Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wrap Up Wednesday 29th June 2011

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips

It wasn’t such a bad day today,

Race 2 - Aporia over-raced and never settled give a chance as stuck on gamely, follow White Universe over more distance.

Race 3 - I had taken the short odds on Johannapine of $2 and she made hard work of it, still learning and Invincible Jess unlucky, follow her.

Race 4 - I had said to watch markets especially on first starter No 7 Chivvy. There was no money but I had a
nice tip for her earlier in the week. I am a little angry as I only had $1,000 each way on her but the $17k and $4,000 was nice.

Race 5 – was feeling good after the nice little win from Chivvy I had a $2,500 each way go at my top choice Ourkohinoor. I backed her at $4.20 and when the money came I was going to get into her again but didn’t (foolish I am) but still a nice pick up $15k on the race.

Race 6 – I thought Summarise would start this Saturday but ran here and won, I didn’t get on board I had an each way go at Third Day and dropped $2k. Merryvale the horse to follow.

Race 7 - Louisville Dancer never looked comfortable in the going, just didn’t seem to handle the conditions but did fight hard. Watch for better track next start.

Race 8 – Orientaped did me proud and returned $4.20 the place. Would have loved the win but Buddy Amazing was primed here.

Invested $25k today and returned just over $52k so a profit of $27k for the day. Bring on Saturday.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 29th June 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips

I am sorry I don’t have a lot of time so below is the horses in order of preference for tomorrow. It has been a quiet week on the punting front. I had three bets Saturday $1,000 each way on Delegance at $11 and $3.10 the place. Race 5 I dropped $10,000 on Shadowfax, very disappointing but there were some small excuses. Then my other hot tip of the day got home, Elusive Touch at $3.60 and $1.90 for $7,500 each way. Only walked away just over $5k up on the day, better up than down. Had three small bets today at Mornington, race 3 No 5 Noble Game $3.20 and race 9 Isthistheone $2.40 and in race 7 Chatrang let me down.

Race 1 – 3300mtrs Open Hurdle – 12.00pm

A hurdle race and I have no interest what so ever.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 12.35pm

No 4 Aporia, No 5 Languid
, No 6 White Universe (think will start Friday at Geelong) and No 2 Mannopoly.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.10pm

No 5 Johannapine $1.80
after very classy debut win, No 3 Koonoomoo $5.50, No 7 Invincible Jess $9.50 and No 2 Parisian Sunrise $13.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 01.45pm

The unraced lot watch markets especially No 7 Chivvy. My standout here is No 3 Soul Mama if she starts, No 2 Joyeux, No 1 Eramor and No 4 Manor Lady.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.20pm

A very open race here with nice odds on offer. No 4 Ourkohinoor $5.50, No 1 Alittlevolcanic $7.50, No 5 Willysfilly $4 and No 2 Humma Mumma $7.

Race 6 – 2400mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 02.55pm

Another hard race here, stablemates No 9 Third Day has excuses last start watch the race, No 8 Merryvale, No 1 Irel and No 3 Summarise if doesn’t start this Saturday. Watch markets on No 14 The Pentagon as he has had three hurdle trials since his first up run and will be fit.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 78 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 6 Louisville Dancer $4.80
is light and a little unlucky last start. No 2 Cool Diva $4.80, No 3 Jewel Thief $10 and No 1 Dashalot $11.

Race 8 – 1800mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.10pm

A hard race to finish. No 2 Orientaped $9, No 3 Graphic $4.60, No 1 Conquering Journey $4.20 and No 7 Buddy Amazing $9.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 25th June 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Back at Flemington and the track is a dead 4, a shower or two forecast but the track should stay around this rating by the looks of it. The first 4 races are hard so be smart and keep an eye on the markets.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.05pm

This is a tough race to start the day. I am going for a little value here and a horse that can be forgiven for her last start. No 8 Delegance $11 (nom Wed) if you watch her last run she didn’t have a good race. I have watched her other two runs and she doesn’t look too bad. No 3 Stratumsphere $4 has two starts for two wins, last start a good win with a front running run, lost a plate during the running as well. No 13 Songs Of The Bell $4.80 (nom Wed) a good win at Swan Hill last start, comes into this light and this is much harder but respect. No 1 Bossdon City $6.50 is a classy young horse returning and markets will be the best guide on how forward he is.

Race 2 – 1420mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.40pm

No 3 Depot Beach $4.80
I like his last start as he was wide most the trip and wasn’t too far off them. Has drawn much better here and could be the big improver. No 5 Dany The Fox $6 was also wide most the trip last run, will be better for the run and should have improved since then. No 4 Vatuvei $6.50 a first starter for the Moody camp, I like the breeding and have heard he is a nice looking horse. Watch markets closely. No 2 Apollo Creed $4.60 for multiples.

