Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 1st October 2010
Race 1 – No 8 Very Cherry has an excellent chance is this hard race. Back in May she ran an excellent race against Precious Lorraine, she comes into the straight and switches off heels, at the 400mtrs has to bump a little and loses a little momentum before really knuckling down well. No 1 Julich won well last start, fought very hard on a very heavy track for the win. No 6 Danemark has been scratched 3 times since his close up 2nd at Geelong returning from a spell. Was finding the line well. No 3 Quadrant for multiples.
Race 2 – No 4 Alotta Spur won well on debut hitting the line hard to just get up. Spelled and returned with another solid run against Soul over 1000mtrs. Last start had blood in both nostrils but from external trauma. Has had 79 days and I think a good chance here. No 7 Belle Chantecler ran into a pocket into the straight, switched off heels, then had to push into the clear and still finished over the top of the others. A nice win. No 9 Margiela had to really fight hard for the win last start, laid in a little and had to be straightened but found line well for gutsy win.
Race 3 – No 5 Gallant Lady $3 is 3rd run back from the spell, is a Galileo so the further the better. Is sure to be much fitter and is well placed at the weights. No 6 Wickedly $12 is also nominated for the 100k Benalla Gold Cup on Sunday. It was a really nice win last start, watching the video really found the line well. A couple of whacks with the whip on the turn and then a few in the straight. In two for two over the distance is she starts. No 7 Zauberin $5.50 has three good runs under her belt this preparation and has Boss on board.
Race 4 – A good value race outside the favourite. No 9 Amaudra $7.50 is solid first up and at the distance. At a good weight and a nice bet at these odds. No 8 Tully Dreamer $7.50 although missed the money in both second up runs I am willing to give a chance seeing Oliver is on board and drops 3.5kgs on his first up run. The favourite No 1 Mo Money $3.20 has two seconds, one against Doubtful jack and We’re Gonna Rock, two wins since back from the spell will make him the favourite for sure.
Race 5 – I am going with Humaway $3.70, has a bad barrier but will slot midfield hopefully one off the fence and track the leaders. Has built up distance well this preparation. No 3 Doosra Diamond $2.80 the favourite will again be there at the finish. Was a good win last start. No 6 My Free Will $6.50 not such a bad run against Doosra Diamond last start and Boss on board sure to get a good chance.
Race 6 – No 1 Europa Point $3 returns from a spell, is 3 wins from 3 starts from the spell and 3 wins from 4 start the distance, 2 starts at the track for 2 wins. Has run against some very smart horses. Will be very hard to beat. No 4 Miss Octopussy $3.30 is going to give her a run for her money for sure. She had 3 excellent runs against Dubleanny last preparation and her first up run this preparation was good. Will be much fitter. For the multiples No 2 Alpharari $12 and No 3 Show Sttealer $14.
Race 7 – No 2 Token of Honour $2.50 will be his last run before the 2.5M Caulfield Cup, three runs this preparation, a good run against Charbet, Hasto Pronto and last start against Rainbow Styling worked home well from midfield. No 9 Vallico $9 should be super fit for this. Three runs back this preparation and two really hammering home. Last start at Warrnambool was 4 wide, held up the turn flying home for a good win. Drops 4kgs in weight as well. No 4 Olympic Win $8 could be a big improver, comes back onto his right leg for racing after a race in Sydney, back in January led Apprehend and Grand Destiny over 2500mtrs before being claimed 250mtrs out. For multiples No 3 Astro Gains $5.50 and No 1 Irazu $9.50.
Race 8 – I am hoping the two Testa Rossa horses fight this race out. No 6 Testa Rocketa $2.50 is a little short for me, does have a good 2nd up record but distance not so good and never raced at the tight Valley track. No 1 Testascana $9.20 has drawn the outside barrier not good for this race but with some luck will get a good start and sit. Watching his win last start impressed as he strode out, could be a nice way to finish the night. No 8 Royal Grace is a whopping $18.20, has drawn a bad barrier but distance, fist up and track all favour him. Also No 2 Alannan Lad $4.20 for multiples.

Geelong Horse Racing Tips Thursday 30th September 2010
Race 1 – No 5 Sparkling Stone ran a solid first up run at Geelong, got held up and momentum stopped before pushing into the clear, fought hard to just go down.
