Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Race 1 – 9oomtrs 2yo Open Handicap – 01.35pm

We are getting a look at some nice horses here. Keep an eye on the markets closely. No 2 Il Cavallo we seen once back in a trial in October and looked good, nominated for the G3 Maribyrnong Plate but scratched. Was put away until now and my clocker says he looks good. Is nominated for Saturday at Caulfield his home track. No 1 Hebrung is nicely bred with her sire a handy sprinter as a 2yo.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 3yo 0-72 Handicap – 02.10pm

A nice handicap race here. No 2 Union Gap $5 returns from his spell. After breaking his maiden duck he went onto a Listed and then Group 3 race and raced well in both. My worry is the weight, an apprentice with a claim would have been my idea but the trainer is obviously confident he can carry the weight. No 9 Double Dee $3.60 is handy at the weights here and top jockey aboard. Is racing well, I have watched all three runs this preparation and should give this a big shake. No 3 Vital $15 she returned from the spell with a very average run but there was no support in markets. She looked well underdone to me. Keep an eye on the mounting yard and markets as she is a nice horse when right. No 4 Beyond Infinity $4.40 returned from the spell with a nice win. This is a big step up in grade but respect on that run.

Race 3 – 1800mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (SW) – 02.45pm

This is a very open maiden race. No 14 Heyday I liked her debut run. She came wide down the straight and made good ground. She is sure to be better for that run and also appreciate the extra metres. No 15 Inflection was in the same race as Heyday last start and another that run on well. No 16 Maraatib to date she is a 700K failure. She is a nice horse, she ran 2nd in the Group 2 Wakeful last preparation. They put the blinkers in her here for the first time. Maybe this will be her day.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Mares 0-82 Handicap – 03.20pm

A nice mares race here. No 3 Thorn Star $3.20 stepped up to group company last start and the run was better than it looks on paper. Got held up in traffic and didn’t get any room to run on down the straight. Became unbalanced when tightened as well. Form before was solid. No 2 Esprit Rossa $4.20 first time over the mile here, she looks like she could run this out. She still does a lot wrong in her races, like she is still a little green. No 5 Graceland $13 is another out to the mile for the first time. She is racing well and need to respect. No 7 Vixen Hustler $5.50 another that must respect.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 0-72 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 6 Escado $2.70 back in this class and at this weight is a good chance here. First up from the spell a solid run. Was well supported and should be tiptop here. No 8 Stockton $8 should lead this and get a chance to dictate terms. Will take running down. No 2 Van Rossum $9.50 with the 3kg claim comes into calculations and also No 3 Tilla Bell Rings $3.80 even with the 59kgs, respect.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0-72 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 4 Mama’s Choice $5.50 can go well fresh. This is a big drop in class for her. She has been a disappointment since her debut but respect. No 11 Marielle $8 back against her on grade here and last start a good effort as she led, on the speed and this is not her usual tactics. I think No 5 Glenmaura $4.40 will try and get across and lead so Mairelle should get a nice sit. No 2  Euphorbia $4.60 goes alright fresh from the spell.

Race 7 – 1300mtrs 0-82 Handicap – 05.20pm

I am willing to risk current favourite No 10 Rugged Cross $3.30. Having first Australian start, the word is he looks good but I want to see for myself first. No 11 Cross of Gold $8 was a 950K purchase that hasn’t lived up to breeding to date. Call me a fool but I am giving him another chance here. He is light and in this company a good chance. No 1 Festina Lente $6 returns after a mandatory spell for a bled, this is a drop in grade and why the big weight. The 60kgs is a worry but a nice horse. No 3 Instalment $10 was a smart horse as a 3yo and then injuries hit. Returned with a couple of average runs from the long spell but if he is right a big chance here.

Best Bet : Race 5 - No 6 Escado $2.70

Best Eachway: Race 7 - No 11 Cross of Gold $8

Best Outsider: Race 2 - No 3 Vital $15

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 2 She’s Gifted $3.10
last two starts only time she has finished out of a place in ten runs. She has been disappointing but she is a nice horse and wouldn’t take much to turn her around. No 4 Dolmabache $6 disappointed me last start but wasn’t supported in markets and do expect her to be better for her last run. No 1 Orchard Street $2.50 is a big threat as racing well and the claim a big help. Last start got into a pocket and could have finished a lot closer.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.10pm

A small field here but a very competitive race and sure to be a hot speed. No 4 Zippa The Rippa $4 has been racing well and comes into this very handy at the weights. No 5 Bella’s Cry $4 cannot fault here form and she is proven here in Victoria. A big threat for sure. No 3 Follonica $4.60 looked much better last start and another that needs to be respected.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 0 – 82 Hndicap – 02.45pm

Another small field but again very competitive for me. No 2 Jeteven $4.60 I am sure he will be a bit tighter here after his ru back from being freshened. The trainer hasn’t gone for an apprentice so confident can sarry the weight. No 4 Flushing Meadow $9 is one to just give a chance card to. Has been disappointing both runs this preparation but is better than that. No 8 Stately Dash $5.50 has been finding the line well and Yendall is on fire. No 5 La Bella Roo $3.60 is a smart horse on her day but hasn’t won since December 2010.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 - 72 Handicap – 03.20pm

Another nice race here. No 2 Szewinska disappointed last start but give a chance and the 3kg claim a big help. Did a bit wrong last start but the Ballarat win before that very nice. No 4 Tatum she has looked very good this preparation and really hit the line hard last start to just get up. No 6 Notice Received a good debut win and supported at odds late from $8-$5. No 5 Godliness a multiples must.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.00pm

Another good race here. No 6 Reassert $4.40 returned from a very long spell and looked to need the run. He is a nice horse and I am willing to give a chance. No 8 Rebel Truce $8 forgive last start as the wide barrier he went back last and only got going late. Should sit a lot handier here. No 2 Silky Smooth $12 has a 3kg claim and I do expect a better horse here. No 10 Adams Bell $7 for multiple players.

Race 6 – 1800mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.40pm

This looked an open race on form and markets show that as well. I have rated the current favourite No 4 Hot Power $5.50 well out in front of the others and not just because of his last two start wins. He does have a good finishing gear and Rodd should get him into a great spot to have a good shot of them down the straight. No 2 Pindarci $8 was much better third start back and won well. No 1 Amber Grey $6 is lightly raced to date and has looked better this preparation and just hope he shows some of his nice breeding at last.