Race 3 – 2540mtrs Handicap – 01.15pm

No 8 Rowland $9 (nom Wed)
has the runs under the belt now, was doing best too late last start and a good chance at nice odds. No 12 Mr. Bisset $4.20 looks like a nice distance horse in the making, still young but has shown some form for me. No 1 Swooper $3.80 is racing well but I do think the weight may be just a bit too much to some of the others. No 2 Risk It All $5 last two runs very good and have to respect.

Race 4 – 1200mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.50pm

Another hard race, No 2 Spurcific $4.20 stepped out to the 1200trs for the first time this preparation last start and a very good run. The 3kg claim a big help and should be right there at the finish. No 6 Stratcombe $3.70 does look a smart horse and this is not any harder than the Caulfield run a few back. Does have a very good turn of foot but have to wait and see how he handles the straight. No 3 Royal Bender $10 is racing well, this will be a test but the claim will help. No 10 Rock Me Sweet $8 was charging home late last start.

Race 5 – 1420mtrs Handicap - 02.28pm

No 4 Shadow Fax $2.30
I backed as soon as markets were posted, has been freshened and the word is has looked great at track work. For multiple players go wide, No 3 La Rocket $35 has been not too far off some nice horses before, first up from the spell did not have a great race and excuses. No 8 Beyond Pardon $6.50 will lead and give them all something to chase down. No 14 Rocky Times $11 and No 13 Takinui $13 both ran good races last start.

Race 6 – 1620mtrs David Bourke Provincial Plate – 03.03pm

A tricky race here and will need to go wide with the quadrella. No 2 Can Do $10 hit the line well last start and Weir keeps Yendall on board. The weight rise is a worry but can carry weight and hits the line well. No 12 Moment To Saviour $5.50 each run this preparation has stepped up in distance, two good wins this preparation and had some in the tank still last start. No 8 Titus Vinius $17 (nom Wed) was disappointing last start for sure, I don’t agree with Oliver thinking he goes better on a soft track, I think a better horse will turn up here. No 5 Finishing Card $5.50 just look at his number and you have to repsect, sure to be right in this to the end.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs Handicap – 03.38pm

I do believe this is a race between the top two horses and the markets reflect this. No 2 Elusive Touch $3.60 returns from his spell and blinkers are on straight away; Kavanagh is confident as keeps Rodd on top and doesn’t engage an apprentice. Did run some good sectionals at Flemington earlier in the week. Only my second bet of the day to date. No 1 Secret Flyer $4.60 is the threat after a nice win first up, the claim a big help and definitely the standout quinella of the day. For multiples there is a wall of horses but No 9 Big Spirit $11 goes well at the track and distance.

Race 8 – 1720mtrs 3yo Handicap – 04.14pm

Again the top two look a class above the rest here. No 1 Pitt Street $2.75 just watch all 5 of his runs this preparation and you cannot go past him Is getting up in weight but the claim helps and looks a little too classy. No 2 Chasse $3.30 didn’t have much luck at the Valley last start, got caught behind a wall of horses but did finish off well and a genuine threat. No 6 Ulundi $5.50 just watch all three runs this preparation and you have to respect. Came from last from the terrible barrier last start and light here and sure to give it a shake at odds.

Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips 22nd June 2011 Victoria Australia Wrap Up.

It was a wet track and a slog fest at Sandown today. It turned out to be a good day as I wasn’t really having a go.

In race 2 of the day I had $500 the win on Sunset Sioux but she run a good fourth. I will be following Tottenham Girl from this run as she didn’t look comfortable on the heavy track but ran a big race.

Race 3 I backed Rocksan $500 eachway and fell out the gates, did a lot of work hunting through the field, did run on and fight hard right to the line and a good run in all. Returned money at $2 the place.

Race 4 Pass Me By I wish I had more than the $500 eachway, I said it would take some to run him down. Returned $4,700 on the race.

Race 5 had $1,000 the win of Testascana and with 100mtrs to go thought maybe he would hang on but Ortayga was held up and when clear 200mtrs out motored home. Lost $1,000.

Race 6 keep an eye on my first choice Good Value after being scratched for this Saturday as is a nice looking horse. My second choice Go For Home I had $1,000 eachway and I liked his last start here at the track and lost a plate in the running. Oliver rode a great race here and I owe him a beer, was on the rail and pushed off just before the turn, about 4 wide in the straight and looked headed 50mtrs out by fast finishing Yokozuna but Oliver lifter him for a great win. Picked up $6,500.

Race 7 I had $1,500 on Roulettes for the win and she was very disappointing. Had every chance but gave nothing. Any Dream Will Do will pinch the odd city race, is still learning and when better schooled sure to win the odd $70k race. Dropped $1,500.

Race 8 I backed Melted my top pick and was shorter than I hoped but had $1,000 eachway and a good win. I said she looked a little underdone last start and the jockey did not have a good ride, here was a beautiful ride by Rosie Myers and looked like the horse she can be. Gittana is the horse to follow on the race as did the best work too late. Picked up $6,900.

