Geelong Synthetic Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 1st June 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Geelong Synthetic Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Maiden Plate (Set weights) – 12.00pm

The young 2yo girls go around here. I look forward to seeing No 7 Pimento return from her spell as she did lead Sepoy a long way her first race run and only finished 1.6 lengths away. She did look nice and should be better for her first preparation. First starter No 6 Pass The Baton was a $200,000 purchase and is well bred, should sprint well fresh so watch markets closely. No 5 Miss Mazzeo is another first starter that is bred well, should also sprint well on breeding. No 3 Joyeux forget her last start, she is better than that run and was just a little outclassed, she did run some nice races her first preparation. No 8 Unruly Princess from the Kent stable, watch markets and respect the stable if any money moves. No 2 Grassy the other first starter I will be watching when steps up further in distance, over at least 1200 to 1400mtrs.

Race 2 – 1900mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (Set weights) – 12.35pm

No 1 Arms Deal
will kill this, as simple as that. My bookie offered me stupidly short odds here so will have to wait for markets to open but I expect him to be short. No 7 Lady of the Garter last start forgive as got herself cast in the gates last start and never got going in the race. For multiples No 8 Sweet Disposition (nom Sat). I will be having an exacta with the 1 into the 7.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) Handicap – 01.10pm

No 5 Harland (nom Fri)
a good chance here to break through for a win. Ran on the pace a long way first up before being run over. Was a little green looking at the video first up so should be fitter here. No 7 Rattle My Cage (nom Fri, Sat) lead till about 75mtrs out last start, on that run should be around the finish. No 4 Guru Bay (nom Fri) I like the breeding but he could want a little further but watch markets.

Race 4 – 1300mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 82 Handicap – 01.45pm

No 1 Reverberates (nom Sat)
drops back in class here, needed that first up run for sure and should be better here. No 6 Halo Miss Maher (nom Sat) will settle back I would say and can finish her races off well. No 9 Holy Brom should have three wins in a row to her name. She does look a nice horse but this is a harder race but is nice at this weight. No 8 Tottenham Girl I don’t think will start here but if she does respect.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs Class 1 Handicap – 02.20pm

No 2 White Universe (nom Fri)
returns from a spell and I look forward to seeing him return here, I am sure Moody will have him ready to go. No 4 Sidecar (nom Fri) is another Moody runner, also returns from the spell and if starts another to keep safe. No 9 Sidecar has been in work a while and is first up here and should be forward. No 5 Zachary Quack (nom Fri) a good win first up from the spell.

Race 6 – 1300mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.55pm

No 4 Elsewhere
returned with a nice run back from the spell, will have trained on and want this or further for sure. No 9 Tuscaloosa (nom Fri, Sat) an impressive win back from the spell, was well supported in the markets. No 7 Attivita (nom Fri) returned from the spell with a run to forget, didn’t handle the conditions looking at the tape and also lost a plate. I liked her Caulfield start last preparation, a good run. No 2 Ohmygod is racing well and will probably set the speed here, if can get an easy pace could be hard to run down.

Race 7 – 2000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.30pm

No 5 Institute (nom Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) as always with Hickmott’s horses it is nominated many times over the coming days, if starts the one to beat for sure going on first start win. No 7 Prinsen (nom Fri) has stepped up well in distance each start this preparation, the weight drop with the class rise will help. No 1 Savaging I expect a much better horse here. No 4 Hennessy Rhythm (nom Fri) goes well on the synthetic .

Race 8 - 1100mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 2 Cavendish
has caught my eye with his last start run, was really hammering late and if runs like this again hard to beat. No 10 Bel Rhythm (nom Fri) has been freshened and really likes this track. No 11 Act Of Faith (nom Fri, Sat, Sun) would not surprise me to see her run a much better race. No 13 Smoking Aces (nom Sun) is an emergency but if starts have to respect.

Caulfield Horse Racing Wrap Up Saturday 28th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Caulfield wrap up.

Well it turned out to be another good day on the punt following on from Thursday at Sale. Caulfield has been kind to me.

In the Race 1 I had said I had already backed No 7 Limerock at much better odds than the $6.50 that were on offer. I had spoken to a good friend and he told me the horse had looked great through the week and that was enough for me. I has $5k eachway at $8 when markets first opened and should have backed outright, but never mind. It was a beautiful ride by the young apprentice. A commission to my mate makes him happy and me to.

Race 2 over night Tactless had been backed well in some markets, some very decent bets were placed. I waited on the Snowden runner and he opened at $6.50 and got out to $9. I thought people had got it wrong and then late was backed into $7.50. It was smart money, and strong support but I stupidly didn't get on the train. My mate did at the track and made a nice earner indeed.

In race 5 I said to watch the markets for support on Beyond Pardon and there was none. My mate at the track said the horse looked good but there was just no money coming for him. He opened $4.60 and then drifted to $6. I stayed off him and went for my second Secret Flyer as he looked excellent. I had him at $6 and the tote paid $6.80 but cannot complain. Secret Flyer flew home out wide and the 3kg claim was a big help.

Race 6 Shadowfax was a certainty for me. I had 10K earlier in the week at $1.85 and those odds were long gone. I invested another 10K at $1.70 and this was another nice return.

Race 7 with Tinamou scratched, it threw the race open for me. I had $3k on Streaky Fella but he ran third.

The last race 8, The first call Mid Summer Music stayed at $3 and the other horse I was worried about drifted About Ready from $4 to $5.50. That was good enough for me and I back Mid Summer Music at $3 for $5k. I said she had drawn wide but would probably not matter late in the day and horses had been making good ground. Lane pulled her wide in the straight and she motored home with the 3kg claim on her back.