Race 7 – 1500mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.20pm

And a tricky competitive race to finish the day off on. No 5 Cheville returned with a good run back from the spell and with that run under the belt and the claim a big bonus. No 3 Bel Rhythm had one go at this distance and that was a solid run. Hit the line well for a good win last start and need to respect. No 8 Chamandi is racing well this preparation and last start not a lot of luck in the runs. No 4 Second King for multiples.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Saturday 24th December 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 900mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap (Open set weights) – 12.45pm

I am so looking forward to seeing No 5 Ephemera $4 from the Moody camp. I backed here as soon as markets posted and have heard really good things about her. Her breeding is excellent and mum has foaled a few nice horses. No 8 Harpers $5 is a Snowden purchase for the Sheikh and she is well bred as well. Her trial win she looked nice and relaxed and should go well here. No 1 Alezan Thunder $3.20 from Kavanagh from a 7 week break and she is a nice mare. She was still a bit green and I am sure this is the first time she will have winkers on and this will be good for her. Snowden’s other starter No 4 Belisama $9 she looked alright in her trial and should run a solid race.

Race 2 – 1800mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 01.25pm

No 5 Spirit Song $3.50
has returned from the spell with two good wins and was well backed and a solid win last start at MV. Looks in tip top shape coming into this and nice at this weight. No 6 Grenada Road $3.50 we have not seen her best even though she has three wins from six starts. I hear she is looking great and been training very well. Last start she was backed well and a little disappointing but the ride didn’t help as caught on the fence and slowly shuffled back and then a wall of horses and held up but ground out well late. No 3 Mayneda Strategy $10 nom Mon) she has been around in a few harder races and is going alright. Last start she paired up wide on the speed all the way but ground well to the line. No 7 Resounding Miss $6.50 hasn’t fired since returning from her undefeated first preparation. She is a nice horse and respect.

Race 3 – 2400mtrs 3yo Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.05pm

No 5 Dashalot $8.50
has had a month break and should get a prime run from this barrier. No 3 Charlottes Mint $6 last two starts have been good wins. She comes into this is good form and at the weights but her slow starts worry me and they will cost her. No 2 Seduced $5.50 I wish Kent could rectify her poor barrier pace as she flies home and should have won more races. Returns here and expect her to fly home. No 1 Desatin $6 was very unlucky last start in the Port Fairy Cup. Held up from the bend to 100mtrs out and motored late and a good thing beaten.

Race 4 – 1500mtrs Handicap – 02.45pm

I am looking forward to seeing this Sydney horse No 3 Scarf $3.20 as he is more than handy. He can race on the speed or settle back and does have a very good closing gear. No 8 Let’s Be Happy $6.50 (nom Tue) I believe she will lead being this light and set a genuine speed and try and just run them off their feet. No 10 King Cobweb $4.40 is going to have to push forward from this barrier and racing well and at this weight should be around the finish. No 4 Veewap $8 and No 5 Bocuse $8 are both multiples musts for me.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 3 Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.25pm

No 9 Tatum $8
even though she has only just broken her maiden status she did do it well back from the spell. She looks like she benefitted from the spell and from this barrier is going to get a gun run. No 4 Song of The Bell $7 I think she is better suited around this trip. With the 3kg claim and hopefully she jumps alright a big chance. No 8 Soft Sand $3.20 (nom Mon) a very good debut win and she still was green. My only question is the wider barrier and where she gets to settle. I do think this will be run at a genuine pace and give her a great chance to run over the top of them. No 10 Amour Cache $13 another that should be working home well late and a multiples chance.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.05pm

When I was doing the form all I could think was what an open race this is and the markets agree. No 4 Any Dream Will Do $5.50 I cannot go past him. He really impressed me last start the way he dug deep to win. He was under pressure early in the lead at a very good click and halfway down the straight looked gone but got that other gear to just nose across the line. From this barrier they will have to ride her more quietly as she doesn’t have the gate speed for me to get across. May need a little bit of luck but I expect her to hammer home. No 15 Zero To Sixty $15 (nom Thur) this is a big jump from the maiden win last start and maybe the barrier is against her unless they can run her on the speed. But she is light and she does seem to have a very good finishing gear and I think respect. No 10 Tigress Joy $5.50 last start was a very good win. Really impressed me as early on was in traffic and had to be eased a few times and his last 150mtrs was hot. No 9 Flyingconi $6.50 another that won well back from the spell and on that form keep safe.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 3yo Handicap – 04.45pm

What a race this is. I am really looking forward to seeing some of these very handy 3year olds do their thing. Most of us are looking forward to seeing the rematch between No 1 Infinite Energy $4 and No 2 Stratigraphy $7.50 and there is a big weight turnaround but I have heard that IE has looked great this week, absolutely tiptop. I am confident he can carry the weight and salute again. But there are a few more very handy horses in this field. No 8 Astro Damus $8 was much improved after being very green on debut last start. Won well but still looked green and he is going to get better and better with racing for me. No 4 Roses In The Glen $7 I look forward to seeing her at this trip and I expect her to run the distance out.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 05.25pm

My love and hate relationship that can go on with the Hickmott stable will continue tomorrow. I backed No 5 Sheahan $2.30 as soon as markets opened. I have rated him well in front here and expect an easy win but this is horse racing. I was surprised at the odds I got on opening and still think he is decent here at nearly even money. No 14 Power O’Raylee $6 has been backed well my bookie said with a few nice 4 figure bets already. She did win well last start and it wasn’t a perfect run and at this weight is very tempting but I am sticking to my rating but do think she should be right around the finish. For multiple players No 14 King Usain $13 (nom Tue) is another that is light and is racing well this preparation. No 12 Commanding Time $21 (nom Wed) I think a must for multiple players at this weight. He has excuses for last start but before that I like what I have watched of him. No 8 Seguro $13 is another I would included in trifectas and first 4’s.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Saturday 26th November 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Race 1 – 900mtrs 2yo Handicap (set weights) – 12.40pm

Definitely watch the markets here but on breeding for me No 5 Mrs Gray $3.30 and not far behind is current favourite No 4 Members Joy $2.15 that scratched from MV tonight. The others also have decent breeding and should have toe but I think this will be a bit short for them.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 01.20pm

I do think the favourite will be hard to beat but is too short. I am going with No 5 Her Diamond Back $15 as I do her debut run on the heavy track. Breeding she should run this out. No 6 In The Pocket $15 has been his own worst enemy. He has been very green but I do like the look of him. The raging favourite No 1 Cash Bound $1.75 should be favourite for sure but is short. First up from the spell a good win and last start forget the run as was away poorly and then didn’t get clear running until 150mtrs out. This horse has finished just off some smart horses. No 2 Spatha $3.50 with the claim should be around the finish.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.00pm

I backed No 5 She’s Gifted $4 scratched from MV to run here. I have already backed her and got much better odds than this and do think you will get a little better than this on raceday. A really good run back from the spell and she is sure to have trained on and comes into this very good at the weights. No 4 Always Discreet $4.60 is light with the claim and she will lead this and take a lot of running down. No 6 Tariana $3.70 has to convince me she can run this out as does No 3 Let’s Be Happy $7.50 but multiple chances.