So over the day invested $9,000 and returned $15,500 for a profit of $6,500. Not too bad for some fun today. I invested just under $80k last Saturday.

Remember being a professional punter is not easy, you have to be able to read form, watch all the races and also have ears on the ground. You have to be choosey with your betting. I only bet in Victoria, hardly ever interstate.

Since Saturday I have had two bets for a win and a second and tomorrow there isn’t anything I am overly keen on but I have horses jotted down and will keep an eye on the markets closely and of course watch every race.

If you want to make money from punting, it takes full time dedication. Of course you need the bankroll as well but you can do it in comparison to your wealth.

Tax free money, and a much better wage than working for any company, I make more from my punting than my businesses which I have to pay tax for.

Again set you betting limits and stick to them. Don’t bet more than you can afford and get help if you have a problem.

People like Brendan Fevola are not professional punters, he was a mug punter and I support them as they help me. Their money often goes on horses I don’t like getting me better odds.

I hope I help the odd Joe Blow, it takes a lot of work doing this blog as composing it takes time, I want to give my ideas on why I like a certain horse and not just the numbers.

Anyway, good luck if punting Thursday and Friday and will be back for Saturday’s meeting at Flemington.

Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

It’s a heavy 10 and showers forecast, so their might not even be a meeting on the way it is going. Saturday was a good day. Finished off with 3 winners in a row and my big bets of the day saluted easily being Mid Summer Music and Second Effort.

Race 1 – 3100mtrs 0 – 82 high-weight Handicap – 12.00pm

A high weight handicap and I am not interested at all, sorry to all.

Race 2 – 1300mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 78 Handicap – 12.35pm

This is a weak race to say the least. Best for me is No 6 Sunset Sioux has 4 runs back from a long spell, her last two have been very good. Her 3rd last start was a solid run and here is light and the barrier she wil be able to dictate terms and hard to run her down. No 1 Reconcentrate (nom Sun) drops back to her own sex and also down in grade and last two runs have been okay. No 2 Tottenham Girl has not run on anything worse than a dead track, watch markets for support as she is racing well.

Race 3 – 1300mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 01.10pm

This is another weak race, No 5 Rocksan if she is going to post a win it will be here. Drops in weight, should be fit and last start sat wide with no cover. If Nolen can get her cover she can work home well going on her Geelong run. No 1 Still looked good winning at Mornington last start, wasn’t an easy win but did fight back well late. No 3 Rockette her debut is better than it looks on paper. Was green first run and did a bit wrong and was doing her best last 200mtrs.

Race 4 – 2100mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 01.45pm

No 2 Pass Me By
ran a good race last start to just go down, this isn’t any harder and will again give them something to run down. No 9 The Southern worked home well stepping out to the 2000mtrs for the first time last start. Found the line well late. No 7 Easton first time past 2000mtrs and last start did too much early, if Myers can get him to settle a chance I think for sure.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.20pm

No 3 Testascana $2.25
was wide all the way first up and sure to have trained on and be much better here. No 4 Another Prelate $7.50 returns from the spell, goes well on the wet and fresh. No 5 Lethal Dealings $8 if starts here watch markets as you have to respect the trainer. No 1 Signor Socks $9 back from a long spell and a chance for multiples.

Race 6 – 1500mtrs 0 - 78 Handicap – 02.55pm

Most of these horses are nominated later in the week so there could be many scratchings here. No 7 Good Value $3 is the standout by far here and the best bet of the day if he starts here. Last start ran a very good race and finished second that winner has gone on to win again since then. No 9 Go For Home $6 lost a plate last start, will be better for the run and sure to be running home hard if starts. No 5 Beowolf $9 has two good runs under the belt and goes well on the wet. No 13 Gael Force $19 returned from a very long spell with a decent run and sure to be better for the run.

Race 7 – 1300mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.30pm

No 2 Ben Zena $3.20 (nom Sat)
if starts here will be hard to beat on last start win, a good front running win and with the claim will again be hard to run down. Was eased down and still had plenty in the tank. No 9 Roulettes $4.50 pulled up lame behind last start, has been cleared by the vet here and is a much better horse than last start. If Ben Zena scratches then she would be my next best by a bit. No 11 Triple Tease $26 I think has a good chance of filling a place, I have watched all his runs and he doesn’t look that bad in the running. No 5 Any Dream Will Do $6 has won both starts and last start win was a ripper, just watch the video and you will see what I mean. This is much harder and if my two top choices start I think they will be a few lengths too good.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.10pm

There are some juicy odds on offer here and this is a hard way to end the day and for the quadrella. No 1 Melted $6 the top weight has been up against some decent horses, returned with the spell with an average run but did look a little underdone and the jockey didn’t do her any favours. I am sure we will see a much better horse here. No 4 Magic Tartan $17 watch her last run as she didn’t have a lot of luck, she was beaten by a smart and upcoming horse and I think way over the odds here. No 12 Sky Rubi $15 only carrying 51kgs here and hit the line well last start for a good win. No 9 Gittana $6.50 a good win first up but the heavy track is a worry but smart looking.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Saturday 18th June 2011 Victoria Australia

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

It’s a slow 6 with a good chance of showers before tomorrow and during the day. Have to find the wet front runners and hope to boot a few home.