The quadrella was fairly easy today, I had;

The first leg Secret Flyer, Basil Da Man and Beyond Pardon.

The second leg was the banker Shadowfax alone.

Third leg I had eight horses, I took 3,4,5,6,8,9,11,12. This was the hardest and most open leg for me and it proved this as well. Gallant Lady led the whole way, a great ride and Galileo bred so no surprise it ran this out and won at nice odds.

The last leg I had Mid Summer Music and About Ready.

1,4,5 / 2 / 3,4,5,6,8,9,11,12 / 1,4 at a cost of $48 for a full unit. I had it ten times and it paid a nice $740.

Hope that you had a good day as well. Tomorrow the racing is at Cranbourne on a heavy and Casterton on a dead track. I have four horses I am interested in but the fields are big so will be waiting to see how the day is unfolding.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Keep an eye on the weather and if any track bias comes into the day. I have already backed 6 horses tomorrow. A few short ones but also a couple at juicy odds, so I am hoping for a good day.

Race 1 - 1440mtrs 3yo Handicap – 11.50am

No 7 Limerock $6.50 (nom Wed)
I have backed at much nicer adds than these. I have heard some good things about her this week and the weight drop into open company and the 3kg claim makes her very light. No 8 Arinosa $6.50 is over the odds for me, she is racing well and light with the claim. Last start was a good run as she was wide the whole trip. No 1 Population $4 has the top weight and been going alright in decent races. Is the best horse class wise here. No 6 Jake Boy $4 is another racing well in easier races, this is harder but drops weight.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 12.25pm

This is a two horse race for me. No 4 Volando $3.50 looks the goods for me, No 1 Annlea $4 these two met here back on the 30th and Volando was a little unlucky there. Is 2kgs better here and big chance for two in a row. No 7 Tactless $6.50 returns after 4 runs in NSW, is not a bad horse and looked good last start. No 8 Confederate Rose $13 could add some nice values to multiples, a huge class rise from the maiden last start.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 2yo Handicap – 01.00pm

This is a hard race. Have to watch markets for money moves as there are some nicely bred first starters and lightly raced horses here. No 8 Zephyron $7 a $2 million dollar purchase will be better for his only start. No 2 Aberrant $11 another returning from a spell, sure to be a little bigger and better for those first runs.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.35pm

No 12 Dubawi Gold $7 (nom Wed
) with the 3kg claim and returning from the spell all look good to me. This race doesn’t look strong. No 9 Marmaa $18 won on debut but since then has not been past the post first. If things go right here could surprise at decent odds. No 10 Breitling $6 second up here and will be fitter and better. No 1 General Truce $ 8.50 the 3kg claim helps and is the class horse.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs Handicap - 02.10pm

No 5 Beyond Pardon $4.60
much improved last start after a pathetic effort at Warrnambool, was supported well last start from $7.50 into $5, keep an eye on the markets. No 1 Secret Flyer $8 has been freshened and the 3kg claim is a nice help. No 4 Basil Da Man $3.80 I am not sure if will start if the track is too soft, if the track is the better side of slow maybe. No 9 Broken $13 for multiples.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs Handicap – 02.50pm

No 2 Shadowfax $1.80 (special)
is short but deserves to be. I have already backed and could only get $1.85 @ 10k, the bookies are being very cautious. No 3 Believe N Achieve $7 will find this a bit easier than what she has been running in of late. No 8 Titus Vinius $19 is very hit and miss, if he is right could be in multiples. No 1 Jungle Ruler $16 will run his heart out as always.

Race 7 – 2406mtrs Handicap – 03.30pm

No 2 Tinamou $3
has drawn wide but the rain affected going will make it very hard to beat him here. No 8 Streaky Fella $7.50 is racing well and the likes the wet. No 3 Boom N Zoom $5.50 has never been on affected going, watch markets for support. No 1 Banana Man $21 has two runs back from a long 107 week spell. He was a nice horse.

Race 8 – 1100mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 04.10pm

This is another two horse race for me. No 4 Mid Summer Music $3.40 has drawn wide, but this might not be such a bad thing this late in the day, and how the track might be playing. First up and wet all bonuses here and I have been whispered some good things saying she looks great. No 1 About Ready $4.80 is first up from the spell, has a good trial under the belt and sure to be forward here. For multiples No 3 Avionics $9 and No 2 rue Maple $7.50.

Sale Horse Racing Tips Thursday 26th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Sale Horse Racing Tips

Sorry for the late tips, Blogger has again been down.

I am not a fan of wet tracks, unless I have good mail I don’t bet a lot on heavy tracks. Tomorrow at Sale there are some first starters I am looking forward to seeing. I have had some mail for a few tomorrow but will wait until track conditions in the morning as this will be important.

Race 1 – 1100mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.01pm

No 7 Stratumsphere
has drawn badly but I like the breeding. I also like No 1 Coach Stone but I think this horse will be better over more distance but is nicely bred. Keep an eye on the markets as they should go well first up No 9 Very Certain and No 11 Graceland (nom Mon).

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.31pm

No 3 Checks
made a nice debut, was held up a little on the turn before hitting the lead but weakened late, will be much better for that run, well bred. No 5 Flyingconi ran a good race at Ballarat on debut, hit the line hard striding out and just missed out, a nice action. No 10 Luckycent returned from the spell with an unlucky run, was wide all the way and also bumped in the straight late, went to Mornington and was well supported at every call and flew home to just miss out. No 2 Bongiorno is better than his form suggests, breeding is better than that. The change of stables could be just the thing to turn things around.

