Stawell Horse Racing Tips Friday 11th March 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Stawell Horse Racing Tips Friday 11th March 2011

Race 1 – 1100mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

No 2 Van Diemen (nom Wed
) was an $80,000 purchase, is well bred out of Canny Lad and the dam Born Western was also a nice sprinter; I look forward to his debut if he starts here. No 5 Cute Emily was purchased for $100,000, in the Moody camp and out of Choisir who was smart and the dam Prefer an Angel was handy as a sprinter early on in her racing but won at the mile (1600mtrs) at group 2 level. Watch markets closely. There are other breed that should sprint well so watch markets closely.

Race 2 – 1100mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 1 Creed (Nom Mon)
I like his first race start win, he over-raced a little early leading and also layed out in the straight. Found the line well for a very good win for a green horse that will improve more with racing. No 4 Charming Sophie finally broke her maiden status last start, was backed in late from $8 to $5.50. She won well as led and no other runners could run her down. Watch markets again. No 3 Be Tolerant won on debut before failing her next start, got to give a chance and watch markets returning from the spell. No 5 Can Orpener is another that could be a big improver. Failed at only race start and has been spelled for 241 days, is well bred and the dam Orpen Sesame won her two first race starts over 1000 and 1100mtrs and looked nice before retiring to stud after being injured in her third race start.

Race 3 – 2000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

No 5 Board Not Set (nom Tues)
from the Payne stable was an $85,000 purchase, I have watched both his race starts and first up not so bad first start before failing on a slow track. Was slowly away, got tightened in running and had to be checked and just never got going so you can forgive. No 4 Via Savoia (nom Tues) has been around the mark of late, last start was back in traffic and couldn’t get a clear run early in the straight. No 13 Prom Queen (nom Sat) from a good stable has two runs under the belt here and did look a little green last start, should be fitter and watch markets for any support.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

No 5 Getintheque
I have watched all his races last preparation and not so bad, finds the line well and really should have won a race but been a little unlucky, has a trial under the belt and I think will be ready for this. No 6 Money Box (nom Thurs) on paper looks terrible on his first two race runs, watch the markets closely on him as he has blown right out his other two starts and if any money for him get on board. No 10 Sheer Bedlam was about a $90,000 purchase, has been disappointing but this is not a strong race and should be around the mark. No 2 Boy Incredible ran a nice first up run, was a little green and laid in down the straight and was crowded for room late. Looked okay to the line.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 6 Snow Cover returned (nom Thur)
with a good first up win from the spell, then was a little unlucky last start and could have finished closer, was slow away, sat back and came wide on the turn, was making good ground and was then forced to move in towards the rail. I like what I saw and a chance on that run. No 5 Mossadina (nom Tues) has been in good form in easier class and last start set a solid speed leading before being rundown late, fought hard to the line and drops 5kgs on that run with the class rise. No 1 Can Do (nom Wed) is in good form if you watch his last few races, had to lead last start which he normally would not do as a slow pace was being run, set himself up to be run down but fought hard. No 3 Sense of Sun a good win first up and here gets a 3kg claim which will help a lot.

Race 6 – 2000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 3 Monarchs
opened $1.80 but drifted out to $3.20 and was never supported; keep a keen eye on the markets here as he will be better suited on the dead or good track. No 8 Royaltown Road (nom Tues) scratched at Sandown on Wednesday and if starts here a chance for sure. Is jumping up in class but the weight drop helps. No 9 Rose of China is racing well, could have won a few more races with some luck. Last start was specked at odds from $12 into $10 late and ran a very good race, played up in the barriers and was slowly away, made contact in the straight and couldn’t get a clear run. Had plenty in the tank looking at her. No 1 Orientaped will be better for the two runs this preparation and is a decent distance horse.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.40pm

Not a strong race for me, No 1 Hennessey Rhythm has a 2kg claim and will be fitter 4th run back here, was making good ground late last start. No 3 Oshkosh has ran some nice races, last start a strong win on the slow track, I like his run back on the 8th of January at Pakenham. No 8 Full Peal has a handy trainer and looks to be on the edge of clicking into the next gear.

Race 8 – 1100mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.20pm

No 12 Angels in Me (nom Sun) came back from her long spell with a nice win, she looked good on the heavy track and watch markets for support. No 5 Slippery Position ran a very good race after being freshened, stalked the leader and came 4 wide into the straight, hit the lead then shifted out badly and the jockey had trouble straightening her, cost her the win. Getting Robertson on board a good move. No 17 Toydari is the 3rd emergency but is she gets a start I expect her to be around the finish. No 3 High Voltage (nom Wed) after winning his first race start at Horsham and I really like that run has had two terrible runs. Watch markets as a better horse than these runs going on that debut win.