Race 3 – No 6 Chasse was scratched yesterday at Ballarat, last start was flying home after being dead last at the turn and wide, much better barrier and hard to beat. Also nominated Monday.
Race 4 – No 9 Miserey ran a very good race from a wide barrier last start, made good ground late and extra metres should suit. Also No 3 Stanhill fought really hard last start to just go down.
Race 5 – No 4 Rockabee Miss won well last start, was 3 wide most of the run and off the turn 4 wide before really knuckling down late and striding clear, nice win.
Race 6 – No 6 Niblick has two good races returning from the spell, a big 7 length win and then a really good close-up 4th, the horse worked up prior to the start. Is also nominated Sunday and Monday.
Race 7 – I really hard race as all the horses are just on the better side of donkeys. On breeding most are pushing this distance, but No 4 Cluziel with a good jockey and trainer and drops weight, breeding No 9 Kissy Lips out of Jeune

Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 29th September 2010 Victoria Australia
Race 1 – A maiden for 3yo, a heap of first starters so watch the markets. Of the raced lot No 4 Kookaburras from Lee Freedman owned by the Sheik Mohammed first two race runs in Listed Company weren’t so bad. Is well bred and his Doomben Slipper run was making good ground. No 9 Redwin won his trial and well bred and the others watch markets.
Race 2 – This is a hard race, watch markets again. No 6 Varenna Miss returns and has won two barrier trials coming back in this preparation. Her first race run wasn’t so bad as she was slow away and then played up a little in the run. Found contact and shifted off the track but still found the line. No 9 The Yak Attack is out of Choisir who was very handy over the sprint and watch betting carefully. Also watch markets on No 3 Quick Reek, No 5 The Woodsman and No 2 Power Point.
Race 3 – No 4 Simple Task, if you look at his form it looks nothing special, but if you watch the races they really aren’t so bad. He over raced in two of these races back from the spell and last start ran a decent race before being held up and then laid in. I expect a big improvement. No 7 Jillee last start was really solid and just missed out after being held up, is a Galileo so extra metres no worries. No 9 Queen Asa will appreciate the better track and the jockey as well.
Race 4 – No 6 Tea for Three impressed me last preparation with her speed, she is slow out of the barriers and first up from barrier 1 got back on the rails, and then tried to fan wide, held up and the blocked before finishing really well. Needs to jump better but this barrier is better is a little slow. Keep an eye on No 14 Shezaten as Vasil has her nominated for the 1 million Caulfield Guineas. She does find the line well and will be better schooled now. No 2 Miss La Fenz will be much better for her first up preparation.
Race 5 – No 3 Albert Park Lake returned with a nice win, big things were expected of him and looks to better for his first preparation. No 9 Johnnydrama is solid over the 1000mtrs and will give this a shake. No 4 Roll With It a good chance for the minors.
Race 6 – No 2 Kapu Star (also nominated Saturday Murtoa Cup) looks good this preparation, two good runs but will need to be right on to beat No 6 Ruadhan who is racing well, finding the line well and Nolen on board a big bonus. No 9 Well Rounded will appreciate the extra metres. No 3 Unapred for multiples.
Race 7 – No 9 Miss O’Brien returns from her spell, she ran against Tallow, Speedy Natalie and Dubleanny last preparation. Is interesting to see her back and see how she looks. No 6 Rubellite is back from a long spell 329 days and change of trainers, another one to watch. No 4 Mondelago distance and second up all solid, of the only horse that made ground in her first up run on a very heavy track. No 7 Genuine Edge back after 612 days, looked a nice horse his first preparation. No 3 Dazza as it is my nephew’s nickname.
Race 8 – No 13 Chapin doesn’t have the best barrier (14) but does have speed and could cross these to lead. Last start win was very nice. No 12 Get Out of Town is better than form may suggest, his run against Precious Lorraine was good as he hit the lead at the 1300mtr mark before Precious Lorraine hit top gear. No 1 Niblick I look forward to seeing back on the turf and away from the Geelong synthetic track. For multiples No 15 Steel Stilettos and No 8 Keep Cool.

