Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia
Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm
A tricky maiden with a few first starters and lightly raced horses here. Watch markets closely. No 5 Starkiato (nom Wed) they debuted this horse in the city at Caulfield and was very green and outclassed. Was making ground but shifting ground and jockey had to stop riding a few times. Been in the paddock a while and I am sure he will be better schooled. His is still a colt so they are expecting him to be handy and a chance a stud career I suppose. Another out of Starcraft, No 7 True Tussock across from Sydney to try his luck. Has been well backed both starts, first run was decent but last start a little disappointed. Maybe the dry track will be what he needs. No 4 Shadow On The Moon a good debut I thought as got back last and came along the rail and then flattened out well the last 200mtrs. The horse that won that race has been going alright. Looks like the extra metres will suit.
Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm
No 3 Crystal Icon first up from the spell a good effort and last start was also a very good run but may not look so on paper. Was wide and no cover and started to work into it from around the 700mtr mark. Wide into the straight and held position. It wasn’t an easy run as covered a lot of ground facing the breeze and one to just give a chance to. No 5 Greek Legend was in the same race and also not a lot of luck being held up when improving. Was tightened badly but kept making ground and a big threat for sure. No 6 Hearts Are Trumps (nom Thur) wasn’t supported on debut and a big drifter. Was green and needed the run and should be better for it.
Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm
I think you just have to give No 5 Parnissius from Kavanagh a chance. First up from the spell forget run, just trust breeding and with blinkers going on here could make a huge difference. No 2 Jumpin Joh (nom Thur) will be three runs back here and breeding suggest this and further should suit. Did work home alright at longer odds last start. No 10 Lucky Sparkle (nom Thur) looked much better stepping out in distance last start. Just went down and she had to ease around heels after a small gap closed on her. No 8 Vilify (nom Thur) two decent runs this preparation and a good jockey on top. Another Kavanagh runner No 9 Greisen with Froggy in the saddle with blinkers for the first time. Has been average to date.
Race 4 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm
Keep an eye on markets for first starter No 7 Astrodynamic (nom Wed, Thur) if starts here markets are going to be a good guide but has been in work a while and I hear looks a lovely horse and training well. No 6 Vizhaka a solid race last start, was wide and no cover early and pulled up to leaders near the turn and went to the lead. Ran out of gas last 50mtrs but a very big run and respect. No 4 Providence all his runs this preparation have been good another to respect.
Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 03.20pm
No 5 No Vanity I cannot see a lot of speed in the race and she could get an easy lead if she likes it here more than likely. She does go up in weight for this class and has run some decent races in much harder races. No 5 Carracci is a hard one as after a good first preparation came back for just one run and then spelled again and returns here after 289 days. Keep him safe. No 6 Intreeg was nominated but scratched at Caulfield midweek. For sure he will try and get cross and lead and hopefully give NV a lovely run. No 10 Ribati his best years have passed but he goes well fresh.
Race 6 – 1600mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.57pm
No 2 Tanah Lot (nom Wed) has plenty of potential and returning from the spell did what he usually does and start poorly. I was hoping during his spell they might have fixed his barrier tardiness but never mind as he is a big threat here. No 4 Oneman Wolfpack (nom Wed) both runs this preparation have been very good and in this form sure to be a big chance. No 10 Caravaggio has been specked at odds in much harder races. Has run some solid city races and one you just have to keep safe. No 6 Blast Out Of Here a multiples chance for me. No 11 The Best Money Can Buy only carrying 50.5kgs and don’t be surprised if salutes first up from the spell.
Race 7 – 2200mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.32pm
A very average staying race here to say the least. No 4 Blasting gets an excellent chance to pick up win number two here, a big chance. No 1 Deep Cove is one that you need to just give breeding a chance. Hasn’t been great or disgraceful to date but looks to be still finding his feet. No 14 Aspin Nikita has no jockey nominated here. If she starts I do think she will be around the finish. No 3 Hybeam last few runs have been good.
Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.07pm
Not a strong race to finish and I think No 2 Friend In Deed has a huge chance to make it back to back wins here. Scratched from MV Friday night and even though drawn a little wide usually gets away well and I cannot see a heap of speed inside him. Can carry the weight as well. No 8 Tale Of The Sea (nom Wed) won on debut before three failed runs in the city. Handy trainer and obviously a horse that was disappointing back from the spell but wasn’t supported in markets. I think we will see a better horse here.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia
Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo (Open set weights) – 12.45pm
A tough little race to start the day with a couple of first starters that could sprint well. I am going with No 5 Catalonia $4.40 as she impressed me her first run. She led 2 wide early and coming to the turn I thought she was gone when a few passed her but she found some and worked home well to run second. She meets No 1 Ferment $4.20 who won the race 3kgs better. He did look nice winning but I give her a chance to turn the tables. No 8 Samaready $5.50 is nicely bred and she is light and watch markets closely. No 3 General Hap $8.50 watched his trial and he looks a nice horse.
Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo & 4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 01.25pm
I am going for value here. No 2 Rorke’s Drift $4.60 has come back racing well this preparation. Has a 3kg claim a big bonus. No 1 Nicholls Court $2.80 he is a little short for me. He has talent for sure and see that if you watch the few runs before his last spell. I do think this weight even with the claim is really going to test. No 3 Emboldened $6 I think will go alright down the straight here. Last start over-raced early and all chances were gone by the bend. No 7 Beau Vallon $7 for multiple players, this will test though.
Race 3 – 2540mtrs Handicap – 02.05pm
A very average race for a Saturday and one I will be leaving well alone. No 7 Shezaten $5 this could be last start this preparation and won well at Ballarat three back and last two starts does have excuses in the runs. Is racing well and a big threat for me. No 3 Apprehend $3.60 has taken a few runs more than normal to get going this preparation and at this weight should be around the finish. No 2 Chartreux $4.60 if he is on, he will be very hard to beat as he is more than handy on his day and last start did look better. No 5 Supremacy $3.10 is a Kiwi horse across for his first start. NZ form seems solid but I want to see first.
Race 4 – 1630mtrs Handicap – 02.45pm
No 8 Snow Cover $6 is good at the weights and finds the line well. My worry is his slow starts but gets back usually but I just hope doesn’t get pocketed. No 4 Turnitup $2.70 for sure is the horse with the most talent and been around in some much harder races. Will be fitter and only get better with more distance. No 2 Lakedro $8 has become a bit of a bridesmaid. Hasn’t won a race since April 2010 but been close a few times. Freshened and run a good race back and sure to give it a shake. No 9 Bolton $4.60 for multiple players.
Race 5 – 1420mtrs 3 & 4yo Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.25pm
This is an open betting race and could be a good way to start the quadrealla. I am leaving the current favourite No 13 Terpsichore $4.60 out of my quaddie. I can see her getting a bit too far back and walls of horses in front of her. No 4 Creed $17 I am going well wide here for an each-way go. This horse I think you need to give her a chance of running the distance out. I think she looked a little green first up and was a good run ann will only be better for it and the claim will help. Likes to lead and there is plenty of speed in this race but she could get a very nice cart into this with some smart riding. No 3 Evie Rose $7 has runs under the belt here and with the claim will be able to lead and be in it a long way. No 2 Legion’s Belle $8 has looked alright this preparation and another with a 3kg claim that will be a big help. Quaddie players don’t leave out No 7 What A Beauty $5.50.
Race 6 – 1420mtrs Handicap – 04.05pm
No 3 Mr. Griswold $4.80 is backing up from a week ago so has obviously eaten up and trained well through the week. A handy first up run in a hot race. Sat on the speed but couldn’t go with them and is only going to be better for the run for sure. Steps out in distance also another bonus as well as the small claim. No 9 Conquering Journey $7.50 he can be a handful and over-race as Meech found out last start. He is a strong horse and Nolen will have ridden him so many times in track work and know him inside out. Give a chance as sure to be better for the first up run. No 5 Khas Kura $8.50 first Victorian run was good and I think will appreciate the better track as well. No 11 Scaredymac $7.50 only carrying 50kgs and expect her to be coming home out wide late.
Race 7 – 1000mtrs Handicap – 04.45pm
Not a strong race and No 2 Canali $3 a big chance to add another win here. Looked very good last start and showed that the MV failure was the wet track. His first run at Flemington he led at a good click and just got done on the line. Looks fitter and I think can carry the weight. No 4 The Soldier $6 we haven’t seen since his MV run over a month ago. Is light at the weights and can run a good sprint, just look at his record. No 1 Periduki $4.40 with the 2kg claim only carrying 57.5kgs and another very good at the scamper. The only question in the Flemington straight. For multiples No 6 Silver Bullion $17.
Race 8 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 05.25pm
I am not 100% confident but I have had a good bet on No 4 Elusive King $2.60 at odds that were a bit better than this on opening markets. Had good word he looks great and this isn’t any harder than last start. Why connections have Rawiller on top and not Nolen I am not sure but he is a good horseman. No 2 The Big Steel $3.60 ran second to EK last start. Only third run back this preparation and meets EK 1.5kgs better but I don’t think it will be enough. No 6 Right Fong $13 is light and a must for multiples as well as No 8 Fitoussi $16. For me an exacta of 4 / 2.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 16th December 2011 Victoria Australia
I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.
I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia
Race 1 – 2040mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 06.45pm
I think this will be a competitive race between a few good chances. No 8 Bold Trojan (nom Thur) take last start win with a pinch of salt. His two starts back from the spell have been promising and he does look more switched on. Blinkers first time in his big win last start and just have to wait and see if he can repeat here. No 9 Jeune Baby Jeune (nom Sat) two runs back from the spell have been good and the weight is right and sure to be tip top condition. No 3 Bianmick last couple of starts has been over 1800 and 2040mtrs, these were the first runs past the mile and they were good. No 5 Bel Sir if starts a 5 day turnaround but need to respect as racing well.