Race 4 – 2400mtrs 0 – 95 Handicap – 02.40pm

If it gets wet as I think it will No 6 Sea Galleon $2.80 will again be hard to beat. No 7 You I Find $14 is a horse that needs runs under the belt and has that here and I think will be competitive at nice odds. No 9 Shezaten $5 is light and forgive last start as didn’t have a lot of luck in the running and better than that. No 8 Crafty Cruiser $7.50 has been racing very well this preparation and another that should be around the finish.

Race 5 – 1800mtrs 0 - 89 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 8 Full Peal $3.30
is a country horse in hot form coming to the city for his first start and has a big chance. I have backed already and the odds were better than this and my worry will be the track condition. No 5 Snitza $2.70 for sure is the threat. A good run back from the spell and can handle any track condition. No 2 Rentarossa $41 could be the value injector into multiples. I think he will be better for both his runs and also getting out in distance. No 3 Abitofado $6 with the 3kg claim another that is sure to give this a big go.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs Handicap – 04.00pm

This is going to be one hotly contested race. I just cannot go past No 10 Freereturn $4.40 as is racing so well and comes into this very well at the weights and a big chance for another win. No 13 Dash For Viz $5 will make this a race right to the line as I see it. Last time these two met he had no luck and ran a big race. No 11 Under The Hat $7.50 carries 51kgs with the claim and will be doing best work late and at this weight should be flying. No 8 Chinon $15 as a multiples injector.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Handicap – 04.40pm

After going over the form and watching videos I clicked on one of my bookies sites and was surprised No 1 Miss Octopussy $2.25 was this short. She is the class horse and she is going to be very hard to beat but I think a few of the others will make this a hell of a race. No 14 Happy Joker $17 this is a big step up from her last two starts but is racing well and nice and light. No 12 Lady Pania $21 scratched from MV and fresh will run a cheeky race and is light. No 2 Big Spirit $8.50 has to be respected as well.

Race 8 – 1500mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 05.20pm

I am confident on going out on a winner here and have already backed No 8 Snow Cover $3.80 for my biggest outlay of the day. Returned with two god runs in the country and then at Flemington last start really impressed me making good ground after being shuffled back last. Foot is on the till. No 3 Port Vell $14 I think we will find him more forward than usual with the three trials under the belt and the last was a good hitout. No 7 Scaredymac $6 country form is good and the 3kg claim makes him light. No 4 Population $5.50 respect and will be better over more distance.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 2 Darlimurla Star the runs is a lot better than it suggests on paper. Not a lot of luck but did look good in the running of the race and found feet late. No 1 Danzare so close to a win and gets another good chance here. No 8 Circle The Globe stepped out to the mile first time last start and not a bad grinding run. No 4 Stroemsky was a little disappointing last start but give a chance. Moody runner No 12 Zoomania is starts keep a close eye on markets as to date has disappointed.

Race 2 – 1800mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.10pm

No 3 Maquina $3.50
hasn’t been scratched yet, I cannot see her starting here after a nice win last Saturday at MV. Is nominated this coming Saturday and sure to start then. No 5 Our Pride And Joy $3 is a nice little horse and will be hard to beat. No 2 Manila Jewel $8 is third run in here and last start not a lot of luck and willing to give a chance as gets better with racing and the 3kg claim a help. No 7 Seeking Chi $5 this ex Tassie horse is racing well and need to respect. No 1 Apennine $13 is another horse that gets better with racing and sure to be better than first couple of runs.

Race 3 – 1300mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.45pm

No 2 Gigabyte $9
motored home last start for a good win. Looked nice and at juicy odds here. No 6 Wind In His Hair $2.40 is a little short for me. Last start win was good and did it easy but I think this is a bigger test. No 8 Economic $6.50 if starts respect as only got going late last start and finished the race off well. No 1 Sabres $6.50 is better than last start and drops well back in class here and the 2kg claim is a help.

Race 4 - 1300mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 5 Evie Rose $7
this is harder than last start but the 3kg claim a help and ran some good races last preparation. No 2 Penski Material $4.40 looked better last start and set a good pace and fought hard right to the line and sure to give this a shake. No 8 Lady Fortrus $8 is racing well and another that should give this a good go. No 6 Riverina’s Girl $3.80 for multiples.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 12 Sheahan $5
if starts need to respect as he is a nice horse still learning but looks promising. No 11 Orchid Street $9.50 is at juicy odds. She can run a very handy race and with top country jockey on board should get every chance. No 13 External Sunshine $5 is more than handy and looked much better winning last start. No 1 Too Deadly $6.50 is not without a chance.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 3 Brambles $2.50
a good win last start as over-raced badly but was still too good for them. I like the run before that even better and he will get better with racing. No 11 Brochette $11 comes into this good at the weights and is racing well this preparation. No 7 French Caution $18 didn’t handle the very heavy track last start watching the video and his debut win was not so bad. Give a chance. No 1 Destiny’s Kiss give him a chance as last start he didn’t run that well. He is better than that. Keep No 8 Take The Faith $8 safe in multiples.

Race 7 – 1800mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 16 Slippery Satin $7
returned with a good first up run and should appreciate the extra metres as well. No 5 Elms $5 if starts respect as a good stable but can be frustrating to follow. No 4 Bianmick $7.50 back in grade and should be competitive. No 2 Coll and Tiree $5.50 is racing well and must respect. No 14 Master Becket $12 South Australian form is decent but this will stretch but a place chance.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Saturday 12th November 2011 Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Sire Stakes (Listed Open SW) – 12.15pm

This will be a hot sprint with some nice looking 2 year olds going around here. No 11 Vital $4.50 I liked watching her trial run. She looks a nice horse, really nice action. No 1 Andre Roo Hoo $3.50 a very good run first up down the straight at Flemington. Looks a decent horse and only found his feet late in the race. No 2 Differing Fortunes $7 has two trials coming into this and well bred, top stable and need to keep a close eye on markets. No 3 Magnus Reign $8 not such a bad run first up as he did lead and was green I think will get better with racing and maybe also running around the bend as well. Snowden’s other runner No 7 Coins $5 is another that run a good trial and looked a nice horse.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies TG Stakes (Listed Open SW) – 12.50pm

No 3 Miss Stellabelle $4.60
I look forward to seeing her over this trip for the first time. She has shown to me that she should run this out and has my early money. No 9 Secret Liason $17 is way overs for me. Last start wasn’t so bad as did get wide with no cover a long way and did work home well. I think a good outside chance. No 1 Combat Kitty $3.80 is the favourite after a good win last start. It was a big win as had things go wrong and still was still too good. The weight is my concern. No 8 Ever The Same $5 across from Sydney and form there is solid. Multiple players must include No 2 Anise $4.80.