Pakenham Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 28th September 2010 Victoria Australia
Race 1 - I am watching No 2 Feng Shui, this horse had an average race returning from a spell but ran against two solid horses called Yosei and Willow Creek first preparation. He is sure to be much fitter and huge chance in this company, but maybe short.
Race 3 - No 10 Tale of Thunder was a nice purchase for Nathan Tinkler (Patinack Racing), has three Listed Races under his belt last preparation against Epic Dragon and Precious Lorraine. In two of those races he really played up and raced badly but knuckled down well late. If his barrier manners are better he could romp in.
Race 4 – No 10 White Universe for Peter Moody, went amiss his first race run beaten by 67 lengths but rider eased up. Returned on the 10th of September with a solid run at Geelong, watching the video he really fought hard all the way after being headed mid race. Sure to be a lot fitter and also drops weight.
Race 5 – A small field and a good chance for No 3 Dubai to Sydney to bring up his second race win. Did have every chance last start and had Damien Oliver on board but what interested me was the betting plunge from $9 into $4.60.
Race 6 – No 3 Morbogal from Robert Smerdon is a lightly raced 4yo, a real gutsy hard fought win last start coming home well, is up in distance but if gets a good sit and nice cart a chance.
Race 7 – The 1008mtr scamper. “If” No 1 Masai Miss starts she is going to be hard to beat. This horse has beaten Dubleanny, ran a great race against Gibraltar Moon and against the very smart Trim. Has speed, and the others should not be up to her class.
Race 8 – No 6 Salamander Bay will like the better track. Being an Anabaa will like the extra metres. First up win was very nice and the video shows her working home really well to win well. Last start did have a chance but was 3 wide and then 5 wide before weakening a little. Only 3 lengths away in the end.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 24th September 2010
What an exciting night of racing and a decent track by the looks of it. Hope that I steer us in the right direction.
Race 1 – 6.45pm – I am going for an outsider to run a bit of a race. No 3 In Faith $16 hasn’t had easy runs this preparation, not a lot has gone right. He is a smart horse and could really give the hot favourite No 1 Shrapnel $2.60 a run for the money. Shrapnel has beaten Yosei and ran a decent race against Toorak Toff, is going to be very hard to beat. No 5 Turiff $18 and No 7 Territory $4.20 for multiples.
Race 2 – 7.15pm – No 3 Jolie Brise $3.10 forget her last start as she was just too far off the other to be a threat. She is better than that run and sure to like the better track as well. No 1 With Decorum $3.80 is up in weight but sure to run a solid race. For multiples the field.
Race 3 – 7.45pm – No 1 Spacecraft $1.75 the short favourite looks hard to beat, two good wins in a row and last start win was impressive. No 4 Playwright $9.50 is 4 runs back this preparation and sure to be fit, was dead last against Spacecraft last start before working home well. No 6 Orchestra Stalls $8 and No 5 Ajhar $15 for multiples.
Race 4 – 8.15pm – I am going for No 3 Netra $6.50, Jarrod McLean is a very good country trainer and has honest runners. Netra first up has 4 starts for 3 wins and 6 starts at 1000mtrs for 4 wins. No 10 Alittlevolcanic $4.20 the current favourite has 3 starts for 3 wins over 1000-1050mtrs. Is going to be hard to beat. For multiples No 8 Sunday Rose $4.20, No 2 Isa Halo $14 and No 5 Save a Penny $9.
Race 5 – 8.45pm – No 6 Linton $3.60 a Galileo should be looking for this trip. Is a smart horse and a good chance here to add a group 3 to his list. No 9 Chartreux $15 there was a good go for him late in the Makybe Diva Stakes firming from $41 to $26, was running along well before meeting severe interference in the straight. At these odds a very nice eachway bet. No 2 Rainbow Styling $8, No 1 Alcopop $16 and No 3 Precedence $3.50 for the multiples.
Race 6 – 9.15pm – The Group 1 Manikato Stakes, with 8 nice starters on the line. No 6 Haylist $1.80 is the hot favourite, with 12 starts for 10 wins and a 2nd won well last start and up 200mtrs only makes it better for him. No 4 Eagle Falls $11 is sure to run well, first up and track record solid. No 8 Latin News $13 first up 100%, never out of the money over 1200mtrs. For multiples No 1 All Silent $6.50.