Race 2 – 2040mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 07.15pm
I see this as another hotly contested race with a few chances here. No 4 Flying Hula $2.90 with the claim and current form hard not to put on top and if runs like the last couple of races will be right there at the end. No 1 Manila Jewel $4 is a big threat and the horse I am more than likely going to back but do want better odds than currently being offered. I think a big each way go but am waiting for any scratching. The claim will be a big help and I hope to start the night off well here. No 3 You I Find $6 she usually needs runs under the belt and has that here and the claim a bonus and should be more than competitive. No 2 Cadenzia $4.20 needed that first up run and is sure to be better here. Multiple players don’t leave out No 6 Champagne Love $9.
Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 07.45pm
This could be a big blanket finish for sure. No 7 Your Excellency $5.50 haven’t seen since solid debut win where he was smashed and bookies were in tears being backed from $6 - $1.80. Did trial a couple of weeks back and looked very good. No 3 Stratumsphere $6 won first two race starts before failing down the straight at Flemington. Returns here and keep safe and I look forward to seeing on top of the track. No 10 Kid Kobe $13 this is a test for sure but last couple have been alright and I think better with the blinkers off. This horse just missed a listed race win. No 9 Empress Cleo $10 opened short but drifted in markets first back from the spell but won well. No 4 Sweet Music $4.60 is the current favourite and form is good and another with a good chance.
Race 4 – 955mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 08.15pm
Another fast and furious dash here and there are a few that like to lead. It could set them up to be run down or get the others off the bit but have to wait and see. No 3 Centexpress has drawn wide but has gate speed and will get across but may be a little wide. Have to respect at this weight and a good threat. No 6 Exceed and Excite is going for 5 in a row here and stepping out to open handicap keeps the weight down and will lead from this barrier. No 7 Save A Penny was well backed last start here from $12 - $8.50 and a good win but her stablemate No 8 Overexposed tried hard to upset the punters. Both are light and Overexposed will be another leading the race. I am hoping Centexpress gets a sit behind EE and OE.
Race 5 – 1500mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 08.45pm
No 13 Friend in Deed (emergency / nom Sun) if starts he comes into this in good form and light with the class rise. I think a better chance here than Sunday. No 3 Condahussler (nom Wed) is racing well and can carry weight and a chance for sure. No 2 Murdoch’s Joy when Cox comes to the city you have to be careful. I don’t think he has had a runner for months in the city and this horse will be ripped for sure if I know Cox. No 8 Seguro for multiple players.
Race 6 – 1600mtrs 3yo Handicap – 09.15pm
I think the markets are a little skinny here and the odds should be a lot better than currently on offer. I think there are a couple of chances outside the two shorter favourites. No 1 Cash Bound $3.50 I look forward to seeing over the mile for the first time. Won first up from the spell as expected and then failed at Sandown but never recovered from the poor start. Redeemed with a solid win last start and must respect. No 8 Soaked $12 is juicy for me. This horse caught my eye in the videos really finding the line well in them. Sure only won his maiden last start but the weight is good and a more than handy jockey. This is my each-way bet. No 4 Fedde $12 is another at odds and watching videos of his NSW form not so bad. First start in Victoria but should be running on late. No 2 Sabres $3.60 well bred and racing well, can carry the weight and a big chance as well.
Race 7 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 09.45pm
No 11 Testanova broke her maiden status last start returning from the spell. She looks handy and should win a few in the city for sure. No 5 Song Of The Bell has been back in work a while and first up here but I do expect a forward showing from what I have heard she looks good. No 1 Draw forward surprised me and many others first up last start. Won a decent odds and not an easy run as was wide. I worry about the weight but the trainer has not engaged an apprentice so must be confident. No 2 Florets we have definitely not seen the best of this horses ability but keep safe.
Race 8 – 1200mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 10.15pm
And a hard but very open betting race to finish the night off on. No 4 Set Me Straight $6.50 is racing very well but this is a big class rise but form and weight not without a big chance for me. No 6 Face Off $8.50 I remember when he came across from NZ and won his first couple of races, since then he hasn’t quiet hit top form. He won last start but if you watch the 4 starts before that in every race had something go wrong or a little unlucky. If he stays out of trouble I cannot see why not a threat. No 5 Dazza $9 hasn’t been great around this distance of late but much improved last start and can be more than handy. No 8 Le Remas $6 does have excuses for last start and hit line well too late, form has been very good and at this weight a big threat. No 13 Sutonic $5.50 gets a start if they want and light and a big threat for sure. Very hard and open race here.
