than last start win but it was done well and she looked nice stretching out and eased down near the line. No 7 Tellora $3.60 the current favourite and on last start win have to respect for sure but still has to prove to me on the bigger stage.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.10pm

No 12 Vonharp $9 I like her last couple of starts. She does get back so my worry is being boxed in but if she settles well and think an excellent chance at nice odds. No 10 Stardom $5 since she won returning from the spell her last two starts have been a little unlucky and you have to just give her a chance card. I don’t think we have seen this Kiwi’s best. No 1 Charlottes Mint $15 a big weight but sure to give it a shake late. No 3 Golden Penny $3.80 I really question if she can run the 7 furlongs out but is racing well this preparation.

Race 4 – 2000mtrs Open Handicap – 02.50pm

This is a weak Saturday race. No 6 Hanks $4 watching his last run I give him a good chance. Looked a lot better but there was still no support in markets. Not a lot of luck from the 600mtrs in and markets will be a good guide to where he is at. No 3 Persian Star $4 is a horse that needs runs under the belt. Has a couple of good runs under the belt here and should be a much improved horse. No 7 Royal Mail $4.20 is racing very well and cannot dismiss. No 9 Umatic $34 a multiples injector.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.30pm

An outsider here No 4 Lethal Arrow $11 with the claim and this barrier should push up and lead or be right on the pace here. I think he races better on the speed. Looked alright returning from the spell and should have tightened up a little as well. No 11 Flyingconi $3.60 is a huge threat for sure on current form and will shorten I think. No 7 Volando $10 is a nice odds as she is a horse that improves a lot with a couple of runs under the belt and I expect her to give this a good shake. No 10 Smokin Joey $3 there is no doubt for me he is a talented horse with potential and his run back from the spell was good but he has to prove himself to me.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Handicap Kensington Stakes (Listed Race) – 04.10pm

A very open sprint here. No 8 Weekend Special $6.50 has looked very good both runs back from the spell. He can lead or sit and finish off his race and one to be absolutely ripped and ready for sure. No 7 Obsidian Dragon $10 I thought this was overs as she comes in well at the weights and racing well and sure to take some chasing down in front. No 2 First Command $6 must keep safe as a more than handy horse. No 5 General Truce $8 and No 11 Decircles $5.50 cannot be left out of calculations and backed well on early markets.

Race 7 – 1700mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.50pm

You are never happy to lose your money and last start I did just that on No 5 Conquering Journey $5.50. I thought it was a terrible ride as watching the race replay so many times and seeing how bad he over-raced I thought Stackhouse should have let him go. I also do think now that the firmer tracks are no good and needs the sting out of the ground. My bookie was a little more generous loading up again on him here and I do hope for a much better showing. No 8 Chasse $4.40 is a big threat and plenty of early market money support and drops a heap of weight of 6kgs on last start. Was a decent run after missing the jump and sure to be coming home well. No 4 Yallingup $8.50 not a bad run last start if you watch after he bombed the start. Was a long way back and worked home alright late and should be much improved. No 1 The Wingman $11 a Trojan of a horse and keep safe in multiples.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs 3yo & 4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 5.30pm

I am going for the interstate raider here. I haven’t backed No 6 Meshmaker $3.20 as I am hoping he drifts a little. I like what I have watched of him and his last start I think he has an excellent chance of a lovely run from this barrier and having an excellent crack at them down the straight. No 8 Infuse $4.80 has been well backed early and I am hoping for more money to keep coming. This stable as I have said before has let me down too many times he has looked good back from the spell. No 5 Meaisin $9 has been disappointing for breeding but really hasn’t been racing too badly. Both of Moody’s runners No 4 Bold Trojan $11 and No 2 Sidecar $7 for multiple players.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.35pm

All first starters and watch markets closely. No 2 If I Could $2.70 very well bred from both sides and a horse sure to be better over further as well as dad was a 6 to 7 Furlong horse. No 5 Yellow Jersey $4 another well bred from both sides and mum was a handy Perth sprinter who only had one start as a 2yo old but went on to win the Hareeba and Sangster as a 5yo before retiring. The next best for me on breeding for the scamper are No 1 Adjuster $13 and No 3 Paniolo $8.50 even though he trialed poorly well bred.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.15pm

No 2 Roses In The Glen $4.20
comes up against open company here for the first time but this does keep her handy at the weights and she is racing well. The extra metres should suit and a good chance 4 wins in a row. No 3 Canonized $7 won well back from the spell in an easier race. Hammered home to the line and have to respect on that. No 10 Henwood $7.50 first up for Hickmott and Williams and looked okay in both trial runs and is well bred. No 1 Sabres $8.50 for multiples. Favourite No 6 Instalment $3.80 might have been a little underdone last start but did run a good race but didn’t convince me enough he will run this out.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3 & 4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 01.55pm

As soon as I saw No 5 Lone Star was running Friday night at the Valley I backed No 9 Johannapine $3.60 and she has shortened since then. She won both her runs first preparation and if you watch them she looks a lovely horse that was still very green and learning. The paddock will have helped her a little and hope she returns in top shape. No 3 Ravenous Lass $6 she will lead and with the claim a good help and will take running down. No 1 Rorke’s Drift $11 the big weight even with the claim is going to test but racing very well and a multiples must. No 8 Zippa The Rippa $7.50 is another for multiple players.

Race 4 – 2500mtrs Handicap – 02.35pm

When I was doing the form I thought this was a very open race as I had a of 5 horses all pretty close together and the market is $6 the field. No 6 Hiphoppopotamus $9 he should be primed here with 4 runs back and looked a lot better last start. A hard run but stuck right on to the line. No 3 Prussian Officer $6 is racing very well and must respect with the claim. No 10 Flying Hula $8 another with a big chance I think. Last start went for a move mid race and stuck on a long way and will be better for the run as well. No 1 Apprehend $7.50 have to respect this horse at this track and distance and racing well and last start not an easy run.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs Handicap – 03.15pm

No 6 Giresun $3.60
I have been both his last two wins but I am not as confident here simply because of the barrier and he likes to get back and this could cause lots of problems in the straight. A good threat for me is No 10 Lonhreign $8 as handy at the weights and he looks like he will run the mile out. He hasn’t quite clicked for me but still racing well. No 3 Belgietto $8 I say respect here even though form hasn’t been great last few goes well here. No 8 Platamone Castle $6.50 on last couple of starts is a big threat here and into open company very handy at the weights.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs Handicap – 03.55pm

I hope this turns out to be the race I think it will be. No 12 Pied A Terre $3.50 returned from his spell with a very good win. Looked very strong finding the line well. No 10 There’s Only One $5.50 she won well first up from the spell and she drops weight going up in class and more distance another bonus. No 8 By The Way $13 last couple of runs have been much better and sure to give this a good go. No 2 Mr Make Believe $10 this will be a big ask with the weight but first up run back from the spell was okay and sure to be improved.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.35pm

No 1 Empress Cleo $3.30
with the 3kg claim is going to be hard to beat for me. Has raced very well this preparation and last start watch the run as not easy at all but stuck on well for second. No 2 Graskop $5.50 I see as the only danger here as does sprint well fresh and another with a 3kg claim. No 7 Leoncita $6 did impress with her return win from the spell at Ballarat. Multiples No 3 Shady Favour $10.