Race 3 - 1700mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.06pm

These maiden races are hard, I like No 11 Secret Stealth even though drawn barrier 17, I have watched all 4 runs this preparation and has ran into trouble each race. I like Nikolic back on board here and this horse looks to have plenty in the tank. No 13 Heavenly Dreams is another horse that has caught my eye watching the video. She has really found the line well both starts and the extra distance looks to suit. No 3 Arms Deal has been sent out favourite last 4 starts being the bridesmaid three times, Nolen getting on board could be the difference. No 5 Cottonwood not a bad debut, has changed stables and gets blinkers here so respect as nicely bred.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.41pm

No 2 Kinbred (nom Sun)
has done things wrong both starts to date, I like Walker on board here and if gets away well will be hard to beat looking at the video. No 4 Phantom Brew has drawn 17, if he had drawn inside of 8, I would probably have him on top here. Watch the video of his debut here at this track it was an eye opener. No 1 It’s Legion (nom Sun) ran a decent trial on a slow track, chance for multiples. No 14 Dicko’s Dream from the Moody camp, gets stable jockey Nolen on board here and could be the big improver.

Race 5 – 1400mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 02.19pm

No 10 Moment To Saviour (nom Tues)
returned from his spell with a good win, goes well second up and if starts could be pretty short. No 13 Regimental Dance (nom Fri, Sun) is another that goes well fresh and if starts respect. No 7 Momuntai Momuntai this is easier than last few races and could be around the finish. No 3 Cip Cip Hooray needed that first up run, will be fitter here. No 11 Magic Tartan (nom Sun) drops way back in class but not sure if will handle the track.

Race 6 – 2200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.54pm

No 8 Merryvale
drops well back in class here after a very good run last start at Caulfield. Stays down in the weights and big chance here. No 11 Cartago at this weight is sure to run a forward race. No 4 Desert Control (nom Sun, Mon) two wins in a row after the freshen up and a chance again on current form. No 10 Umatain a good front running start last race, chance for multiples.

Race 7 – 1100mtrs 0 – 68 handicap – 03.30pm

I really don’t like this race, a lot of glue pots getting about here. I watched a lot of videos and the best I can recommend is No 10 Westella Magic is a lightly raced 4yo mare, watched her last three runs before the spell and she looks the best to me by a bit. No 11 Baltic Spirit has again been unlucky with a wide barrier, ran a good race last start after settling last. No 9 Octavanus has drawn barrier 20, will come in with scratchings and will be doing best work late.

Race 8 - 1700mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 8 California Valley
a nice run first up, will be fitter and better suited over more distance. No 11 King Oliver (nom Sun) is first up but I am sure Kent will have him ready if he starts. No 14 Mesmerize Me (nom Mon) a chance on the heavy track. No 12 Lopov if backs up from a week ago keep safe for multiples.

Kyneton Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 24th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Kyneton Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

I don’t have a lot of time at the moment so I will be short and sweet. Kyneton is a on pace track usually. The small and short straight suits horses on the lead and the heavy track will make things a bit of a lottery for sure.

Race 1 – 1225mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.30pm

No 8 Brambling
is one very nicely bred horse. Look forward to seeing over more distance but respect this horse on breeding. No 4 Innovate (nom Thur, Sat) first starter and nicely bred, if starts watch markets. No 5 River Spirit was very green first run, give a chance. No 11 Rocksan if starts respect the stable, sure to be better than only start to date.

Race 2 – 1225mtrs 2yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

Keep an eye on first starters No 5 Prior and No 1 Flecked and see if support in markets. I like Prior’s breeding. No 3 Hludowig ran a decent trial on slow ground. No 6 Shady Tree should handle the going and led a long way at a good click first up.

Race 3 - 1488mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 handicap – 01.30pm

No 7 Mirakye
has a nice action and give a chance. No 4 Thornquest two decent runs this preparation. No 6 The Shank fell out the gates last start before running a good race.

Race 4 – 1488mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.00pm

No 3 Divine Test
might scratch and run Saturday but if starts watch markets and respect. No 5 Jelly Baby I like the change of stables here, watch markets for any support first up. No 10 Subo is a horse that will get better with racing, last start did a bit wrong but didn’t go too bad.

Race 5 – 1888mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.30pm

This is an average race, very average indeed. If No 5 Kerford starts will be a big chance to break duck. Others that look okay are No 4 Just Hustled and No 2 Bold Grace.

Race 6 – 1125mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 68 handicap – 03.00pm

No 9 Silky Skills
if starts will push forward from the wide gate as likes to run on the pace as does No 3 Filouka, if these two horses get easy sectionals will be hard to beat. No 10 Wickiup will not be too far off them and could be ready to pounce.

Race 7 – 1888mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 68 handicap – 03.30pm

In order of preference. No 2 Lorna’s Lass, No 6 Lunacy, No 8 Sister Maria.

Race 8 - 1225mtrs 0 – 58 handicap – 04.00pm

In order of preference. No 4 Papasan, No 10 Saqueo Bella and No 5 Zupatwo.

