I am a professional punter living outside Australia. I punt for a living and for years been helping my mates out with my tips. I have friends on the inside and a professional at reading form.
I watch 100’s of videos each week to pick my winners. I only bet on Victorian races. At times when Victorian horses are interstate I will offer tips at those meetings. I have decided to share my tips, hopefully to help the normal punter win a few bucks on the weekend.
Remember, never bet more than you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem contact professional help in your state, city or country. Victoria Horse Racing supports responsible gambling initiatives. Good luck if having a punt and remember to gamble responsibly.
Warrnambool Horse Racing Tips Victoria Australia
Race 1 – 1700mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.00pm
Not a strong maiden to start the day. No 4 Xiphos (nom Sat, Sun, Mon) has got better with racing and this is a big chance to break the duck if starts here. No 5 Alvie’s Story two good runs back from the spell. Last start got back and wide and then fanned 5 wide into the straight and chased right to the line. No 6 Fairview’s Delight (nom Mon) three runs at Hamilton back from the spell have been promising. Finding the line alright.
Race 2 – 1200mtrs 3yo Maiden Plate (set weights) – 01.35pm
A small field of 3 year olds and markets are going to be a good guide for sure. No 4 Tallica was sent straight into a listed race on debut but ran his race before jumping. He didn’t want to be loaded at all. He jumped poorly but speed along using a lot of gas but quickly got left behind. Keep safe for sure. No 2 Oklahoma Thunder (nom Sun) a decent debut and finished the race off well the last 150mtrs. No 3 Plus Value in a handy stable and has been in work a while coming into this so should be fit. First preparation looked green and should have matured a little. No 5 Poppy’s Pond (nom Sun Tue) is a hard one returning as never supported in markets at all starts. A handy stable and just keep a close eye on markets here.
Race 3 – 1000mtrs 3yo & up Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.10pm
No 6 Fastest Diamond (nom Sat, Tue) if starts will be hard to beat for sure going on debut run. Led at a good pace and just went down with a bob of the head. Has been in the paddock a long time and sure to have matured a little. No 2 Change Of face (nom Sat, mon) give a chance as on debut didn’t have a good run at all. Slow away, sat midfield and came wide but never got into the race. Raced green and sure to be better for the run. For multiples No 5 Mayor of Clonmel returns from the spell and first two runs were okay and then didn’t handle the heavy track. No 1 Baden (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue) changed trainers and keep an eye on markets.
Race 4 - 1400mtrs 3yo & up Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (set weights) – 02.45pm
Not a very nice race here. No 6 La Facette on debut not much luck as sat 4 wide early and no cover and looked gone around the 600mtr mark but held her spot all the way to the line. No 7 Milady Monde returned with a good run from the spell. Led them up at a good speed and only headed 50mtrs out but fought hard to be out-bobbed. No 8 No Other (Mon) watched her trial run and she looks okay so keep an eye on markets. I cannot see Moody taking one runner No 11 Catalina Sound (sat,Sun,Mon) all the way to the Bool. Trial run was average but maybe didn’t handle the slow track, respect if starts.
Race 5 – 1000mtrs 0 – 62 Handicap – 03.20pm
No 6 Spiriticity (nom Sat) of starts sure to give this a big shake. All three runs this preparation has found the line well and this is not a hard task. No 1 God’s Secret can carry weight and goes alright fresh. No 2 Ribati (nom Sat) first up from the spell and can go alright fresh. No 7 Pan Tas is a horse you just have to give a chance to. Decent debut win before a couple of failures but looked to need the run last start and should be better for it.
Race 6 – 1400mtrs Handicap Port Fairy Cup – 03.57pm
Good old Port Fairy just down the road from Warrnambool has a lovely couple of pubs, well it used to. I have already backed No 5 Nicastro $4.80 at better odds than this and these are still juicy as I am sure he will shorten before tomorrow. He has been freshened and last start did a little too much work early and the weight took its toll late. The start before at Flemington was solid. Should get a great run from this barrier. No 11 Desatin $7.50 was just totally outclassed last start. Back to open handicap respect especially at this weight fresh. No 6 Can Do $19 could be a multiples value injector here. He can run a decent race and I expect a better effort than his first up one. No 13 Tolka Polka $13 forget her first up run from the spell completely. Will be better back on her home track. No 3 Bocuse $4.80 is a good lay for me. Last start was a good run but he hasn’t been past 1200mtrs since August 2000.
Race 7 – 1200mtrs 0 – 68 Handicap – 04.37pm
This is going to be a tough race. No 10 Tigress Joy has two runs back this preparation and is more than handy. I think she will be firing on all cylinders here. No 4 Action Again both wins come on good tracks. Returned with a very solid win even though it was only Penola you have to respect. No 5 Amun Ra (nom Sat) a bit of a surprise win back from the spell, wasn’t supported in markets and fought hard to hang on. Sure to be better for the run and fitter. No 8 First Base (nom Sat, Mon) returned with a good run from the spell. Sat wide most the way and came 7 wide in the straight and hit lead 200mtrs out but weakened late. Drops weight and should give this a good go.
Race 8 – 1700mtrs 0 - 68 Handicap – 05.17pm
No 5 Princess Diablo has stepped out well in distance this preparation and last couple of starts very good. Not too far off Full Peal a couple back who is going great guns at the moment. No 1 Can Get Thirsty has the run back from the spell and sure to be better here. The weight is a worry though. No 10 Westonrubi (nom Sat) took a couple of runs to get going last preparation and Little will have her primed if she starts. No 2 Kapu Star (nom Fri, Sat) for multiples.