Race 8 – 2000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 5.15pm

No 8 Power O’Raylee $3.20
she has come back a much better horse this preparation and finally showing some of her breeding and will be hard to beat on current form. No 1 Manila Jewel $11 with the 3kg claim I think will be more than competitive and at juicy odds. No 4 Placement $9 last couple of runs have been much better and if they nominate an apprentice with a claim even better. No 12 Chaparral Lass $6 give one more chance on her Caulfield run, last start forget as was disappointing but still ran a decent race.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Monday 2nd January 2012 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

My $100 in bets yesterday were $50 the win in Race 5 No 2 Glacier King (saluted at $5) and race 7 No 3 Selingkuh (never a chance). So now we have invested $600 for a clear profit of $460 after 6 days. Today’s $100 is going on race 8 No 11 Diamond Diggler for the win at $3.00.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 11.50am

An open race to start the day for me. No 11 Star Of Giselle $3.80 is the standout for me. She really matured last preparation and even her run in the G3 Cockram Stakes was good as she was ready to be spelled. Returns here and very handy at the weights in open company. No 14 Ravenous Lass $8 is very light carrying 51kgs and is racing very well this preparation. Will lead and take a lot to run down at this weight. No 6 Rorke’s Drift $11 is another with a 3kg claim and all three runs this preparation have been very good. No 9 Strike The Tiger $5.50 this was a good run back from the spell as on the home bend got taken out and had to check badly off heels but really flattened out well the last 100mtrs.

Race 2 – 1800mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 12.25pm

This is a race in two and even though a 4.5kg turnaround since they last met I have to go with No 4 Power O’Raylee $2.20 as she has been winning well. Moody doesn’t engage an apprentice so confident she carry the weight to the line and that is enough for me. No 5 Chaparral Lass $4.20 both runs since coming across from NZ have been very good. It is the barrier again here as she will drift back and may need a little luck with clear running but for sure will come home strongly. No 7 Mythical $11 is another NZ horse and last couple of starts since stepping out to the mile and 9 furlongs looked a lot better. I am looking forward to seeing as she could be more than handy. No 2 Enchanting Waters $18 last couple of starts have been very good especially last start against in form Full Peal.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 01.00pm

As I was doing the form for this race the other day I really struggled as this is so competitive and the markets showed this with $6 the field. I am going for value and backed No 3 Seduced $12 at better odds as she returned from a long spell and it wasn’t a bad run as she was slowly away and just ground it out. Weir backs her up quickly and I am sure she will have tightened up from the run. No 15 Terpsichore $6 the current favourite is also a good chance here. She drops weight with the class rise and an excellent run last start as she was over-racing early had to ease off heels but down the straight really wound up and stretched out really well. No 12 Creed $12 only carrying 51kgs with the claim. She is going to lead and will be fitter and last start if you watch the race she was under pressure a long way out but really dug deep right to the line. No 13 Louisville Dancer $8 she is still a better horse than what we have seen and if they can get her right she is a big threat for me.

Race 4 – 2800mtrs The Bagot Handicap (listed race) – 01.35pm

No 7 Supremacy $6
is another Kiwi horse that had his first start and a great ride by Froggy Newitt and he really found the line well and should run it right out on that run. No 6 Unchain My Heart $10 cannot fault form of late and she is at a very good weight for this race. No 2 Persian Star $4.60 with her stablemate nominated keeps her well down in the weights and she is bound to be better than her first few runs this preparation. No 12 Crafty Cruiser $18 comes in nice at the weights and has been racing well and a light weight chance for multiple players.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs Standish Handicap (group 3) – 02.10pm

I am going for a little bit of value here in No 12 Cascabel $10 as his last two starts have been very good. The worry is he is slow away from the barriers so will have horses in front of him but if he has some luck and a clear run a big chance for me. No 9 Stirling Grove $5 has been freshened and on his day a very handy horse. Another that gets back and will need a little luck with clear running but need to respect. No 1 Catapulted $5 is a class horse and can carry weight and must respect. No 6 Rocking Force $11 didn’t have his extra gear last start and didn’t come on like usual but respect and keep safe in multiples.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs Open Handicap – 02.45pm

An open race here for me. No 6 At The Heads $4.80 is my best pick by a whisker. O’Brien has been patient with him this preparation. Comes in good at the weights here for me and can really run a smart race and this preparation has looked good. No 10 Lethal Arrow $13 is more than likely going to lead with Population and Jungle Ruler (if starts). I don’t see a lot of other speed in the race and if can get a cheap run up front could take some running down. No 3 By The Way $6 a big surprise win last start and on that run need to respect. No 9 Volando $13 will be better for the run back from the spell and handy at this weight.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 3 & 4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.20pm

After doing the form I wasn’t surprised to see both my top choices that I have in front by a bit to be the favourites but they are they are only ones under $10 in the markets. No 11 Diamond Diggler $3 is short but I cannot see him getting out in the markets. But again this horse could have won all three starts as his only loss had no luck. Last start was impressive the way he won and going on that the extra metres will really suit. No 6 Flyingconi $5.50 the worry is the barrier as gets back and might get pocketed but is sure to be coming home well. No 1 Chasse $15 keep safe in multiples as can carry weight and first up run was good. No 3 Lonhreign $11 is another that is going to get back and come home late and might need some luck with clear running.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 17th December 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo (Open set weights) – 12.45pm

A tough little race to start the day with a couple of first starters that could sprint well. I am going with No 5 Catalonia $4.40 as she impressed me her first run. She led 2 wide early and coming to the turn I thought she was gone when a few passed her but she found some and worked home well to run second. She meets No 1 Ferment $4.20 who won the race 3kgs better. He did look nice winning but I give her a chance to turn the tables. No 8 Samaready $5.50 is nicely bred and she is light and watch markets closely. No 3 General Hap $8.50 watched his trial and he looks a nice horse.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo & 4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 01.25pm

I am going for value here. No 2 Rorke’s Drift $4.60 has come back racing well this preparation. Has a 3kg claim a big bonus. No 1 Nicholls Court $2.80 he is a little short for me. He has talent for sure and see that if you watch the few runs before his last spell. I do think this weight even with the claim is really going to test. No 3 Emboldened $6 I think will go alright down the straight here. Last start over-raced early and all chances were gone by the bend. No 7 Beau Vallon $7 for multiple players, this will test though.

Race 3 – 2540mtrs Handicap – 02.05pm

A very average race for a Saturday and one I will be leaving well alone. No 7 Shezaten $5 this could be last start this preparation and won well at Ballarat three back and last two starts does have excuses in the runs. Is racing well and a big threat for me. No 3 Apprehend $3.60 has taken a few runs more than normal to get going this preparation and at this weight should be around the finish. No 2 Chartreux $4.60 if he is on, he will be very hard to beat as he is more than handy on his day and last start did look better. No 5 Supremacy $3.10 is a Kiwi horse across for his first start. NZ form seems solid but I want to see first.