Race 7 – 9.45pm – This is an open race. No 5 Servant $6.50 Nolen gets aboard the first time, last start ran a decent race and was working home well. No 4 Censor $6 4 race runs for 3 wins and a 3rd, and sure to like the better ground as well. No 2 Epic Dragon $10 ran them fought hard for a good win last start and could again be right there at the end. No 14 Maraaseem $14 is well bred and could be a big improver.
Race 8 – 10.15pm – No 4 Solar Charged $2.90 the Sydney horse has come to Melbourne to try her luck. Has two solid runs under her belt and will be very fit. No 1 Military Rose $3.30 returned with a solid run down the straight at Flemington on a heavy track, she easily beat Solar Charged back in March and she looked nice at her first up run. No 2 Chance Bye $6.50, No 12 Party Hard $26 and No 6 Jesse’s Girl $26 for multiples.
If you want to know what I am backing, leave a comment and your email. It won’t be published and I will send through my bets and also my best multiples for the day.

Sandow Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia Wednesday 22nd September 2010
I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.
I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.
I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.
Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.
Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.
Sandow Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 22nd September 2010
Race 1 – I am willing to risk the short favourite No 4 Tassa Avanti $1.90, when you watch the video of her win it is impressive at Geelong but I want to see her on the grass. No 2 Anguissola $4.80 after winning on debut rana decent race against Broadway Harmony, then returned from her spell with a solid run making ground late. No 3 Kya $4.20 and No 1 Umyeton $5 for multiples.
Race 2 – I am going for outsider and top weight No 1 Evidentia $18 I go way back to January and her run in the Talindert against Start Witness, she was making ground late, in the Blue Diamond had a shocker and on return as well. I am expecting a much better horse here. No 7 Placement $2.50 is racing well with no luck and will be right in this and hard to beat. No 4 Zubbaya $5.50 and No 5 Female Agent $14 for multiples.
Race 3 – No 2 Rundle $1.70 is short but I cannot see him being beaten. No 7 Work the Room $3.80 I am sure will give him a good race. For multiples No 3 Packing Success $14 and No 1 Jeuney’s End $16
Race 4 – These are donkeys, sorry but I am being nice. Of the runners No 1 Good Red and No 5 Solar Reef.
Race 5 – After the last race being full of donkeys, here we have some nice horses going around. No 13 Module $2.20 returns from a spell and is short but his last 3 runs were all smart. No 6 Dysphonia $6 has drawn barrier 15 but I still think will run a heck of a race. For the multiples No 11 Into the Sun $16, No 7 Mystery Quest $31 and No 9 Command Prince $21.
Race 6 – No 10 Eight Pieces $6 has 4 really good solid runs under his belt and last two with not much luck. No 12 King of Mountains $5.20 is going to be much fitter after a decent first up run. No 4 Grand Ransom $9.50 and No 1 Blaze Adrift $12 for the multiples.
Race 7 – No 1 Margham $7.50 with the claim has a chance for sure, is a smart horse and will give this a shake. No 5 Cat’s Pyjamas $5 hasn’t put her right foot forward this preparation. Go back to he first two race runs and wins and you know she has talent. No 4 Inablitz $4 won well first up and now has 4 runs for 3 wins. No 2 Cool Diva $8 and No 3 Testa Monte $26 for the multiples.
If you want to know what I am backing, leave a comment and your email. It won’t be published and I will send through my bets and also my best multiples for the day.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Saturday 18th September 2010 Victoria Australia

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Saturday 18th September 2010
I am happy to be away from Moonee Valley, where there was a pretty big track bias and back to Caulfield. Some nice races and good horses getting about and see if we can find a few winners.
Race 1 – I am going for the top weight No 1 Altius $2.30, his run against Hollowlea was nice coming from midfield making good ground. After race had a cut on his hind leg as well. Extra metres looks perfect. No 5 Seventh Bullet $10 an outsider but I think will handle the track much better than the heavy and slows. No 2 Echoes In Heaven $4.40 is well bred and this is the distance he should be looking for, ran home well first up from a spell. No 3 Mackadoo $12 also a chance for the multiples.