Race 3 – 3200mtrs Handicap Sandown Cup – 01.30pm

No 1 Norsqui $2.80
looks hard to beat as this isn’t a strong race. You know this horse can run the trip and has the runs under the belt and a good win last start for a warm up here. No 6 Jumpin Jack Cash $4.60 last start they rode him on the pace and then took off on the bend and grabbed a good lead and never looked back. Big win and could run a very cheeky race here. No 2 Olympic Win $4.20 is another you know will run this out and is racing well. No 5 Crafty Cruiser $21 could add some good value for multiple players.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs Heffernan Stakes (Listed WFA) – 02.10pm

I am looking forward to this race. No 9 Parables $3.20 hard to fault his form and comes into this after big run last start. He is a classy horse and even at WFA will be hard to beat. No 13 Masthead $4.60 at WFA is only carrying 53kgs. His last 4 starts have been against top horses and not that far off them. I think a big chance at this weight. The other lightweight No 14 Cash Bound $9 will be right in this if you ask me. Weir sent her around in a trial a few days back to tighten her up and she at 53kgs will be hammering home and a good win first up from the spell. No 3 Soul $7.50 has been freshened and is a classy horse. He hardly runs a poor race.

Race 5 – 1500mtrs Quality Handicap A & M Found Stakes (Group 3) – 02.50pm

No 9 Under The Eiffel $2.30
I backed as soon as markets opened and has shortened. The weight is light and the two wins back from the spell solid. Is flying and looks a very solid bet. No 4 Launay $4.60 two runs back have been nothing special but you just have to respect this horse. No 6 Rockpecker $9 has been racing well and last start not a lot of luck but respect. For value No 11 Set The Course $41 (nom Sun) might just start in the Donald Cup but if does run here could add good value to multiples. Completely forget last start as is better than that run.

Race 6 – 2400mtrs Zipping Classic (Group 2 WFA) – 03.30pm

Only a field of 5 runners and with No 1 Americain $1.45 a huge run in The Melbourne Cup, what a run. I have watched the race so many times and still am impressed. Is much better at the weights here and is going to be impossible to beat for me. No 4 Lamasery $8.50 missed a cup start and then ran a big race for a good win last start. Will run the trip out and the way he found the line will be trying hard. No 2 Mourayan $4.60 was scratched from a cup start. An excellent run in the Mackinnon and must respect. For the first 4 No 3 Manighar $9 meets Americain 5kgs worse here.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 3yo Sandown Guineas (Group 2 Open SW) – 04.10pm

No 1 Galah $2.80
is going to be hard to beat in current form but let’s give a bit of an outsider a chance. No 9 Niagra $9.50 drops back to the mile here and I think will run a cheeky race. Forget last start but watch the three before and they were solid runs. No 4 Highly Recommended $11 with run his heart out right to the line for sure. No 13 So Swift $12 and No 14 Westsouthwest $61 for multiples.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs Quality Handicap Betfair Stakes (Group 3) – 04.50pm

No 6 Erewhon $4.60
there is no doubt he is more than a handy horse. Last start was disappointing but getting out in distance will suit and we are sure to see a better horse. No 9 Folding Gear $11 returned from the spell and was a bit of a handful, jockey said he laid in down the straight and was hard to ride but he did finish off well late. When he is right he can run a very good race. No 2 Extra Zero $6.50 a big run last start as was well back and copped a check near the turn and warmed up the last 200mtrs. No 7 Platinum Passion $8.50 is a hard one as the jockey thought she might have come to the end of her preparation last start but the stable said she pulled up well and are pressing on. She is a handy horse and keep safe in multiples. Also include No 8 Belgietto $6.50.

Race 9 – 1500mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap LPFS Stakes (Listed) – 05.30pm

No 4 Hinemoa $9
I am willing to give this kiwi horse a chance. Last start over-raced and was wide and copped a check around the bend. The start before was a handy debut win so give a chance. No 3 Hi Belle $4.60 is racing well but the weight over this distance a worry for me. No 13 Yavanna $5 last start not a good run and give a chance as she is more than handy going on her other runs. No 5 Miss Bindi $8.50 for multiple players.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.05pm

What a hard race to start the day with quite a few with a chance here. No 5 Sparks Burn $5 I do like what I have watched of him. He has been away slowly this preparation at the barriers but will need to jump better from this barrier but I believe is a big threat from what I have seen. No 7 Forever The Chill $3.50 may start this Saturday instead of here. She looks a nice horse and last start could not get clear running and looked nice when finally clear. No 1 Pump It $5 returns from his first spell and wasn’t too bad first time around so watch markets. No 6 Whisper Downs $4 I like the breeding and returned with a win on the synthetic at Geelong and hit line well there.

Race 2 – 3000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 01.40pm

After reading the form and watching some videos I had already come to the conclusion this was a very average race and the only thing that did stand out for me was the favourite. No 2 Jumpin Jack Cash $3.10 has had a let up after a good run against a horse going well. Will be hard to hold out for me. No 1 Rowland $6 will grind this out and sure to be around a long way. No 6 Marked Danger $7 returns to flat racing and with Boss on board respect.

Race 3 – 1800mtrs 0 - 82 Handicap – 02.15pm

A few of these are nominated Saturday so there could be a few scratching. No 3 Noble Park $3.30 is a stayer in the making for sure. Watch his first up run from the spell, he will be better here and I have already had a nibble at nicer odds. The danger is from the powerful Moody camp, No 4 White Universe $3 won well last start as raced on the pace because of the barrier, usually gets back a little and comes home and drawing barrier 1 here will have to do the same again so might not start here. No 2 Stoneblack $10 is racing very well and hardly putting a foot wrong but the other two a class better for me. No 7 Montgomery $21 gets better with racing and also distance but would not be surprised to see him sneak a place.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 - 89 Handicap – 02.50pm

No 6 Winged Charm $5.50
forget last start as ran into a big check and jockey didn’t ride him out. Will sit midfield as usual and be running home hard. No 10 Lady of the Lamp $4.40 just went down late last start and about this time last preparation put some good races together. No 3 Rubinacci $8 will be better with the extra metres and big chance for multiple players. No 2 Gossip Girl $8.50 and No 7 Sorell Miss $5 for multiple players.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 03.25pm

This is a hard race with some good chances drawn wide. No 10 Servant $6.50 worked home well last start, third run back here and sure to be tip top here. No 11 Kaleske $5 a good run back from the spell and step up in distance here will suit. No 3 Absolutely Awesome $4 has drawn wide and will come in a little with scratchings and must respect as looks a classy horse in the making. No 6 Shewan $17 for multiple players.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.05pm

I look forward to seeing No 9 Plain Lucky $2.70 I have already backed in early markets. Moody brought this horse across from Perth unraced after some decent trial form and won his first two starts in Melbourne and then a decent 3rd before being spelled. I had a good report earlier this week and it is just a matter if he starts here or on Sunday. No 3 Columbus $5 returned with a good first up win, when he debuted with his win at Flemington thought he might be a handy horse before two runs that have excuses. Respect the breeding for sure. A bit of an outsider No 4 Blazing Gilbert $26 goes alright over the scamper, this harder and probably last start before the paddock. For multiples keep No 2 Sarge in Charge $8 safe.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.45pm