Race 9 – 1488mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 2 Distillery drops back in class after a very good run last start, was wide most of the trip, stuck on well and even though is up in weight should be too good on current form. No 1 Toy Master is first up from the spell, this is not a strong race for me so give a chance here.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 21st May 2011

Flemington Horse Racing Tips

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 11.55am

No 1 African Pulse $2.10 won on the heavy track on debut at Sandown. Looked nice and a god win as looked headed but pulled away again late. Should be better on top of the ground as well and if anything like his dad could be a very nice horse in the making. No 12 Passilente $5.50 (nom Wed) returns from her spell, won her only race start and looked good finding the line well at Cranbourne. Watch markets for support. No 2 Chamandi $12 on debut at Flemington not a bad run as did have some early trouble, then went to Morphettville and won well. Should be a little bigger here and I expect a nice horse. Watch the markets on the first starters.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3yo Handicap – 12.30pm

No 4 Fawkner $4 (nom Wed, Thur
) is nominated next week but if starts need to respect as two starts for two wins and looks a nice horse. No 5 Lonhreign $7.50 has been stepping up in grade well, last start did have some trouble in the running, was tightened at the start and hampered badly and lost a lot of ground. On the turn shifted out as well so a good run. No 6 Mr Bisset $13 steps way up in grade compared to last start win but looked good winning. No 1 Pitt Street $10 a good on the pace win last start and could repeat here

Race 3 – 1300mtrs 2yo Gibson Carmichael Stakes – 01.05pm

No 4 Haut Normandie $5
was very green last start, was very touchy at the gates and also green in the running needing to be straightened a few times. Looked nice, a god action. No 11 Torah $9.50 I think is way over the odds as had excuses last two runs and doesn’t look too bad of a horse. No 5 Euryale $3.60 went from debut win at Sandown to a very good run at Flemington really finding the line well late. Looked good and will run this out. No 3 Berenger $3.80 does step up in class here compared to last two starts but does look a nice horse.

Race 4 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 01.40pm

No 8 December Draw $7.50
first race run in Australia was a nice win, does step out to the 2000mtrs and if Baster can get a good sit a cart a chance at nice odds. No 1 Tinamou $5.50 is racing well, if takes the form of last two starts here will be in the finish. No 2 Zoomin $14 I expect a much better horse here, is better than recent form suggests and could salute at juicy odds. No 5 Kutchinsky $6.50 gets the blinkers back on here and cannot dismiss as a multiples chance.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs Henry Bucks Straight Six (Listed) Handicap - 02.16pm

No 4 Dubleanny $2.30 (special
) is by far the standout and class horse here for me and this shows in the markets. I backed her as soon as early markets opened. No 2 Diplomatic Force $7.50 is better than last two starts, keep safe in multiples. No 10 Liveandletdie $6.50 has improved remarkably last two starts, drifted and no support last start but ran a good race and ran over about the 150mtr mark. Fought hard and drops back in distance suits. No 5 Beltrois $12 goes well 2nd up, has trialed again and will be ready to go here.

Race 6 – 3200mtrs Andrew Ramsden Stakes (listed) Handicap – 02.51pm

Again the class horse is short here. No 1 Niwot $3.90 returned from a long 86 week break. Really needed the first two runs and then returned to his old form. A nice win here at Flemington and then went to the Warrnambool carnival for the cup and ran a big race finding the line well. Has never been past 2400mtrs but looks good. No 5 Stole $7 as a 5yo she has stepped up in distance well and looked good, worked home well over 2600mtrs last start. No 8 Doubly Sure $26 this is a big class rise, was a good run and been over the distance a few times. No 3 I’m Jake $5.50 another racing well and have to respect over the distance.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs Handicap – 03.30pm

No 3 Demerit $5
returns across from Sydney after coming up against More Joyous and Black Caviar. This is a lot easier and respect this horse. No 7 At The Heads $5 goes back into open class so drops a heap of weight, last start was a good run as was wide for a long way home. No 4 Lucky Eighty Eight $11 is first up here but been in work a while and looks good apparently, could add good value to multiples. No 11 Euphoric Realm $5.50 is another that goes to open company and drops a lot of weight. Looked good winning at Seymour but this is a lot harder.

Race 8 – 1700mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.15pm

No 1 Tintern $31
could be worth a small eachway bet. This horse came back from a long 77 week spell. Did nothing in the race but is a better horse than that. Will be better for the run. No 4 Under The Hat $4 has stepped up in distance well this preparation and last start so close to a win. Definitely the one toy beat. No 10 Royal Commands $11 looked good last start and another at juicy odds. No 17 Resetable $6 (nom Wed) is an emergency but if starts keep safe after strong first up win.

Bendigo Horse Racing Tips Thursday 19th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Sorry no tips the last few days, haven’t liked the wet tracks and nothing really jumping out at me. Had a good Saturday with 4 winners on top and also some very good quinellas as well. Have been watching markets closely over the last few days and had the odd bet here and there on the smart money. Hope to get a few past the post first here at Bendigo for you.

Bendigo Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1100mtrs Maiden Plate (Set weights) – 12.02pm

No 2 Chewing Steel
only two runs to date. Debut run was decent last start the vet said he was slow to recover. Give a chance, good stable and he looks to have a nice action. No 3 Dairy (nom Sun) if starts is going to be better for first preparation. Will be better schooled and looked alright racing last preparation. No 5 Irish Gold (nom Mon) returned for a long spell with two good runs at Ballarat, then went here to Bendigo but failed, did over-race early on and was supported in the markets late. No 6 Leica Heart having his first race start, is unseen and on breeding looks nice. Will probably find this a little too short but his dad was smart.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs Maiden Plate (Set weights) – 12.37pm