Race 2 – No 7 Platinum Passion $4.80 the lightly raced and unbeaten mare returns to racing. Both her wins have impressed me. Her first start she lead and then fought off her challengers and then at Flemington she jumped terribly and was last, she bunched on the turn followed another horse through and then ran away for a nice win. No 9 Zantelagh $11 I really liked her first up run, she was awkwardly away and tightened for room. Was working home well out wide and could be the big improver. No 3 Sneaky Tsu $7.50 will like the better track, was a good win at Rosehill last start and also very light. No 6 Music in the Park $9.50 is bred for this distance but yet to break through over 1400mtrs, multiples.
Race 3 – This is a hard race. No 4 Avenue $4 is the favourite and has been running in much harder races but I don’t think she is going to have it all her own way. No 3 Nine Tales $10 I think has got an excellent chance. Has a good second up record, distance and also will be much fitter now. No 2 Life to the Full $10 is in Smerdon’s stable now and he will have this horse ready for this. No 5 Okay Oky $18 for the multiples.
Race 4 – No 1 Toorak Toff $2.40 is going to be very hard to beat. He is flying and at this weight will be short. No 5 Kudakulari $6.50 ran a good race against Toorak Toff, was last and then really started to work home well too late. No 4 Anacheeva $5.50 won nicely first up but will need to find a little more speed against the top two. No 10 Rekindled Interest $7.50 I like his two runs back from the spell, has found the line well and could be right up there. An outsider No 11 Comanche Kid $51 from Moroney won at Geelong on debut and since then has been scratched from 2 much easier races including last Wednesday. Is nominated Sunday but if he starts maybe $20 eachway for some fun.
Race 5 – This is an open race and I like No 3 Willow Creek $9. She has run 2 solid races against Star Witness and beat the promising More Strawberries. Her first up run was solid and she is sure to much fitter here. No 5 Sistine Angel $7 won well first up and her only run over 1400mtrs she came home hard to finish 2nd. No 2 Shamrocker $12 is sure to like the extra metres and won over 1400mtrs last preparation. No 4 Ringa Ringa Rosie $5 the Queensland horse does look promising with a few nice wins to her name but I want to see her runs the Victorian way first.
Race 6 – No 10 So You Think $1.85 is the early red hot favourite, and on form it is hard not to like. A very nice win returning from the spell. No 5 Heart of Dreams $6 I give a chance of an upset, he is going to be super fit and two runs this preparation have been solid. Ran a huge race last start from a terrible barrier. No 4 Metal Bender $6.50 also will be really fit, went to Brisbane in May and then 2 runs after a 90 day let up that have been smart. No 1 Shocking $9 and No 3 Zavite $41 for multiples.
Race 7 – No 1 Doubtful Jack $3 has won me a pretty packet this preparation and I am backing him again. He is getting up in weights but don’t forget he carried 58.5kgs against Dubleanny over 1200mtrs in 1m.08.99s. No 4 Rightfully Yours $10 is strong second up and over the distance, likes this distance and more. No 12 Response $7.50 was flying home last start, drops weight and a much better barrier as well. No 10 Woorim $12 the Queensland horse is backing up from last week where its run is much better than it looks on paper. Really look forward to seeing over 1400mtrs here.
Race 8 – I am keen on No 6 Fanjura $5.50 as first up run was very solid with big weight and drops 3.5kgs here. The extra metres will suit and will be right in this. No 7 Moudre $2.50 the short favourite is racing well, very well but too short for me as there are other dangers here. No 11 Mr Charlie $6 won well first race run in Australia, is still light and the extra metres will suit. An outsider for the multiples No 3 Harris Tweed $21 is only going to improve with distance.
Race 9 – Hope to end the day with a longer shot. No 7 Returntosender $11 ran a good first up run back from the spell, the extra metres and also a good second up record as well. No 11 Valentine Miss $7 will appreciate the better track and has a good turn of foot. No 4 Irish Lights $6 will definitely like the better track conditions and was really working home well in hard conditions last start. No 6 I’m A Hussy $5 since coming to Melbourne has really run solid races and will be right in this again.
If you want to know what I am backing, leave a comment and your email. It won’t be published and I will send through my bets and also my best multiples for the day.

Sandow Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 15th September 2010
Race 1 - No 2 Namaste $4 returns and will be hard to beat. No 1 Revention $4.60 will be stronger returning from a spell and No 6 Youeffoh $4 was scratched at a much easier race on the 12th and Freedman and Oliver a formidable pairing.