No 6 Triumphant Choice $3.80
has not won since July 2010 but he did show some old form storing home to just miss out first up at Bendigo, maybe he is back. An outsider No 14 Faltastic $17 won with a good run home last start, time was a little slow but found line well and drops weight. No 13 Cosmic Challenge $7.50 just did too much last start, raced wide and then up on the pace and weakened but fought all the way. No 1 Epic Dragon $6 ridden on the pace last start and will probably have to do again from this barrier and could come into multiples.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 27th July 2011 Victoria Australia

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 3300mtrs 3yo Hurdle – 12.05pm

I am not interested at all in this race and best to follow late money moves.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 12.40pm

I cannot see anything beating No 1 There’s Only One $2.10 (nom Sat), two very good runs back and this field only has one threat but I think No 2 Stardom $2.70 (nom Sat) is going to be a few yards off the pace here. No 3 Angelou $7 for trifectas.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 01.15pm

Again there are two stand outs here. I do think No 5 Moama $2.50 is the favourite and will have just a few yards extra pace than No 1 Ourkohinoor $2.30 (nom Sat). I don’t like the break Ourkohinoor has had and would have prepared to see run again about 10 days ago but I am not the trainer. Moama a great training feat by Moody, she returned after 83 weeks and won first up and a solid win it was as well. For multiples No 7 Super Swell $13.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 01.50pm

If first starter No 2 Luck’s Elusive (nom Fri, Sun) you have to watch markets but is nicely bred and this race is very weak and could end up a walk in the park. No 1 Coronet Bay seems to be a mudlark as in a very heavy track and this could be tomorrow. No 4 Dance For Cash is untested over this distance but should run it out on breeding. No 7 Friday Hussy (nom Fri) a solid run back from a long spell.

Race 5 – 2400mtrs 4yo Mares 0 – 95 Handicap – 02.25pm

There are some absolute glue pots on legs here. I give No 7 Carnivale $7 a good chance and I backed at much better odds than on offer here. Look this trainer is solid and the horse is three runs back here and sure to be ripped and ready to go, was finding the line well last start. No 2 Picalero $2.60 is just too short for me, sure will be a threat but I really don’t know if she will run this distance out. No 8 Lady Fyans $18 for some reason did not handle conditions last start, can run well on the wet and could be a multiples multiplier. I am a little bemused with No 5 Deep Forest $4.20 (nom Sat) as she is nothing special to me. I have gone over her form a few times and looked at the races and other horses from NZ and if she runs like she has in NZ she will be a good 6 lengths of the winner here.

Race 6 – 2400mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 03.00pm

No 5 Jumpin Jack Cash $6.50 I think Kelly Myers has a good chance to pick up a city winner here. This horse has looked good this preparation and drops in weight with the class rise. A good hard fought win last start after being wide a long way. No 1 Fieldmaster $3.50 is racing in good form and can carry big weights so respect. No 10 My Free Will $21 could really add some value to multiple players. No 2 Davcon $4.20 (nom Fri) this is much easier than of late but the weight is a bit of a worry.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 03.35pm

Moody has No 2 lethal Arrow $2.90 ticking over very well this preparation. I have heard some very good things this week and already backed in early markets. The claim of 2kgs is going to help and looks very hard to beat. No 9 Tornado Jack $3.50 is another horse racing very well and is light with the claim and will be steaming home for sure. No 5 Terra Run $14 was backed in late last start from $71 to $41 and ran a good third in the small field. No 4 Kudeta $6.50 last two starts have been good.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.15pm

A hard race to end the day as usual. If No 9 African Heat (nom Sat) starts keep safe even though barrier 18 as will come in with scratchings and racing very well. No 6 Massoni (nom Sat) watch the Cranbourne win as was wide nearly all the trip and once balanced in the straight looked a nice horse hitting the line well. No 2 Jugahlation (nom Sat) looks like he will run this trip out on last start. No 3 Turrif (nom Sat) for the multiples.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 and Race 2 a steeple chase and a hurdle with two very strong favourites being Kerdem $1.70 and Capecover $1.30.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 01.10pm

This is a tricky little race, only seven runners but a few with a chance. No 5 Lethal Arrow from the Moody camp will be the favourite and is racing well, but No 7 Pepin Hoaks is racing in hot form and cannot dismiss No 2 Orientaped which was scratched from Flemington last Saturday.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.46pm

No 2 Typeface $4.80
returns from his first spell, has been gelded and didn’t look to be too bad a horse, ran close to Brazilian Pulse and Warm love. No 3 Jugahlation $4.40 forget last start, not a lot of luck in the running and better than that. No 8 Counterfall $5.50 with the claim here is light and racing well.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.25pm

No 1 Deliver The Dream $2.45 (nom Sat)
is short but back in grade and at this weight will be hard to beat. Is three from three on the heavy. No 2 Jetta $6.50 (nom Sat) if starts and with the 3kg claim is light and will be jumping out of the ground for sure. No 6 Little Artist $4.20 (nom Sat) another Moody runner could upset the fancied stablemate, needed first up run and also the winker came off the bridle in the running.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.05pm

No 10 Sarge in Charge
is an interesting runner, a change of stables the ex Queenslander is racing well and the markets will be a good guide just how well. No 2 Ortaygo may find this a little short but will make a race of it. No 9 Pyrenees Express (nom Sat) has been freshened and is light. No 4 Locke’s Choice is another that will be around the finish.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.45pm

The Moody runner No 9 There’s Only One an excellent run back from the spell and the extra distance a bonus, I have heard she looked good this week and ripped so early markets will be the go. No 6 Fashion Wah Wah was unlucky last start, couldn’t get clear running, hit lead and challenged late but fought hard. No 2 Bondarenko (nom Sat, Sun) was very green winning first up and will be interesting to see on the grass here. No 1 Belaura a good win returning from the freshen up, came from well back finding the line well.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.25pm

No 1 Falken (nom Sat)
nice win after the freshen up but the weight is a little bit of a worry but an honest horse. No 4 Silky Smooth looked like he needed that first up run and will be better for it. Goes well second up. No 7 Devils Quest is another that will be better for his first up run in Victoria and didn’t go too badly.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wrap Up Wednesday 29th June 2011

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips

It wasn’t such a bad day today,

Race 2 - Aporia over-raced and never settled give a chance as stuck on gamely, follow White Universe over more distance.

Race 3 - I had taken the short odds on Johannapine of $2 and she made hard work of it, still learning and Invincible Jess unlucky, follow her.

Race 4 - I had said to watch markets especially on first starter No 7 Chivvy. There was no money but I had a
nice tip for her earlier in the week. I am a little angry as I only had $1,000 each way on her but the $17k and $4,000 was nice.