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.20pm

I have already backed No 2 Upbeat $3.40 and at much better odds than this. My bookie asked me what I had heard when I first asked a price for him. What I have heard since his very good win is that he looks great and has really come on since that win. The win on a very heavy track was impressive as he was green his first up run and needed that run. Oliver should get him in a great position from this barrier. No 1 Secret Hills $5 does look the threat. He won his trial coming into this preparation and then a strong win at Bendigo but did tire a little and lay out, should be fitter and run this out. No 10 Babel $7 a good win on the synthetic at Geelong, will be much better for that run and should go alright in the wet. No 9 Marshall Street $10 (nom Thur) I have watched his only run a few times and he really made this race hard on himself. Could have won this race if was in a better position in the straight.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 12.55pm

This isn’t an overly strong race and I think a value runner has a chance here. No 10 Procida $14 (nom Wed, Thur) I have watched her last 4 runs including his trial run, she doesn’t look that bad and last start there was a lot of bad things in that race but still a good result. I think Froggy will push forward with her and she should be outside the leader and could give them something to chase down. No 2 Royal Bender $4.20 is an honest horse and racing well. No 3 Aporia $6 won her first two race runs, then spelled and since returning hasn’t put her best foot forward. She has not been supported in the markets these two runs but keep a close eye on her as she could be right here. No 1 Enzed Girl $7.50 back to fillies grade will be a chance for multiples.

Race 3 – 1500mtrs 3yo Handicap – 01.30pm

No 7 Tactless $4.60
last start I did say he looked good his previous run returning from NSW, he drifted early to $9 and then the late money came and backed into $7.50. No 4 Volando $4.60 with the 3kg claim will have a chance to turn the tables on Tactless. Is racing very well and sure to be in this a long way. No 1 Population $3.60 is the class runner and the 2kg claim a big help and will give this a shake for sure. No 5 Barangaroo $7.50 for the multiples and last two runs have been good.

Race 4 – 2040mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 02.05pm

No 1 Shylock’s Daughter $4
returns against her own sex here and will be a big threat. The 2kg claim is a big bonus and I was told by a clocker mate she looks really good. No 6 Third Day $4.60 (nom Wed) is racing well and again should be around the mark. Last start had to be straightened and cost her the race. No 4 Dance With Her $4.20 two wins in a row and but I think will find the other two a little too good here. No 3 Go My Girl $2.90 stepping out to 2000mtrs is good and sure to be running home hard.

Race 5 – 2040mtrs Handicap – 02.45pm

I think this will be a race of two as the markets suggest. No 2 Zoomin $4.20 and No 5 Royal Commands $4.20 went head to head last start. I think Zoomin will turn the tide this time as he was doing his best a little late and the 3kg claim a nice help. For multiples throw in the two Smerdon runners. No 1 Black and Bent $9 built a picket fence last preparation and returns after a 350 day spell, he has had 4 trial runs and will be ready. Stable mate Tadgh $61 could add some good value, also 4 trials under the belt.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 03.20pm

As the market suggests No 4 Mid Summer Music $3.40 is the stand out here. It is $7 up for the rest of the field here. I have backed her and the word has been good this week. Watch her first up run from the spell and she looked really good. She will have to push forward as drawn wide but does have pace and I hope she gets home as she is my banker for the day. No 2 Big Spirit $7 will probably lead here and I think Mid Summer Music will be sitting on her back, she will take running down. No 6 Rue Maple $8 just found Mid Summer Music too good last start but a chance for multiples. No 8 Venus World $12 returned from her long spell with a good trial win before being very unlucky last start. Watch the race and you will see what I mean.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs Handicap – 03.55pm

No 3 Philda $3.60
will be firing here, goes well at the track and will be better suited here sitting off the pace a few back, I like when he comes from a few lengths off the leaders and this should happen here. No 4 Mont Fleuri $3 no doubt a threat but she gets too far back for me, carrying 51kgs she will be flying home for sure but will she have clear running. No 1 Light Vision $12 has three trials under the belt, first up form isn’t great but with these trials could be moire forward than usual. No 5 Makeadreamcometrue $13 for the multiples.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs Handicap – 04.30pm

No 7 Second Effort $2.50
I am sure Nikolic has a sure thing under him here. He is racing very well and this race is not any harder. Does meet a few worse at the weights but they way she won last start she had plenty in reserve. No 5 Elumino $5 meets her 4kgs better off in the weights, this is a lot but she was safely held but respect. No 4 Beltrois $5 this is a bit easier than her first two runs this preparation, last start not a bad run. No 1 Rockpecker $9 for the multipes.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 15th June 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A heavy 9 with fine weather forecast but I cannot see a huge upgrade.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 12.00pm

I have had a wager on No 1 Soul Mama (nom Fri) after her nice debut and then being put away. She has gone away and come back from her spell looking good by all accounts and has looked nice on the training track. First starters on breeding that should sprint well fresh No 3 Mariah’s Pulse (nom Sat) and No 9 Unruly Princess (nom Fri). Watch markets on No 2 Noble Twostep is a nice horse and markets will tell us if she is ready.