Race 2 – No 4 Definitive Choice $4.20 could upset hard to beat favourite No 2 Carbon Trader $2.40 and No 8 Border Express $10 as an outsider.
Race 3 – This is a hard race with plenty of chances. I don’t like taking Geelong form from the synthetic track but No 2 Éclair Surprise really won well and watching the replay he looks like a very strong horse. No 3 Quadrant I backed his first start where he was unlucky not to win, I followed him to his next race and hit him hard and he recouped the loss and plenty more. No 4 Typeface is another impressive winner last start. No 1 Comanche Kid another chance as well.
Race 4 – No 7 Charbet $2.60 is flying at the moment and at this weight will again be hard to beat. No 8 Encosta Belief $4.80 has had 2 runs this preparation that have been average but if you look at his form last preparation you must respect. No 1 Red Colossus $4.80 is first up and watch betting for any hints he is ready to win.
Race 5 – No 5 Serenada really impressed winning first up, found so much trouble and flew the last 50mtrs to get up. No 3 Cheap Thrills has to be respected first up. No 4 Pins On Ice also can run well first up. No 1 Over Exposed is a 1000mtr specialist.
Race 6 – No 3 Faster Son $2.20 has come from Brisbane way where he won some races smartly. I watched his last start win and he looked good. I backed at $2.50, my only bet so far of the day. No 9 Second Effort $6 was doing his best work too late last start, sure to be fitter here. No 6 Braided General $6 will run a solid race over the 1000mtrs. No 4 Guru Bob $6.50 for multiples.
Race 7 - No 9 Gallant Lady $4.50 is a Galileo and will just get better with distance. Gets an extra 400mtrs here and last start ran a really hard race but still found the line well wide. No 4 Salinas $2.35 is too short for me. Is a nice horse ad need to respect but too short. No 5 Manila Jewel $7 is running well and drops some weight here so a chance.
If you want to know what I am backing, leave a comment and your email. It won’t be published and I will send through my bets and also my best multiples for the day.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia Saturday 11th September 2010
I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.
I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.
I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.
Moonee Valley Horse Racing Saturday 11th September 2010
Last week at Flemington in race 1 Pinker Pinker got up at $8, Race 5 No Evidence Needed greeted the judge at a whopping $17.20, Race 7 I said to keep Shocking safe and won paying $18.70, and Race 8 Doubtful Jack my big bet of the day won at $4.50. I again to hope and point us in the right direction again this week. This week I will be short on my reasons for the tips as I am so busy. It is 1.40am here and 4.40am in Melbourne and I am in need of sleep as I have markets to watch early as I am expecting some betting moves in some of these races.
Race 1 – No 2 Servant $3 has drawn a little wide but also has a 3kg claim by the jockey. Ran a big race last start after dipping at the start and then posting wide and no cover, ran a big race only weakening late. The 1500mtrs on breeding will be perfect I believe. No 7 Pitt Street $5 terrible barrier and I don’t take much notice of the Geelong form but his first race run against Soul and Breitling was solid, and is very light here. Others No 5 LuckyImbarefoot $14 and No 1 Run For Levi $12
Race 2 – I am going for the second favourite No 7 Why Do You Ask $6 as he has ran good races against Robdon Flyer, Tinamou and his race against Crabs he has excuses finishing 5 lengths away. I think a big improver and very light. No 3 Crabs $2.25 is going to be hard to beat as in great form. And also No 5 Red Buttons $6.50 will be around the mark for sure.
Race 3 – I cannot go past favourite No 1 Dutchy’s Lass $2.90 as she is a class horse and loves Moonee Valley, I am giving No 3 Parisian Sunrise $9.50 a good chance of causing an upset though. She could have finished much closer to Dutchy’s Lass last start as got into a bumping duel at the start and then lost positions when running onto the back of a weakening horse, was also backed in a full point late, keeps Oliver on board and meets Dutchy 1.5kgs better here. Others No 2 Miss Gai Flyer $9.50 and No 4 Lone Rock $8.
