Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 9th December 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (Set weights) – 06.45pm

I do expect one of the first starters to salute here. No 8 Radium is well bred and won his trial and looked a nice horse. No 7 Ozone Bar I also expect to sprint well fresh but do think another 200-400mtrs will suit better on breeding. No 5 Harvey The Rabbit (nom Mon) also should have speed and a chance to sprint well. Of the raced lot No 2 It’s Crunch Time a decent debut before failing on a heavy track and returns here and should have matured a little. No 1 I’m A Soldier last couple of runs have been good.

Race 2 – 1533mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (Set weights) – 07.15pm

I have backed No 2 Verification I watched all 4 runs this preparation and every one he has been a little green or run into a problem and also been a little unlucky. His first start in blinkers last start and if the jockey can keep him out of a trouble I think a big chance. No 12 Parnissius just have to give a chance if gets a start. First up from the spell disappointed but trust the breeding. No 3 Itzablur has stepped out in distance well last few starts and finds the line well. Doesn’t have a lot of gate speed so will get back and traffic could be a problem. No 7 Kenona Lass this is much harder than last couple of starts but they were decent.

Race 3 – 2500mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 07.45pm

I have already backed No 3 Dame Claire $3 as she is racing well and had a couple of weeks break and last start a big run. Was 3 wide with no cover leaving the straight the first time and eventually led around the 1200mtr mark. Was put under pressure near and around the bend but went head to head to the line to just go down, huge run. Comes in better at the weights going up in class. No 5 Gatecrusher $5.50 not a bad effort at the Valley for the first time. Got checked, brushed near the 600mtr mark but found the line alright after straightening. No 2 Snitza $2.70 has a 2kg claim and I know we will see a better horse than last start and a big threat. No 6 Derisive $6 (nom Sun) a definite multiples contender.

Race 4 – 955mtrs 0 – 82 Handicap – 08.15pm

This is going to be a fast race early as there are plenty of genuine leaders here and I am sure they will fight for it. It is more than likely going to set up the race for a horse off the pace but we will see. No 8 Weekend Special $4.40 is more than likely going to be one of those leaders. He is returning from the spell and a great preparation last time. Morphettville can be a hard place to judge form on but this horse does look handy and sure to have matured more in the paddock as well. No 11 Strike The Tiger $7 (nom Wed) I think Leon has him primed here as his trial he did look looked good and not pushed. No 1 Cellarmaster $6 (nom Sat) Payne has not been able to get him to sprint as he did as a 2yo in NZ and will be better over further but a multiples chance for me.

Race 5 – 1600mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 08.45pm

This is a hard girl race for me. No 1 Two Sugars $5.50 and this is going to be a big test with this weight. Last couple of starts have been good wins on wet tracks in the country. Comes back against her own sex here and just give her a chance. No 3 Gig $4.60 she went up in weight last start against the fillies and held on a long way. She will have benefited from the run and a good chance here. No 4 Annario $5 broke her maiden class with a good front running win at Ballarat and cleared well away from them. No 5 Dayita $3.50 a Moody runner won returning back from the spell. Did just fall in but was a hard run being wide with no cover. Got to the lead on the turn and flattened out well but got tired late.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs 4yo & up Mares 0 – 68 Handicap – 09.15pm

I don’t like this race much at all. No 8 Red Rose Bud (nom Sun) her first trip to the city last start and a good run. She sat up on the speed and ground home well but just couldn’t find that extra gear needed. No 3 Gadabout forget last start as not much luck or a good ride. Has been racing well before that. No 4 Danyme has been hammering to the line of late and Froggy sure to give a good steer. No 2 Spirit Song for multiples.

Race 7 – 2040mtrs 0 – 78 Handicap – 09.45pm

No 5 Seeking Chi $3.70
has stepped out in distance well and seems to have settled in now since coming across the Tasman. Forgive last start as he did pull hard in the race and looked a little underdone to me and should be ripped and ready here. No 2 Jeuneys End $2.80 (nom Sat) the trainer advised he was to be ridden back last start and was. Backed from $101-$61 late in the markets and run a big race without some luck during the running. No 6 Te Jay $13 give a chance as last start just didn’t seem switched on to the task but is better than that run. No 10 Magnetic East $51 the value injector for multiples.

Race 8 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares 0 – 72 Handicap – 10.15pm

A tricky race to finish the night off on. No 5 Lis Nediym give a chance from last start. Copped a big whack on jumping and settled last. Came wide on the bend and into the straight warming up slowly. Can find the line very well. No 9 Dashing Miss (nom Tue, Wed) is another to forgive first up effort from the spell. Sat last, got into traffic on the bend and came wide in the straight and only seemed to get going last 75mtrs. No 6 Save A Penny I like this apprentice and the claim will help and I give a shot for multiples. No 2 Glenariff as well for multiple players.
