Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Saturday 30th April 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A dead 4 with a chance of showers tomorrow. Some nice horses getting about so lets see if I can point you in the right direction.

Race 1 - 1200mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Handicap – 12.10pm

I am going for the class runner here. No 2 Avionics $2.30 comes way back in class here is racing well and last start a big run. No 1 Ariarni $4.60 another dropping back in class and the 3kg claim a big help. No 3 Tio Rossa $5.50 goes well first up so respect.

Race 2 – 2000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 12.45pm

This will be a close race, these four horses all have a good chance. No 3 Shylock’s Daughter $3.80 steps out to the 2000mtrs a distance that really suits her. No 4 You I Find $3.40 you must respect on last two runs, the 3kg claim makes her light. No 2 Influential Miss $4.80 another that should appreciate the extra distance. No 5 Invincible You $3.40 for multiples.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.20pm

No 2 Curtana $3.10 (I backed early markets)
is favourite and hard to go past. First up and the 2kg claim all bonuses for me. No 3 Moshe $3.50 better known as Black Caviar’s younger brother this is his biggest test since his only failure in the Listed Fireball. No 1 General Truce $6.50 has been in group races and not disgraced. No 4 Breitling $4.80 for multiples.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs 2yo Blue Sapphire Stakes (Listed set weights) – 01.55pm

No 2 Spatha $3.50
looked really good winning last start in Adelaide. He really went on from his Moonee Valley run. No 9 City Of Song $3.40 could have won all three starts to date, has been unlucky and looks a nice horse. No 1 Highly Recommended $3.60 from the powerful Moody camp with one start for one win, watch markets. Watch the markets No 7 Haut Normandie $12 as Snowden is taking straight to town.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap - 02.35pm

A very open race on offer and nice odds to be found. No 9 Volando $5.50 has returned looking like a different horse. First up did things wrong and then a big run last start coming from well back. No 3 Koala Bear $9.50 is a talented horse and if she doesn’t play up and runs a clean race a threat. No 6 Evie Rose $7.50 with the claim sure to run a forward race. No 1 Annlea $5.50 for multiples.

Race 6 – 1800mtrs 3yo Handicap – 03.15pm

No 3 Vivid Vixen $2.10 (special)
is the big stand out for me here. Is racing very well and this a weak race really. No 8 Port Vell $7.50 likes to settle on the pace and will set this up for Vivid Vixen. No 4 Pacino $10 (nom Tue) if starts chance at multiples. No 2 Hawks Bay $8 will get better as steps up in distance.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs Handicap – 03.55pm

A hard race and very open. No 2 Galbraith $4.40 has had a trial since his last start win so sure to be ready for this. No 5 Johnny Fiasco $8.50 will push forward from this wide barrier I think and is a good horse. No 1 Royal Ida $8.50 (nom Wed) goes well fresh so watch for support. No 10 Glasovit for multiples.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.34pm

No 3 Sense of Son $4.50
is racing very well last start did too much work early. No 10 Too Deadly $3.30 is having no luck with barrier draws, respect another racing well. No 1 Amaethon $6.50 became upset in the barriers last start, backed out but fit to run, give a chance. No 2 At The Heads $7 for multiples.

Geelong Synthetic Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

To be truthful this is a very average day of racing with many weak races. Be smart and keep your bets small and save your money for Saturday.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.40pm

This is a very average race indeed. These are glue pots on legs. The one the stands out a little is No 5 Spirit of Pompeii who has a chance to break his duck after 16 starts.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.15pm

No 5 Lightenuff
will be better of the synthetic. No 2 Calculator just faded too late last start, better here and fitter for sure. No 3 Handsome Hero returns from his first spell, has a trial under the belt. No 8 Cinnamona is better than last start.

Race 3 – 2000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.50pm

No 4 Cottonwood (nom Wed, Thur)
if starts respect, a good stable and well bred and blinkers first time here. No 3 The Zero (nom Thur) stepped up well in distance this preparation. No 9 Diety Dane for multiples.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) Handicap – 02.20pm

No 5 Eager Miss
needed that first up run and sure to be better here. No 9 Sugar Lips a good first up run from the spell and should have trained on. No 1 Belcanny very green on debut and give a chance. No 11 Insurpassable another that is learning but give a chance.

Race 5 – 1100mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap - 03.00pm

Another weak race and the best I can see is No 5 Glenariff who is racing well. No 6 Glowing Edge (nom Sat, Tues) racing well and the claim helps a lot. No 2 The Majority for multiples.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.37pm

No 7 De Lady Royale (nom Wed)
if starts will be hard to beat, ran some good races last preparation. No 8 Fine Feelings watch markets and any moves get on board. No 2 Blooded the big class drop will help here. No 4 Dimi The Dancer (nom Wed) for multiples.

Race 7 – 2000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.17pm

No 9 Mauritius
have to respect as a consistent horse. No 10 Wantonly a good win at the track and distance last start. No 2 Gaudalcanal will be better on top of the track. No 1 Whitebait for multiples.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.57pm

This is the best race of the day for me. No 2 Statler two good runs to date. No 10 Parma (nom Tue, Thur) if starts a chance on last start where worked home very well for good win. No 4 Bel Rhythm (nom Wed, Thur) is better than lat start. No 9 Ohmygod will be better for her first up run. Any scratchings put in No 3 Sundown Clown.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.10pm

Race 3 – 1500mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.45pm

No 4 Beaux Strata
will be fit here and last start not a bad run as over-raced in that race and checked early in the running. No 9 Must Have drops back in distance and I think will suit better. No 5 ClaretNblue (nom Sat) first start in Australia good, found line well and will be better for the run. No 10 Epingle (nom Sat, Sun) will be better suited on the better track.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.20pm

No 7 Dashing Miss (nom Sat)
a nice win at Geelong on the synthetic last start. No 6 Classic Mistress last start win at Ararat very good, had things go wrong and also did a little wrong in the run, good win. Race 7 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 5 Whitbread Lass (nom Sat, Sun) (special)
if starts here will be hard to beat. She does go up in weight with the big class drop but is a very good horse around this distance. No 6 Caprock last three runs have been good, last start worked home well late and was just too far back. No 10 Reflect looked a little green last start, maybe underdone and should be better here. No 1 Road To Roam for multiples.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.50pm

No 2 Stately Dash (special)
he is an old fella and drops way back in class but up in weight, is very good around this distance and been up against much better horses than these. No 3 Song For Guy will get back but usually works home well and a chance as the pace might not be too hot here. No 6 Dark Valley (nom Sat) is a young horse that is still learning, give a chance. Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A slow 7 with fine weather forecast so maybe a track upgrade through the day.

