Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Friday 2nd December 2011 Victoria Australia

I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.

I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.

Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.

Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia

Race 1 – 1200mtrs 3yo Fillies 0 – 68 Handicap – 06.45pm

This is going to be a hard opening race for punters I think. No 2 Song Of The Bell I am banking on she has matured a little more in the paddock and will get the distance here. She is a nice horse that has some good runs under her belt. No 9 Lookater a good maiden win last start. It was only at Warrnambool but a cheeky front running effort and caned them. No 4 High Class Lady is also a Bool horse and going to the city in good form with two wins in a row but this could test but respect. No 1 Still has the 3kg claim off her back and first up only found her feet too late but stretched out nicely late.

Race 2 – 2040mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 07.15pm

No 8 Hamel
has come back this preparation looking a lot better and ran some decent races and the first time over the distance here. I hope he runs it out. No 12 Lunar Blonde ran a very good race here at the track last start over the distance. Got away poorly and sat well back last but tacked on around the bend and really flattened out well hitting the line hard. No 1 Flying Hula was in the same race as LB and beat her home by a nose. She also ran a good race working into it well from back in the field but just going down in a grinding finish. No 10 Mr Consolidator has the runs under the belt here but his problem is his tardiness from the barriers but will be charging home hard.

Race 3 – 3000mtrs 0 – 89 Handicap – 07.45pm

No 3 Jumpin Jack Cash $2.70
I was surprised that Payne didn’t have an apprentice with a claim here but he must be confident. It was a strong win but an extra 4kgs will give him a test. No 6 Crafty Cruiser $6.50 is being backed up from last weekend where he didn’t handle the heavy track. He is solid around this distance and is light and if he has eaten up and trained on from the run last week should be around the finish. No 8 Flash O’Brilliance $26 not a bad effort first time to the city last start. Jumped at $61 and went back last but worked home well for third. Will need to find another gear to challenge JJC. No 5 Unchain My Heart $4.40 has been racing well across in Sydney and returns home but needs to show that form here but respect.

Race 4 – 955mtrs 3yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 08.15pm

A small field but should be a very good race. I think No 3 Rockbird $5.50 is value. He was never supported on debut and not a great run. Returned with a strong trial and started $1.40 favourite and won. Not a convincing win being so short but I do think he will be better on the better going as well. No 2 Lady Antebellum $2.80 a nice front running horse backed well last start and won well. Hard to beat on that form. No 4 Sweet Music $3.80 a good debut and then backed up and won hitting the line had to just get there. Looks nice at the weights. No 1 The Counterfeiter $3 must include in multiples.

Race 5 – 1523mtrs Mares 0 – 78 Handicap – 08.45pm

A hard way to start the quaddie. No 5 Grenada Road $5 this is her biggest test to date by far but Moody has been patient with her and she returned with a good win on a heavy track. She looked nice and just have to trust her breeding and the trainer. No 9 Taxee $8 a cheap buy at $7k and has already won 16K in two starts. Comes to the city and she is light at 52kgs. She is still very green but I like what I have seen of her. No 1 Maquina $4.80 I really don’t know if she will start here because of the weight, even with the claim she is a little too heavy for me but Saturday would be perfect for her. No 7 Resounding Miss $7 SA form is good and fist up from the spell looked a little underdone but need to respect this stable. Any scratching keep No 3 Dashalot $5.50 in calculations.

Race 6 – 1600mtrs Handicap – 09.15pm

No 5 Turnitup $3.50
returned with a solid run from the spell at WFA. Is much better off here and I backed as soon as I could and did get better odds than this. I have had a good go at him as I got great mail from a very good source and just have to trust what they have said about his work on the training track. No 6 Eraset $4.80 forgive last start as the rain came down and maybe didn’t handle it. He is a solid and form is very good this preparation. No 9 Goldens Choice $6 at this weight will be competitive and goes well at the track and at the distance. No 1 Lord Pyrus $6 a big weight and I do think it will be too much but he is classy.

Race 7 – 1600mtrs 3yo 0 – 78 Handicap – 09.45pm

No 1 Brambles $2.40
I also backed in early markets and did get a little bit better odds than this. I cannot see him drifting much from this quote, maybe he will go out a little on race-day but I doubt it as I think more money is going to come for him. His debut run he was green and over-raced and got caught behind runners weaved inside tiring runners and flattened out well late. The next two starts thumped his opposition. For me No 2 Sabres $5 is the only threat but I do think he is going to just be outclassed here. No 3 Horico $5 I think the weight will tell late but this preparation with the blinkers on is two wins in a row. No 5 Upbeat $6.50 for multiple players and No 11 Economic $21 being a Hickmott horse anything is possible.

Race 8 – 1200mtrs 0 – 72 Handicap – 10.15pm

Not an easy race to finish the night on. No 9 Roman Eye his form might show three first up runs for no wins but a couple have been unlucky and he races very well fresh. The 1.5kg claim a big help and expect him to give this a shake. No 5 Plain Lucky the weight does worry me and the 2kg claim a help though. Back from the spell didn’ handle the slow track before a solid run as a short favourite at Sandown midweek. Last start give a chance as he did do too much work early from the wide barrier and led them at a good click, only weakened 100mtrs out. No 11 Tahitian Black I think is a better horse than we have seen of late and just have to respect. Emergencies No 13 Lady Pania and No 16 Ziggy’s Crown if start are not without chances.
