Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 15th January 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 15th January 2011

Racing at Flemington on a slow track, tomorrow is meant to be cloudy becoming sunny so maybe a track upgrade is possible but being Melbourne it could pour rain.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Plate – 12.50pm

This is a nice race, only 7 runners but some very well bred first starters. They haven’t been seen in public and markets will need to be watched. I cannot even recommend or lean to a favourite as all are strong on breeding. Going out on a limb I would favour No 7 Rocksan $3.50 out of Fastnet Rock and No 4 Light Touch $4.60 out of Charge Forward. No 1 Graskop $2.70 won well on debut

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.30

No 3 A Beta Imagination $3.30 out of Magic Millions winner Bradbury’s Luck is two runs for two wins. Last start at Caulfield gave the leaders a good start before Melham got busy and run them down late, looks a nice horse. No 2 Utah Saints $5.50 broke through for a good win last start, jumps up in weight coming back in class, handles the wet track and very consistent. No 5 Dusty Star $5.50 last two runs here at Flemington have been so close to wins, this horse likes to lay in and out under pressure and has cost him for sure. I like Nolen being engaged as he will be able to keep riding and straighten him if need be. No 1 Cellarmaster $5.50 is a NZ horse that has changed into Patrick Payne’s stable, form in NZ is okay but will have to watch markets to see if any moves.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies – 02.10pm

It is very hard to go past No 1 Warm Love $2.20, she does go up in weight coming back in class but the 3kg claim will make her hard to beat again. No 3 Malbun $4.20 is across from Sydney, doesn’t have to worry about running around the turn the wrong way, handles the wet and sprints well. No 4 Lucky Doris $10 I think she is over the odds, her last start didn’t have a good race and just didn’t put her best foot forward, she is well bred and she won at Sandown on debut over 1000mtrs on a slow track in 56.92. No 9 Arkham $8 I put a big watch on her, she is a first starter and her breeding is very nice. Dad Reset won all his 5 race starts but her mum Ponton Flyer won her first 3 race starts over 1000mtrs and ran 2nd in the G1 Blue Diamond and Sires Produce.

Race 4 – 2000mtrs Fillies and Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.50pm

I think No 4 Fashion Black $3.30 is way unders here, she is a nice horse but is beatable here for sure. I like No 5 Absolute Joy $8 is only into her 4th start back this preparation, she was beaten by Fashion Black two starts back but she blundered the start and was too far back to be a threat. She then went on to record a very tough win at Sandown next start. Will be fitter and the weight is nice. No 3 Appennine $6.50 has been up a long time this preparation but Smerdon has spaced her runs out. She is a nice horse that is racing very well and is light. No 10 Comocean $7.50 loves the wet track, is fitter and last start could have won last start but held up and couldn’t get clear.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 3 & 4yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.30pm

No 7 Orinoco $6.50 won well last start, the run before at Flemington was held up for a good 500mtrs, clipped heels and dipped a little and still finished the race off well. No 2 Verdasco $5.50 returned from a 150 day spell with two wins in a row. Has been freshened 43 days and sure to be ready for this. No 3 Happy Angel $3.30 the current favourite led nearly all the way last start before being pipped late, will again be right in this a long way. No 6 Meddler $5.50 come across from Sydney and ran a good first up run at Sandown, really flew home late from back of the field.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs Chester Manifold Stakes Listed Race – 04.10pm

No 3 Chasm $3.80 last 6 starts have all been group races, his run in the Standish was solid, found the line well the last 400mtrs. Before that his runs in the Emirates and Salinger both good runs. No 10 Offenders $7.50 on Boxing Day flew late, hammered toward the line and is a big chance on that run. No 5 Keano $6 came back from being freshened with an average run, was slow out of the barriers, raced very tight early on, is better than that run and should be better here. No 2 Orbit Express $7.50 is racing well, sure to run another good race and make a fight of this. No 12 Lady Gaga $11 is a mystery, last start at Morphettville was a shocker, bucked like a rodeo horse, form before this was solid.

Race 7 – 1600mtr Handicap – 04.50pm

No 7 Wind Shear $4.80 last two starts solid, last start against Aloha couldn’t match the winner but a nice run and good weight here. No 3 Abitofado $8 was okay first up from the spell, handles the wet, distance and track. No 5 Bourbonstreetblues $26 I think is a chance to sneak into the places at nice odds. No 1 Reverend Lovejoy $19 is three runs back here and sure to be fitter and more forward. The favourite I am willing to risk, No 6 Tears I Cry $3.30 is in good form but this is his fifth start in just over a month, a lot of racing.

Race 8 – 2000mtrs handicap – 05.30pm

No 8 Fieldmaster $3.80 have the two Paynes teaming up. Has been good coming back from the spell and the further the better. No 9 Mycolada $21 had a long 508 day break, first up a good run, second up nothing special but I think will be a lot better here. No 3 Fast Future $5.50 is another stayer that has runs under his belt, was making good ground late last start. No 6 Lord Pindari $4.60 gave them something to chase last start and was only claimed late, fought hard all the way.