Race 1 - 1200mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.00pm

No 2 Éclair Flyer
returned from his let up in good form, is light with the 2kg claim. No 3 That’s Not It drops back to 1200mtrs and will be around the finish. No 1 Éclair Mystic has been freshened, is carrying big weight but the claim will help. Is the class horse by far in this race. No 11 Set And Forget returning from the spell, good stable and top jockey.

Race 2 – 1410mtrs 2yo Anzac Day Stakes (Listed) – 01.35pm

No 2 Cash Bound $3.90 finds the line very well, last start over this distance raced wide and no cover, held up on the turn but then found line well. No 1 Burnout $2.80 will be the one to beat on last run. He won well after doing a few things wrong. No 10 Torah $4.50 from the Moody camp, not a bad debut as did work home well too late. No 3 Caravaggio $7.50 for multiples.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.10pm

No 4 Bellantina $6 (Eachway Special) although racing in easier class is looking very good, last start saddle shifted early on and was an excellent run. No 2 Act Of Faith $13 is over the odds for me. I have heard she looks good and running good sectionals. No 13 She Likes To Rock $4.80 has hardly put a foot wrong this preparation. No 7 Limerock $4.40 returns from the spell, watch markets and any moves follow.

Race 4 – 2600mtrs 4yo & up William Newton VC Handicap – 02.45pm

No 3 Tanby $2.40 (Special)
I do worry with Hall on board as he has duded me many times with rides that I personally didn’t like but this horse is smart and a few good yards better than the others for me. No 6 Gallant Lady $9.50 ran a good race against Tanby last start leading a long way, Williams back on board a big bonus. No 5 Prussian Officer $5 has been in work a long time but racing very well. No 12 Jac’s Pride $26 although been racing well in much easier company could had very good value to multiples.

Race 5 – 2000mtrs RSL Plate 0 – 89 Handicap - 03.20pm

This is a hard race. Watch markets and follow the smart money. No 15 Elusive King has a trial under the belt since last start, is light and sure to run this right out. No 2 I’m Imposing last start much better than it looks on paper, respect. No 10 Generous Beau across from Adelaide where form is good. No 4 Akzar give a chance, looks a nice horse.

Race 6 – 2800mtrs 3yo VRC St Leger (Listed set weights) – 03.56pm

Another hard race. No 2 Precious Lorraine $5 looked very good over the 2400mtrs last start. No 1 Almodovar $4.20 another that won well last start first time past 2000mtrs, respect. No 11 Giggleswick $10 give a chance as a nice looking horse. No 3 Right Of Refusal $4.40 a good run against the top weight last start.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs Handicap – 04.34pm

No 4 Dubleanny $2.30 (special)
I have only heard good things about her this week. No 2 True Persuasion $4.20 is a very good horse, sure to run an honest race as always. No 5 Returntosender $7.50 has been freshened and is a nice horse. No 1 Royal Ida $15 for multiples.

Race 8 – 1620mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 05.10pm

No 12 Miss Bindi $2.80
since coming across from NZ has impressed. Should run this out and will be hard to beat on current form. No 6 Sleeque $6.50 in good form and the claim helps here. No 1 Jurisdiction $26 is at very juicy odds, hasn’t won since May 2010 but could add value here to multiples. No 2 Starkron $31 another that could turn back the clock and add value.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A slow 6 with showers forecast, keep an eye for any bias and hope we pick up a few winners today. A very hard quadrella today but will pay well.

Race 1 - 1100mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 12.10pm

You have to watch markets here, there are some nicely bred first starters and the money will be the best guide. No 9 Szewinska $8.50 won her trial well, looks a nice horse in the making and Moody would not start her in town if she wasn’t a chance. No 1 Euphorbia $5.50 another good trial winner. No 4 Manhattan Maid $7.50 made a decent debut. No 3 Light Touch $3.20 won her trial well and will be better for her first preparation.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 12.45pm

Another nice race here with some nice horses in the making. No 6 La Praline $2.50 (special) should have won last start and Meech has a chance to redeem herself here. No 8 Roulettes $12 first run in Victoria was good and will be better schooled. No 1 Psychologist $6 will run her heart out. No 4 Flourishing $13 (nom Mon) nice start last start worked home well. Any scratchings No 3 Jesse’s Girl $19.

Race 3 – 1100mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 01.23pm

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.58pm

No 2 Turnitup $3.30
is hard to go past, forget last run as if you watch it you will see had a bad run. Form is very good and sure to be hard to beat. No 1 Mushatta $4.20 had to work too hard early last start and took its toll late, a good horse and respect. No 9 Compound $9 (nom Fri) young well bred horse that won well returning from the spell. No 7 External $9 another well bred and should appreciate the extra distance. Any scratchings No 3 Yorkshire Lad $10.

Race 5 – 1100mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap - 02.35pm

No 1 Broken $6.50
the top-weight has a shot here I think. Handles the wet and is very honest. No 14 Uxorious $6 first up, goes well fresh and on the wet. No 3 Beyond Pardon $6 (nom Mon) if starts respect. No 13 Shadowfax $4.40 goes well fresh watch markets. Any scratchings No 2 Anteros $26 could add good value to multiples.

Race 6 – 2000mtrs Easter Cup (Group 3) – 03.15pm

This is a very hard race. There are many genuine chances here. No 11 Kutchinsky $7.50 returns to Melbourne and a good run in the Queen’s Cup. No 4 Launay $8.50 not a bad effort first time past 1600mtrs last start, give a chance. No 2 Spacecraft $8 a gutsy run last start, led and did all the work and only run down late. No 3 Fanjura $8.50 if he gets a clear run will be coming home well.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs Victoria Handicap (Group 3) – 03.55pm

No 5 Carrara $5
has looked very good this preparation. Looking a little like he was back in 2009 when he came on the scene. No 3 Zedi Knight $7 has hardly put a foot wrong this whole preparation, have to respect again. No 6 Set For Fame $4.80 returns from her Sydney mission and forget that run. Is good at the distance and track. No 12 Budriguez $5.50 Adelaide form very good so respect.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Handicap – 04.35pm

No 8 Sublimity $10
stepping out to 1400mtrs will suit for me and a nice chance at good odds. No 12 Flokkati $13 first time over this distance and if gets a nice cart in the race could surprise here. No 14 Mayneda Strategy $5 is light and sure to give it a shake. No 2 Return To Sender $5.50 (nom Mon) I don’t think will start as barrier 17, if he does respect as a nice horse. Race 2 – 1300mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.30pm

No 10 Saint Angers (nom Thur, Sun)
was disappointing returning from the spell, is well bred and have to give one more chance if starts. No 6 Need To Exceed not a bad run last start as was wide most of the trip. No 3 Higuain first start and nicely bred so watch markets.