Race 2 – 1000mtrs 3yo 0 – 72 Handicap – 12.35pm

No 3 Queen Delight
a nice win last start if fillies company, steps out into open company and with the 3kg claim a chance to win two in a row. No 1 Chelembra I do like this horse and he has won his trial coming into this race. The claim helps and keep an eye on markets closely. No 4 Jugahlation good over the sprint and should be around the finish. No 5 Guru Bay an impressive win on the synthetic at Geelong but want to see on the heavy at Sandown first.

Race 3 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 72 Handicap – 01.10pm

No 1 Maraaseem $5.50
has been freshened and likes the wet track, the 3kg claim will help. No 7 Lunacy $6 is another that handles the wet and the claim helps as well. No 6 Gittana $9 returned with a good win at Ballarat , keep an eye on markets as a handy trainer. No 2 Sean Baile Mor $5 (nom Sat, Sun) a good run last start and this isn’t any harder.

Race 4 – 1700mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 89 Handicap – 01.45pm

No 5 Jalsah $4
is racing very well and will be a big chance at this weight. No 2 Miss Lily Rose $4.50 returned from a long spell and looked to have plenty of cobwebs, sure to be better for that run and is a much better horse than that as well. No 1 Florina $21 could really add some good value to multiples here, goes well on the wet. No 6 Graphic $4 (nom Sat) if she starts keep safe as she is racing well.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 02.20pm

No 7 Devilenko $3.60
last two starts have been nice and have to give another chance here. No 6 Ferocia $9 first up and wet all look good for this horse. No 4 Mythical Spirit $5 has been given a let up and is a very nice horse just the track that is a worry for me. No 2 Kenny Kid $10 could add some good value to multiples here.

Race 6 – 1800mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.27pm

No 7 Ruadhan
will be very hard to hold out here. No 11 Vitreous needs runs under the belt, will be fitter and the step up in distance all good. No 1 Fieldmaster (nom Sat) if starts here a chance with the claim. No 13 Coeur D’Amour from the Moody camp for value in multiples.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 03.30pm

No 3 River Bypass $6.50
there was a good go at odds for her first up backed from $61 to $41 and she ran a good third. She goes well second up and on the wet. No 6 Fashion Black $11 a good first up run from the spell and should appreciate the extra distance. No 7 Gossip Girl $3.60 there was good support for her last start but she did too much in front early and weakened. She likes to lead and they will have to run her down.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 2 Mr Make Believe $2.25
looks a dead certainty here. I have already backed but didn’t get much better than is on offer here. No 6 Good Value $3.60 was 2nd to Mr Make Believe last start and a good chance to be again. No 7 Baron $6.50 for the trifecta.

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Saturday 11th June 2011 Victoria Australia

Flemington Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Back at Flemington and the track is a dead 5 and fine but cool weather forecast so a small upgrade could be possible. There are some big fields and tricky races and I will see if I can point you in the right direction.

Race 1 – 1400mtrs 2yo Handicap – 11.50am

This is a hard race and the current favourite No 7 Sport Chic $3.50 is a little too short for me. On debut did motor home late and then second up won at Caulfield but did have to work hard, will be better suited to the better ground but is no standout for me. No 4 Chaplin $7 I have watched his debut run in Adelaide a few times and I like what I saw. Had a beautiful run in the race but could not get clear in the straight and when did was too late, was making ground on the line so the extra metres should suit. For multiples there are so many to choose from. No 10 Passilente $11, No 2 Catacomb $15 and No 1 Aberrant $18.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 82 Handicap – 12.25pm

No 1 Limerock $2.70 (nom next Sat)
drops back to fillies class after a good win in open class. She does go up in weight but the 3kg claim by the apprentice is a big bonus. I have already backed her and she looks the goods to me. No 3 Safe $12 is at very juicy odds and will be better suited with track conditions here. There was a big go for her late last start backed from $21 into $12 late. No 8 Magic Tartan $15 (nom Mon, next Sat) is a Tinkler horse that was backed in from $16 to $7.50 last start and won well, this is a lot harder but respect for multiples. No 5 Halo Miss Maher $5 back on the former ground will suit much better.