Race 5 – was feeling good after the nice little win from Chivvy I had a $2,500 each way go at my top choice Ourkohinoor. I backed her at $4.20 and when the money came I was going to get into her again but didn’t (foolish I am) but still a nice pick up $15k on the race.

Race 6 – I thought Summarise would start this Saturday but ran here and won, I didn’t get on board I had an each way go at Third Day and dropped $2k. Merryvale the horse to follow.

Race 7 - Louisville Dancer never looked comfortable in the going, just didn’t seem to handle the conditions but did fight hard. Watch for better track next start.

Race 8 – Orientaped did me proud and returned $4.20 the place. Would have loved the win but Buddy Amazing was primed here.

Invested $25k today and returned just over $52k so a profit of $27k for the day. Bring on Saturday.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips

I am sorry I don’t have a lot of time so below is the horses in order of preference for tomorrow. It has been a quiet week on the punting front. I had three bets Saturday $1,000 each way on Delegance at $11 and $3.10 the place. Race 5 I dropped $10,000 on Shadowfax, very disappointing but there were some small excuses. Then my other hot tip of the day got home, Elusive Touch at $3.60 and $1.90 for $7,500 each way. Only walked away just over $5k up on the day, better up than down. Had three small bets today at Mornington, race 3 No 5 Noble Game $3.20 and race 9 Isthistheone $2.40 and in race 7 Chatrang let me down.

Race 1 – 3300mtrs Open Hurdle – 12.00pm

A hurdle race and I have no interest what so ever.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 12.35pm

No 4 Aporia, No 5 Languid
, No 6 White Universe (think will start Friday at Geelong) and No 2 Mannopoly.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.10pm

No 5 Johannapine $1.80
after very classy debut win, No 3 Koonoomoo $5.50, No 7 Invincible Jess $9.50 and No 2 Parisian Sunrise $13.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 01.45pm

The unraced lot watch markets especially No 7 Chivvy. My standout here is No 3 Soul Mama if she starts, No 2 Joyeux, No 1 Eramor and No 4 Manor Lady.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.20pm

A very open race here with nice odds on offer. No 4 Ourkohinoor $5.50, No 1 Alittlevolcanic $7.50, No 5 Willysfilly $4 and No 2 Humma Mumma $7.

Race 6 – 2400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 02.55pm

Another hard race here, stablemates No 9 Third Day has excuses last start watch the race, No 8 Merryvale, No 1 Irel and No 3 Summarise if doesn’t start this Saturday. Watch markets on No 14 The Pentagon as he has had three hurdle trials since his first up run and will be fit.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 6 Louisville Dancer $4.80
is light and a little unlucky last start. No 2 Cool Diva $4.80, No 3 Jewel Thief $10 and No 1 Dashalot $11.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.10pm

A hard race to finish. No 2 Orientaped $9, No 3 Graphic $4.60, No 1 Conquering Journey $4.20 and No 7 Buddy Amazing $9.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A heavy 9 with fine weather forecast but I cannot see a huge upgrade.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 12.00pm

I have had a wager on No 1 Soul Mama (nom Fri) after her nice debut and then being put away. She has gone away and come back from her spell looking good by all accounts and has looked nice on the training track. First starters on breeding that should sprint well fresh No 3 Mariah’s Pulse (nom Sat) and No 9 Unruly Princess (nom Fri). Watch markets on No 2 Noble Twostep is a nice horse and markets will tell us if she is ready.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 12.35pm

No 3 Queen Delight
a nice win last start if fillies company, steps out into open company and with the 3kg claim a chance to win two in a row. No 1 Chelembra I do like this horse and he has won his trial coming into this race. The claim helps and keep an eye on markets closely. No 4 Jugahlation good over the sprint and should be around the finish. No 5 Guru Bay an impressive win on the synthetic at Geelong but want to see on the heavy at Sandown first.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.10pm

No 1 Maraaseem $5.50
has been freshened and likes the wet track, the 3kg claim will help. No 7 Lunacy $6 is another that handles the wet and the claim helps as well. No 6 Gittana $9 returned with a good win at Ballarat , keep an eye on markets as a handy trainer. No 2 Sean Baile Mor $5 (nom Sat, Sun) a good run last start and this isn’t any harder.

Race 4 – 1700mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 01.45pm

No 5 Jalsah $4
is racing very well and will be a big chance at this weight. No 2 Miss Lily Rose $4.50 returned from a long spell and looked to have plenty of cobwebs, sure to be better for that run and is a much better horse than that as well. No 1 Florina $21 could really add some good value to multiples here, goes well on the wet. No 6 Graphic $4 (nom Sat) if she starts keep safe as she is racing well.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.20pm

No 7 Devilenko $3.60
last two starts have been nice and have to give another chance here. No 6 Ferocia $9 first up and wet all look good for this horse. No 4 Mythical Spirit $5 has been given a let up and is a very nice horse just the track that is a worry for me. No 2 Kenny Kid $10 could add some good value to multiples here.

Race 6 – 1800mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.27pm

No 7 Ruadhan
will be very hard to hold out here. No 11 Vitreous needs runs under the belt, will be fitter and the step up in distance all good. No 1 Fieldmaster (nom Sat) if starts here a chance with the claim. No 13 Coeur D’Amour from the Moody camp for value in multiples.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 03.30pm

No 3 River Bypass $6.50
there was a good go at odds for her first up backed from $61 to $41 and she ran a good third. She goes well second up and on the wet. No 6 Fashion Black $11 a good first up run from the spell and should appreciate the extra distance. No 7 Gossip Girl $3.60 there was good support for her last start but she did too much in front early and weakened. She likes to lead and they will have to run her down.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 2 Mr Make Believe $2.25
looks a dead certainty here. I have already backed but didn’t get much better than is on offer here. No 6 Good Value $3.60 was 2nd to Mr Make Believe last start and a good chance to be again. No 7 Baron $6.50 for the trifecta.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 11th May 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Race 1 - 1600mtrs 3yo 0 - 72 Handicap – 12.10pm

No 4 Fawkner (nom Sat, Sun, Mon)
if starts have to respect after debut win. It was only on a very slow track at Ballarat but does look a nice horse. No 7 Catagious stepped up to open company at Caulfield for the first time last start well, is going to be much better for that run. No 2 Get Out of Town found the line well last start, is going to be fit and likes the wet. No 5 Quadrant is still a horse learning and can run a good race if puts it together.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.45pm

No 1 The Counterfeiter (nom Sat)
if starts here have to respect. Will lead and set the tempo and is a very nice horse and looks good this preparation. No 8 Red Dress Marley (nom Fri) returns to racing after an excellent debut in the Debutante Stakes last October. Has a trial under the belt on the 18th of April and looked nice. No 2 Beseech (nom Sat) a good win returning from the spell at Ballarat, a horse that will get better with racing. No 3 Sammartini (nom Sat, Sun) is another horse that came back from his first preparation with a good run, looked better schooled and a bit more muscle as well. Found the line well. You have to watch the markets on Peter Moody’s first starter No 6 Wagner (nom Sat, Sun) if he starts here. Has trialed and been in work for a while, if starts later in the week get on board as much easier races.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 - 82 Handicap – 01.20pm

No 4 Head North
is going to be all the better for her first up run, was slow away and tightened for room early and also got held up near the turn, didn’t get clear running until 200mtrs out, give a chance as ran some good races last preparation. No 9 Third Day (nom Sat, Sun) maybe finally her Zabeel breeding has kicked in. She really found the line well late last start. It was a much easier race and slow time but she looked good. No 1 Fabulist doesn’t have a great 1600mtr record but I am giving her a chance. She was off the track wide and no cover virtually the whole race last start and only weakened late. Has a big heart and if gets a good cart could surprise. No 5 Mayneda Strategy is racing well and a chance for multiples.

