I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.
I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.
Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.
Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia
Race 1 - 1600mtrs 3yo 0 - 72 Handicap – 12.10pm
No 4 Fawkner (nom Sat, Sun, Mon) if starts have to respect after debut win. It was only on a very slow track at Ballarat but does look a nice horse. No 7 Catagious stepped up to open company at Caulfield for the first time last start well, is going to be much better for that run. No 2 Get Out of Town found the line well last start, is going to be fit and likes the wet. No 5 Quadrant is still a horse learning and can run a good race if puts it together.
Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.45pm
No 1 The Counterfeiter (nom Sat) if starts here have to respect. Will lead and set the tempo and is a very nice horse and looks good this preparation. No 8 Red Dress Marley (nom Fri) returns to racing after an excellent debut in the Debutante Stakes last October. Has a trial under the belt on the 18th of April and looked nice. No 2 Beseech (nom Sat) a good win returning from the spell at Ballarat, a horse that will get better with racing. No 3 Sammartini (nom Sat, Sun) is another horse that came back from his first preparation with a good run, looked better schooled and a bit more muscle as well. Found the line well. You have to watch the markets on Peter Moody’s first starter No 6 Wagner (nom Sat, Sun) if he starts here. Has trialed and been in work for a while, if starts later in the week get on board as much easier races.
Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 - 82 Handicap – 01.20pm
No 4 Head North is going to be all the better for her first up run, was slow away and tightened for room early and also got held up near the turn, didn’t get clear running until 200mtrs out, give a chance as ran some good races last preparation. No 9 Third Day (nom Sat, Sun) maybe finally her Zabeel breeding has kicked in. She really found the line well late last start. It was a much easier race and slow time but she looked good. No 1 Fabulist doesn’t have a great 1600mtr record but I am giving her a chance. She was off the track wide and no cover virtually the whole race last start and only weakened late. Has a big heart and if gets a good cart could surprise. No 5 Mayneda Strategy is racing well and a chance for multiples.
Race 4 – 1800mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.55pm
Watch the markets on No 8 Power O’Raylee (nom Sat, Sun) from the Moody camp. She hasn’t set the world on fire yet. He dad we sadly didn’t see enough of O’Reilly as he retired after only two runs in Australia but was a very smart horse, and her mum La Banca was quiet handy over distance and won her last start at Sandown over 1800mtrs. No 1 Heidilicious (nom Sat) is a nice Zabeel filly, she is racing well and the 3kg claim a big help. No 4 Arizona Miss (nom Sat) last start could have been closer, got caught on the rail and never clear running down the straight and untested to the line. The win before that at Bendigo was okay. No 3 Very Cherry (nom Fri, Sat) a good chance for multiples.
Race 5 – 2400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap - 02.30pm
No 11 Achilles Heel $9.50 from the Hawkes camp has really come on last two runs, finding the line very well and is light here. No 7 Little Slapper $5.50 (nom Sat) ran a cheeky race last start, led by a big margin early on, came back to the field but kicked and only weekend late. No 4 Tully Prince $4.50 this is his forth run back this preparation, last start came across from a wide barrier and led a long way and only went down on the line. No 2 Diamondsontheinside $9 (nom Sat, Sun) will get better with racing and distance like here.
Race 6 – 1000mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.05pm
Watch the markets on No 4 Innocent Gamble $3.60 as returning from a long spell. After winning on debut in a Blue Diamond preview has not come on but met some top horses along the way. No 10 Spurcific $4.80 (nom Thur, Sat) goes alright on softer ground and will be running home for sure. No 3 Braided General $4.40 likes the Sandown track and the distance and is racing well. No 12 Strike The Tiger $8.50 hasn’t lived up to the Tasmanian form but a chance for multiples.
Race 7 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.40pm
No 1 Sunday Rose $4.60 (nom Sat) had three trials before first up at Caulfield, she got her tongue over the bit so forget the run. They do put the Norton Bit on her here but not the tongue tie but still should do the job. If she starts respect. No 6 Tango Express $4.60 returns from a let up, has trialed nicely and sure to be ready here. No 9 Dante’s Flame $13 (nom Fri) is an outsider but is very light and can sprint well. No 7 Super Swell $7.50 (nom Sat) has been freshened and a chance for the multiples.
Race 8 – 1700mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.20pm
No 6 Too Deadly $3.80 is yet to race beyond 1440mtrs but he has showed that he is looking for more distance the way he finds the line. No 10 Honourable Aussie $10 (nom Sat) even though easier company in Sydney recent form is good so respect and watch markets for support. No 14 Savaging $13 O’Brien has him ticking over well this preparation. No 11 Our Mastermind $4.50 since coming from NZ has two starts at Bendigo for two wins. This is harder but respect.