Race 3 – 2000mtrs 3yo 0 – 82 Handicap – 01.00pm

No 9 Bold Trojan $5
last start could have and probably should have won, I prefer the male jockey on board here also stepping out to this distance. I backed him eachway at much better odds after getting some good reports earlier this week. No 12 You Think So $7.50 on breeding should run this distance out and a nice win fist up and did a bit wrong, a much easier race but respect. No 10 Cottonwood $17 on breeding have to respect and not a bad win in an easy Sale race. No 2 Midnight Martini $4.60 is the current favourite and racing well, the 3kg claim a big help but the barrier is a worry. Is a horse that sits back but could find a wall of horses to get past.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs Handicap – 01.35pm

No 2 Perturbo $3.10
ran a nice run after the 8 week freshen up, is a very honest horse and will be in the finish. No 4 Big Spirit $4.80 goes well at the distance, the track, fresh and sure to be forward. No 8 Briefed $5 first up and have to respect fresh. No 5 Sandusky City $8.50 forget last start as is better than that and will be a chance for multiples

Race 5 – 1400mtrs Handicap - 02.11pm

No 6 Epic Dragon $2.45
a really good run back from a long spell and has tightened up I have been told, looks a good thing here but too short for me at the moment and will wait for markets to open but I like a lot on the whispers. No 8 Mr. Griswold $13 is light and could really add some good value to multiples. No 9 Tanah Lot $7.50 is another that is light and ran home well on the synthetic track at Geelong last start. The further it gets the better for this horse. No 1 La Rocket $16 could be a surprise as has been trialed three times and should forward.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs A.R Creswick Stakes (Listed set weights) Handicap – 02.48pm

This is a very hard race. I am looking at having a small bet on No 2 Territory $17 has had a few weeks break and if he is right then could surprise all here. No 3 Secession $15 has been gelded during the spell. Sydney form not so bad and watching some of his races he looks a nice horse. No 6 Liveandletdie $6 is another nice horse at good odds but is equally favourite in a very open race. No 7 Punctuate $10 only has the one start since coming across from Tasmania and not a bad first hit out.

Race 7 – 2500mtrs Handicap – 03.28pm

No 11 Eruptious $4.60
has three good runs under the belt since coming across from NZ. Was well supported last start and hit the line hard for a good win. No 9 Streaky Fella $6 has drawn wide but last two runs have been good and on that form need to respect. No 2 Boom N Zoom $8 will be better suited on the firmer track and sure to be primed. No 10 Little Slapper $14 to add some value to multiples.

Race 8 – 1700mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 4 Euphoric Realm $3.20
I have backed already, Price is a good trainer and should have the fitness here now to run this out. I have been told from my Caulfield man that on the track this week. No 5 Orientaped $14 is a country trained horse that doesn’t go so bad. The claim helps and also will need the sting out of the track a little. No 7 Titus Vinius $5 is a horse that needs runs under the belt and even further than this will be better but respect. No 10 Pliers $8 is light carrying only 51kgs and from this barrier will more than likely lead and take running down.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Wednesday 8th June 2011 Victoria Australia

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

It is a heavy 8 and overcast and rain predicted so be very wary. I predict that most horses up on the pace will be winning the day but keep an eye on the first few races.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo Handicap – 12.00am

No 1 Eramor
returns from his first spell, should be all the better for that first preparation and looked a horse with potential. No 6 Robbers Roost (nom Sun) is a first starter and nicely bred, should sprint well and also be better over more distance, especially when he matures a little. No 2 Stratumsphere one start for one win, it was at an easy maiden at Sale and was backed from $15 into $12 before starting at $13. Eramor is a class and a half above though.

Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo 0 – 68 Handicap – 12.35pm

No 6 Ben Zena $2.90 (nom Mon)
has a big chance for win number two here. Looked a bit underdone first uo and has tightened up I have been told and looked very good I was told late last week. He has promise but still a green horse. No 1 Set and Forget $4.20 is another horse still learning. He does go way up in weight with the class drop but if he puts it all together a big threat. No 3 Angelican $7.50 returns after being eased up his last start. I watched three of his races and looks a nice horse. Has a trial under the belt and just watch the markets. No 2 Al Jandar $9 (nom Fri) had to lead last start and this is not what he would normally do, the wide barrier he ran to the lead and was headed about 200mtrs out but fought hard.

Race 3 – 3000mtrs Highweight Handicap – 01.10pm

Things are desperate when we have highweight handicaps on a Wednesday. Look it does give the hurdle and steeple jockeys a ride for the day. There are a few half decent horses that were good in their day getting around but I will not be having a punt in this race.