Race 4 – 1630mtrs Handicap – 02.45pm

No 8 Snow Cover $6
is good at the weights and finds the line well. My worry is his slow starts but gets back usually but I just hope doesn’t get pocketed. No 4 Turnitup $2.70 for sure is the horse with the most talent and been around in some much harder races. Will be fitter and only get better with more distance. No 2 Lakedro $8 has become a bit of a bridesmaid. Hasn’t won a race since April 2010 but been close a few times. Freshened and run a good race back and sure to give it a shake. No 9 Bolton $4.60 for multiple players.

Race 5 – 1420mtrs 3 & 4yo Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.25pm

This is an open betting race and could be a good way to start the quadrealla. I am leaving the current favourite No 13 Terpsichore $4.60 out of my quaddie. I can see her getting a bit too far back and walls of horses in front of her. No 4 Creed $17 I am going well wide here for an each-way go. This horse I think you need to give her a chance of running the distance out. I think she looked a little green first up and was a good run ann will only be better for it and the claim will help. Likes to lead and there is plenty of speed in this race but she could get a very nice cart into this with some smart riding. No 3 Evie Rose $7 has runs under the belt here and with the claim will be able to lead and be in it a long way. No 2 Legion’s Belle $8 has looked alright this preparation and another with a 3kg claim that will be a big help. Quaddie players don’t leave out No 7 What A Beauty $5.50.

Race 6 – 1420mtrs Handicap – 04.05pm

No 3 Mr. Griswold $4.80
is backing up from a week ago so has obviously eaten up and trained well through the week. A handy first up run in a hot race. Sat on the speed but couldn’t go with them and is only going to be better for the run for sure. Steps out in distance also another bonus as well as the small claim. No 9 Conquering Journey $7.50 he can be a handful and over-race as Meech found out last start. He is a strong horse and Nolen will have ridden him so many times in track work and know him inside out. Give a chance as sure to be better for the first up run. No 5 Khas Kura $8.50 first Victorian run was good and I think will appreciate the better track as well. No 11 Scaredymac $7.50 only carrying 50kgs and expect her to be coming home out wide late.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs Handicap – 04.45pm

Not a strong race and No 2 Canali $3 a big chance to add another win here. Looked very good last start and showed that the MV failure was the wet track. His first run at Flemington he led at a good click and just got done on the line. Looks fitter and I think can carry the weight. No 4 The Soldier $6 we haven’t seen since his MV run over a month ago. Is light at the weights and can run a good sprint, just look at his record. No 1 Periduki $4.40 with the 2kg claim only carrying 57.5kgs and another very good at the scamper. The only question in the Flemington straight. For multiples No 6 Silver Bullion $17.

Race 8 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 05.25pm

I am not 100% confident but I have had a good bet on No 4 Elusive King $2.60 at odds that were a bit better than this on opening markets. Had good word he looks great and this isn’t any harder than last start. Why connections have Rawiller on top and not Nolen I am not sure but he is a good horseman. No 2 The Big Steel $3.60 ran second to EK last start. Only third run back this preparation and meets EK 1.5kgs better but I don’t think it will be enough. No 6 Right Fong $13 is light and a must for multiples as well as No 8 Fitoussi $16. For me an exacta of 4 / 2.

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Sorry to anyone who might read as tips a little late but been busy.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies (Open set weights) – 12.45pm

Small field and I really look forward to seeing the well bred No 4 Harpers $3.40 I have already backed in opening markets. I think will shorten and more money will come for her. Her trial she didn’t do a lot or really get into top gear watching it but won it easily. No 1 Glimmer $3.20 debut win at Mornington was good as early battle for the lead and cleared out with a 5 length lead. Came back to them in the straight but held a good margin to the line. First starter No 5 Sell In May $4.40 she looked alright in her trial and will be better on top of the track as well I think.

Race 2 – 1610mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 01.25pm

I was a little surprised that No 6 Blue Ribbon $2.80 is this short now. I backed on opening and do think she is going to be hard to beat but her three wins have been all in girls races and a maiden, 62 and 68 handicap. Out to an 89 here and a huge jump but a heap of weight off her. I do think get on board as I could only see more money coming for her. No 4 Serene Tanie $5.50 won’t be pace setting for her stablemate here this time. Two back backed in from $26-$13 and saluted well and then Caulfield stayed solid at $16 and saluted again. Racing well and respect. No 1 Lets Be Happy $4 stepped out to 1400mtrs first time last start and a good win on the heavy track. Still a question on the mile though. No 2 Always Discreet $5.50 (nom Wed) runs back from spell have been good and can run a handy mile.

Race 3 – 1410mtrs 3 & 4yo 0 - 78 Handicap – 02.05pm

After going over the form I wasn’t surprised to see No 3 Better Be Sure $2.15 as favourite of this short. Has come back from the spell and built a picket fence with 3 wins in a row stepping up in class well. This is a jump in class but has been winning very well. No 9 Motorised $4.80 watched the run here two back and that was solid. Back from the spell and should have matured a little. No 7 Lonhreign $8 good run first up from the spell. No 4 Massoni $12 for multiple players.

Race 4 – 1720mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.45pm

No 3 Magic Me $3.50
another I have already backed and seems to have found Australian racing alright since coming over from NZ. With the class rise drops in weight and this will be a big help and I think very hard to hold out the way he is racing. No 6 Lord Wimble $4.40 (nom Wed) I was worried if he would run this out but last start he went back and settled last after jumping poorly. Usually races up on the speed but hit the line hard and seemed to have that other gear needed to come over the top. No 2 Population $2.70 the 2kg claim and a very good apprentice on board all big pluses. He will lead and take running down.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs Handicap – 03.25pm

When I first glanced at the field I thought it wasn’t very strong and then going over the form and watching some video I knew this was a very weak open handicap with many chances but this also means good odds on offer. I am looking at No 7 Belgietto $7.50 I will have a go at him if he gets out a bit. I think $9 or more could be on offer and I will have a good each-way go at him then. Talia the apprentice can ride a good race but she is still learning and makes mistakes. The 3kg claim a big help He goes well at the track and I am waiting to hear how he looks tomorrow in the yard. No 5 Cascabel $6 last couple of starts has been a bit off but just have to trust as is better than this. No 9 Cellarmaster $9 his 2yo NZ form was very good against a couple of handy horses. He hasn’t really produced that form here but give a chance returning from the spell as he has been in some hard races. No 2 Mr Griswold $5 really hit good form last preparation and returns here and if brings that he will be a big chance.

Race 6 – 2000mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.05pm

No 4 Full Peal $1.85
has shortened since his opening quote and when I backed him. I cannot see him getting out in markets as nothing in this field looks like it will get close to him. No 7 LuckyI’mbarefoot $7 is from another Warrnambool trainer and I think and excellent chance to exacta the race here. With the big class rise right down in weights and all three runs since being freshened has hit the line well 4kgs or more than here. No 9 Checkaboard Lounge $31 is my roughie for multiples. Returned from virtually a 2 year layoff and both runs have been alright. Last start still green looking but not such a bad run. No 1 Right Fong $7.50 maybe his best days are behind him but a multiples chance.