Race 3 – 1300mtrs 4yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.00pm

No 8 Rock To Riches
I will give another chance on the better track, has shown he can run a decent race. No 11 Torgannah (nom Thur) even though 6 lengths away last start not a bad run, did a bit wrong and was wide all the way. No 14 Philippa Miss from this barrier will race up on the speed and sure to make it an honest race.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 02.30pm

No 4 Arinosa (nom Thur)
if starts respect, was scratched on the 13th and 14th. No 7 Miss Rubinstein (nom Tues) is another back from a spell, has two good trials under the belt so respect.

a decent run on debut as did a bit wrong and will be much better for it. Cranbourne Horse Racing Tips Sunday 17th April 2011 Victoria Australia

Cranbourne Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A slow 7 but with fine weather forecast so an upgrade possible. We had 4 winners on top yesterday at Flemington and the quadrella paid $1,200 for an $80 investment. Hope to continue that form today.

Race 1 – 2060mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.45pm

No 11 My Sydney Rose
on breeding and ability has every chance to break her duck if she doesn’t play up. I would love to see her run a race where she has no problems as I have seen talent in her. No 2 Dunked (nom Thur) looked better over more distance last start, goes up to the 2000mtrs here and interesting to see how he handles this. No 5 Quintin is good around the distance, last start a good run after being wide all the way. No 6 Rock N Roll King for multiples.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.20pm

No 6 Tiger Stripe (nom Mon)
was put away after his good debut run, return here and sure to be better schooled. No 4 Slinger was decent on debut, will be better for the run as was a little green. No 10 Mop only run led and was overrun early in the straight, has been in the paddock for 209 days and sure to be better here. No 11 Wallanjoe not a bad trial, looked well held but nice action.

Race 3 – 1300mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.54pm

No 9 Epingle (nom Thur)
looks a nice horse and debut run very good and look forward to over more distance. No 4 Glacier King not a bad horse, and going alright. No 8 Crowns Mistress last two starts have been good. No 5 Terms (nom Thur) should be better than he’s done to date. I like Cassar on board.

Race 4 – 1500mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.30pm

No 3 Platamone Castle
first run in Victoria since coming across from Sydney was not too bad, worked home well. No 13 Slippery Satin (nom Mon, Thur) is the stable mate of my first pick, decent race last start. No 4 Baden (nom Thur) keep an eye on markets, should be better than first up run. No 5 Devon (nom Thur) watch markets first up.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap - 03.08pm

No 8 Charming Sophie (special)
will be a few yards in front of these, not a strong race and she looked very good her last two starts. No 1 Stax On Max a good win last start in easier class. No 2 Devilenko has been on the pace but not running the distance out. No 6 Cheilani for multiples.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.44pm

No 7 Go For Home (nom Mon)
has had a change of trainers, gets blinkers first time and is well bred. If you watch his races he has a nice action and would not surprise me to see him click here. No 3 Aussie Public has a terrible barrier but scratchings will bring him in a bit, only three runs in Victoria since coming from NZ. Looks an okay horse. No 1 Grand Ransom a fighter and a pretty good horse.

Race 7 – 1500mtrs Fillies & Mares Class 1 Handicap – 04.24pm

No 4 Reflect (special)
if you watch all her runs this preparation she is racing well without luck. I think she is a few lengths better than the others in this race. No 3 Christmas (nom Tue) two good runs since coming across from Sydney for a 2nd and last start win. No 2 Blossom Baby good win at the track last start. No 1 Park View watch markets as having first Australian start here.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.04pm

No 5 Retaliate
just forget last start, is much better than that and I guarantee a better horse here. No 3 Dubai Opera returns from his spell. Won his trial and first preparation didn’t look too bad. No 7 Halo Miss Maher (nom Thur) still learning and give a chance for multiples as well as No 1 Viva La Vida.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A slow 6 with showers forecast, keep an eye for any bias and hope we pick up a few winners today.

Race 1 - 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.05pm

This is an interesting and open race with some nicely bred first starters going around. Watch the markets closely. I like No 4 Highly Recommended $4.40, No 6 Whitlam $4, No 1 Chamandi $13 and No 7 Sammartini $8.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Handicap – 12.45pm

No 4 Gail $2.90 (Special)
back to her own class and will be hard to beat. No 11 Dizlago $19 (nom Wed) I think overs here and could add good value to multiples. No 5 Sleeque $9 was scratched Wednesday to run here and respect. No 10 Ky’s The Limit $6 stepping up in distance a bonus here. Scratchings throw in No 9 Hi Belle $7.

Race 3 – 1100mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.23pm

No 1 Stirling Grove $3.20
is a smart sprinter and the 2kg claim a big help. No 5 Tariana $6 has two starts for two wins and returned with a nice win at Caulfield from the spell. No 3 Éclair Flyer $3.80 looks very good since returning from a freshen up. No 8 Multahem $18 could add some very good value to multiples.

Race 4 – 2000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 01.58pm

This is an open race indeed. No 7 Little Tycoon $7 (nom Wed) I look forward to seeing over the 2000mtrs for the first time. No 3 Bronislava $10 is racing well and the 2kg claim will help. No 10 Epic Journey $7 (nom Wed) first start over this distance and will give a chance to run it out. No 4 You I Find $11 is good around this distance. Any scratchings throw in No 5 Owner’s Priority $9.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap - 02.35pm

A very open race and hard way to start the quadrella. No 7 Sense Of Son $7 has found his straps this preparation, has stepped up in grade and raced well and give a chance for 5 wins in a row. No 10 Tollemache $21 I thought first Victorian starts was not so bad. No 1 Amaethon $4.20 very good run last start, up in distance and the 2kg claim all good signs. No 2 At The Heads $4.40 steps back out to 1400mtrs after a very good run last start. Any scratchings and even though a terrible barrier No 4 Niblick $8.

Race 6 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 03.15pm

No 9 Akzar $4
two runs in Australia and last start a good front running win. No 3 Fanjura $4.40 third run back this preparation and last start a good run. No 13 Ma Shang $10 has hardly put a foot wrong this preparation and light again with the claim. No 6 Niwot $10 is better than his last start, Sydney form is good. Any scratchings No 1 Banana Man $31.

Race 7 – Open Handicap – 03.55pm

This will be a 2 horse race for me. No 5 Flat Chat $1.95 (I backed at much better odds of $2.60) is hard to go past in current form. No 3 Testa My Patience $3.30 is going for 5 wins in a row and racinf very well. For multiples No 7 Oronero $11 and No 6 Gold in Dubai $16. Watch markets on No 1 Tactics $26.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 04.55pm

And a super hard race to finish the day and quadrella. No 14 Fashion $7.50 a very good win at Ballarat last start. Only two runs in Victoria and both have been decent. No 6 Neriana $7 (nom Wed) is up in weight on last start win but give a chance as looked good. No 5 Rockabee Miss $13 I look forward to seeing her back of this distance. No 10 What A Beauty $6.50 last start a good run and up in distance looks good.

Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Thursday 14th April 2011 Victoria Australia

Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A slow 7 with rain forecast. See if we can pick a few mudlarks for the day.

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.55pm

This is a nice little race with some nice horses going around. No 1 Irish Gold (nom Sat) returned from his spell with a solid run at this track. Breeding should handle the wet and the extra distance. No 5 Browneyedhawk (nom Fri, Sat, Mon, Tues) ran in the same race as my first choice, did find the line well late. No 7 Reena first up run very good, good stable and jockey. No 4 Tizona first start in Victoria, was in the Snowden camp and form in NSW not too bad, watch markets. Even No 3 Lock Stock has a chance going on his first up run, jumped awkwardly, raced wide all the way and hung out as well.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.30pm

No 3 Ngorano
has one start and finished second to Neriana who has gone on to win well at Caulfield and a good 2nd at MV. Back after 77 days and sure to be better schooled. No 4 On The Cards last two starts has been unlucky. I would like to see them put a different jockey on top, nothing against the apprentice as he is decent but a good jockey if worth so much. Watch markets on No 2 Electronic Dancer watch markets, was a $410,000 purchase.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 2yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.05pm

This isn’t a strong race. No 4 Appreciate (nom Mon) and No 9 Lunacy form is okay. No 8 Lucrezia give a chance as well as No 7 Looks Who’s Dancing.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.40pm

No 10 Zenawomann is so close to a win. No 5 Kipsiro last start not such a bad run if you seen the race, jumped sideways and jockey nearly came off, pulled up lame and has been passed by the vets since then, give a chance. No 3 Central (nom Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues) back from the spell and watch markets. No 8 Oneman Wolfpack good run back from the spell, wide all the way. Any scratchings throw in No 7 Marked Danger.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap - 03.15pm

No 5 Black Artois (special)
first up, this distance and wet all bonuses. No 2 Toronto Star also first up and distance is good, if track is heavy not sure but watch markets. No 8 Blink I don’t think will start on this ground but if does keep an eye on markets. No 9 Floren definitely a chance.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 03.50pm

No 11 Roll (nom Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues)
if starts have to respect. No 7 Hamel (nom Tues) give a chance. No 2 Reel’Emin (nom Sat) a good win last start. No 3 Za Bullet for the multiples. Any scratchings throw on No 4 Capturethedream.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 2 External (special) (nom Sat, Sun, Mon)
if starts and going on first start win hard to beat. No 6 Lopov (nom Tues) a good win back from the spell. No 7 Redinsky two nice runs back from the spell and should run this out. Any scratchings throw in No 4 Kong Kristian.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.10pm

No 2 Esprit Son, No 4 Blacko, No 7 Beasty Boy, No 8 Resolvere
and any scratchings No 16 Vain Sonata.

Echuca Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 12th April 2011 Victoria Australia

Echuca Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

We are bush racing out at the lovely Echuca, the track is a heavy 9 with shower forecast. Lets see if we can pick a few winners that like the wet.

Race 1 – 1203mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

A tricky race to start of course. Of the raced lot No 3 Diamond Bill (nom Fri) returned with a good run from the spell. Was never on the track in the run but started to find the line hard late. No 4 Rezonated even though is 16 starts without a win, goes alright and looks okay on the wet. No 14 Lokelani trial form is terrible but in breeding for the wet is good. Also No 11 Pincent should handle the wet.

Race 2 – 1605mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.30pm

I put a watch on No 3 Fawkner (nom Thur, Sat) as the breeding is very good. Sired by Reset (he is out of Zabeel) and the dam Dane Belltar I really look forward to seeing him race. I hope he has ½ the talent as his breeding suggests. No 8 Lucrezia (nom Thur) just forget her first up run. Another Zabeel filly owned by Gerry Harvey and in the O’Brien stable. No 4 Just Hustled gets blinkers here and will be a help for sure. No 2 United Hawk for the multiples.

Race 3 – 2108mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.00pm

There are a few glue pots on legs getting about here. I think that No 4 Mystic Tere Toa on breeding will run this out well and No 5 Shamrock O’Haka stepped out to the 2000mtrs last start and went well are the standouts. For the multiples No 8 Sly Ruby and No 7 Big Johnnies Gem a horse with 30 starts and no win but place chance.

Race 4 – 1404mtrs 3yo Fillies Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.3opm

This isn’t a strong race. First starter No 11 New Light has drawn barrier 18 but will come in with scratchings and I expect a few. Really well bred out of Galileo and Marooned Lady and she wasn’t a bad Perth horse. First starter No 8 Iron Rose has a trial under her belt, nothing special but again it is breeding I am looking to. Harvey owns and out of Zabeel and the dam Make Me Strong had 22 race starts for a win and a 2nd, but she ran some really good races in Listed and Group company. Of the raced lot No 1 Belaura returned from her spell with a big run, at the start was very badly hampered by another runner and if you watch the video she knuckled down well from the turn.

Race 5 – 1404mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap - 03.00pm

No 8 Muktashef
is well bred, a $650K purchase and did look much better returning from his spell. Did a lot of work and headed about 150mtrs out, fought hard. Has been freshened and sure to be fit here. No 9 Rankin (nom Thur, Sat) is from the Hickmott and Williams combination. This stable frustrates me as they do have many well bred horses but don’t deliver enough. Rankin on debut jumped slowly and then got held up on the turn and into the straight, when clear from about the 150mtr mark made ground. No 11 Loveisadelight forget last start, got tightened at the start, bumped and pushed about early, couldn’t get a clear run in the straight and tightened and bumped again. No 1 Cerreto King is across from NSW and form there looks good in easier class.

Race 6 – 1605mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.30pm

I am running out of time so here are my numbers, No 9 Tequila High, No 5 The Ruckman, No 2 Egyptian Lova and No 1 Regular Aussie.

Race 7 – 1605mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 11 Scattered Dreams, No 4 Riddick (nom Thur, Sat), No 6 Za Bullet (nom Thur), No 1 Hennessey Rhythm.

Race 8 – 1203mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 1 Lotsa Grunt, No 2 Roar Speed, No 10 Solar Strike
.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Saturday 9th April 2011 Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.45pm

No 2 Caravaggio $7
is a good outside bet here for me. A nice win on debut in an easy race at Sale, won well and I think can match these going around here. No 9 Chi Chi $4.60 a decent run back from the spell and on breeding this distance and further should want. No 5 General Offer $2.70 is the favourite but a little short for me. It was a good run last start in harder class but does go up in weight. Blinkers first time could make a big difference and a few extra yards. No 7 Burnout $6.50 returning from the spell, give a chance for multiples.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Handicap – 12.50pm

No 1 Status Symbol $10
is another good outside bet for me here. The weight drop and claim help and last start a good run as posted wide and worked hard, didn’t finish too far off the favourite here. No 6 Mythical Spirit $4.40 last 3 starts over this distance very good, respect. No 5 Cat’s Pyjamas $3.90 the favourite a good win returning from the spell in good time and even though rider dropped the rein 100mtrs out or so. No 3 Sublimity $6 for multiples.