This is a hard maiden race with some good chances here and I think maybe a couple of decent horses in the making. No 4 Polygon Prankster came back from his first spell looking a much better schooled horse. Worked to the line well and the extra metres should suit. No 8 You Think So returns from the spell, only race run was decent and sure to be better here. No 6 Tiger Stripe (nom Mon) was scratched from Sandown yesterday, if starts respect. Was disappointing returning at Warrnambool but a much better horse than that. No 7 Verified is first up here but has been work in work for a while and sure to be ready and fit.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) Handicap – 01.12pm

No 9 Something To Share (special)
last start hammered home late and looks really good. Was supported late in the markets and sure to run this out. No 1 Bells of Brooklyn will be better here I think. First start raced wide with no cover most the race and then last hung out early on and then hung in down the straight. On breeding should run this out and further. No 8 Shinakuma has been freshened since first race run, looked green there and should be better. No 7 Jollience a chance for multiples. No 6 Institute (nom Tues) from the Hickmott and Crown Casino clan, the Williams have nominated this $180k purchase first up if it starts watch markets closely.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.47pm

No 1 Bigmissy (nom Sat)
a nice debut and looked a little green, worked home well and laid in down the straight under pressure, did find the line and will be better for the run. No 2 Bouggie Danzer (nom Tues) in a good stable and lead a long way last start. No 4 Dublin Darlin a chance for multiples.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 02.22pm

No 4 Capturethedream
has his foot on the till, has been so close and gets a good chance here to pick up a win. No 3 Van Halo (nom Mon) comes back from being freshened, drops back in distance and sure to run a cheeky race. No 7 Catarata returned from the spell with a good win here at the track, looked good hitting the line hard. No 1 Pliers form doesn’t look great this preparation but if you watch the runs does have some excuses, Froggy Newitt gets on board and I expect an improvement here.

Race 6 – 1400mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 02.57pm

No 12 Princess Diablo (nom Sun)
I think we will see a better horse on top of the ground here. No 1 Our Boy Lukas (nom Sun) returns from the spell, has a trial under the belt and Sydney form decent so watch the markets closely. No 15 Ultimate Warrior (nom Tues) returned from the spell with an average run but will be better for it and sure to appreciate the extra metres. No 4 Academy Magic has come down from Brisbane way and first up run at Warrnambool not so bad, chance for multiples.

Race 7 – 1300mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Class 1 Handicap – 03.32pm

No 11 More Than A Monty (nom Tues) (special) has been frustrating to say the least. Last start was galloped on and had a laceration on the near foreleg, was well supported in the markets. The start before at Ballarat was backed from $8.50 into $5 late, was hammering home late but just got too far back. A much better barrier and if no problems a big chance for me. No 1 Esoterical returns from a long spell, nicely bred and a good stable. This horse should be bigger and better here. No 3 Marvellous Miss (nom Fri, Sun, Mon) if starts respect. No 2 Babe To Win last start was crowded badly on jumping and then checked, never got going. First up did win well so give a chance.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.11pm

A hard race to finish but will try to go out with a winner. No 3 Towcutter is getting on a little bit but an honest horse. First up on the Heavy never got going and back on top of the ground here will be better for sure. No 12 No Vanity likes to sit up on the pace usually and if can get some easy sectionals could pinch this. No 8 Devilenko has been let up for 32 days, sprints well and will be fit. No 1 King Cotton was never on the track last start and goes better on the drier tracks, give a chance.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Saturday 14th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Sorry the tips were so late but Blogspot issues are to blame. Good luck if having a punt.

Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Most interest today will be on the BTC Cup at Doomben and Black Caviar. If it keeps raining in Melbourne then it will be another heavy track and looking for mudlarks. Sandown midweek was a swamp and after the first race I kept out of the running. Watch for any track bias and keep a close eye on the markets.

Race 1 - 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 12.00pm

No 7 Volando $3.70 (nom Wed)
could have, should have won last start. I backed at over $6. On that run for me the standout here. No 2 Royal Bender $3.80 the big question here is will she run out the 1400mtrs, going on last run could do that. No 1 Barangaroo $7 is hit and miss to date, is better than last few runs for sure. No 4 Arinosa $4 led a long way last start, did a lot of on pace work and just went down, a good run.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.35pm

All interest will be on the $2 million dollar first starter No 8 Zephyron $7.50, being a Zabeel will run this distance but will also appreciate more. The original reports on this colt were amazing, the best looking colt ever seen in the western hemisphere. I am looking at backing No 1 Highly Recommended $3.50, has a couple of good races under the belt. Last start was not suited by the speed of the race, was very hot at the front and took its toll, give a chance. No 9 Cliques $4.20 stepped up from her trial run into a NMW race at Sandown, won this on debut nicely, found the line well and also drops weight. Watch the markets on the first starters.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 01.10pm

No 2 Ariarni $6.50
is at juicy odds for me with the 3kg claim again. No 8 Straveen $6 (nom Wed) was crunched returning at Ballarat from $6 into $3.80 and won well, this is a big class rise but stays down in the weight. No 1 I’m Discreet $5.50 has been freshened and is a smart horse, 12 times in the money from 17 starts. For multiples No 3 Aspinal $4.60.

Race 4 – 1800mtrs Handicap – 01.45pm

No 5 Port Vell $4.40
I am giving another chance, last start no luck at all. Was away slowly and just never clear running, usually likes running on the speed and I expect a better performance here. No 2 Hawks Bay $3.90 is close to breaking through for a win in Victoria. No 4 Oronero $6.50 raced wide early last start with no cover, will be better for the run. No 3 Yallingup $4.60 for multiples.

