Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 28th January 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 28th January 2011

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 3yo Handicap – 06.45pm

No 1 Master Harry $2.25
didn’t handle the slow 7 against Toorak Toff, he will be better here returning and I have already backed in this small field as he will shorten. No 2 Chelembra $6.50 with Mallyon claiming 3kgs will make these chase all the way. He will lead and will take running down. No 5 Tassa Avanta $4.50 her first two runs were good, she weakened last start to be run down late. She will be stronger here after her first spell. No 3 Cristallo $3.90 drops back to the 1000mtrs, will run a forward race but I like over more distance.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 0 -68 Handicap – 07.15pm

No 10 There’s Only One
has two nice runs back from her spell, she won well in good time last start at Warrnambool, Meech rode beautifully and she found the line very well. No 1 Golden Choice has 59kgs but will run a competitive race, he is a nice horse and Symons a top jockey. No 6 Skimalong has a good chance to break his duck, has had excuses in his earlier races and last start was motoring home too late to just go down. No 4 Nomatamata was a big improver last start, on that run is a chance.

Race 3 – 3000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 07.45pm

No 1 Star of Juene $2.25 should win this, his form is much better than the others and I have backed already. No 4 Montgomery $3.70 has stepped up well in distance each run this preparation and last start win here at the Valley was good. No 5 Pento Diablo $6 last start was leading before McCabe thought something was amiss with him and pulled him up, vetted and nothing found wrong. He is a decent horse. No 7 Equal Rights $12 was a good run last start, got tightened near the turn and hard to get a clear run but found the line well.

Race 4 – 955mtrs 0 – 78 Mares Handicap – 08.15pm

No 1 Pyrenees Express $7.50
returns from her spell, she will lead and even with this weight will take running down. No 7 Super Swell $4.60 is in good form and running solid races and will probably lead with Pyrenees. No 6 Stack Em $3.80 is the favourite and deserves to be on her run at Sandown against Two Hills and Perfect Hostess. I think the barrier will not help her as she like being on the pace and will have trouble crossing with the speed on her inside. No 2 Shabangabang $9.50 is a chance for the places at nice odds.

Race 5 - 2040mtrs Fillies and Mares Handicap – 08.45pm

No 7 Comocean $3
should have won last start, laid in down the straight about 200mtrs out a good three horses. When Newitt finally straightened her she motored to the line just missing out. She lays in often in races I have watched of her. No 4 Appennine $3.90 has been up a long time this preparation but Smerdon has her going well. Current form hard to fault. No 9 Jetta $13 is a good outside chance, this horse motored home late at Moe last start carrying 59kg. No 1 Manila Jewel $5 is a classy horse and even with the 59kgs will be there a long way.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs Australia Stakes Group 2 – 09.15pm

No 9 Typhoon Tracy $2.05 (Super special) returns and will give these a galloping lesson, she is special and even though I really respect No 8 Undeniably $6.50 and No 4 White Friars $5.50 she is just a class above these. No 2 Heart of Dreams $16 may fill the places but will want longer I think. And No 10 Ortensia $5.50 returns from Singapore and is fresh and should be charging.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 09.45pm

No 11 Show Bling has really found her feet her last two races for good wins. She hit the line hard last start to just get up late. No 1 Adaptor should be forward as has been in work for a while, can go well fresh and the 3kg claim a big help. No 4 Can Do with the 3kg claim will give this a shake, worked home well last start and will have trained on since then. No 8 Cavendish drops back to the 1200mtrs and both runs this preparation have been promising. If emergencies No 13 Prussian Storm and No 14 Heyington Honey get starts keep them safe in your multiples.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 10.15pm

No 8 Itimio last start was just outclassed, the pace was just a little too hot for him. Before that his win at Ballarat and Cranbourne were solid. No 12 Stole won her first Australian start, it was only a 4 horse race but she did win nicely. No 4 Zizz $8.50 had a hard race last start, posted wide with no cover and had to ease off heels in the straight. No 3 Reassert $5 is the favourite and racing very well but the barrier worries me for Moonee Valley, it will be a hard run here.

My quadrella for tomorrow will be:

4, 7 / 9 / 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 14 / 3, 4, 8, 12 at a cost of $48 for a full unit.