Race 4 – The consistent mare No 9 Miss Octopussy $3.60 if you look at her form and see her races against Dubleanny she is a huge chance against this lot. A Lonhro so should handle the wet no worries. No 10 Off The Planet $6 ran a heck of a race against Cat’s Pyjamas last preparation and should handle the wet. I am giving long shot No 7 Testa Monte $41 a chance, totally forget last start. I am sure Smerdon has got her a lot fitter and she has ran decent races in the past. Also No 4 Favelon’s Dream $15.
Race 5 – No 8 True Persuasions $3.80, what can you say about her, ran excellent races last preparation and comes into this first up run very light. No 6 Woorim the Queensland horse at $7 should run a heck of a race looking at the form. No 3 Veewap $12 and No 15 Devil’s Force $8.50 for multiples.
Race 6 – No 1 Reward For Effort $3.20 has brought the money home for me his last two starts back from his long 469 day spell, this is an exciting horse and is going to take a lot to beat it. No 2 Catapulted $4.80 is also a good sprinter and the only query is the track as his dad Catbird never placed on a slow or heavy in 3 starts. The favourite No 3 Haylist $2.60 is hard not to like with 9 wins from 11 starts, but I am willing to risk at this weight and the tight Valley track. No 4 Arinos $15 and No 7 Rostova $11 for the multiples.
Race 7 – What a race, this is why I love racing. No 8 Typhoon Tracy $3 was beaten last start on a track that didn’t suit leaders and she ran a gutsy race. This straight is short and if she is leading on the bend it will be hard to run her down. No 2 Whobegotyou $3.20 was doing very nice work late last start and the extra metres will suit perfectly. No 5 Shout Out $2.80 the favourite ran a monster of a race last start after sitting wide and no cover and then getting into a bumping duel before finding the line well. For multiples No 4 Precedence $16.
Race 8 – No 5 Ghostmilk $3.60 has been a good horse to me and she could continue tomorrow. Is carrying 57kgs but if Peter Moody was worried he would have engaged an apprentice and not Nolen. This isn’t such an easy race but she is smart. No 1 Lady Lynette $7, distance, track and wet weather form all give her green lights. She worked home well late last start and must respect. No 10 Faint Perfume $5 will only get better with distance and have to keep safe. No 4 With Decorum $12 for the multiples.
Race 9 – I am having a bit of an omen bet here. No 6 Above Average $5.50 had two excellent runs since coming across from England. His dad High Chaparral ran 6 races for 6 wins and he has number 6, but also is a smart horse. No 14 Space Craft $3 was very impressive winning last start in Adelaide, watching the video after a bad start just blew the others away and still had some in the tank. No 4 Philda $5.50 likes the track, distance and wet track and sure to run a solid race. No 3 Jeuneyman $13 for multiples.
If you want to know what I am backing, leave a comment and your email. It won’t be published and I will send through my bets and also my best multiples for the day.

Flemington Races Saturday 4th September 2010
What a day of racing at Flemington, a very hard card but I will try and point you in the right direction. Some very nice horses running around. The track is going to be a worry. The last reading at 4pm on Friday was a “Dead 4” but the rain has been tumbling down since then and also the forecast is for very heavy rain overnight and tomorrow. I am doing my ratings on a track that will be slow to heavy.
Race 1 – No 4 Miss Gai Flyer $12 will head to the outside fence from this barrier, she did have a shocker last start on the slow track but should handle it and the only time Nolen has ridden she won. No 9 Pinker Pinker $8 has only had two race starts, and both have been against nothing special but she is out of Reset who was smart and Reset is out of Zabeel so very good breeding and I am giving a chance. No 7 Shiny and New $10 must be respected, a solid record, handles the wet and is light. No 5 Warm Love $31 came back with a shocker of a race and just forget. Form before this very solid and give a chance.
Race 2 – No 1 Precious Lorraine $8.50 from barrier 1 at this early stage shouldn’t be a worry. Is sure to be forward for this first up run. I am very impressed with her last win where she was away terribly but flew home out wide. She will need to jump well or could be locked away on the rail. No 10 Meredith $5.50, I don’t like form on the synthetic track of Geelong but breeding and the way he hit the line is hard not to like. No 2 Censor $4.40 is unbeaten after 3 starts, is running very well and can handle a very heavy track. No 4 The Ruffian $6.50 returned from the spell with a very eye catching run, really hit the line well and the extra metres will suit for sure.
