Cox Plate Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Saturday 22nd October 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Cox Plate Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

This is an exciting day of racing. There will be some short priced favourites that will be very hard to beat.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 2yo (Special Conditions SW) – 12.35pm

A lot of young first starters here and markets are going to be a good guide to what is ready to win. Of the horses that have raced No 4 Rise To The Top $3.20 did make a good debut in Sydney working home well. No 14 Lamingtons $6 also ran a decent race down the straight of Flemington first up.

Race 2 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies Handicap – 01.20pm

This is going to be a nice race. No 5 Twilighting $3.20 an impressive front running win last start, ran at a good click and kicked away strongly for a good win. No 6 Flame of Lanka $11 won last start in Adelaide, the time wasn’t spectacular but watching the race he did looked much more switched on. Well bred and could be a surprise winner here. No 2 Euryale $5 is better than last few starts suggest. I don’t think the pace of last start suited and he will be coming home hard. No 4 Classic Elle $3.80 is a big chance here for sure. She is still learning and looks a nice little filly and the weight drop is huge but I worry she will be pocketed from this barrier as she doesn’t get away all that quickly.

Race 3 – 1200mtrs 3yo Australia Stakes (Group 3 Open SW) – 02.05pm

I can really see this being a blanket finish with some nice horses here. No 6 Beckon $4.60 this by far is his hardest test to date but I like what I Have watched of this horse and he is surely going to give this a shake. No 7 Red Rain $7.50 is in the same boat, this is much harder but I like his win back from the spell. No 1 Amah Rock $5.50 has been freshened and looks a smart little horse to date. He is still green but a chance here for sure. No 8 Karuta Queen $2.80 is a pocket rocket and will lead this at a genuine click for sure. I just worry she is going to do too much work and the others will get over the top of her.

Race 4 – 2040mtrs 3yo M W Vase (Group 2 Open SW) – 02.40pm

I cannot see No 1 Manawanui $1.22 being touched here. Has never been over this trip but there is no genuine leader here. Schofield will rate him perfectly and just wait for the right time and it should be all over. No 2 Collar $5.50 from the hit and miss Hickmott stable and on breeding you lick your lips about this horse. Should run a very good race but will have to wait and see. No 5 Power Broker $11 is more than likely going to lead, maybe Rawiller will push it along and keep it a genuine paced race but have to wait and see. No 4 I Feel Good $81 for multiple players to add some value. Is still learning and give a chance to run this out well.

Race 5 – 1200mtrs Schweppes Stakes (Group 2 Open WFA) – 03.20pm

How far will she win by and what time will No 5 Black Caviar $1.04 run. A quinella for Moody with No 3 Doubtful Jack $51 then No 1 Scenic Blast $17 and for the first four No 4 Blavan $34. Money will be in the multiples.

Race 6 – 2500mtrs International Cup (Group 2 Open SW) – 04.00pm

This is a very hard race. Markets are going to be a good guide so watch them carefully. No 5 Shewan $5.50 he has looked very good last two starts and from this barrier should be able to slide across and not get pocketed on this tight track. No 4 Tullamore $4.60 first Victorian run was good, Waterhouse will have him ready to go for sure. No 1 Americain $3 you have to keep safe but not sure how he will handle the tight and short straight of the Valley. No 11 Swooper $21 for multiple players.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs Handicap Crystal Mile (Group 2) – 04.40pm

No 9 Testa My Patience $4
gets his chance to win his first group race here. He has looked very good this preparation and was unlucky first two runs. Last start showed them a clean pair of heels and with the weight drop is going to be a big chance. No 6 Luen Yat Forever $6 is going to find this much easier than last few starts. Is racing well and have to respect. No 8 Silver Grecian $21 not a bad first up run in Australia and should have improved since then. For multiples No 3 Dao Dao $8.

Race 8 – 2040mtrs 3yo & up W S Cox Plate (Group 1 Open WFA) – 05.35pm

I cannot wait for this race. No 5 Jimmy Choux $5.50 I backed a while ago in early markets. Then at breakfast with the stars he had a poor gallop everyone said, but it was just a gallop. I backed him again as bookies wound him out and all I can say is that he looks great and has been running amazing splits. This is a smart horse and we will see if as smart as I think he is. No 9 Rekindled Interest $7.50 is sure to be running home hard but will have traffic in the way. No 12 Secret Admirer $11 a very good win last start and should run this out, really finds the line well. No 13 King’s Rose $11 just wouldn’t go away last start, fought all the way to the line and sure to do the same again. No 14 Helmet $3.30 has to be respected with only 49.5kgs. It is going to be hard to hold him from leading and McEvoy is going to have his work cut out for him.

Race 9 – 1600mtrs 4yo & up Mares Handicap THT Stakes (Group 3) – 06.20pm

A tough mares race to finish off the day. No 4 Little Surfer Girl $4.80 a Sydney raider could pick up the win here. I like what I have watched of her and if she handles this way of going a chance for sure. No 1 Lady Lynette $3.60 you have to respect and trust. She put in a shocker last start and could here as well. You go back and watch her other 4 starts since the spell and you know you cannot dismiss her. Next an outsider No 8 Our Ella Belle $15 a kiwi horse having her first Aussie start and reports haven’t been so bad on her. No 5 Raspberries $7 I have watched all 4 runs this preparation and she can put in a decent race.