Race 7 – 1410mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.45pm

No 8 Our Skeeta $3.70
that has won three lower class races in a row and comes here in good form. Keeps the weight down with the class rise and on current form a big threat. No 9 Supreme De Lago $26 I was a little surprised to see these juicy odds and went back and watched the race a few times last start against OS. He was a good 2 lengths last out of the barriers and really took time to warm up. You hardly notice him until 300mtrs out where he weaves a passage home between runners. Was stretching out well last and I have had $500 each-way on him as an interest. No 2 Euphoric Realm $5 first up form looks great at 3 from 3 but they have been easier country races but does go well fresh and can run a very handy race. No 6 Cuban Sunday $9 for multiple players.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 3 & 4yo Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.25pm

And the girls finish the day off here for us and quaddie players will need to go wide I think. No 2 Beau Vallon $16 since coming across from Tassie she has not had a lot of luck watching her runs. I keep going back and watching her only Flemington start where she ran a big race, she had to be stopped riding and straightened near the 300mtrs and also the whip got caught in her mane but still hammered to the line to just go down. No 4 Star Salute $4.60 has been freshened and sprints well. No 10 Light Express $8.50 a good first up run from the spell and should have trained on. No 12 Delegance $9 only start here was solid and returning should have matured a little in the paddock.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 5th November 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Maribyrnong Plate (Group 3 Open SW) – 11.30am

The young 2 year olds come out to play and markets are going to be a very good guide here. Many of these I like the breeding and are hard to split and this will be a hard betting race to start the day. No 4 Magnusificent $5 I think will appreciate the better track and did work home well when clear late last start.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 4yo & up 0 – 95 Handicap – 12.10pm

This is going to be a hotly contested race for sure and not easy for punters. No 2 Erewhon $5 is a nice horse and comes into this with runs under the belt and is back to a distance that suits and further. Last start was warming up too late and my only worry is the weight. No 8 Eraset $4.80 hasn’t put a foot wrong this preparation and is a big threat. No 9 Shenzhou Steeds $5.50 with an excellent run in the Seymour Cup. Since coming across from NZ has raced well and the trainer has put the stallion chain on here for the first time. Another big threat. No 3 He’s Remarkable $4 I don’t think he will get a start in the Emirates Stakes so will start here and a big threat even with this weight. No 8 Happy Trails $8 has to be respected as well.

Race 3 – 2000mtrs 4yo & up Handicap – 12.50pm

If you can back the winner here you will be happy as it is $7.50 the field at the moment. It is an open race and see if we can find the winner. No 1 Domesky $11 hasn’t been in best of form but he is a classy horse and he gets better with racing. I have backed at better odds than this relying on his class and that he will be fit. No 9 Model Tonight $13 I am not sure if will get a start in the Matriarch Stakes, if starts here a threat at good odds. Is racing well of late and wouldn’t take much of a lift to surprise here. No 3 Count Encosta $7.50 is currently equal favourite and he will be better as the distance grows and sure to be a threat as smart. No 12 Cabasso $26 this NZ horse has been racing in easier company but what I have watched she is a nice lightweight chance.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 3yo Handicap Hilton Hotel Stakes (Listed) – 01.30pm

I am looking forward to this race as some nice horses here. No 3 Mental $5.50 has come back from the spell on fire in Sydney. This is harder in open company but cannot fault his form and if he handles the wrong way of going a big threat. No 2 Mahisara $5.50 has been going around in much tougher races, returned with a good run from the spell and Beadman has a big chance to notch another win here. Multiple players include No 7 Rheinfels $18, No 13 Instinction $18 and No 5 Toned $6.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs Patinack Farm Classic (Group 1 WFA) – 02.15pm

How far will No 3 Black Caviar $1.05 win by and will Peter Moody get the first 4 places is the only question. I can hardly see Black Caviar being over stretched here. For second No 5 Mid Summer Music $26, for third No 6 Curtana $41 and forth No 1 Scenic Blast $41 who still had cobwebs in the closet last start.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs Quality Handicap Emirates Stakes (Group 1) – 03.00pm

I wrote I had a bucket of money on No 1 Jimmy Choux $4.50 in the Cox Plate and my heart sank when he broke through the barrier. He ran a huge race and if the winner didn’t get that dream run it was his, so unlucky. I reinvested my place money and another 30k here in him, he is a very good horse and all I have heard has made me want to hit him again. No 11 King’s Rose $7 didn’t have a great Cox Plate run but also wasn’t a good ride either by the jockey. She is smart and at this weight for sure a threat. No 10 Testa My Patience $9 I love this horse as you will know but he is going to be outclassed here I believe but at this weight is sure to make it one hell of a race. No 8 Secret Admirer $6 will get back but be charging home late.

Race 7 – 2000mtrs 4yo & up Mares Matriarch Stakes (Group 2 Open SW) – 03.45pm

The old girls are out to play. No 9 Platinum Passion $6 will run up on the pace and will give this a huge shake if you ask me, sure to be fit and fresh after a few weeks break and she has my early money. No 10 Teardrop Rock $11 comes across from Sydney and what I have seen of her she looks okay. She will have to be at her absolute best but I give her a shot. No 5 Skyerush $3.40 deserves to be a short favourite as is racing very well. Her Belle of the Turf win was impressive and last start she had no luck but finished the race off well, a threat for sure. No 8 Dance With Her $26 I hope they put her out to the paddock after this, she has been racing since February with some good breaks here and there but she deserves a good break. Don’t discount her for multiples. No 1 Avienus $8 just on class need to respect and is racing well.

Race 8 – 2600mtrs Quality Handicap Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Group 3) – 04.30pm
It was a disgrace No 1 Bauer $2 didn’t get a cup start especially with the late scratching and all and he was a genuine chance for sure. When he missed a start in the cup I backed him as soon as markets opened here, His Geelong Cup run was huge and the old fella will go out here with a win I have no doubt as do other punters who have backed him in since I backed him. No 6 Macedonian $5.50 on his Lexus run you have to respect. No 10 Anudjawan $9.50 has hardly been putting a foot wrong and his Lexus run also very good. No 5 Paddy O’Reilly $21 and No 9 Ironstein $12 for multiple players.

Race 9 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Handicap – 05.10pm

I have run out of time in order of preference No 3 Amaethon $4, No 8 Stirling Grove $3.70, No 10 Veewap $17 and No 7 Rockpecker $21.

Flemington Crown Oaks Day Horse Racing Tips Thursday 3rd November 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Crown Oaks Day Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1800mtrs 4 & 5yo 0 – 89 Handicap – 12.20pm

No 6 Dead End $4.40
is the favourite (I have already backed at better odds) and last couple of runs has been unlucky, this horse looks ready to win and here if gets clear running be very hard to beat if you ask me. No 7 Fawkner $5.50 is backing up from 6 days ago at Moonee Valley a hard fought win and if you ask me will only be better for the hit out. No 4 Elusive King $7 (nom Sun) should be raring to go here and keep following when he gets out to 10 furlongs and further. In the multiples include No 9 Orbital Motion $13 and No 5 Bellissimo $12.

