Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 9th February 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form. I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners.

I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings.

I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives.

Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 9th February 2011

Race 1 – 1800mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 12.00pm

No 5 Mr. Molokai $2.50
(nom Fri 11th) will be hard to beat here, Moroney has stepped her up well each start and will run this right out. No 1 Doctor Gachet $14 forget last start, is better than that. Was away slowly well back and only started to get going too late. No 3 Red Hustler $4.60 (nom Sun 13th) is racing well and is light with the claim. No 4 Keeping Score $26 (nom Fri 11th) is a much better horse than last few runs and could place at nice odds.

Race 2 – 1800mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 12.30pm

No 1 Meaisin
is racing well and last start a good win, does go up in weight but the 1.5kg claim will help and will be hard to hold out. No 8 Sands Like A Party (nom Fri 11th) ran a very brave first up race run, led a long way and will be better for that run. No 7 Giggleswick weakened late after being up on the pace but did fight hard and had a few weeks to freshen. No 10 There’s Only One from the Moody camp will be there late for sure.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.00pm

No 9 Suzebabe
(nom Fri 11th) I look forward to seeing her after her long spell, she will be better here and sure to have matured more during her spell. No 4 Meddler (nom Fri 11th) both runs this preparation have been good. So close to a win. No 6 Cold Steel Rein (nom Fri 11th) drops back to the 1000mtrs and will run up on the pace. No 1 Hooness (nom Fri 11th) if starts with the 3kg claim has a claim here.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.35pm

No 9 Chive Bloom
from Moody looked good returning, got too far back and also got held up a little but found the line well. No 5 Agrippa is first up and has two trails under the belt, sure to be forward and will be right in this. No 6 Flash Gift I have watched about 8 of his runs and not a bad horse, first up didn’t jump well and never got going but not a bad run, will be better here. No 8 Testa My Patience (nom Sat 12th) returns from a spell and I think will be forward. Any scratchings throw in No 15 Wearethestorm the emergency.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs Chairman’s Stakes (Listed) – 02.10pm

No 9 Hollyweird $3.60
is a Sydney horse that I think can win on debut in Melbourne. She is a nice horse and looks smart. No 1 Dinner Date $10 is back after 12 weeks and should be much better for her first two race runs, she should want this distance and more on breeding. First starters No 5 Atomic $3.00 is too short for me, she has been backed in from $4.20 so she must be forward. I think he will find this a little short. Sure to be working home well on breeding. No 6 Cape Canaveral $7.00 also nicely bred and should be on the pace. Is nominated for the $1 million Patinack Blue Diamond Stakes.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs Manfred Stakes – 02.45pm

No 1 Star Witness $1.90
she should win this, as simple as that. She is a class above these and even at 90% will beat these. No 4 Dusty Star $4.40 will lead and keep the pace on and make them run him down. No 5 Bullbars $13 will go well fresh I think, this is his 3rd preparation and last time first up went well. No 8 Sayahailmary $9 is first up and light but will find this a little quick and she likes to lead so could over-race.

Race 7 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 03.20pm

No 5 Cabeza $2.10 (special)
has come back this preparation on fire. Last two starts for two wins have been impressive. The race record at Moonee Valley and then streeted away from them at Flemington. No 6 Zauberin $18 come back from being freshened with a good win, drops weight and goes up in distance which are all pluses for me. No 9 Vesper $8 is very light here and sure to be getting home well. No 7 King Diamond $5, Kavanagh has this horses running well. A good win last start and drops weight and again sure to be running home hard.

Race 8 – 1500mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.00pm

This is a very open race and I am interested in No 15 Stole $11 (nom Fri 11th Sat 12th), had only the one start for one win in Australia, has been scratched two times since then and Oliver is staying on board. Looked nice winning at Cranbourne. No 2 Paddy O’Reilly $17 has a trial win under his belt and a few weeks to train on since then. Smerdon and Boss a good combination. No 4 Disco Dan $11 is another Smerdon runner and last start is better than it looks on paper. Was hitting the line hard after having no luck earlier on in the race. No 3 Mega Excel is third run back this spell, ran on the pace a long way last start before weakening and will be fitter.

Race 9 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.40pm

Another very open race with $6 the field. No 15 Means a Lot $9.50 returned with a good win after starting badly first up, then went to Sandown and ran a good second, was slow away again before joining the lead then edged out late. A good run and is light with the 3kg claim. No 2 El Primero $19 first up over-raced before a good win at Sale where again did a little wrong laying out in the straight. No 9 Quadrant $13 is a Lohnro gelding coming back from a spell, didn’t look too bad first preparation and should be matured. No 6 Speediness $9 has a bad barrier but this horse is nominated for the Australian Guineas so they expect him to be decent. First up run not so bad. No 8 Mukarrar $21 watch markets and keep safe if any moves.

Race 10 – 1400mtrs Fillies and Mares 0 – 72 Hndicap – 05.20pm

No 16 Lights Of Heaven
(nom Sat 12th) has drawn barrier 20 and will probably scratch to run Saturday in the 180K Autumn Stakes, Moody unleashed her at Cranbourne where she cantered in for a 7 length win. No 2 Moxilady (nom Fri 11th) was good first up, couldn’t get a clear run at the turn and in the straight last start so give a chance. No 8 Helena Girl all three runs has been up on the pace and around the mark, I am sure Hawkes will have her raring to go. No 3 Mayenda Strategy has a 3kg claim and needed the first up run and will be fitter here for sure. Any scratchings throw in No 4 Mousseline (nom Sat 12th).
