Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 29th September 2010 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 29th September 2010 Victoria Australia

Race 1 – A maiden for 3yo, a heap of first starters so watch the markets. Of the raced lot No 4 Kookaburras from Lee Freedman owned by the Sheik Mohammed first two race runs in Listed Company weren’t so bad. Is well bred and his Doomben Slipper run was making good ground. No 9 Redwin won his trial and well bred and the others watch markets.

Race 2 – This is a hard race, watch markets again. No 6 Varenna Miss returns and has won two barrier trials coming back in this preparation. Her first race run wasn’t so bad as she was slow away and then played up a little in the run. Found contact and shifted off the track but still found the line. No 9 The Yak Attack is out of Choisir who was very handy over the sprint and watch betting carefully. Also watch markets on No 3 Quick Reek, No 5 The Woodsman and No 2 Power Point.

Race 3 – No 4 Simple Task, if you look at his form it looks nothing special, but if you watch the races they really aren’t so bad. He over raced in two of these races back from the spell and last start ran a decent race before being held up and then laid in. I expect a big improvement. No 7 Jillee last start was really solid and just missed out after being held up, is a Galileo so extra metres no worries. No 9 Queen Asa will appreciate the better track and the jockey as well.

Race 4 – No 6 Tea for Three impressed me last preparation with her speed, she is slow out of the barriers and first up from barrier 1 got back on the rails, and then tried to fan wide, held up and the blocked before finishing really well. Needs to jump better but this barrier is better is a little slow. Keep an eye on No 14 Shezaten as Vasil has her nominated for the 1 million Caulfield Guineas. She does find the line well and will be better schooled now. No 2 Miss La Fenz will be much better for her first up preparation.

Race 5 – No 3 Albert Park Lake returned with a nice win, big things were expected of him and looks to better for his first preparation. No 9 Johnnydrama is solid over the 1000mtrs and will give this a shake. No 4 Roll With It a good chance for the minors.

Race 6 – No 2 Kapu Star (also nominated Saturday Murtoa Cup) looks good this preparation, two good runs but will need to be right on to beat No 6 Ruadhan who is racing well, finding the line well and Nolen on board a big bonus. No 9 Well Rounded will appreciate the extra metres. No 3 Unapred for multiples.

Race 7 – No 9 Miss O’Brien returns from her spell, she ran against Tallow, Speedy Natalie and Dubleanny last preparation. Is interesting to see her back and see how she looks. No 6 Rubellite is back from a long spell 329 days and change of trainers, another one to watch. No 4 Mondelago distance and second up all solid, of the only horse that made ground in her first up run on a very heavy track. No 7 Genuine Edge back after 612 days, looked a nice horse his first preparation. No 3 Dazza as it is my nephew’s nickname.

Race 8 – No 13 Chapin doesn’t have the best barrier (14) but does have speed and could cross these to lead. Last start win was very nice. No 12 Get Out of Town is better than form may suggest, his run against Precious Lorraine was good as he hit the lead at the 1300mtr mark before Precious Lorraine hit top gear. No 1 Niblick I look forward to seeing back on the turf and away from the Geelong synthetic track. For multiples No 15 Steel Stilettos and No 8 Keep Cool.