Race 2 – 1700mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 01.00pm

No 4 Quench The First $6
I thought they were removing the blinkers from her but form guides still have them as on, I think they will be removed and they will ride her back in this race and the long straight here will give her plenty of time to run these down, I am giving her a chance. No 1 Cliques $3.30 won well last5 start in an easy front running display, she wasn’t stretched out and looked good and back against her won sex as well, hard to beat. No 5 Rose Pattern $7 is at very juicy odds, she is a well bred and smart horse in the making and must respect her. Last start forgive as maybe didn’t handle MV or racing under the lights but is much better than that. No 3 Twilighting $3.90 forget last start completely. She was terrible at the barriers and worked herself up, then raced wide and pulled up with abrasions on a hock, she is much better than that for sure. Multiple players have to include No 6 Princess Rock $8.50.

Race 3 – 1100mtrs 4yo & up Mares Mumm Stakes (Listed Open SW) – 01.40pm

On pure class No 8 Valentine Miss $2.50 looks hard to beat on current form. I backed her as soon as markets opened as I have heard she looks excellent. She comes into this with a couple of ripper runs and last start was a big run and watch the replay and you will see what I mean. She is going to be very hard to beat. She has my biggest bet of the carnival to date. No 6 Celts $10 came across from Sydney and put in a very good race. Sat up on the lead and looked to be beaten off at the bend but she dug deep and fought back to grab the lead and go down late near the line, strong horse. No 7 Psychologist $19 is crazy odds for me. She is a hard horse to follow but when she is right she is a very good horse. Have to give her a chance and last start they reported maybe she didn’t handle the track after the rain before her race. No 1 Gybe $16 watching her last few runs from Sydney she goes alright and sure to be a place chance. Multiple players cannot leave out No 2 Ortensia $6 returning from her spell as she is a very nice horse, on class she is on top.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies Gucci Stakes (Listed Open SW) – 02.20pm

This is a very hard race if you ask me with some talented looking youngsters here. It is frustrating when you do the form, watch the videos and your choice comes out as the favourite but that is the way it goes. No 3 Anise $3.70 she can be a little tardy and this can be costly but her run 3 starts back against Foxwedge was good. Drops back to that distance here and I think the straight will suit this horse and will be coming home hard. No 2 Miss Stellabelle $5.50 has not put a foot wrong this preparation and she will give this a big shake. No 7 Emmalene $15 I have watched her 3 runs to date and really she looks alright. Her run 2 back she hammered to the line. No 1 Satin Shoes $6.50 her run against Sepoy last start was solid, she goes up in weight here and will lead this a long way and take running down but I think the others with lighter weights will get over the top of her.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.00pm

To be polite this is a nasty race. I have watched a lot of videos and been over my choices again and again and cannot separate a few of these. No 4 Limerock $8 I am going to trust her and have backed her at much better odds than this, she usually needs runs under her belt and this is her third here. I just see the extra metres and racing as all pluses for her. No 6 Translation $7.50 what worries me is he can get too far back and this is a big field and a lot of traffic. I do think they will try and ride him more handy here and a chance. No 9 Dash For Viz $6 this is only his second attempt at this distance, he can finish his races off well and last start did work home well. No 2 Chosen To Fly $6 last start was better than it looks as he was wide and never had cover and it just took its toll. The start before much better but the weight is a worry for me. No 14 Jungle Ruler $13 Nom Sun) if he backs up from 4 days ago I backed on his 100th start and he didn’t let many of us down and was backed in well and saluted. Would love to see him his 101st start.

Race 6 – 2500mtrs 3yo Crown Oaks (Group 1 Open SW) – 03.40pm

Sadly super 3yo and the best filly in Australia Atlantic Jewel isn’t starting here but look forward to her returning from her spell as she is so exciting. No 2 Dowager Queen $3.80 (I have already backed) is backing up from 5 days ago and a big run against Atlantic Jewel doing his best too late. She will run this out for sure. No 3 Gliding $7 ran up on the pace and fought hard all the way and actually found another gear late. No 4 Rahveel $6 ran second to Atlantic Jewel last start only 7 lengths off her and this happened in 200mtrs. On that run she is a chance. No 1 Mosheen $4.50 is too short for me. Yes, she is classy but will she run this out?

Race 7 – 1800mtrs 3yo Handicap MSF Stakes (Listed) – 04.25pm

No 4 World Domination $8.50
is overs for me and a good eachway bet at these odds. Last start in the small field he jumped and was caught wide and pushed on for the lead, I don’t think it suited and they will settle him back here and let him run them down. No 8 Now You Know $4 on last start the way he won he does look a big threat. No 1 Torah $4.40 she is a nice filly and classy but giving these guys weight worries me but she can do it. Multiple players No 3 Proliferate $5.50 and the other filly No 2 Euryale $5 need to be included.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up SV Stakes (Listed Open SW) – 05.10pm

No 5 Master Harry $3.30
returns from a good spell and he is sure to have matured a little from what I have heard. The word is he looks nice in training and he is two from two down the straight here and he is sure to be more mature now. No 4 Perturbo $5.50 has hardly put a foot wrong of late and will give this a big shake a long way. No 12 Sarge in Charge $21 I think you need to give a chance as he can finish races off well.

Race 9 – 1600mtrs Handicap – 05.50pm

No 4 Cosmic Causeway $4.80
(nom Sun) if starts I am backing to pip the favourite here. Is racing well this preparation and finding the line well. No 13 Face Off $4.50 is another that is racing well this preparation. Last start didn’t have a lot of luck and went across the line with plenty in the tank. No 10 Sea Coral $9.50 and No 11 Snow Cover $8.50 for multiple players.

Flemington Melbourne Cup Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 1st November 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Melbourne Cup Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Melbourne Cup Day is the one of the best fun days of the year, not so much as being at the track now as there are just too many people but with friends and family and a barbeque or even better to one of the many country meetings on across Australia. Remember that every trainer and owner wants to win a race Melbourne Cup Day and it is a hard day on the punt. Good luck and remember to bet wisely and enjoy the day.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Plate (Listed Open SW) – 10.20am

We start with a hard race as there are plenty of first starters here. Watch markets as these will be a good guide. Of the unraced lot No 2 Applegate on breeding I would expect a front running horse with a good turn of foot. Did win her trial coming into this and I have watched this footage and she looks nice. No 5 Flirtatious I do like the breeding but I think will be better over more distance up to the mile mark. Will more than likely be back and doing best late on breeding. No 9 Maraatib I liked her trial against the handy Lamingtons and I think she will be more than forward. No 8 Languish won her trial easily and wasn’t over stretched and needs to be respected. No 1 Alezan Thunder won well on debut is Adelaide and looked to still have a but up her sleeve. One for your blackbook I think will be No 11 Rhandara as I really love her breeding but think her best will be around the 7 or 8 furlongs and cannot wait to see her here.

Race 2 – 1700mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 11.00am

Kiwi horse No 2 Smoulder $5 has two runs on Australian soil now and last start in the Seymour Cup found her feet. She really found the line well late and if carries that form through is with a good chance here. No 15 Tantrum $10 (nom Thur) another Kiwi horse with a good chance if you ask me. She has impressed me since she came over and her last few starts although in easier class has found the line well. She will be coming home hard late at this weight for sure. No 5 Foxstar $4.20 has drawn wide and this is a little worry but this horse usually gets back anyway and comes home over the top. As long as she gets some cover and doesn’t sit wide and do too much work a chance for sure. No 4 Royal Commands $11 this horse always needs a few runs under the belt and we will see a much better horse here. Multiple players go wide and include No 6 Influential Miss $11, No 9 Gail $17 and No 11 Cold Steel Rein $26.