Race 4 – 2040mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 - 89 Handicap – 01.45pm

No 6 Dazzling Ruby $8
is a horse that needs runs under her belt, she goes well in the wet usually and will be better than her last few races for sure. No 1 Marheta $4.80 is another that improves with racing, sure to be fit and ready here. No 7 Third Day $5.50 is frustrating to follow but will be a chance for places. No 5 Dance With Her $2.35 you cannot fault her form and she does drop a heap of weight with the class rise, I just think this will be a little too far out of reach for her.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap - 02.20pm

No 3 Miss Inform $4.80 (nom Fri)
goes back out to the 1200 and goes alright on the wet. No 4 Testapal $8.50 (nom Fri) is better than the first two runs this preparation and should be better here. No 8 No Vacancy $9 first up goes well. No 2 Locke’s Choice $4.80 the distance will stretch him but chance for multiples.

Race 6 – 1000mtrs Fillies & Mares Handicap – 02.55pm

No 4 Humma Mumma, No 2 Sunday Rose, No 3 La Bella Roo
and No 11 Super Swell.

Race 7 – 1533mtrs 0 - 89 Handicap – 03.30pm

If No 3 Population $2.25 starts (nom Sat)
will be very hard to beat here. No 5 Conquering Journey $6.50, No 8 Cosmocrat $11.

Race 8 – 2040mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 04.10pm

No 3 The Tiger, No 2 Pass Me By
and No 7 Titus Vinius.

Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Sunday 5th June 2011 Victoria Australia

Ballarat Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Not a bad day at Sandown yesterday, it started off very well with a nice win in the first, then the 3rd in The Australian Steeple and the 4th in the Australian Hurdle, the 7th Midnight Martini saluted and the last I am very pissed at Benbow’s ride, he lost the race on Deliver The Dream. I had backed my second choice Go My Girl at $12, I had $1k on it and still lost $3,000 on that race overall. The quadrella hurt as I had Deliver The Dream as a standout in the last leg. If I had included Go My Girl it would only have cost $108 per unit. I had the quadrella 20 times at $54 a unit so it hurt a little missing out. Still I ended up well on the day. 13k extra in the pocket but could have been a lot more but that is racing.

Race 1 – 1500mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 12.25pm

This is not a strong race and I like the change of stables for No 9 Gittana I think she will be a much better schooled horse back from her first spell, her debut run at Echuca she looked good, nice action so watch markets. No 1 Cash Burner has only raced once this preparation but has been in work a long time, should run this distance out. No 5 Notiestwo gets blinkers here and should help him a lot as he wobbles a bit in the races I have watched.

Race 2 – 1400mtrs Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm

No 2 Add The Cash
has a good chance here to break the duck, not a strong race and Newitt on board again a good choice. No 4 Delago Dusk leaves his home track of Geelong where he is going well on the synthetic, racing well. No 3 Bootlegger is an ex kiwi across for his first start here so watch markets.

Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm

Another weak race and No 1 African Heat returns from his first spell, will be better schooled and a handy stable. No 5 Signal Fire having his first start has won a trial, on breeding could go alright as he dad was handy over the sprints as a 2yo but will be better over way more distance when he matures. No 7 Thou Shall Conquer has run into some smart horses in his short career to date, this is a lot easier.

Race 4 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm

Another weak race, No 8 Pure Fantasy should go well on the Ballarat track, Yendall climbs back on a good addition here. No 10 Sugar Lips has a chance on lucky 13th start to collect a win. No 4 Loss of the Manor will get an easy lead here I think and could just set the pace and run away with it.

Race 5 – 1000mtrs Fillies & Mares Class 1 Handicap - 02.45pm
A hard race. No 1 Louisville Dancer won well on the synthetic first up, looked nice and hit the line well. No 4 Who’s Listening will more than likely lead and will take some chasing down. No 3 Procida has a trial under the belt and should be ready to go here. No 2 My Bellydancer returned with a good win from the spell and this not much harder.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 03.20pm

No 7 Spartini
returned from the spell with a good win here at Ballarat. This is harder being open company but was an impressive win coming from barrier 14, sitting wide all the way. Will need to jump well from barrier 2. No 7 King Kalakaua is better than last few starts, has not jumped well both runs this preparation but need to respect this horse. No 5 Testy Girl returns from her spell and she is an honest horse and will be around the finish. No 10 Tornado Jack a good win first up from the spell.

Race 7 – 1400mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 03.55pm

In order of preference No 4 Cheville, No 10 Key Rossa, No 6 Fu Jak and No 3 Mr. Rocky first starter from NZ in good stable.

Race 8 – 1400mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 04.30pm

No 7 Lethal Arrow, No 4 Ransom Willy, No 12 Miss Whytwokay and No 8 Zanzidar
.

Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips Saturday 4th June 2011 Victoria Australia

Sandown Lakeside Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

We are racing at Sandown Lakeside on a slow track with rain predicted. Keep an eye on any bias throughout the day. Remember I watch every race ran in Victoria each day. I watch races of any horse that form catches my attention. I have friends who work at the tracks and mates at the races on race day. Only bet what you can afford. Don’t be a mug punter.