Race 4 – 1800mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.55pm

Watch the markets on No 8 Power O’Raylee (nom Sat, Sun) from the Moody camp. She hasn’t set the world on fire yet. He dad we sadly didn’t see enough of O’Reilly as he retired after only two runs in Australia but was a very smart horse, and her mum La Banca was quiet handy over distance and won her last start at Sandown over 1800mtrs. No 1 Heidilicious (nom Sat) is a nice Zabeel filly, she is racing well and the 3kg claim a big help. No 4 Arizona Miss (nom Sat) last start could have been closer, got caught on the rail and never clear running down the straight and untested to the line. The win before that at Bendigo was okay. No 3 Very Cherry (nom Fri, Sat) a good chance for multiples.

Race 5 – 2400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap - 02.30pm

No 11 Achilles Heel $9.50
from the Hawkes camp has really come on last two runs, finding the line very well and is light here. No 7 Little Slapper $5.50 (nom Sat) ran a cheeky race last start, led by a big margin early on, came back to the field but kicked and only weekend late. No 4 Tully Prince $4.50 this is his forth run back this preparation, last start came across from a wide barrier and led a long way and only went down on the line. No 2 Diamondsontheinside $9 (nom Sat, Sun) will get better with racing and distance like here.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.05pm

Watch the markets on No 4 Innocent Gamble $3.60 as returning from a long spell. After winning on debut in a Blue Diamond preview has not come on but met some top horses along the way. No 10 Spurcific $4.80 (nom Thur, Sat) goes alright on softer ground and will be running home for sure. No 3 Braided General $4.40 likes the Sandown track and the distance and is racing well. No 12 Strike The Tiger $8.50 hasn’t lived up to the Tasmanian form but a chance for multiples.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.40pm

No 1 Sunday Rose $4.60 (nom Sat)
had three trials before first up at Caulfield, she got her tongue over the bit so forget the run. They do put the Norton Bit on her here but not the tongue tie but still should do the job. If she starts respect. No 6 Tango Express $4.60 returns from a let up, has trialed nicely and sure to be ready here. No 9 Dante’s Flame $13 (nom Fri) is an outsider but is very light and can sprint well. No 7 Super Swell $7.50 (nom Sat) has been freshened and a chance for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1700mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.20pm

No 6 Too Deadly $3.80
is yet to race beyond 1440mtrs but he has showed that he is looking for more distance the way he finds the line. No 10 Honourable Aussie $10 (nom Sat) even though easier company in Sydney recent form is good so respect and watch markets for support. No 14 Savaging $13 O’Brien has him ticking over well this preparation. No 11 Our Mastermind $4.50 since coming from NZ has two starts at Bendigo for two wins. This is harder but respect.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 3300mtrs Steeplechase – 12.45pm

I hardly ever bet on steeple or hurdle races. Like to watch them but don’t punt on them. Follow the money is the best I can offer.

Race 2 – 3300mtrs 3yo & up Hurdles – 01.25pm

The only thing I am interested in is the Peter Moody runner having its first jumps start, No 8 Pass Me By has officially trialed twice over the jumps and I would like to see Moody win a hurdle race and maybe go onto the Warrnambool carnival with a chance or two in the big races.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.05pm

A hard race to start with, No 9 Catgotyourtongue comes across from Sydney and on form have to respect as looks the best to me by a few yards but will she handle the wrong way of going, watch markets. No 1 God Help Her (nom Sat) if starts her have to respect, has been in harder races and ran well. Last start a good run and out to 1400mtrs also suits. No 6 Margiela blinkers first time, first up run not too bad, watch markets closely. No 3 Attributes give a chance for multiples. No 2 Evie Rose is racing very well.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies – 02.40pm

Watch markets but for me No 1 Celebrity Girl is the one to watch. She was a $500,000 purchase and is very well bred. Her dad would fly home from back in the field if you remember Starcraft as would her mum Dashing Granada. I think will be a much better horse over more distance for sure like her parents but should sprint well as a juvenile. No 3 Miss Hollyfield returns from her first spell, she ran in two listed races on slow tracks and not disgraced. On the better track and the benefit if racing watch markets and respect. No 2 Firepit, they don’t often start their horses in town unless they think they are a chance, Freedman and the Sheik. Keep a close eye on money moves.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 -72 Handicap – 03.15pm

No 1 Bartonelle
a good run in harder class last start, goes up in weight but trainer confident keeping Melham on board, respect. No 2 Graphic a good first up run at Cranbourne, drops back against her own class here and sure to give her all. No 3 Misty Blue (nom Sat) just forget her first up run, she is much better than this. No 9 Laurel Canyon (nom Thur) returns from her spell, she does go well fresh. Any scratchings or go wide with your multiples, No 7 Cold Steel Rein.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs 0 - 78 Handicap – 03.52pm

No 2 Sense of Sun
has gone strength to strength, does go up in weight but last start win impressive. No 4 Itimio has been freshened for 46 days and goes well around this distance. No 9 Finishing Card (nom Sun) a good win back from the spell and will appreciate the extra distance. No 11 Deliver The Dream (nom Sat) returns from the spell and goes well fresh. Any scratchings No 1 Rocky Times.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.32pm

No 7 No Means Go
is hard to go past as is racing very well. At Bendigo was smashed in the markets was smashed in the markets from $1.75 into $1.35, then onto Moonee Valley where backed in late $2.15 into $2.05 and both times delivered well. No 4 Centexpress ran 2nd against No Means Go last start, the 3kg claim will help and will meet him 6kgs better here, a big difference. No 5 Chief of Staff and No 9 Shot of laughter for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1700mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.12pm

No 4 Epic Journey
has run two good races of late, both races did things wrong or unlucky. The claim helps and sure to be around the finish. No 7 Storm Burst (nom Sat) ran a good race last start, group 3 level led till the 200mtr mark and faded, this easier and will be fit. No 3 Dance With Her goes up in class but last start win was good and run before also solid, respect on form. No 2 Golden Tabby with the 2kg claim will run this out to the line.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Well it was a good day yesterday with 4 winners on top, 2 seconds and 2 thirds from my first choices in each race. The 4 winners paid $7.40, $3.30, $3.90 and $3.80. There are no markets when I do the form I just rely on the videos I have watched and reading the form.