Quinella – 2,5,15 Trifecta 2,5,15 / 2,4,5,15 / 2,4,5,6,9,11,15

Race 3 – 2800mtrs 0 – 95 Handicap – 11.45am

No 6 Adroitly $6
Sydney form has been good. Comes across for the carnival. Will be back midfield but I think will be set up well for the run home and a good chance. No 10 Western Symbol $6 an excellent run in the Bendigo Cup the other day and will be a threat on that run. No 12 Excluded $5.50 (nom Wed, Thur) has drawn off the track and not sure if he will start here. If he does need to respect as on breeding should run this out and last start after being caught wide early went to the tail of the field and found the line well late. No 16 Perfect Pecs $8.50 has been racing well in easier company but last start in the Geelong Cup put in a very good run. Multiples go wide with No 2 I’m Jake $15, No 8 Innocent Lady $21, No 7 Olympic Win $13 and No 11 Lopov $9.

Quinella – 6,10,12,16 Trifecta 6,10,12,16 / 6,10,12,16 / 2,6,7,8,10,11,12,16

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares Herald Sun Stakes (Group 3 Open SW) – 12.30pm

No 3 Little Surfer Girl $8 came across from Sydney and pulled up with a cardiac abnormality and has had a 1000mtr gallop and ECG since then and passed. She is a nice horse and must respect her. She is a little wide but hopefully Cassidy can slide her across for a good midfield position and she will do the rest as she usually finds the line well. No 14 Neriani $4.80 she is a classy horse and my only worry with her is if she is tardy from this barrier could end up boxed away. She usually races on the pace and is a big threat. Last start a huge run and being wide all the way. No 12 Pontiana $7 she looked a little green late first up from the spell and should have trained on here. She looks a handy horse and I expect a good race from her. No 2 Divorces $6 has drawn off the track but needs to be respected. She will get back but be flying home for sure. Multiples go wide and include No 8 Hinemoa $9.50, No 5 Gai’s Choice $18 (nom Wed), No 16 Tariana $17. Watch No 19 Saint Angers $26 (Nom race 10) if gets a start multiple chance.

Quinella – 2,8,12,14 Trifecta 2,8,12,14 / 2,8,9,12,14 / 2,5,8,9,12,14,16

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 3yo ST 1000 (Open SW) – 01.15pm

No 2 Karuta Queen $1.55
cannot see her being beaten as she is going great guns and this should be a walk in the park for her. No 5 African Pulse $3.50 returns from his first spell and he should be better here and filled out a little. Reports have been he looks good. No 3 Spirited Addition $13 Adelaide form can be hard to judge but is racing well and a place chance. No 7 Hollyweird $11 (nom Thur) is a nice horse but I think this is too short for her and she is better around the 1200mtrs mark. For first 4 players include No 6 Shanghai Bound $17 and No 4 The Counterfeiter $26 is better than last start.

Exacta 2 / 5 Trifecta 2 / 5 / 3,7 First 4 – 2 / 5 / 3,7 / 3,4,6,7

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies Lexus Plate (Listed Open SW) – 02.00pm

This is going to be a tough race for me. I think there are plenty of genuine chances here. No 2 Combat Kitty $4.40 across to Victoria for the first time and I like what I have watched of this horse. She looks to have matured over the spell and she has found the line well and a good threat for me here. No 1 Disputes $6.50 even though she has only won 1 race you must respect her. She will be in a much better position from this barrier and last start was wide and raced outside the leaders early and this didn’t suit. No 8 Secret Liaison $7.50 has looked good this preparation and not without a chance. In the small field last start found the line well. No 5 The Fairy’s Kiss $3.40 (nom Thur) is a little short for me. I do think she is a big chance and will be a threat and if you watch her last start she was beaten by a very handy horse in the making. Will she runs this right out? Multiples include No 9 Princess Layla $6.50 (nom Thur).

Quinella 2R / 1,5,8 Trifecta 1,2,5,8 / 1,2,5,8 / 1,2,5,8,9

Race 7 – 3200mtrs Handicap The Melbourne Cup (Group 1) – 03.00pm

The Melbourne Cup is a good time for you and mates to pool money together for your multiples. It always pays to go wide in the multiples as often they will pay well.

I am going with a local over the favoured French gallopers. No 17 At First Sight $15 came back with a very good run in the Bendigo Cup after a few little set backs. He is only going to have tightened up since that run and at this weight sure to be charging home. The French galloper No 1 Americain $4.40 a solid run first up and did look good hitting the line. The barrier is a little worry but have to respect on that run. No 23 Niwot $12 is another excellent light weight chance. His Lexus win was good and this has been a great training feat from the Hawkes team. No 22 Tullamore $26 didn’t have to run on the weekend after qualifying and the rest is sure to have freshened. Meets Americain much better at the weights and don’t dismiss his chances. So I have gone against the trend of international horses and have my fingers crossed.

Quinella 1,17,22,23 Trifecta 1,17,22,23 / 1,2,3,10,17,22,23 / 1,2,3,8,9,10,17,22,23 costs $168 a full unit.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs Handicap JW Stakes (Listed) – 03.55pm

A very hard and open race here. No 12 Lone Command $5 (nom Wed) returns from Sydney and is in good form. I can see him getting a pretty good sit and cart in this race and a big chance to run over these down the straight. No 4 Lamasery $5, will he start? Scratched from the Bendigo Cup with a leg infection and will just have to wait and see. If starts a chance as has been in good form. No 1 Linton $7.50 is lightly raced and frustrating to try and follow. Hasn’t raced since pulling up lame after last start. He has talent for sure and cannot discount. No 6 Extra Zero $13 at these odds is an excellent each way chance. Multiple players include No 2 Red Collossus $7, No 16 Foxham $21 and No 11 Blackie $8.

Race 9 – 1200mtrs Handicap (Listed) – 04.35pm

A very hard and open race for me. No 4 Perturbo $11 (nom Thur) is looking great I have heard and goes well down the straight here. No 5 Facile Tigre $12 this Queensland horse has been excellent first two starts in Victoria. Cannot fault his form and it will be just how he handles the straight running. No 13 Utah Saints $15 is another with a chance at odds. He will lead this a long way I think and take running down. No 19 Screen $13 watching some of his runs if he is switched on he is a chance here. Also No 7 Shadowfax $8 and No 11 Parables $6 cannot be left out.

Race 10 – 1400mtrs 4yo & 5yo Handicap – 05.15pm

No 8 Studley Park $7
looks great I have heard and will be ready to give this a big shake. No 14 Too Deadly $6.50 both runs back from the spell has been a little unlucky and with Brown on top a good chance of a change of luck. No 15 Sussuro $11 (nom race 4) if starts here has run two good races back from a long spell and not without a chance. No 2 Under The Eiffel $5 returned from the spell and won well even with a riderless horse hampering him in the straight. It was an impressive win. Multiples go wide No 16 Saint Angers $17, No 5 Miss Chatter $21 and No 6 Bagman $4.60.