Race 3 – 2406mtrs Handicap – 01.28pm

No 1 Above Average $2.15 I cannot go past. His run two starts back carrying 60.5kgs in the Stony Creek Cup was good finding the line well, then onto the listed Manion Cup at Rosehill just going down. A very honest horse. No 3 Upon $3.20 has found his feet this preparation and is very light at the weights. No 2 Saddler’s Story $8.50 is a good overs bet for me, he is a good horse and his run in the Adelaide Cup was good as he did things wrong and the start before at Flemington didn’t like the firm ground but still ran a good race. No 7 Prussian Officer $7.50 racing well and keep safe in multiples.

Race 4 – 1440mtrs 3yo Handicap – 02.03pm

This is a nice little race with some up and coming horse going around. No 6 Turnitup $4.60 since the change of stable and state has really looked good. Came down from Queensland and Moody has here clicking over beautifully. First up at the Valley was an eye catcher and then the win at Caulfield impressive finding the line well late. No 7 Tahitian Black $7.50 two wins in a row, in easier class but last start hit line well. Drops weight with the class rise. No 1 Bigelow $8 does have a hard task with the weight but is a smart horse. No 4 Tokugawa $4.80 must respect, did a few things run back from the spell and found the line well. He is a nice horse.

Race 5 – 2406mtrs Handicap (listed race) – 03.20pm

No 4 Almodovar $5.50
a big run in open company last start. Is still learning and again drawn wide but respect on last run. No 1 Cuban Sunday $5 dead heated with Almodovar last start, did run about in the straight and had to be straightened a few times. No 10 Paramour $13 was doing best work late last start, give a chance. No 3 Right of Refusal $5 good win last start in easier class. No 2 Elusive King $4 keep safe in multiples.

Race 6 – 1440mtrs Shadwell Stud Stakes (Listed Race) – 04.00pm

I am willing to risk the current favourite No 11 Dubleanny $4. Sure she is the one to beat even though wide as she has been running in group races and running well. No 12 Red Flair $13 has speed and inside of the other runners I like. She will push up near the lead and keep the others wider, she is not a bad horse. No 2 Orbit Express $15, No 3 Zedi Knight $11 both drawn wide but good horses. No 4 Lady Lynette $4.80 racing well and respect.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs Handicap – 04.40pm

No 7 Beyond Pardon $3 (special)
you have to respect as is good first up but his two trial wins on the 7th and 21st of March were good. Miss Inform that finished 2nd too him in the first trial has won at Ballarat in good time but the 21st trial win was wow! Smashed them in good time and looked nice doing it. No 1 Stanzout $8.50 is overs for me, last start raced ungenerously pulling hard, he is a smart horse ad with the claim respect. No 3 Galbraith $5.50 just held on first up to win, will be better and fitter here sure. No 11 Basil Da Man $4.80 across from Adelaide and 3 wins from as many starts, watch markets but this is harder.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs Handicap – 05.20pm

I have to go with the class of No 1 Launay $2.70, he is a classy horse and sure to be in this right to the end. No 14 I’m Imposing $4.80 from Hickmott was doing best work late last start, watch markets for support as if ready the money will come. No 5 Avienus $11 a better barrier, drops weight up in distance all bonuses to me on last run. No 10 Eraset $9.50 I like what I have seen of him this preparation. No 12 Vivid Vixen $8 for multiples.

Geelong Synthetic Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1100mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.50pm

Of the raced lot watch markets on No 8 Crackalackin a decent first up run from the spell and will be better suited on a better track I think. No 1 Hellion has been around the mark most starts and first up from spell an okay run, 2kg claim a help. First starters No 4 Whiskey Hunter on breeding could sprint well fresh. No 2 Strategic Spell is coming back from a long spell. This horse has had no luck three runs to date, first two starts did things wrong and then third start bled. A good stable and any moves respect.

Race 2 – 2200mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.25pm

No 11 Xaar Best
returned from a long 650 day spell, has two very good runs and foot is on the till. No 10 Happy Now is going alright, Froggy Newitt on board a good choice for me. No 12 Imogen Miss led for a long time last start, run over about the 150mtr mark but fought hard to the line. No 4 Achilles Heel was $100K purchase for the Hawkes boys and has been disappointing but well bred and could turn things around.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.00pm

A tricky race here, No 3 Dashing Miss not a bad first up run, weakened and maybe a little underdone on the day, give a chance for sure. No 13 Lagello (nom Sun) first up from the spell posted wide and no cover, weakened in the straight so give a chance. No 5 Little Miss Moolah watch markets as breeding is okay. No 12 Vietnam Lass watch markets as Smerdon a handy trainer, a good horseman.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.35pm

An interesting race here for me. No 5 Saneyev was a $200K purchase, first two race runs were good, I really likes the Ballarat run. Then went into the Listed Westfield Stakes, wasn’t disgraced and this a lot easier. A clocker told me he is running good sectionals, so watch markets for support. No 3 At The Till back from a long spell, watch markets. No 7 Teak (nom Tues, Wed, Thur) from the Hickmott and Williams team, if starts respect and watch markets. No 4 Cheville is another back from a long spell, bred well and good stable so watch for support.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap - 03.10pm

This is a hard race, nothing really stands out for me. No 4 West of Greta a big run last start, took the lead around midrace, was a good click and then kicked a few lengths clear before being challenged but fought hard right to the line. No 1 Ribati is first up from the spell, goes well fresh but the 59kgs a big task. No 3 Desert Flare is better than first up run, give a chance.

Race 6 – 2200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.47pm

No 3 The Catarena
forget last start, is much better than that. He will be using this for fitness with the Warrnambool carnival coming up but a good horse over the flat and this isn’t so strong. No 7 Mauritius has hardly put a foot wrong in easier class of late, respect. No 5 Royal Dalton (nom Wed) last two starts over the 2000mtr mark have been good. Good trainer so watch markets. No 4 Hachiman rises in class but the weight drop and claim a big bonus. Racing well around the distance.

Race 7 – 1100mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 04.27pm

An average race to say the least. No 5 Glowing Edge finds the line well, just gets too far back in her runs. Sure to charge home and this is not a strong race. No 2 Sundown Clown (nom Tues) forget first up run, than last start laid in down the straight, give a chance.

