Wangaratta Horse Racing Tips Tuesday 13th December 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Wangaratta Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

A hard day of racing it looks like here. Some very average fields throughout the day. Bet wisely if punting.

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm

This is not a strong maiden at all here. All interest for me will be on first starter No 6 Michalak that is well bred but unseen since a trial way back in September 2010. Markets are going to be a guide but I do look forward to seeing this horse over much further distances. No 10 Heesatoff in the hands of a very good country trainer and I like the breeding as dad was very handy but a short career and mum not so bad either. Should sprint well. Of the raced lot No 4 Funrun just have to give a chance after returning from the spell and putting on a rodeo show. Was well supported in markets that day. No 5 Menchov first preparation not so bad and should have matured a little in the paddock and be better for the racing.

Race 2 – 1170mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 03.20pm

No 7 Aliberani
(nom Thur,Fri) a first starter for the Moody camp who won her trial leading into this. She does look a nice horse watching the trial run and well bred and need to respect. No 9 Leica Duel is another first starter that I really like the breeding on. I do think she will have speed but this horse will be best over a mile and more for me. Of the raced lot No 4 Princess Mossman (nom Fri,Sat) is one that you just have to give a chance as she can run a decent race even though her record isn’t great. No 8 Approve (nom Thur) is a horse that should be better than she has been to date.

Race 3 – 1300mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 03.55pm

No 4 Hirafu
(nom Fri) first preparation was a green horse but looked more than handy and hopefully the spell he has matured. Some form guides showing he is carrying blinkers here for the first time and others are not so some confusion. I do think they would be a welcomed addition. Won his trial well leading into this and a very solid bet. No 1 Aurum Spirit first couple of runs have been promising and found the line well. No 9 Spring Burst just have to give a chance as should be better than last start back from the spell. First starter No 5 Khatam (nom Thur, Fri) trial run was okay leading into this.

Race 4 – 1600mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 04.35pm

A very weak maiden here. No 8 Magisterial (nom Fri) has been disappointing to say the least. The Moody camp paid $230K for him and he just hasn’t fired yet. He hasn’t been supported in markets all three runs so if there is any money here get on board with it. No 2 Full O’ Hope was better last start, worked home alright after a wide run. No 9 Cashere Miss (nom Thur, Fri) not the worst in this field.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 0 - 58 Handicap – 05.15pm

Another very average race here. No 3 Flamina two good starts since being freshened and then last start got into traffic and never into the race. Was well supported from $9.50 - $6.50 late. Give a chance but she does get back in her races. No 2 Zappa Lightning is going to be better for the two runs back from being freshened and a definite chance. No 1 Costa Mucho is possible of anything. Hard to follow.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 05.55pm

Another weak race here and I am leaning to No 6 This Cat’s Magic as she has a couple of runs back from the spell and I am sure Cox has her tip top. Her last start she raced very tight with not much room all the way down the straight and looked to have a bit in the tank. No 7 Little Pablo (nom Fri) a good win back from the spell and then last start had no chance as the race was slowly run and he was too far back. Will get back but come home strong. No 4 Wannajewel backed late from $8 - $4.60 and just held on to win. Lead all the way but did get tired near the line. No 5 Cudgewa for multiples.

Race 7 – 1000mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 06.35pm

No 6 Very Humorous
two wins in a row here at the track last couple of starts. Has been freshened and last start a good win as dueled for the lead early and used some gas but won well. No 2 Kenston forgive last start as sprints well but the weight is a little bit of a worry. No 4 Belle Diva can run a good sprint when on her game.

Race 8 – 1170mtrs Fillies & Mares Class 1 Handicap – 07.15pm

And another poor race here. No 2 North East (Nom Thur, Fri) hasn’t lived up to breeding to date but last preparation much improved and returning here from the spell again should be better schooled. No 9 Pimento is NE stablemate and another on breeding has been disappointing but give a chance. No 3 Bitter Fun (nom Fri) out of her class last start, this will be easier.
