Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 18th February 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 18th February 2011

Race 1 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 06.45pm

No 3 Lady of the Lamp
(nom Wed 23rd) is well bred and last start didn’t have the easiest of runs, should handle the rain affected track. No 8 Rossan in the same race ran a big race as reared at the start and was also checked badly before the straight. She has two starts on rain affected tracks one was good and the other an excuse as she did slip badly on the heavy going. No 6 Monte Bella (nom Wed 23 Thur 24th) is a nicely bred filly, she was allowed to dictate her last start win, no pace in the race and she strode to the lead, won easily and keeps the blinkers on. No 4 Wild Goose a nice win last start but had a perfect run, keep safe in multiples. Any scratchings throw in No 1 Means a Lot.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 07.15pm

No 4 Broadcast
(nom Wed 23rd) met a much smarter horse last start, a good run on the speed and the run before against Under the Eiffel very good. A big chance here if starts. No 8 Albertique I liked his debut win at Yarra Valley but his next run at Kyneton just forget as had no luck, nice breeding and give a chance. No 2 Like a Guest won well on return from his spell. It wasn’t an easy run but found the line well. No 6 Off and Laughing she ran some nice races her first preparation, back from the spell and watch markets for any moves. Any scratchings No 3 The Ruffian.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate Set Weights – 07.45pm

No 3 Rezonated
I have watched his last 3 runs and not so bad, last start came from a wide barrier and pushed to sit outside and share the lead, was 3 wide and 4 wide into the turn, fought hard in the straight but used up too much gas as it was run at a good pace. No 6 Willing Journey is first up and on breeding watch markets closely as should run a forward race and handle the wet. No 7 El Solamore returned from her spell with a good run, came from well back finding the line well. Noonan claims 2kgs and scratched from Wednesday for this. No 1 El Blazing Time has only two runs to his name and both are good, both starts ran up on to lead. Sure to be fitter and better for both these runs. Any scratchings No 11 Wilder Wilder scratched from Ballarat yesterday.

Race 4 – 955mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 08.15pm

No 5 What a Beauty $9 I like what I have watched of her, she has run some nice races doing plenty wrong. Is first up and Oliver retains the ride from last start, maybe better schooled now and a big chance. No 4 Magic Tartan $6.50 has come down from Queensland, keep safe as dad and mum were both handy on the wet. No 8 Caribbea $9 has been freshened her 4 solid runs this preparation, she will need to find a length of speed but will be in this a long way. No 6 Follonica $15 is returning from the spell and goes well fresh. Any scratchings No 1 Umgeton $2.40.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 08.45pm

This is a nice race and look forward to watching. No 2 Sublimity $4.80 if you watch all her 4 runs last preparation you will see she is a nice horse, she does like to get back on those runs but she finds the line really well. No 6 Show Bling $2.90 you cannot fault her form, Oliver and Price a good team and she has a good record at distance and track. No 7 Adulterer $8.50 (nom Wed 23rd) is a NZ mare bought by Tinkler, brought across and had one start here at the Valley for a win. Spelled for 77 days but failed only start on the slow, watch markets. No 1 Ariarni $4.60 has got a lot of weight to carry but she is smart mare, god at distance, track, and in the wet so respect. Any scratchings No 3 Happy Angel $5.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 09.15pm

No 5 Conquering Journey (special)
is way better than first up run, forget as he does have excuses in that run. Guaranteed to be better here for sure. No 9 Tough Future is good at the distance, on the wet and has been freshened for 54 days. No 9 Encroacher (nom Wed 23rd) is returning from a spell. Ran a good trial on February 7th so should be forward for this. The 3kg claim will help. No 8 Papercut has drawn wide and will need luck but is a nice horse.

Race 7 – 2500mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 09.45pm

I am going for value over the too short priced favourite. No 3 Montgomery $4.60 (nom Wed 23rd) is racing well, does drop back in distance but good on the track and in the wet. No 7 Pennon $16 (nom Sun 20th) a good outsider, I like his last three runs all have been solid. Boss gets on board and he was finding the line well last start late. No 4 Bolton (nom Tue 22nd) $1.65 if the too short priced favourite for me, he is a nice horse and if you go on the form where he beat home Shewan who has trained on for a good win an a 3rd in the Mornington Cup have to respect. No 1 Sir Walter $8.50 is better over this distance and if it gets wet will even be better for him. Any scratchings No 6 Equal Rights $21.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 10.15pm

No 5 Bushrod
(nom Thur 24th) is racing well and has his foot on the till, with the claim drops a lot of weight only carrying 54kgs. No 6 Danz Boy (nom Wed 23 Thur 24th) is in excellent form and if he starts will be in the finish for sure. No 4 Assertive Albert found the line well last start, the claim will help but is carrying too much weight and unfair I think by the handicapper. No 7 Mr. Molokai goes back up in weight with the class drop but must respect and was really well supported last start from $1.90 into $1.60. Any scratchings No 2 Jackorelli Boy.