Race 8 – 1300mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 05.07pm

This is a hard race to finish. If No 11 Agent (nom Tues, Wed, Thur) starts sure to be the one to beat after his strong race win debut. No 12 Bedouin Express going on last start with the weight drop should be around the mark. No 6 Affluence returns from Sydney and is better than his first two runs, give a chance and watch markets. No 8 Nosealot (nom Tues) has drawn wide but if starts respect. Watch markets on No 9 Pitt Street.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Thursday 7th April 2011 Victoria Australia

Sale Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.55pm

No 9 The Counterfeiter (special) (nom Sun
) if starts should break his duck here. Won his trial back on the 21st and has been in some harder races first preparation. No 2 Secret Stealth give a chance as first up last start not much luck, ran some good races first preparation. No 3 Bustaringer (nom Sun, Mon) if starts a chance for multiples.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 2yo Handicap – 01.30pm

No 4 Pump It
looks like this distance and further will suit after working home well last start. No 8 Seat One Aye also from Freedman does not have a jockey nominated yet, if starts also a horse on breeding that will like the extra metres. No 7 Chieftain Jack (nom Sun) was disappointing on debut but give a chance. No 5 Raffles Pegasus has been racing well.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.05pm

This is a hard race as most the raced lot look very average. No 1 Lincoln Green has two decent runs under the belt. First starters have to watch markets for money moves. No 7 Super Casa (nom Sun) is unseen. No 8 Yamavite and No 13 Altruism (nom Sun) both from the Moody camp have trialed but were average. And the Hickmott runner No 2 External is nominated for 10 races in the next 5 days.

Race 4 – 1700mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.40pm

No 6 Integration (nom Sat, Sun, Tues)
I am glad I didn’t back him first up as Nicholas Hall disappointed me with his ride, actually he does this too often for me (look at yesterday’s ride on No Means Go). The horse was green indeed and was unlucky but follow wherever he starts. No 8 Rock “N” Roll King (nom Sat) looked alright stepping out to 1500mtrs last start and the better track also a plus for me. No 13 Deity Dane the further the better I think for this horse, give a chance. No 2 Backburn for the multiples.

Race 5 – 1500mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap - 03.15pm

No 1 Caribbea
sat back returning from her spell, usually she is leading or on the pace. She hit the line very well for a strong win. No 5 Youeffoh (nom Sat) returns from the spell, has trialed nothing special but respect. No 2 Heavenly Wonder (nom Sat) a nice win first up at Cranbourne, respect the stable. No 3 Sky Shower a chance for multiples.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.50pm

No 8 Sheahan (nom Sun, Tues)
a good win first race start, was a little green laying in under pressure but will be better for that run. No 6 manzanilla only once been out of the money in 7 starts. Been freshened and watch markets. No 1 Last Cash needed that first up run, will be better here for sure.

Race 7 – 1700mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 1 Karoo (nom Sun)
has been going around in harder races, drops back in class but I really like his last start, a big run. No 3 Cooper James (nom Sun) last two runs very good, last start a little unlucky and the extra metres will suit here. No 4 Stratocracy last start was good, big class drop but up in weight.

Race 8 – 2200mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.10pm

No 1 Star Delight (nom Sat)
is going alright in harder class races. No 5 Jac’s Pride (nom Sun) has two runs under the belt and both improving, a chance for sure. No 4 Count Lotus (nom Sat, Sun) a good win last start, might back up here a week later. No 8 Charli’s Phantom (nom Sun) I don’t know if will start backing up after 5 days, if starts watch markets.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 6th April 2011 Victoria Australia

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 3300mtrs Steeplechase – 12.45pm

I hardly ever bet on steeple or hurdle races. Like to watch them but don’t punt on them. Follow the money is the best I can offer.

Race 2 – 3300mtrs 3yo & up Hurdles – 01.25pm

The only thing I am interested in is the Peter Moody runner having its first jumps start, No 8 Pass Me By has officially trialed twice over the jumps and I would like to see Moody win a hurdle race and maybe go onto the Warrnambool carnival with a chance or two in the big races.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.05pm

A hard race to start with, No 9 Catgotyourtongue comes across from Sydney and on form have to respect as looks the best to me by a few yards but will she handle the wrong way of going, watch markets. No 1 God Help Her (nom Sat) if starts her have to respect, has been in harder races and ran well. Last start a good run and out to 1400mtrs also suits. No 6 Margiela blinkers first time, first up run not too bad, watch markets closely. No 3 Attributes give a chance for multiples. No 2 Evie Rose is racing very well.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies – 02.40pm

Watch markets but for me No 1 Celebrity Girl is the one to watch. She was a $500,000 purchase and is very well bred. Her dad would fly home from back in the field if you remember Starcraft as would her mum Dashing Granada. I think will be a much better horse over more distance for sure like her parents but should sprint well as a juvenile. No 3 Miss Hollyfield returns from her first spell, she ran in two listed races on slow tracks and not disgraced. On the better track and the benefit if racing watch markets and respect. No 2 Firepit, they don’t often start their horses in town unless they think they are a chance, Freedman and the Sheik. Keep a close eye on money moves.

Race 5 – 1300mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 -72 Handicap – 03.15pm

No 1 Bartonelle
a good run in harder class last start, goes up in weight but trainer confident keeping Melham on board, respect. No 2 Graphic a good first up run at Cranbourne, drops back against her own class here and sure to give her all. No 3 Misty Blue (nom Sat) just forget her first up run, she is much better than this. No 9 Laurel Canyon (nom Thur) returns from her spell, she does go well fresh. Any scratchings or go wide with your multiples, No 7 Cold Steel Rein.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs 0 - 78 Handicap – 03.52pm

No 2 Sense of Sun
has gone strength to strength, does go up in weight but last start win impressive. No 4 Itimio has been freshened for 46 days and goes well around this distance. No 9 Finishing Card (nom Sun) a good win back from the spell and will appreciate the extra distance. No 11 Deliver The Dream (nom Sat) returns from the spell and goes well fresh. Any scratchings No 1 Rocky Times.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.32pm

No 7 No Means Go
is hard to go past as is racing very well. At Bendigo was smashed in the markets was smashed in the markets from $1.75 into $1.35, then onto Moonee Valley where backed in late $2.15 into $2.05 and both times delivered well. No 4 Centexpress ran 2nd against No Means Go last start, the 3kg claim will help and will meet him 6kgs better here, a big difference. No 5 Chief of Staff and No 9 Shot of laughter for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1700mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.12pm

No 4 Epic Journey
has run two good races of late, both races did things wrong or unlucky. The claim helps and sure to be around the finish. No 7 Storm Burst (nom Sat) ran a good race last start, group 3 level led till the 200mtr mark and faded, this easier and will be fit. No 3 Dance With Her goes up in class but last start win was good and run before also solid, respect on form. No 2 Golden Tabby with the 2kg claim will run this out to the line.