Flemington Victoria Derby Day Horse Racing Tips Saturday 29th October 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

What a day of racing and hope we can pick a few winners. There will be a few short favourites here but hope we can get some multiples to add value. Good luck if punting and remember to bet within your means.

Race 1 – 1600mtrs 3yo Carbine Club Stakes (Group 3 Open SW) – 11.20pm

We start here with a short priced favourite and he looks hard to beat. No 1 Galah $1.60 after his last start win looks like will run the mile out with ease and really found the line well. I backed as soon as markets opened at odds not a lot better than this. Value will be in multiples. No 5 Cross of Gold $13 out to the mile for the first time and looks to suit for me. He is still green but can finish his races off well. No 2 Highly Recommended $13 also out to the mile for the first time, he will be a chance for multiple players. No 4 Meethaq $4.40 (nom Thur) won well last start after being a little unlucky the start before in the Doncaster Stakes and will again be right in this. First 4 players have to keep No 3 First Course $10 (nom Thur) safe as well. A trifecta something along the lines of 1 / 2,4,5 / 2,3,4,5 or 1 / 2,5 / 2,4,5 should add a little value for punters.

Race 2 – 2500mtrs Quality Handicap Lexus Stakes (Group 3) – 12.00pm

There are a few here that need to win this to guarantee a Melbourne Cup start. No 3 Green Moon $3.10 raced wide all the way in the Caulfield Cup, worked to the lead on straightening and then fought hard to hold on for second. He has had a two week break and sure to be freshened and ready to take this out (I have already backed in opening markets and with Tullamore’s scratching will be deductions). For multiple players No 5 Niwot $8 raced on the pace from the wide barrier last start and this didn’t suit if you ask me. Here he will get a much better and suited midfield position and then come storming home. No 4 Moyenne Corniche $9 his only Australian start not so bad as was shuffled back and couldn’t get clear running and only found his feet late and worked home well late. No 12 Midnight Martini $9 last couple of runs has been unlucky, if she could get clear running she could be a big threat at this weight. First 4 players include No 10 Showcause $21 and No 8 Galizani $21.

Race 3 – 2000mtrs 3yo Fillies Wakeful Stakes (Group 2 Open SW) – 12.40pm

Nothing is going to stop super-mare No 1 Atlantic Jewel $1.28 as she has just tossed all before aside and will again here. Value will be multiples. No 4 Dowager Queen $7 first Victorian start was very nice. She didn’t get away well and was held up until about 250mtrs out and then really worked home well. No 5 Gliding $11 must be included in your multiples. Go wide and keep No 2 Pain In The Glass $26 and No 3 Bliss Street $21 in contention for multiples.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs 3yo Coolmore Stud Stakes (Group 1 Open SW) – 01.20pm

Again what could beat No 1 Sepoy $1.28, nothing that I can see. No 3 Hot Snitzel $15 returned from his spell with a good win and looks good, first start in Victoria. No 2 Masthead $19 will be absolutely ripped for this and a must for trifecta players. No 4 Foxwedge $11 another that must be included as well for multi players. First starter from Hong Kong No 6 Bear Hero $17 watch markets as its form is solid there.

Race 5 – 2000mtrs Mackinnon Stakes (Group 1 Open WFA) – 02.15pm

This is an open race for me. No 12 Rekindled Interest $4 for sure is the one to beat if you ask me. In the Cox Plate not a lot of luck, he was away a little slowly and got crowded, went for narrow runs in the straight and was tight running to the line. If he gets a clear run very hard to beat. I backed as soon as early markets opened and do think he is solid bet in a day of short priced favourites. No 14 Lights Of Heaven $11 I think Moody will have her primed here, she is a green and still learning if you ask me but has a lot of potential. No 13 Southern Speed $8 back up in the weights at WFA but she is racing very well. Mutliple players go wide and include No 3 Midas Touch $8.50, No 2 Wall Street $13, No 8 Glass Harmonium $8 and No 10 Foreteller $8 safe.

Race 6 – 2500mtrs Victoria Derby (Group 1 Open SW) – 03.00pm

I agree with the markets at this being a two horse race. I backed No 7 Induna $4.80 after his Geelong Classic win and he has kept shortening. He looks like he has a lot of potential but also still learning but a big chance for me here. No 1 Manawanui $2.50 took out The Vase as $1.22 favourite. Did it easy and looks like he should run this out and the only other threat for me. For multiples No 8 Costly Commitment $21 I like as how he has gone as he has stepped out in distance. Last start in the NR he got tight on the rails and when clear worked home well late showing me he will like the extra metres. No 3 Collar $15 (nom Thur) has potential but is green and you just have to trust breeding and keep safe. Don’t leave No 10 Niagara $8.50 out of multiples.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Myer Classic (Group 1 Open WFA) – 03.45pm

I am really looking forward to this race between super-mare No 1 More Joyous $2.60 and up and coming filly No 16 Mosheen $4. There is an 8kg difference between them here and for sure Mosheen will make this a heck of a race. More Joyous looked excellent winning last start and she has my money on her. For multiple players No 11 Goon Serpent $26 I like how she worked home well late last start. No 3 Lady Lynette $21 is very frustrating but need to include in multiples. No 10 Skyerush $26, and No 4 Response $4.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs Handicap Salinger Stakes (Group 2) – 04.30pm

A nice sprint race down the straight here. No 10 Curtana $10 is at juicy odds and last start a good run against Sepoy as didn’t get clear running until 150mtrs out and worked home well. No 6 Sister Madly $3.80 on current form the one to beat for sure. The only question being she has never raced down the straight before. No 9 Mid Summer Music $5.50 cannot fault her form and she is light and sure to give this a shake. Multiple players include No 12 Stirling Grove $9 (nom Tue) and No 13 Rarefield $9.

Race 9 – 1400mtrs Handicap TCA Stakes (Group 3) – 05.10pm

And a very open betting race to finish the day with $7 the field on offer. Equal favourites No 11 Launay $7 and No 12 Niblick $7 are both big chances for sure. I am leaning to Launay as he loves the track and Snowden is sure to have him absolutely ripped second up here. Niblick hasn’t been seen for 8 weeks after returning with a good win over the distance. Have to trust and keep safe. No 3 Thankgodyou’rehere $8.50 is better than last start and give a chance and keep safe. Multiple players include No 5 Doubtful Jack $11, No 8 Budrigeuz $15 and No 7 Rothera $13.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

What a day of racing we have here. We have 4 listed and 4 group races and some nice horses going around, very exciting. See if we can pick a winner or two.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Herald Sun Stakes (Listed Open SW) – 10.30am

There are some very nice bred horses here. Some have trialed and I have watched these but the markets are going to be the best guide. A really hard race to start the day but looking forward to seeing the smart new 2 year olds here.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Doncaster Stakes – 11.05am

Again this is a hard race and open for me. A good each-way chance at nice odds for me is No 7 Xavi $15. This is a lot harder than of late but it was a good win at Ballarat. Sat on the pace before finding the line well. No 3 Most Husbands $4.50 was impressive last start winning, found the lien strongly and does look a big threat. No 6 Collar $6 I am giving a chance on breeding. Over raced early last start and when settled made good ground late. For multiple players No 1 Highly Recommended $10 nothing flash first up but drops weight here and will be better for the run.