Race 1 - 1200mtrs 2yo Fillies Handicap – 11.50am

This is a race of two horses for sure. No 2 Le Societe $2 is the firm favourite and I only got .40c better on opening markets and has firmed since then. I had 5k on her as her debut did look very good and all I have heard is she has eaten up and trained on since then. No 1 Graskop $4 returns from her first spell and she was a green horse her first preparation, she looks a nice horse with lots of promise and will be good to see her back racing. For multiples No 4 Zippa The Rippa $7 (nom Wed) won well at debut at Morhpettville, I have watched the race and she does look a nice horse. The first starter No 10 Revidere $8.50 I love the breeding out of Redoute’s Choice and Zalinda, she was out of Zabeel and I think this horse will really shine from the 1400mtrs up mark.

Race 2 – 2100mtrs Handicap – 12.25pm

It is hard to go past No 4 Shylocks’s Daughter $3.10, she is racing very well and stepping back into open company against the boys drops in weight. She is racing very well and another good chance at a win here. No 2 Zoomin $6.50 hasn’t raced since late April, has been in work and will have to watch markets for support. No 5 Influential Miss $9 (nom Wed) she has held her own last two starts in open company and again sure to fight hard all the way. A good outsider for multiples for me is No 9 Tully Prince $31 (nom Wed) with Yendall on top a very good choice for me.

Race 3 – 3900mtrs Australian Steeple Handicap – 01.05pm

I am not much of a steeple man; I just hope Banana Strand stays on the course proper. No 1 Vindicating $6.50 for me. Robbie Laing gave him a hit out a few days ago at Cranbourne and this horse needs this. Will be sure to run a big race and don’t forget at Warrnambool the saddle shifted that tipped the rider out.

Race 4 – 34000mtrs Australian Hurdle Handicap – 01.45pm

Eric Musgrove has three runners and I really hope one of them wins this. The favourite No 4 Our Aristocrat $2.60 you cannot fault the form and being a Galileo is a big bonus for me. Two starts over the jumps for two wins and a big chance for a turkey here for sure.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap - 02.25pm

No 5 Roulettes $3.80
has been let up a little and Oliver jumps aboard since returning from abroad. With the track wet and the course chopped up a little will all play into her hands I think. I backed early at better odds in the early markets as she will shorten I believe on the current call as well. No 3 Aporia $4.80 returned from her spell with an average run indeed after her first two race start wins. Maybe she didn’t handle the heavy 8 track and she also looked a little underdone, keep safe if any money moves. No 2 Royal Bender $4.60 (nom Wed) has never carried 59kgs and will be a big test, so she might choose to race next week but if starts respect as a nice horse. Her last start forget, the 1400mtrs looked a little too far for her and back to the 1200mtrs much better. No 1 Beau Vallon $7 since coming across The Tasman has put in two good runs, chance for multiples.

Race 6 – 1200mtrs Handicap – 03.10pm

This is a hard race and I am looking at 7 horses for my quadrella leg. My man from Caulfield has told me that No 11 Testascana $8.50 is returning from his spell and has looked good the past week when he saw him, said he looked fit and I had a small go at $10 for 2.5k eachway. No 1 Philda $12 is another at juicy odds, last two start wins have been in easier company but is light and racing well. No 3 Elumino $6 returned from along 41 week spell, this was a very good run on the heavy 8 track as she did look a little underdone, sure to be stripped fitter here. No 14 Second Effort $4.60 two starts this preparation for two wins. I just think there are some speed horses inside of him that will keep him too wide.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 3yo Handicap – 03.50pm

This is another tricky little race. No 5 Lonhreign $5 (nom Wed) to me just got too far back last start but found the line well. Little puts blinkers on for the first time here and Lonhro horses this can be a big difference. He is usually tardy at the start but could jump better here. No 8 Midnight Martini $6 looked much better second up, came from well back and won by a nice margin on the line, it was a very heavy track so if it is wet and the track chops up should be no problem here. No 6 Volando $5 you can forgive last start as did have things go wrong. Was squeezed at the start and then got held up in the straight and not clear until about 100mtrs out, not fully tested and any money keep safe. For multiples No 7 Java Jack $11.

Race 8 – 1600mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap – 04.26pm

No 2 Deliver The Dream $2.60 (nom Wed)
is a stand out in my quadrella. This field is weak and the weight is no worries, the step up in distance a bonus, everything looks good. My biggest bet of the day. No 7 Go My Girl $12 ran second to Deliver The Dream last start and another good chance here again to finish bridesmaid. No 1 Mont Fleuri $7.50 the weight is a worry but a good horse and will be around the finish. No 3 Rain Shadow $6 is a frustrating horse and the ‘improved’ performance last start win by the stable rep simply as being “mares go well at Flemington’ being a little bit of tripe. Maybe they “go well” at Sandown Lakeside as well.