Pakenham Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 5th April 2011 Victoria Australia

Pakenham Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1008mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

No 7 She Likes To Rock
should be very short but should walk this in. No 8 Tessa’s Spirit should sprint well. No 5 Miss Lilah is another that should sprint well first up. No 2 It’s Complicated for multiples.

Race 2 – 1770mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.30pm

No 5 Demigod (special)
is the best in this race by a long way looking at the form and videos. Last start did not have a lot of luck and the run before as well. No 1 Drums of War will be better for that first up run.

Race 3 – 1770mtrs 2yo Fillies & Mares 0 – 62 Handicap – 02.00pm

No 1 Jewel of Johar (nom Thur)
if starts very hard to beat on last run, has been in much harder races. No 3 Golden Ascent is racing well.

Race 4 – 1414mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.30pm

No 5 Denonate (nom Thur)
I will give a chance here as last start not suited to the slow track. No 12 Pink Ice (nom Thur) made a good debut was green and will be better for that run.

Race 5 – 1414mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 -72 Handicap – 03.00pm

No 3 Crozzle
will be back from a 73 days spell, has trialed which was okay and scratched twice since then, keep an eye on markets. No 4 Lost Chord with the claim will be a chance to improve on current form. No 2 Mrs Doyle comes the Tasman and form there is okay.

Race 6 – 1770mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 03.30pm

No 4 Jugarri
this is a weak race and gets a chance to add another win to his record. No 6 Heart Of The Devil beat home Jugarri last time they met. No 2 Gold Red (nom Thur) is much better than his last two starts.

Race 7 – 1008mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 04.00pm

No 4 Fieryflirt
is racing very well and sure to be around the finish. No 1 Coppi is better than his first up run. No 11 Millow (nom Fri) first run since coming across the Tasman so watch markets.

Race 8 – 1414mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 9 Loveisadelight
won well at Swan Hill two starts back then went to Geelong on the synthetic and just had no luck, watch the run and you will see this. No 2 Mitchener is always around the mark, hardly ever puts in a terrible race. No 4 Gazardiel (nom Thur) a chance for multiples.

Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips Monday 4th April 2010 Victoria Australia

Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Jumps racing returns to the home of jumps racing being Warrnambool. I like to watch the races but hardly ever bet on them.

Race 1 – 3224mtrs Hurdle 3yo & up – 01.00pm

It is sad for me to see a horse like No 3 Gravitas (nom Wed) who was a $1,500,000 purchase back in 2007. But again it is good to see he is still racing. No 2 Chatillion was a $1,000,000 purchase and likewise never lived up to expected potential. No 4 Sarem cost $400,000 and also been a disappointment. Who will win this 4 horse race? Probably No 1 Cat’s Fun a $75,000 purchase that has over $800,000 in prize money. Last win was the Perth Cup in January 2008.

Race 2 – 3224mtrs Maiden Hurdle 3yo & up (set weights) – 01.35pm

No idea, watch markets but I would save my money if I was you.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

Have to watch markets here on the first starters, any good money moves you have to go with them. I have tried to get an early market for No 7 Letter From France (nom Wed) but no takers, this horse watching her trials and race run is a bit like her dad, Exceed and Excel. If you remember him he was a great front running sprinter. Letter From France on debut over-raced a bit, was a little too keen and may have been a little underdone. I am watching her with interest. No 4 Ogunde won his trial on a heavy track and his dad a handy sprinter. Other horses that I think should sprint well No 6, No 8 and No 9. These horses I think will be better over more distance No 1, No 2, No 5 and No 10.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.46pm

No 3 Lean On My Fence
looked better suited stepping out to the 1400mtrs last start, last two starts has been unlucky in his runs. He looks the best horse to me on form. No 6 Tont came back from his spell with a better performance. Did work early and sat wide all the way, fought hard right to the line. No 12 Forever Here scratched from Ballarat yesterday, has drawn badly but is a nice looking horse and if she gets across and cover will be running on hard. No 4 Pursuit of Glory track and distance goes well, raced wide last start so give a chance. Watch markets on first starter No 1 Crystal Playboy as would not surprise me if he sprints well; dad was handy around 1400mtrs as a 3yo.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 -89 Handicap – 03.22pm

No 8 Desatin (nom Wed)
if starts will be hard to beat for me. The Moonee Valley run was terrible and forget, never got into the race before that was very good form finding the line really well in her other three runs. No 1 Starkron returned from a 629 day spell with an average run at the Valley. If he is right you have to respect. No 5 Backwhereibelong will be better stepping up in distance and also will be fitter here. No 2 Hexy Legs returns to Victoria from Tasmania where his form was good.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.58pm

No 3 Broms Express
has two good runs this preparation, last start at Hamilton could have won but just missed out. No 4 Conscribe is first up from the spell and goes well fresh. No 1 Boydari will be better for the first up run. No 7 Swanz drops back to 1200mtrs and is racing well.

Race 7 – 1700mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.38pm

No 1 Our Shanagolden
came back from a 5 week freshen up and won well, came from well back and a chance again on that run despite the weight. No 4 Leaping Leroy has hardly put a foot wrong since November 2010, respect. No 13 Jalouse (nom Wed) since her good first up run at Ballarat has been scratched three times, watch markets as not such a bad horse. No 12 Ingalla Angel last start not flash but before that very good, good trainer and keep safe.

Mildura Horse Racing Tips Sunday 3rd April 2011 Victoria Australia

Mildura Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.05pm

The first starters watch markets for support. No 4 Bella’s Cry give a chance to break her duck here. No 1 Persona Grata won a trial well then first up this preparation was a little wide, not a bad run and give a chance. No 6 Invincible Lady close to a win, watch markets closely.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.41pm

This is a very average race. No 7 Swift Arrow has drawn wide but give a chance. No 8 Devil’s Handbag last start not so bad. No 4 King Rodney Adelaide form is good.

Race 3 – 1400mtrs 2yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.16pm

No 2 Basho
I expect to be better here. No 7 Monte Mystique from the ACT, give a chance as form over there not so bad. No 3 Freeze the Moment not so bad and under a handy city trainer.

Race 4 – 1800mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.51pm

This is another very average race. No 5 Toboggan Sue has stepped up well in distance and last start looked good finding the line, looks the best horse here by a yard or two. No 10 We Belong give a chance after failing last start, is better than that.

Race 5 – 1800mtrs 0 -62 Handicap – 03.28pm

We are racing in the bush so another weak race for me. No 3 Razon De Jeu (nom Thur) three runs this preparation, last preparation ran some okay races around this distance. No 7 Prussian Star last three runs around the mark. No 1 Target Explorer the class horse of this weak field. N0 2 West Ho is a 9yo but respect.

