Bendigo Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 15th March 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Bendigo Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

This is a hard race with many first starters and also some that have trialed very well. Watch the markets closely is the best advice. Horses purchased for No 7 Torahka $175,000, No 8 Wehrman $220,000, No 9 Chi Chi passed in at $425,000, No12 Laura’s Avenue $110,000, No 13 Mazu $220,000.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

No 5 Friend in Deed
from the Bart Cummings stable, first two starts not so bad and Arnold back on board here. He will be better for these two races. No 4 Cosmic Bolt was a $300,000 purchase, first up run was good, sat up on the lead, hit lead early in the straight before being over-run about 50mtrs out. No 1 Generally Yours is a first starter and cost $150,000 and will be best to watch markets on him. No 2 Rockfest has 10 starts for 6 times I the money but no win. A handy trainer and jockey so keep safe.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 1 Arboreta (nom Fri) from Mick Price with Oliver on board is the pick for me. Her first three runs last preparation were on a slow and 2 heavy tracks and she raced well. Returned from her spell on a dead track and ran a nice race. She was up on the lead but posted wide and fought hard the whole way to finish second. Will be better for her run and she owes punters as she was backed from $5 into $3.50 last start. No 4 Caution (nom Fri) is first up here, I like the breeding as dad Galileo was unbeaten his only 6 race runs but mum was also handy around this distance as well. Watch markets for support. No 8 Fashion has been a disappointment to say the least, cost $380,000 and just hasn’t delivered to date. Has finished a few lengths off Pressday and a length off Skilled. First run here in Victoria was promising. No 10 Maker’s Marque has been disappointing to date but did look better last start at Ballarat.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

No 2 Hussallet
will appreciate the extra distance, raced well last start finding the line strongly late. No 5 Arizona Miss (nom Sat Caulfield) is nicely bred and last start was a good run, got too far back last start after jumping away slowly. Came 3 wide on the turn but could not close on the leaders, just too far back. Gibe a chance and watch markets. No 10 Variate is still learning, she ran a good race here at Bendigo two starts back. Last start was slow away and came about 6 wide on the turn, also laid in when under pressure in the straight. Give a chance. No 4 Penski Belle last two starts have been very good. She seems to have improved with racing and should be around the mark.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 9 The Night’s Hot
last two starts have been nice, a good stable and jockey and didn’t get clear until 180mtrs out and flew home to just go down. No 11 Reflect (nom Sat Caulfield), Kent and Nolen team up and she won well lat start. The start before also could have won as was unlucky in that run. She drops 1kg in weight coming up from maiden class and sure to give this a shake. No 12 Queen’s Fashion (nom Fri) was a $1,000,000 (yes, 1 million) dollar purchase and she just hasn’t clicked. Her sire Encosta De Lago was handy but mum Elegant Fashion won over $6 million in prize money. She does have excuses in many races and I want to see her with a clear run and see what she can do. No 1 Epic Journey (nom Fri, Sun) has two runs this preparation, has been around in harder class races and not that far off them, was wide last start and did work home well in the straight.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 10 Chief Red Hawk first up win at Seymour was good, won the race hard as was wide with no cover but last 200mtrs knuckled down for a good win. No 8 General Ney (nom Fri, Sun) has had a change of trainers and was a $380,000 purchase. Comes back from a long 704 day break with an average trial under the belt, so watch markets. No 3 Mr. Make Believe (nom Sun) should appreciate the extra metres here and last start won well. No 4 Our Inheritance (nom Fri) has been going alright, has been freshened nicely. No Sherpa Tenzing was a $600,000 and to date nothing special but you must give a chance. Maybe the spell will have done him some good.

Race 7 – 2400mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.40pm

No 3 Pennon
has four, 4th's in a row and the last two starts have been a little unlucky here and there. I will be truthful I do not have a lot of faith in the jockey but will give a chance. No 5 Gunn and Power was well supported in the markets last start from $14 into $10 late, worked strongly to the line for a good win but the time is nothing special. Could get pocketed on the rail if not careful but I think a good chance. No 7 Spurlash (nom Fri, Sun) is racing well but can she run out the 2400mtrs I am not sure but give a chance. No 8 Show Dancer from Bart Cummings cost $820,000 and has not set the world on fire to date, I have watched him race and there is something there so keep safe.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs 0 -62 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 6 Jake Boy
has two starts and a good last start win. Sat midfield a few wide and then came on at th turn and into the straight hit the line well for a strong win. No 1 Break the Habit, forget last start as is better than that. She finds the line well and I expect her to be better here. No 4 God Help Us was slowly away and sat a long last, I will give a chance as I like something about this horse. No 10 Enternal Sunshine is racing well this preparation and drops back in class.