Race 1 – 1700mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 8 Merryvale
the Zabeel mare looks better this preparation, found the line well last start but this distance will be better. No 6 Lordoftheparrots back to this class respect. No 3 State Grade has been competitive in harder company. No 4 Tasteofenergy has a few good wins around this distance but struggles in the grade.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 02.10pm

No 9 Under the Hat
is light and racing well back from the spell. No 5 Sense of Sun, here Sheila and Steven Arnold team up here, another running well back from a spell. No 11 Chive Bloom is better than he is going, at this weight respect. No 3 Gold Sand a chance for multiples. Watch markets on No 8 Prussian Storm as was much better last start going forward early.

Race 3 – 1300mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 78 Handicap – 02.45pm

No 1 Salinas (nom Fri, Sat)
if she starts here will be an easier assignment than later in the week. She goes well fresh and watch markets for any moves. No 6 Princess Narine (nom Fri) s also first up and goes well fresh. No 11 Tolka Polka (nom Sat) is racing well but this will test I think. No 12 Bonneglenfield another that looks good but a class rise will test.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 4 Minou (nom Fri)
is so close to a win, Williams on board a good choice and could have won last start but for a terrible start. No 3 Little Tycoon will appreciate the extra metres here and be in the finish. No 5 Take the Cash (nom Fri, Sun, Mon) ran a gutsy front running race last start, got ran over late but fought hard. No 1 Mayneda Strategy comes back from two group 3 runs, this distance does stretch her though.

Race 5 – 2400mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 17 Rusticated (Nom Fri, Sat)
is the 1st emergency but sure to get a start if he wants, looks very good back from the spell and stepping out to this distance all look good. No 11 Youlwin (nom Fri) is nicely placed at the weights, was last before going around the field to lead at a good pace last start, got run over around the 180mtrs mark but gutsy run. No 16 Count La Za (nom Fri) has hardly put a foot wrong of late, this is much harder but a chance I think. No 8 Celtic Empire is going well, drops a lot of weight and should be running on late.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 3 Koonoomoo (nom Sat)
if she starts a chance for sure, I have watched her races to date and she has a nice action. No 5 Follonica (nom Sat) Williams gets on board and will give every chance for sure. No 7 Volando (nom Sat, Sun) will give a chance first up here. No 11 Caribbea (nom Thur) has been scratched 5 times since she last run, goes well over the scamper against some good horses.

Race 7 – 1300mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.20pm

This is a nice race with some good young horses going around here again. Some have drawn terribly and will scratch more than likely. No 7 Tahitian Black impressed last start winning had shown he looks a nice horse in the making. No 6 Noble Park is still a very green horse and won doing things wrong, will get better with racing and Williams jumping on not so bad. No 10 Retaliate (nom Sun) will give a chance stepping up to this distance, last start no luck and not so far off the winners. No 5 Life is a Cabernet is another back from a long spell and respect fresh. No 9 Redinsky a nice win in an easy maiden but did over-race early and was checked in the running about 900mtrs out.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 2nd March 2011 Victoria Australia.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 2nd March 2011

Race 1 – 2400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 4 Twiginthedesert better drawn here, last start made good ground late after a hard run, Hall back on board a bonus. No 6 Pennon forget last start as was checked badly a few times and made good ground when clear. A very consistent horse and Payne will have her ready. No 2 Kincaple has runs under his belt and the 2kg claim helps, sure to be around the mark. No 5 Keep Cool has O’Brien and Oliver teaming up, has been running well but jumping up in class.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 02.10pm

A heap of first starters here, some from good stables and well bred. Watch markets and follow the money. No 2 City of Song, No 3 Letter from France, No 6 Rheinfels have all won trials and Peter Moody has a nicely bred horse No 8 Star Salute a $100,000 dollar purchase first up maybe but is nominated a few times the next week.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.45pm

No 7 Never Forget
won well last start at Ballarat, was 3 and 4 wide with no cover, worked onto leaders heels three wide and then ran on strongly in the straight. Was challenged about 200mtrs but fought hard and pulled away for a good win. No 1 Paparazzi Dreamer one start for one win, put away for 284 days and returns here and watch markets closely. No 2 Queen Delight two wins in a row and last start gave them a galloping lesson in a much easier class but respect on that performance. No 4 Follonica is first up and Freedman and Williams must respect.

Race 4 – 1800mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 11 Lordoftheparrots $4.60 (special)
has been an unlucky horse, if you watch his runs he is a nice looking horse Last start was unlucky again and Williams on board will give him a good pilot. No 1 Base $1.90 two runs back from the spell, both have been very good and the 2kg claim will help. Looks a nice horse but still plenty to learn. No 5 Mount Everest $9 I liked his run over this distance last preparation at Randwick, both runs decent this preparation and specked at odds last start, the weight is a worry. No 3 Stoneblack $41 trial form is average but wouldn’t surprise me if he runs a forward race.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 3 Translation $12
is a good outsider to me, can run a nice race. Last start pulled hard early and the 3kg claim will help a lot. No 8 Conquering Journey $4.40 was supported late and did run a nice race last start, led them the entire way and set the back markers up but fought hard. No 9 From The Terrace $4.60 is another that the distance looks to suit was right in it until late and has been freshened since then. No 12 Nakaaya $4.20 I am looking forward to seeing he run again, she is a little wide but a smart horse.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.40pm

This is a hard race, plenty of chances for sure. Will need to keep an eye on a number of runners and see where the money goes. No 8 Dashing Stars jumps up in class again but I really liked his run at Bendigo last start. Came from well back and was finding the line well too late. No 9 Originate looked a better schooled horse his first up run from the spell. Was a good win in good time for the Ballarat track. No 7 Quadrant will be better for his first up run this preparation. No 6 Santana is another that impressed me last start with a good win.

Race 7 – 1700mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 6 Lady Pachira $3.50 (special) drops back in class here after a good run last start as she was caught wide early before coming wide in the straight and hitting the line motoring. This is her forth start back this preparation and the extra distance will suit. No 1 Miss Phromily $8.50 has been going around in much harder races, she will appreciate the extra distance and sure to run a good race. No 2 Yasey San $12 is nice at the odds, has been going around in open company, drops back the mares class here and last start a nice run. No 4 Cadenza $8 has drawn dreadfully, drops back to mares class as well here and will be better for her freshen up. No 12 Assertion $6.50 is the second favourite but isn’t going to find this any easier than what she has been racing in of late, her run against Gail at Flemington was good.