Race 5 – 2000mtrs Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap - 02.21pm

An average race that I am not keen on. No 1 Shylock’s Daughter $3.50 is a big chance to win again, this race isn’t any harder and not too bad off at the weights with the claim. No 4 Gallant Lady $7.50 form before last start was good, forget this run and better back at this distance. No 3 You I Find $5 (nom Wed) could fill the multiples.

Race 6 – 1100mtrs Handicap – 02.56pm

No 4 Elumino $6
I backed eachway at nicer odds than this. I have heard good news about her and she looks good I have been told. No 3 Basil Da Man $4.40 has 4 wins in a row from as many starts. The question will be the wet track. No 5 Balavan $4 favourite won 5 in a row before failing before going to the paddock. Returns here and has won twice on heavy tracks. For multiples No 1 Royal Ida $12.

Race 7 – 1200mtrs 3yo Handicap – 03.35pm

No 1 Curtana $3
is the class runner here and I have already backed, the 3kg claim will help and looked very good winning first up. Has trained on by all accounts and looks good. No 10 Set and Forget $7 I like what I have seen of this horse, still learning but give a chance. No 4 Enzed Girl $8.50 this is much harder than last start win but does drop 4kgs. No 2 General Truce $5.50 for multiples.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs Handicap – 04.20pm

No 2 Carrara $7
hasn’t won since September 2009, but I am giving another chance. I like Nikolic back on board and this is a decent horse when right. No 3 Demerit $4 will find this much easier than last two starts, goes well in the wet and sure to be a threat. No 12 Shadowfax $4.80 a very nice run first up and will have trained on, could not get a clear run last start, respect. No 10 At The Heads $8.50 for multiples.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 11th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 - 1600mtrs 3yo 0 - 72 Handicap – 12.10pm

No 4 Fawkner (nom Sat, Sun, Mon)
if starts have to respect after debut win. It was only on a very slow track at Ballarat but does look a nice horse. No 7 Catagious stepped up to open company at Caulfield for the first time last start well, is going to be much better for that run. No 2 Get Out of Town found the line well last start, is going to be fit and likes the wet. No 5 Quadrant is still a horse learning and can run a good race if puts it together.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.45pm

No 1 The Counterfeiter (nom Sat)
if starts here have to respect. Will lead and set the tempo and is a very nice horse and looks good this preparation. No 8 Red Dress Marley (nom Fri) returns to racing after an excellent debut in the Debutante Stakes last October. Has a trial under the belt on the 18th of April and looked nice. No 2 Beseech (nom Sat) a good win returning from the spell at Ballarat, a horse that will get better with racing. No 3 Sammartini (nom Sat, Sun) is another horse that came back from his first preparation with a good run, looked better schooled and a bit more muscle as well. Found the line well. You have to watch the markets on Peter Moody’s first starter No 6 Wagner (nom Sat, Sun) if he starts here. Has trialed and been in work for a while, if starts later in the week get on board as much easier races.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 - 82 Handicap – 01.20pm

No 4 Head North
is going to be all the better for her first up run, was slow away and tightened for room early and also got held up near the turn, didn’t get clear running until 200mtrs out, give a chance as ran some good races last preparation. No 9 Third Day (nom Sat, Sun) maybe finally her Zabeel breeding has kicked in. She really found the line well late last start. It was a much easier race and slow time but she looked good. No 1 Fabulist doesn’t have a great 1600mtr record but I am giving her a chance. She was off the track wide and no cover virtually the whole race last start and only weakened late. Has a big heart and if gets a good cart could surprise. No 5 Mayneda Strategy is racing well and a chance for multiples.

Race 4 – 1800mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.55pm

Watch the markets on No 8 Power O’Raylee (nom Sat, Sun) from the Moody camp. She hasn’t set the world on fire yet. He dad we sadly didn’t see enough of O’Reilly as he retired after only two runs in Australia but was a very smart horse, and her mum La Banca was quiet handy over distance and won her last start at Sandown over 1800mtrs. No 1 Heidilicious (nom Sat) is a nice Zabeel filly, she is racing well and the 3kg claim a big help. No 4 Arizona Miss (nom Sat) last start could have been closer, got caught on the rail and never clear running down the straight and untested to the line. The win before that at Bendigo was okay. No 3 Very Cherry (nom Fri, Sat) a good chance for multiples.

Race 5 – 2400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap - 02.30pm

No 11 Achilles Heel $9.50
from the Hawkes camp has really come on last two runs, finding the line very well and is light here. No 7 Little Slapper $5.50 (nom Sat) ran a cheeky race last start, led by a big margin early on, came back to the field but kicked and only weekend late. No 4 Tully Prince $4.50 this is his forth run back this preparation, last start came across from a wide barrier and led a long way and only went down on the line. No 2 Diamondsontheinside $9 (nom Sat, Sun) will get better with racing and distance like here.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.05pm

Watch the markets on No 4 Innocent Gamble $3.60 as returning from a long spell. After winning on debut in a Blue Diamond preview has not come on but met some top horses along the way. No 10 Spurcific $4.80 (nom Thur, Sat) goes alright on softer ground and will be running home for sure. No 3 Braided General $4.40 likes the Sandown track and the distance and is racing well. No 12 Strike The Tiger $8.50 hasn’t lived up to the Tasmanian form but a chance for multiples.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 03.40pm