Race 3 – No 3 Fairygem $9 had a terrible race last start and just forget, is a smart stayer and sure to be much fitter and with the stable’s top jockey on board sure to be a chance. No 7 Macedonian $10 the stable mate I also think a big chance. Last start was slowly into stride and nearly put his nose on the ground in the straight, will be working home hard late. No 2 Zoomin $4 will be coming down the outside hard for sure. No 6 Miles Above $3.80 the favourite is a very nice stayer, has Lindop on board not my favourite jockey but must respect.
Race 4 – No 5 Linton has my early money on him. Is $2.50 fixed at the moment and this seems short from barrier 19 but will come in with scratchings and looks like a very smart horse in the making. Out of Galileo who won 6 from 6 and looks like he will follow in his dad’s footsteps and be a smart galloper. No 8 Savquaw $15 has excellent wet track form and is racing well. No 7 Delayedreaction $26 last start just never got going, is a much better horse and sure to be in the placings here. No 14 Syndrome $15 has a good first up record, and well on the wet.
Race 5 – No 9 No Evidence Needed $14 ran some very solid races against smart horses last preparation. Finished ¾ a length off Faint Perfume over 1400mtrs here and that is good form to me. Is out of Shamardal who won his only 2 starts on a slow track but to date hasn’t raced well on wet tracks. No 5 Lady Lynette $4.60 returned with a solid run and was really working home well towards the line, the extra metres will suit and a big threat. No 1 Irish Lights $11 is a nice mare that has just met too many smart horses to date. She was really coming home late last start and wouldn’t surprise me to see her win this. No 6 Response $4.60 ran a solid first up race and was run down late on the line, much fitter now and again will be out in front.
Race 6 – What a race with all attention on No 2 Military Rose $4.60 in her first race in Melbourne I believe she is too much of a risk against the boys at this weight on possibly a very heavy track. If it is heavy she won’t start. My pick is No 1 Star Witness $3.80 as his Talindert and Blue Diamond wins he was flying home. Returned to racing and got away slowly before finally finding his feet to finish just off the winner. No 11 Storm Burst $13 the only other filly in the race is very light, she has a good turn of foot and could be a huge upset. No 3 Buffering $6 is a Queensland horse with solid form and must respect.
Race 7 – No 9 Vigor $5.50 has an excellent track, distance and second up record. Have to respect on these numbers. No 15 Monaco Consul $8.50 will like the extra metres and ran a good race on a track that didn’t suit leaders. No 16 Chartreux $31 is up in weight but will get better with distance and I think will run a cheeky race. No 4 Danleigh $3.60 for sure is the smartest horse in the field but willing to risk as 2 starts for nothing at Flemington. Keep No 1 Shocking $21 safe for the multiples.
Race 8 – I am going with the Victorian horse No 5 Doubtful Jack $3.70 (I backed early at $4.50), this is his biggest test against the very smart Sydney galloper No 2 Love Conquers All $2, I really hope these two horses are a head to head battle but the Victorian edges ahead. For the multiples No 12 We’re Gonna Rock $7.50, No 4 Life to the Full $31 and No 8 Beltrois $14.
Race 9 – No 3 Fanjura $3.80 won both starts since coming across from England. Is up in weight but carried weights up to 61kgs back in England. Looks like a smart horse that could win some nice races this spring a little later on. No 16 Rundle $5 is lightly raced and could surprise here first up after winning 3 of his first four starts. No 8 Makeadreamcometrue $ 7.50 hasn’t won in a while but has a chance to get some money in the places here. For an outsider in the multiples No 2 Capecross $41.
My Quadrella numbers for tomorrow are:
1,2 / 1,4,9,15,16 / 2,5 / 2,3,4,8,16,17 at a cost of $120 for a full unit.
Interstate at Randwick Race 4 horse No 1 Parables I backed with a large wager at $2.90 and is now into $2.30 on some markets. This horse won really impressively after being miles back, and then ran on the worst part of the track still making ground before absolutely motoring home over the last 150mtrs or so. My bet of the day.
Race 5 – I have also backed No 2 Metal Bender $2.70 to beat No 1 – Theseo $3.40 again.
If you want to know what I am backing, leave a comment and your email. It won’t be published and I will send through my bets and also my best multiples for the day.