Race 6 – 1100mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.08pm

No 2 Lotsa Grunt
hasn’t won since December 2010, but really is not such a bad horse. Is good 2nd up and a chance to add a win to the record. No 7 Vision of One will probably lead and if can set an easy pace will be hard to run down. No 3 Bold Line has been around the mark and freshened here. No 6 New Avenue goes alright second up so give a chance.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.48pm

No 3 Flying Omission (special)
looked good finding the line late at Warrnambool, the only horse to really make good ground. No 4 Full Peal lightly raced and last start was a good win. No 6 Macky is first up from the spell, keep an eye on markets for support. No 1 Reflex for multiples.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 05.27pm

Another very average race. No 6 My Frozen Assets will be up on the pace and may sneak away with this. No 1 Disco Gossip not bad around this distance.

Flat Chat and La Praline from Moonee Valley Saturday 2nd April 2011

My best bet of the day at Moonee Valley got up, Flat Chat smashed his opponents winning by 6 or 7 lengths. I had backed early in the week at much better odds of $2.25 and he ended up jumping at $1.70 after opening at $1.85.

My other bet of the day La Praline opened at $1.90 and was backed into $1.75. I had backed in the early markets at $4.10. I did have her eachway, but was disappointed with her running 2nd. Look Linda Meech is one of the best female jockeys going around but if Luke Nolen had ridden La Praline she would have won.

Meech got caught wide in no man land. Didn’t push to the lead but sat 4 wide. La Praline got her head up and was over racing and Meech tried to restrain her. Finally got her across but still 2 wide near the turn. She ran a heck of a race and is a definite next start when Nolen gets on board her. She is green but will get better with racing.

Sepoy Wins 2011 Golden Slipper at Rosehill Australia.

Sepoy showed everyone that he is the best two year old in Australia after people started to doubt him after being beaten in a race (The Todman Group 2 ran 2nd) that he never looked settled in. I hope that he races a little more before being retired to stud as he is a very exciting horse.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Saturday 2nd April 2011 Victoria Australia

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Racing at Moonee Valley and of course in Sydney on Golden Slipper Day, some smart Victorian horses have made the trip and have a very good chance of winning the races they have entered in. Last two days have backed the quadrella, at Seymour it cost me $96 for a $419 return and yesterday at Mornington cost $160 for a $1,383 return. Hope it continues today at the Valley.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.10pm

Watch the markets for support for these first starters and lightly raced horses. No 3 City of Song $1.80 won well on debut and then unlucky at Caulfield, couldn’t get clear and had to push through a small gap about 125mts out, couldn’t pick up the leaders. Looks a nice horse. No 2 Cash Bound $6.50 ran a good race in an easy maiden, did a bit wrong as was slow away and then sat wide, come wide in the straight and really found the line well last 200mtrs. No 5 Kidancho’s Rogue $31 could really add some value to multiples, won a trial in good time then on debut made contact jumping, then raced 4 wide, over-raced middle stages and raced very tight around the bend, then laid out in the straight. Consider all this not a bad debut.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 12.45pm

No 2 I’m Discreet $2.50
is the class runner here, drops back to 1000mtrs and is undefeated in three starts at the distance. Should be up on the lead so the tight MV track first time shouldn’t be a problem. No 4 So Elusive $5 is racing well, drops back to the 1000mtr sprint and at this weight sure to run a cheeky race. No 1 Big Spirit $3.80 has a very good track and distant record, the claim will help. No 3 Bella Diva $4.40 for the multiples.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.25pm

No 2 Moshe $2.45 (nom Sydney)
is a little short for me, he is the form horse but this is harder than his other 3 wins to date for me. No 4 Éclair Flyer $3.80 is a smart little horse, returns for a ten week let up, won a trial impressively so sure to be forward here. No 1 Lone Rock $6.50 has trialed was terrible but expect a better horse than that. No 3 Dutchy’s Lass $8.50 for the multiples.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 02.45pm

No 7 La Praline $2.25 (I backed at $4.10)
from the Moody camp won well on debut at Werribee. An easy win in strong time and although this is much harder have to respect at this weight. No 1 Psychologist $3.40 is the form runner and the 2kg claim will be a big help. No 2 Pontiana $13 first up from the spell and in Victoria not so bad as did shift in around the 350mtr mark, bumping and became unbalanced, found the line well. No 5 Lady Pania $13 (nom Thur) was good first up and has a couple of decent 1200mtr runs under the belt. Scratchings throw in No 4 Barangaroo $10.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.45pm

This is a hard race for me, No 1 Produced $8.50 is a good chance at nice odds for me. Will be better for the two runs this preparation and the 3kg claim a big help. No 5 Devil’s Force 4.40 is very hit and miss but if he is on will be hard to beat. No 6 Live In Sin $5.50 is a horse punters probably hate, impossible to follow but have to keep safe. No 4 Arton $18 is an old fella at 7yo but first up from the spell and still has a good turn of foot.

Race 6 – 1523mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Handicap – 03.37pm

This is a very hard race. No 4 Lovemelikearock $5.50 has been going around in much harder races and not disgraced. A smart horse and just forget her last run completely, much better than that. No 10 Mont Fleuri $6 I like her last start and if she carries that form into this race sure to be around the mark. No 3 Tampiko $3.50 can carry big weights, and the 60kgs is imposing but she is a smart little horse racing well. No 7 My Emotion $8 has been going around in group races and not that bad, last start in Filly and Mare class she flew home from way back and a chance at odds.

Race 7 – 1523mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.25pm

No 6 Flat Chat $1.95
I have already backed at better odds than this but I do think he is the bet of the day. Is racing in very good form and is light with the claim all big bonuses to me. No Mourinho $8 is still learning but can run a good race as you can see in his form, watch markets and if right sure to be around the mark. No 10 Backgammon $7.50 is not such a bad horse, been in harder races and first up from the spell was finding the line well, at this weight a chance. No 7 Ship In The Night $13 (nom Mon) a good first up run and will appreciate the extra metres. If any scratchings throw in No 1 Kallogg $13 for the multiples.

Race 8 – 2040mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 05.10pm

No 1 De Fine Lago $3.80
is current favourite and last start no luck at all, he got his head up a few times in the run, got checked off heels near the turn, could not get a clear run in the straight. Could have finished a lot closer. No 11 Kert $7 has been close to a win, last start was caught 5 wide to the turn first time, sat 2 wide the whole way and fought very hard right to the line. No 3 The Big Steel $4.60 is racing well, led last start at a good pace and only ran down last 100mtrs or so. No 5 Port Vell $9 a chance for multiples.