No 1 Sunday Rose $4.60 (nom Sat)
had three trials before first up at Caulfield, she got her tongue over the bit so forget the run. They do put the Norton Bit on her here but not the tongue tie but still should do the job. If she starts respect. No 6 Tango Express $4.60 returns from a let up, has trialed nicely and sure to be ready here. No 9 Dante’s Flame $13 (nom Fri) is an outsider but is very light and can sprint well. No 7 Super Swell $7.50 (nom Sat) has been freshened and a chance for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1700mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.20pm

No 6 Too Deadly $3.80
is yet to race beyond 1440mtrs but he has showed that he is looking for more distance the way he finds the line. No 10 Honourable Aussie $10 (nom Sat) even though easier company in Sydney recent form is good so respect and watch markets for support. No 14 Savaging $13 O’Brien has him ticking over well this preparation. No 11 Our Mastermind $4.50 since coming from NZ has two starts at Bendigo for two wins. This is harder but respect.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 7th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

After a very hard as expected Warrnambool carnival we return to good old Flemington. I had two bets over the three day Warrnambool carnival for a second place, so I am really keen to get back into the winners circle here. I have had a few early market bets and hope to be smiling later in the day.

Race 1 - 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 12.05pm

A nice mares race to start. I have already backed No 3 Deliver The Dream $2.60 (nom Wed) at a much better price than the current fixed odds. She drops back to mares class and gets better with racing. I have heard she has trained on very well and looks great. No 5 Winged Charm $4.80 (nom Wed) has been racing very well, won a trial after being freshened and looked good so respect. No 6 Misty Blue $7.50 (nom Wed) I think will be raring to go here, last start not a lot of luck and could have finished much closer. No 7 So Elusive $11 was scratched from the Warrnambool carnival for here, last start over-raced early on and wouldn’t settle, will be better here. Keep No 1 Status Symbol $7.50 safe in multiples.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.40pm

This is a hard race with many that have a good chance of winning. No 13 Torah $10 last start was not so bad, was last out of the barriers, ran onto heels and checked about 1000mtrs out, on the turn started to get through traffic and slowly wound up and looked good late, a nice action. No 10 Panhandle $7 not a bad debut, slowly away and then caught on the fence. Weaved through the field with a good run to the line. No 1 Burnout $12 drops back in class and give a chance as better than last start. No 3 The New Boy $4.60 is current favourite and should be on last start run, was a little unlucky and could have won that listed race.

Race 3 – 2000mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.15pm

No 1 Turnitup $4.80 (nom Wed)
another Moody runner here that I like. Stepping out past 1600mtrs for the first time and should run this out on breeding. No 7 Extension $6 (nom Wed) has drawn terribly but respect if starts as breeding is very nice. No 3 The Chevron $4.60 (nom Wed) will appreciate the extra metres here for sure. No 9 Stroemsky $16 for the multiples.

Race 4 – 1400mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.50pm

No 4 Sheahan $3.50 (nom Wed)
I like this horse, a good win on the heavy last start and I look forward to seeing at Flemington if starts here. No 2 Liveandletdie $4.20 did surprise last start but if keeps that form have to respect. No 3 Broadcast $4.20 you have to respect as a nice horse. No 5 Pitt Street $11 give a chance as looks nice and third run back should be firing.

Race 5 – 2800mtrs Handicap - 02.27pm

No 2 I’m Jake $4
was vetted at the barrier last start, passed fit but bombed the start before rallying forward, came into the race down the back straight and forged ahead around the 300mtrs mark, a nice run and win. No 11 Rusticated $4.60 is going great guns and cannot dismiss. No 9 Hiphopopotamus $13 a chance for the places. No 1 Capecover $10 returns from NZ and has two hurdle trials under the belt so sure to be fit.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs Handicap – 03.02pm

No 2 Chartreux $21
is a good each-way bet for me. This horse is better than these odds and has not had the best of luck of late. From this barrier she does risk getting pocketed but hopefully will get away well and a nice cart into the race. No 10 Miss Bindi $4.60 is going very well this preparation and have to respect. No 3 Niblick $4 drops back to 1600mtrs and this will suit for me, looks a nice horse but can be frustrating to follow. No 5 No Jurisdiction $8.50 was scratched from an easier race at Warrnambool so keep safe in multiples.

Race 7 – 2000mtrs Handicap – 03.40pm

Keep a watch on No 2 Buccellati $12, gets blinkers for the first time in Australia. If any money moves have an each-way go. No 3 Fanjura $3.80 is a very frustrating horse but is in good form and need to respect. I do like Noonan getting on board with the claim. No 5 Boom N Zoom $4.60 looks good this preparation, come home well for a nice win last start. No 4 Wind Shear $15 for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.20pm

No 3 Royal Bender $5.50
ran a good race against the up and coming La Praline last start, the claim will help as well. No 4 Enzed Girl $8.50 goes better with racing and should be fit here. No 5 Rock Me Sweet $7.50 does have a trial under the belt and will be better for it. No 6 Sheila’s Star $7 for multiples.

Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 4th May 2011 Victoria Australia

Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

The three day Warrnambool racing carnival is always hard to pick winners. Will try and point us in the right direction but keep a close eye on the track conditions and any bias throughout the day.