Race 3 – 2500mtrs Bart Cummings Quality Handicap (Listed Race) – 11.40am

No 4 Niwot $4
couldn’t get clear running last start. Found the line well weaving in down the straight. The step up in distance and the track being a little wet all bonuses for me. No 2 Mourayan $6.50 has the runs under the belt here, has not won past 1800mtrs but has run some good races in much harder races in group company. No 10 Swooper $10 is light here and goes alright on the wet track. No 7 Above Average $6.50 for multiple players.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares Blazer Stakes (Group 2 SW) – 12.15pm

A hard race for me but No 3 Parables $4 both runs back have been very good. Last start really started to hit the line well late. No 2 Keep The Peace $10 has drawn off the track but will come in with scratching. Not a bad run for the Kiwi first time in Australia, did a bit wrong and should be better. No 10 Booklet $15 will be better suited here with the extra metres and sting out of the track. Can finish her races off well. No 13 Annlea $15 a decent first up run and goes well second up.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies Manifold Stakes (Group 2 SW) – 12.50pm

No 5 Celebrity Girl $2.90
dead heated for first and was then relegated on protest. She did shift out and the upheld protest justified. I still like her and she is still young and green. She looked to have the better of these last start. No 6 Euryale $12 could be an outside that upsets the fancy lot. Goes well at the track and on the wet and last start not tested. No 1 Mosheen $3.50 protested against CG and did have to alter course a little but not stopped riding. No 1 Bliss Street $4.80 was the winner on protest and did come from well back hitting the line very well.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Gilgai Stakes (Group2 SW) – 01.25pm

What an open race. No 1 Decision Time $7 is a quality horse across from Sydney for the first time. I have heard he looks an absolute treat and looked great at training. Has the runs under the belt and sure to be a threat. No 17 Curtana $11 goes well here and handles the wet. Another that has looked well this week. No 18 Varenna Miss $6 must respect first up. She is sure to be around the finish. No 10 Elusive Touch $15 for multiple players.

Race 7 – 2000mtrs 4yo & up Turnbill Stakes (Group 1 SW) – 02.05pm

You just cannot go past December Draw $2.90 in the form he is showing. This is his biggest test for sure but he looks to have these covered. No 3 Playing God $13 both Victorian runs have been good and looks like he will appreciate the 10 furlongs. No 5 Linton $9 we will see his best here, was scratched Friday night at Moonee Valley. A nice horse and will not let DD have it all his own way. No 12 Absolutely $15 for multiple players.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs 3yo UCI Stakes (Listed SW) – 02.40pm

No 3 Costly Commitment $3.40
is another that looks too good for these here. On form is going to be hard to beat. No 11 Power Broker $15 from Gai Waterhouse won first up in an easy race and comes to Victoria and this race will be a big test. I like his win as he led and then kicked away and held on strongly. No 14 Vatuvei $5.50 is another drawn wide and will need a little luck but last start really found the line well last start late. For multiple players No 5 Berenger $8.50 for multiple players.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 3rd September 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1100mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap (Listed SW with penalties– 12.45pm

I agree with markets here and I have already backed No 5 Celebrity Girl $2.10. A very nice debut, very good win and looks like she could be a handy horse. No 3 Star Salute $4.80 in the powerful Moody camp needs to be respected. A big win last start as if you watch the race was tightened badly at the start and settled last. She usually races on the speed. She knuckled down in the straight and hit the line well for a good win. No 6 Ervbefel $4.80 is better than last start, she came out last and if you read the stewards report you see why. I have watched her other three runs and she is nice. For multiple players go wide and include No 8 Platelet $21 and No 4 Aomaru Rose $15.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Handicap (Listed SW with penalties) – 01.20pm

A very open race, a big field and many possibilities in the running. I cannot go past No 8 That’s The One $3.60 after watching both wins to date a few times it is hard to go past him. Was freshened and had a trial last week and won that as well and looks the goods here. No 14 Specter $15 settled back last start and then worked home well. Looks like extra metres will suit. No 11 Chase The Rainbow $15 has drawn the outside but will come in with scratching. Last two wins on the synthetic have been solid. No 15 Dontmentionthewar $15 a great name, also drawn wide but looks a handy horse watching both of his runs.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Handicap (Listed) – 02.00pm

This is a very hard race. No 7 Bullbars $8 will get back and the big field a worry as there will be plenty of traffic but he will be running home hard, there is pace in this race and this will suit him. No 8 Dreamaway $10 has come across from Perth and set for the Melbourne Cup. Have to respect Perth form but follow over further. No 14 Niblick $4.80 goes well fresh and will get better over distance.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs 3yo Danehill Stakes (Group 2 set weights) – 02.40pm

If you have a house put it on No 1 Sepoy $1.20 as he will not be beaten. No 7 Mosheen $8 returns to open company and drops weight. A decent first up run and really looked good the last 150mtrs. No 2 Masthead $26 first up and goes well fresh. No 8 Hallowelle Belle $8 is light and a nice filly.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares Let’s Elope Stakes (Group 2 set weights) – 03.20pm

Another tough race and I am going with No 7 Parables $3.40 as her run back from the spell was good. Couldn’t get clear running in the straight and late and really knuckled down the last 200mtrs working home the best of anything. No 8 Mid Summer Music $9 drawn wide but does have speed. A few inside her also speedy so she could get stuck a little wide, have to wait and see. No 13 Biancon Rose $8.50 is racing well but the worry is the barrier as she can be slowly away and might get pocketed away. Multiple players will have to go very wide and include No 3 Lady Lynette $15, No 6 Pinker Pinker $7.50 and No 5 Do Ra Mi $11.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs Makybe Diva Stakes (Group 2 WFA) – 04.00pm

No 16 Lights Of Heaven $1.70
should have won last start against Whobegotyou but a poor ride by the jockey cost dearly. I backed on Wednesday and she has shortened but cannot see anything beating her. No 8 Glass Harmonium $5.50 has finally been brought to Melbourne by Moroney. Since hitting Australian shores solid and sure to be in the mix. No 14 Playing God $6 a Perth horse with proven group form returns to Melbourne and has a good first up run under the belt. No 7 At First Sight $51 not a bad Australian debut, led till the 400mtrs. Will get better with distance.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 4yo & up Bobby Lewis Quality Handicap (Group 3) – 04.40pm

I think this is a much harder sprint race than markets suggest. No 12 Bel Sprinter $3.40 for sure is the one to beat. Has won 4 from 4 and last start another solid win in listed company but here I can see some real speed early on, more than he has had before. Will have to wait and see. No 14 Dubleanny $5.50 returns and track, distance and first up record hard to go past. I watched her trial win and she looks great. No 2 Torak Toff $16 first up at this track have to respect. No 17 Offenders $23 was hammering home late last start.

Race 8 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 05.20pm

I think the favourite here is just too short but we will find out tomorrow. No 4 December Draw $1.90 looks hard to beat on the form he has shown in Australia and stepping out to 2000mtrs and beyond all bonuses. No 13 White Universe $9.50 is light here back in open company. I think a serious light weight threat. No 2 Indikator $14 last run at Caulfield was strong, was backed well late. No 8 Lakedro $9 finding the line well late last start.