Race 1 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 12.05pm

This is a hard race to start the day. No 5 Thornquest a good run first up last start back from the spell, looked good winning at this track two starts back. No 1 Yorkshire Lad (nom Sat) is the class runner and have to respect even though the weight. No 3 Fantastic Lover has two good races to date, get Oliver on board so respect. No 2 Happyendo (nom Fri) has two wins this preparation and the Bendigo failure excuses, watch for support.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.40pm

No 8 Something To Share
ran a nice debut, really started to work home well late and should have trained on. No 4 Éclair Classic is yet to win but last start could have been a lot closer with some luck. No 1 Bells Of Brooklyn has drawn terribly but if starts respect. No 18 Bold Trojan (nom Sat, Sun, Mon) is an emergency and if starts watch markets as stable has to be respected

Race 3 – 1700mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.15pm

No 3 King Voque
I like what I have seen of him back from his spell. No 12 Bouggie Danzer (nom Fri, Sat, Sun) if starts here will be the big improver for me. No 1 Galactic Vision give a chance on breeding. No 4 Marked Danger was doing best work late last start. Any scratchings throw in No 10 Albazar.

Race 4 – 1700mtrs 4yo yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.50pm

This is a very average race and best to keep your money in your pocket. No 9 Nimmo should be better for his first up preparation here. No 3 Con Trust (nom Sun) a gutsy run last start and will be better with the two week let up. No 2 Basho has been average to date but maybe blinkers for the first time may turn things around.

Race 5 – 3200mtrs Galleywood Hurdle - 02.30pm

I am not much of a jumps man. No 7 Stoneblack $4.80 is from Smerdon and this good horse with only two starts over the jumps to date. Last start forget and watch the race and you will what I mean. Haas trialed since then over the hurdles and looked good. No 1 Famous Prince $9.50 is going alright as is No 9 Zendi $5.50 who won his last two stats over the jumps.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs Wangoom Handicap (listed) – 03.15pm

I really like this race and one of the best country sprints going around. No 2 Philda $12 is overs for me, I am sure Kent will have her flying and ready for this, her record speaks for itself. No 10 Rue Maple $7 what an excellent run back from her spell. Don’t count her out on that run. No 7 Broken $6.50 is a known 1000mtr horse but if the track stays the slow 7 or goes to a heavy then he comes into it for me. No 16 Beyond Pardon $5.50 is the current favourite and Smerdon does have him going well.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.55pm

No 3 Ruadhan (nom Thur)
if he starts here respect, don’t sorry about his first up record as this horse looks really good from what I have heard. No 15 Swanz (nom Thur) has two good runs under the belt and will be firing on all legs here. No 4 Melete a god win a week ago in easier company but give a chance for multiples. No 10 Mana Lane will be better for the first up run and looked nice.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.35pm

No 8 Close The Door
drops back in class here, first up have to respect this horse. No 13 Libby’s Daughter forget the first up run as I expect a much better horse here. No Resolvere went well first up, worked home well late. No 9 Keltara give a chance as nicely bred and watch markets for support, is better than her last start.

Pakenham Horse Racing Tips Monday 2nd May 2011 Victoria Australia

Pakenham Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1008mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.15pm

No 8 Silky Skills
from the Moody camp returns from her first spell, she is sure to be better schooled and was well supported in her first run that wasn’t too bad, watch markets. No 7 Palio Princess will be much better for her first two runs, she has been freshened in a good stable and jockey. No 2 Good Night returns from a long spell, won his first ever trial in March 2010 and didn’t look too bad but didn’t take that form to the race track.

Race 2 – 1008mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.51pm

No 3 It’s Complicated (nom Thur) a good run a week ago, led a long way before tiring. No 6 Te Aroha I really like his run last start, was held up for a good 150mtrs in the straight, found line well late. No 8 Besant is unseen and in a good stable so watch markets. No 4 Magnum Force has changed trainers and even though trialed terribly I expect better on breeding.

Race 3 – 1008mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 01.27pm

No 6 French Cricket
likes to lead and will give them something to try and chase down. No 2 Wickiup will sit up on the lead with French Cricket and if they don’t go two hard will both fight out the finish.

Race 4 – 1414mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.03pm

There are some very average glue pots going around here. The standout is No 10 Triple Tease (nom Wed) if starts here I look forward to seeing; only the one start to date worked home well and in a good stable. No 2 Cedar Point (nom Wed) not a bad first up run on the heavy at Echuca. No 8 Storm Royale is second up and will be fitter.

Race 5 – 1414mtrs Class 1 Handicap - 02.39pm

No 1 Java Jack
returns here, had a trial on the 18th and needed it and sure to have trained on since then. No 8 Mallaig last two runs have been okay, this horse needs runs under the belt and has them now. No 2 Mr Bisset (nom Wed) is first up after a long break but watch markets as in a new stable and could be forward. No 4 Captura drops back in grade compared to last few runs, is first up and watch markets.

Race 6 – 1770mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 03.17pm

No 3 Mosseltov
is a much better horse than last start. No 1 Diamondsontheinside needed that first up run and expect a better horse here. No 5 Over Quota is racing well and scratched from Morphettville on Saturday to run here. No 7 Perisher Blue (nom Thur) is better than last start, ran out of steam in straight last start.

Race 7 – 2428mtrs 0 – 58 Handicap – 03.55pm

No 9 Diagolon
only has five runs to date and looks much better over distance. Last few starts very promising. No 7 Dapoint (nom Wed) is a young horse still learning and will be git better with racing. No 3 Scouting I thought would go over the jumps at Warrnambool this week but not nominated so respect here.

Race 8 – 1414mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 58 Handicap – 04.35pm

No 2 Sumatran (nom Thur)
will be better for first up run, will have trained on but will probably run Thursday. No 9 Sensational News stepped out to the 1400mtrs well last start, led a long way. No 14 Great Impression (nom Wed) will also probably run Wednesday at her home track, if starts respect. No 3 Wildcat Strike (nom Wed, Thur) if starts watch markets. No 11 Kouklamou (nom Wed) another for multiples.
